In A World Full of Silence, My Heart Will Find Its Way To You - Chapter 44
Eric’s white horse quickly left Cecil Lake behind and arrived in a secluded forest.
The moonlight was so bright that not even starlight could be seen that night. The forest was filled only with a profound silence.
Thanks to Eric gently wrapping his arms around her, Aria’s ragged breathing gradually steadied.
But the more his breath tickled her ear, the more wildly her heart pounded.
To avoid showing her unease, Aria clenched her teeth and stared straight ahead.
Even thinking back on it, her actions had been reckless.
Without Eric, she wouldn’t have been able to withstand Isabella’s pressure. That’s why she felt grateful to him.
During their time together, Aria realized Eric was completely different from what she had imagined.
Sharp and cold on the surface, but hiding a kind of recklessness underneath.
“This should be the place… Ah, there it is. Good thing I remembered from last time.”
Eric dismounted first and helped Aria down. Guided by his arms, she placed her feet gently on the ground.
At the end of the path they walked stood a shabby, abandoned cabin.
Inside, there was a large pile of wood in the center.
From traces here and there, it was clear that Eric had visited the place more than once.
When Aria sat down in a corner, Eric brought over the firewood and skillfully lit a fire.
Soon, the crackling flames reflected in Aria’s eyes. As the warmth spread, her frozen body slowly began to thaw.
“I came across this place while traveling for business. Hunting cabins like this are often empty since they’re so remote.”
Eric took a bottle of liquor from the corner and poured it into a glass. The sound of the liquid being poured rang softly in the air.
After downing his drink in one go, he offered the half-filled glass to Aria.
“This will help warm you up. It’s not very strong, so go ahead.”
Aria blinked at the glass. Though she had poured drinks for her master before, this was her first time drinking herself.
Seeing her hesitation, Eric’s gaze narrowed slightly.
“Don’t tell me… this is your first time? I’ve heard even ladies drink a bit these days.”
When Aria nodded, Eric was silent for a moment, then let out a quiet laugh.
“In that case, try it. You might come to enjoy this sweet and bitter taste.”
With tense hands, Aria brought the glass to her lips. As soon as she took a sip, a sharp flavor spread throughout her mouth.
Her face contorted into a grimace, and Eric’s eyes softened at the sight.
Even with just one glass, Aria soon felt lightheaded. A blush quickly spread across her pale cheeks.
Thanks to the influence of the alcohol, it felt as if all the bad memories of the past had vanished.
‘Is this why nobles drink? Because when they do, it feels like they’re freed from the weight of honor and status that usually holds them down.’
Aria shook her head and let out a dry chuckle. As she glanced sideways to escape the growing heat in her cheeks, she saw Erik silently staring into the firewood flames.
Without realizing it, Aria found herself gazing at him. He seemed lost in thought. In his blue eyes reflecting the firelight, countless emotions flickered.
It was painful to see such beautiful eyes shadowed by darkness.
Somehow, she felt like it was her fault, and her heart grew heavy. She was afraid she might tarnish the reputation of someone so remarkable.
‘If only I were the daughter of House Reynolds. If that were the case…’
As she sank deeper into a sea of thoughts, a voice pulled her back to the present.
“You seem confused again.”
At the sound of Erik’s deep, gentle voice, Aria reflexively looked up.
He was gazing at her steadily, as if he knew exactly what she was thinking.
Under the weight of his eyes, which seemed to see right through her soul, Aria felt as though she might be drawn in at any moment.
“Why are you always uncertain and worried about everything? Can’t you just follow where your heart leads?”
“It’s not your fault. The blame lies with those trying to control your kind heart for their own ends.”
As Erik looked at her languidly, Aria’s pupils trembled slightly.
“So follow your heart. Rely on those who believe in you. Of course, that includes me too.”
Moved by his gentle reassurance, Aria couldn’t look away. Erik was the first person who had truly believed in her.
Someone who trusted her completely and gave her his all. Perhaps that was why her heart kept drifting toward him.
But she felt she wasn’t worthy of loving someone like him.
Aria eventually lowered her head. Seeing this, Erik let out a quiet, resigned laugh.
“I know I make you uncomfortable. That’s why, from now on, I’ll remain only your master.”
Hearing his firm voice, Aria’s heart sank. It was what she had wanted, yet somewhere deep inside, a faint pain bloomed.
Unable to stop the tears welling up from emotions she didn’t quite understand, she bowed her head even further.
“I shouldn’t be the reason you end up in trouble.”
“So I’d like you to keep me in check, make sure I don’t stray. Will you do that for me?”
Those piercing words made Aria freeze. She clenched her fists tightly, trying to suppress the unfamiliar emotions creeping up inside her.
After watching her quietly, Erik was the first to rise to his feet.
“You don’t look well. We should head back.”
Hearing the sound of movement, Aria slowly lifted her head.
As I watched him get up first and head outside, a painful feeling surged within me.
Is it because of the alcohol? Or maybe it’s because of my small courage that I don’t know where it came from.
Aria, who had stood up from her seat, approached him.
When Eric turned his head, a woman with her cheeks flushed under the bright moonlight stood before him. His blue pupils shook uncontrollably.
“Uh, right now…….”
Before he could even start speaking properly, Aria straightened her back and approached my face.
Soon, her soft lips met Eric’s lips.
Aria gently closed her trembling eyes. Feeling his light breath completely.
Eric took a deep breath to suppress the instinct that gnawed at him once again. Barely managing to speak, Eric whispered softly.
“Why do you keep making things difficult for me? If this keeps up, I won’t know what to do with you either.
At his words, Aria’s eyes, with her cheeks flushed, trembled.
Eric slowly lowered his head and gently kissed the surface of Aria’s eye. To suppress the instinct that keeps stimulating him.
But the more they tried to pull away, the tighter Aria gripped those two arms.
Like an inescapable fate, their gazes became sharply entangled.
“Still not listening to a single word from the owner…”
The greedy gaze turned towards Aria’s lips. He lightly touched it. A ripe, luscious peach that makes me want to bite into it hard.
With a faint smile, Eric lightly leaned his upper body forward. Soon, their lips met.
Eric lightly bit her. Just that alone made Eric’s body heat up.
It seems like you’ve entered a series of asterisks.
Creak, creak, the old planks of the cabin make a loud noise. Inside, only the firewood Eric had lit was barely burning, swaying in the wind.
The bright moonlight streaming through the thin slats of the wooden boards was the only thing illuminating their swaying shadows.
Aria hugged Eric with her eyes closed. Eric’s bare torso was heated.
His heart started beating uncontrollably. She felt a happy tension in his embrace.
Eric’s breath brushed against her white, slender nape of the neck, exploring it carefully. Unfamiliar with the sensation, Aria trembled involuntarily.
What should I do? Without a moment’s hesitation, Eric’s saliva, driven by his desire, became increasingly thick.
As her clothes came off, Aria’s body was revealed more and more. The bones stood out due to being thin, and the skin was dull and lifeless. Aria was ashamed of her emaciated body.
But Eric cherished it as if it were a precious treasure. The stickiness of his foreign sensation made him straighten his back even more as it touched his skin.
Eric’s hand rested on her slender waist. In the midst of his gentle yet intense actions, Aria’s mind became hazy.
The counterpart of abstinence. But the only savior who understands each other’s loneliness. If we could constantly hold and explore each other, resolving everything. If only we could soak it all up.
Aria gasped and clutched his shoulder. She pushed against his solid torso with the unfamiliar pain, but the more she did, the more she couldn’t shake off Eric’s rough strength and had to cling on. Tears gradually welled up in her eyes as she stifled her moans.
Eric kept savoring her moist, red, and luscious lips. Their lips parted and rejoined several times, but they didn’t let go of each other.
Eric kept pushing and fitting his hardened lower part towards the only key that could quench all his thirst.
At that moment, Eric felt a thrill of relief as he quenched the thirst he had been holding back. The pain of his flesh being slightly torn disappeared, and strangely, his body felt lighter.
His light thighs exerted even more force.
“I want you like crazy.”
His subconscious, which smiled softly, pulled Aria tightly into his embrace.
Between their touching lips, Eric’s tongue, fully extended, stirred everything of Aria’s as if devouring it.
The sticky saliva, heavily entangled between the two, was continuously swallowed as it slid down their throats.
As his lips flowed deeply along her upper body, Aria gasped, her mind becoming cozy.
“Th-that’s enough…! Stop it…!”
Feeling guilty about the fleeting pleasure, she tried to push him away, but Eric helplessly swallowed her body that clung to him and secretly mocked her.
In the end, the irresistible pleasure and unfamiliar thrill completely took control of her.
As if to vomit out the congestion that had built up until now. No, until the heart that had been tightly hidden blooms with a red flower, hot and overflowing.
