Love Notebook of a Reclusive Beautiful Boy - Chapter 30
Chapter 30
Jiang Sheng touched the corner of his mouth, his thoughts wandering a bit.
While thinking, he saw the door open; it was Fu Shan bringing Du Yu in.
He smiled and greeted: “Mr. Jiang.”
Jiang Sheng sat up, nodded politely, and asked, “Is it done?”
Fu Shan replied, “It’s all done, and I’ve also had A-Yu take the medicine.”
Jiang Sheng nodded, indicating he understood.
Seeing that there was nothing else, Fu Shan greeted Jiang Sheng and went out.
Once Fu Shan left, only Jiang Sheng and Du Yu were left in the attic.
He was wearing matching pajamas. His hair had already been blown dry, and perhaps because he had just bathed, his face looked white and tender.
Seeing Jiang Sheng looking at him, he smiled slightly and walked a few steps toward Jiang Sheng’s bed.
Jiang Sheng was indeed looking at him; his thoughts were in chaos. Even though he had calmed himself down, seeing Du Yu’s face again, those pale pink lips.
That unclear emotion seemed to have been dormant for a long time, just waiting for him to be careless, and then it would sweep in from his mind, determined to disorder his reason.
Jiang Sheng suddenly stood up, his gaze looking at Du Yu flatly. His reason was his priority; at least when he was sober, it was absolutely impossible for him to let it break through his reason.
His voice was flat, “Let’s sleep, A-Yu.”
Heaven knows what was wrong with him tonight. He swore that before this, he did not have even the slightest bit of other thoughts toward Du Yu.
He felt that he was so strange today; there was no reason to explain what on earth was wrong with him.
Jiang Sheng thought that right now, he must tidy up the messy thoughts in his head.
It was only past seven o’clock. Although Du Yu went to sleep early, he had never gone to sleep this early before.
And Du Yu clearly did not have the intention to sleep right now. He reached out his hand, trying to grab Jiang Sheng’s wrist.
But he was dodged by Jiang Sheng inadvertently.
Du Yu did not see anything, his finger pointing toward the piano, saying, “A-Sheng, learn piano.”
Jiang Sheng knew what he meant, but since his state was really not right today, he didn’t really want to continue interacting with Du Yu.
His eyes flickered, and he found that Du Yu was staring at him. Jiang Sheng opened his mouth, “I…”
His eyes glanced over Du Yu’s lips, paused, averted his eyes, and said, “I’m a bit tired today, let’s learn tomorrow, okay?”
Du Yu looked at him and nodded obediently, “Okay…”
Jiang Sheng breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look at him, “Then A-Yu, go to sleep.”
Du Yu slowly sat back at the edge of the bed. Seeing Jiang Sheng’s silent appearance, although he didn’t understand these things, he felt in his heart that Jiang Sheng was unhappy.
He picked up a pocket watch in the attic, other than the piano, which he thought was also a bit fun, and pressed the button. With a “ding” sound, the music began to flow out slowly.
He looked at Jiang Sheng and slowly sat on the edge of his bed.
Du Yu knew Jiang Sheng was unhappy. He liked to listen to this music; as soon as he heard this music, his mood became cheerful, so he naturally felt that if Jiang Sheng listened to it, Jiang Sheng would be happy.
However, Jiang Sheng’s mood could no longer be described as happy or unhappy.
He kept reminding his consciousness not to think about messy things, but his consciousness refused to listen to him, which caused Jiang Sheng to feel restless.
But looking at Du Yu’s expectant gaze, he suppressed his thoughts and smiled slightly, “Thank you, A-Yu, go to sleep.”
Seeing him smile, Du Yu thought he was already happy, so he obediently put away the watch and returned to the edge of the bed.
Jiang Sheng watched him lie down and sat by himself for a while.
Looking out the window, although the window was very small, the view could reach very far.
It was already very late, and the lights in the glass flower house were still on. The old master in charge of the flower house was watering inside.
The moon was silent in the sky. The bright moon was like silk, and the moonlight cast the shadows of the parasol trees on the bare ground—sparse shadows of varying shades, like patterns on paper cuttings.
Jiang Sheng was quiet for a while before the slightly chaotic thoughts in his heart got a little better.
Just as he was about to go over to turn off the light, he discovered that he didn’t know when, but Song Jiahao and Sister Xia had already replied to his messages.
He opened them and the first one was from Song Jiahao: [What’s wrong? What do you need that thing for?]
Jiang Sheng replied concisely: [Something came up.]
Song Jiahao: [Alright, wait, it’s just a matter of a word.]
Having finished with Song Jiahao, he then opened Sister Xia’s message: [The doctor changed the medicine for Sister Yan today. After taking it, she is much better and is willing to eat. Don’t worry, Sir.]
[Got it. Tell me if anything comes up.]
After finishing these two things, Jiang Sheng went over to turn off the light.
Taking advantage of the moonlight filtering in from outside, Jiang Sheng got into bed.
The attic was very quiet, and there was a long table between him and Du Yu. Lying down like this, they couldn’t see each other at all.
I don’t know why, that memory that had been pulled out of his mind a while ago suddenly emerged again for no reason.
Jiang Sheng was a bit restless, trying to forget that scene from his mind.
Tossing and turning, he rolled over several times; he couldn’t sleep, but he couldn’t forget.
Du Yu’s face, his smile, his lips, his tongue, and even his kiss… it was as if they were carved into his brain, emerging before his eyes one by one, no matter how he tried, he couldn’t get them out of his mind.
He rolled over again, his face toward the long table, and closed his eyes, trying to fall asleep, because if he fell asleep, these things would be forgotten.
But his consciousness seemed to be deliberately working against him, refusing to let him get his wish.
Not only that, even the look of Du Yu standing in front of him just now in his pajamas began to emerge.
The thoughts in his mind were not under his control. The more he didn’t want to, the more it extracted fragments from his memory, forcing him to remember them deeply.
From his pajamas, he went on to think about the day when Fu Shan was away, when he went into the bathroom and saw Du Yu’s body—white and tender.
White and tender face, slender neck, lean waist, and…
He dared not think any further. The more he thought, the more he inexplicably felt a bit agitated.
The scenes emerging in his mind made him feel more and more that he was not right.
Closing his eyes, he was thinking and thinking, and he actually fell asleep like this.
Perhaps it was “thinking about it in the day, dreaming about it at night.”
The scenes he thought of during the day were all woven into a dream by his subconscious, cutting and splicing.
He dreamt that in this attic, he pressed Du Yu under him time and time again. Every inch of Du Yu’s body seemed to be sprinkled with an intoxicating fragrance.
Jiang Sheng pressed against his neck; the scent between his neck was more intense than other places. In the rhythm under his body, that scent intruded from his nose, deliberately making him indulgent.
Early the next morning, still half-asleep and half-awake, he heard a sound of music by his ear.
Jiang Sheng slowly opened his eyes and saw Du Yu’s face very close to him, almost face-to-face.
There was still a simple and innocent smile on Du Yu’s face. He was holding the pocket watch, leaning against his ear. Seeing him wake up, he shook the pocket watch toward him and said softly and obediently, “A-Sheng, get up…”
Jiang Sheng felt a bit uncomfortable. Du Yu was so close to him, and he remembered the dream he had last night again. His lower body tightened, his complexion not looking too good as he moved to the side, distancing himself slightly, saying, “When did you wake up?”
Du Yu didn’t see his oddity. He closed the watch cover and pressed the button again. The music played once more, and he smiled as he brought the pocket watch closer to Jiang Sheng’s ear, “Listen…”
Jiang Sheng was stunned; he didn’t dodge, letting him smile and hold his hand close to him.
Outside, Fang Ma suddenly knocked on the door, “Is Mr. Jiang awake?”
Jiang Sheng came back to his senses and grabbed Du Yu’s hand, putting it down, “Alright, get up quickly.”
He tried his best to look the same as usual; he didn’t want anyone, or even himself, to see that anything was wrong.
“Wait a moment.”
Jiang Sheng got up to open the door.
Fang Ma smiled, “Teacher Xue is here. Mr. Du told me to come up and call you, saying he wants you to go down and talk to Teacher Xue about learning the piano.”
“Got it.”
Closing the door, Jiang Sheng sat at the edge of the bed preparing to change clothes.
Du Yu hadn’t changed his pajamas. It wasn’t too late right now, just past seven, and because it was the weekend, there was nothing to do, so Fang Ma and Fu Shan didn’t come up to call Du Yu to get up.
Du Yu sat at the edge of Jiang Sheng’s bed, watching him take off his clothes and then change into new ones.
Jiang Sheng ignored his gaze. After he finished changing, he prepared to go down.
Du Yu subconsciously wanted to follow him, “Where are you going…”
His voice was soft.
Jiang Sheng had suppressed that distracting thought, but because he felt ashamed of the dream he had last night, facing Du Yu, he was not as natural as before.
Even though he pretended to be very natural, “I’m going down for a moment. If A-Yu is sleepy, sleep a little longer.”
“A-Yu wants to go too…”
As he said this, he was about to follow Jiang Sheng.
If it were normal, Jiang Sheng certainly wouldn’t mind this.
However, he didn’t know since when he had stopped looking at Du Yu as a child.
The dream last night, those scenes of indulgence, were emerging in his mind time and time again.
He really wanted to just treat that dream as any other dream he had in the past—to be forgotten as soon as it was done.
But that dream, it was too special.
He really wondered if he had been too tired lately, or because he hadn’t dated a girlfriend in a long time, and recently he had been getting too close to Du Yu, which led to his mental disorder.
He didn’t think it was because of anything else, or rather, he didn’t dare to delve into it.
He only attributed these inexplicable thoughts to him being too tired.
“You play in the attic for a while, I will come over after I finish talking in a moment.”
He found an excuse to let himself escape for a while.
But Du Yu refused to listen to him and became stubborn again, his brows slightly furrowed as he looked at him, “Want to go…”
Jiang Sheng really wanted to continue to persist, but seeing Du Yu looking at him stubbornly, he had to sigh and say, “Go change your clothes.”
Actually, Du Yu could do these simple daily chores himself.
It was just that Fang Ma doted on him too much and was unwilling to let him worry about these trifles, so she liked to do everything herself.
At the corner of the bed was the clothing Fang Ma had placed the day before, prepared for him to wear the next day.
Jiang Sheng went in and shook out the clothes, “Take off your clothes.”
So Du Yu slowly unbuttoned them.
Although he knew how, he did it slowly.
If it were before, Jiang Sheng would certainly have helped him, but his thoughts were messy now. The more he looked at Du Yu, especially in sensitive places like the body, the messier he became.
Du Yu unbuttoned slowly, and when he reached the last button, he took off his clothes.
Jiang Sheng was holding the new clothes for him when he caught a glimpse of his white body from the corner of his eye, and then he thought of Du Yu being pressed under him in the dream.
His body was also this white, and there wasn’t a single place different from the Du Yu right now.
It was just that his voice was no longer childish, and the look and tone of his speech had changed, more cheerful, reaching out to wipe the sweat from Jiang Sheng’s forehead, “Are you tired?”
Jiang Sheng’s breathing became chaotic. He turned his face away as if inadvertently and handed him the clothes, “A-Yu, put them on yourself; I’ll wait for you outside.”
