I'm a Professional at Being a Scumbag [Quick Wear] - Chapter 3
Le Yi froze, her mind reeling for a long moment before she could regain her composure.
This little wolf cub is already trying to bite me.
She gently pushed Chu Qiao away, careful not to make her lose her balance.
“Qiaoqiao, look at me. I’m your sister.”
Chu Qiao gazed at her with hazy, pitiful eyes.
“I know, Sister.”
That’s exactly why I want to be close to you, to claim you as my own.
You’re surrounded by people with impure motives. It’s infuriating.
If only you were mine… if only you were mine…
Chu Qiao clung to Le Yi again, wrapping her arms around her waist with all her strength.
Le Yi struggled to breathe, her hand resting on the back of Chu Qiao’s head as she said softly, “Let go of me first, and I’ll take you home.”
The elevator was about to arrive, and if anyone saw them clinging to each other, who knew what kind of rumors might spread?
Chu Qiao acted as if she hadn’t heard, nuzzling Le Yi’s chin like a kitten.
Though she seemed bold, she didn’t dare truly defy Le Yi. Instead, she merely rubbed against her lightly, giving the impression of someone pretending to be drunk but not quite losing control.
Le Yi immediately saw through her act. Just as she was about to speak, the elevator doors dinged open.
A person stood at the doorway, seemingly a new neighbor who had just moved in.
Seeing their clingy behavior, the neighbor showed no surprise whatsoever and tactfully stepped aside.
This only made Le Yi feel even more embarrassed.
She leaned close to Chu Qiao’s ear and whispered, “Can you let go of Sister first, please?”
Chu Qiao let out a soft hum of protest, but whether it was the alcohol or not, her voice sounded soft and almost like she was pouting.
The neighbor glanced at them and, as if remembering something, chuckled.
Le Yi, who had no exhibitionist tendencies and didn’t want their private moment to become a spectacle, adopted a firmer tone.
“If you keep this up, Sister will get angry.”
Chu Qiao immediately released her grip, her eyes taking on an even more pitiful expression.
Le Yi turned her head away, refusing to be swayed by that look, and guided Chu Qiao toward their apartment.
The neighbor took another step back, even though the spacious hallway meant they weren’t even close to touching.
As Le Yi and Chu Qiao reached their door, the neighbor entered the elevator.
Suddenly remembering something, she pulled out her phone and snapped a close-up photo of her hand, sending it to the person pinned at the top of her WeChat contacts.
Thinking of getting my nails done.
After sending the message, she locked her phone with a smile and pressed the button for the first floor.
Le Yi brought the “drunkard” home, settled her on the sofa, and went to make some hangover soup.
“Don’t drink so much next time,” Le Yi said, turning to leave. Dealing with drunks was such a hassle.
Just as she turned, the Kitten, who had been lying with her eyes closed, grabbed her arm and pulled her into her embrace.
Le Yi landed on Chu Qiao’s lap, her bottom hitting hard against her thigh. She gasped softly, and the Kitten immediately sprang up, asking what was wrong.
Seeing Chu Qiao lift her up along with herself, Le Yi became even more certain that she wasn’t truly drunk.
Even if she was, it was only a mild buzz.
“Stop pretending to be drunk. Lie down properly. I’ll go make you some hangover soup.”
Chu Qiao held her tightly, burying her face in the crook of Le Yi’s neck and nuzzling against her skin like a small animal seeking comfort.
She desperately wanted to say, “I… love you, Sister.”
Chu Qiao nearly blurted out her feelings.
She swallowed the words, instead rubbing her chin fiercely against Le Yi’s jaw, seeking reassurance like a small beast.
She longed to confess that this longing, which had been growing from a mere seed to its current intensity, was driving her mad.
But she feared that confessing would upset her sister. She couldn’t bear to see her unhappy.
Over the years, Le Yi had sacrificed so much for her. Chu Qiao believed in her sister’s affection, but it seemed to be purely familial, devoid of romantic undertones.
To Le Yi, she was just a younger sister.
So, no matter how much Le Yi doted on her, it was merely the indulgence of a sister toward her younger sibling.
If she confessed her feelings, would Le Yi reject her?
At this thought, Chu Qiao shivered and hugged Le Yi even tighter.
“Don’t… don’t leave me…”
Hearing her slurred words, Le Yi sighed helplessly.
“You’re really drunk now, aren’t you? You’re starting to talk nonsense.”
Though she said this, Le Yi could sense Chu Qiao’s unease through her actions. Instead of pushing her away, she gently stroked her back.
The little wolf cub was now just like when Le Yi had first brought her home—sensitive, fragile, and putting on a brave face.
Yet something felt different.
Back then, despite her fear, Chu Qiao had pretended to be indifferent, baring her fangs and claws. Now, she was showing her vulnerable side, seeking comfort.
This Chu Qiao didn’t resemble a wolf cub; she was more like a little puppy—innocent and heartbreakingly endearing.
“Aww, who’s still asking for a hug from their big sister at this age? Oh, it’s my Qiaoqiao!”
Chu Qiao blushed deeply and buried her face further into Le Yi’s shoulder, protesting, “Sister, I’m an adult now.”
Le Yi chuckled softly. “In my heart, you’ll always be my little girl.”
Chu Qiao pouted in displeasure but remained silent.
After smoothing her hair for a while, Le Yi asked, “Feeling sober enough now?”
Chu Qiao quickly replied, “Not yet. I’m still far from sober.”
Le Yi pinched her ear playfully, like scolding a naughty child. “You just said you were an adult. Now you’re acting like a baby? Is that appropriate?”
“But didn’t you say I’ll always be a child in your heart, Sister?”
Le Yi hadn’t expected Chu Qiao to throw her own words back at her. She paused, then chuckled and patted Chu Qiao’s shoulder. “I’ll go make you some hangover soup.”
Chu Qiao, having been soothed for a while, gradually relaxed her grip, making it easy for Le Yi to slip free.
“Sister…” Chu Qiao reached out to grab Le Yi, but her hand closed on empty air.
Le Yi glanced back, deliberately widening her almond-shaped eyes, which tilted upward at the corners. They were wet and dewy, like a fawn’s, making it impossible not to feel tender.
“I’m going to make you some hangover soup. Don’t move around too much—you might fall.”
Le Yi ruffled Chu Qiao’s hair, her eyes filled with warmth and affection. Chu Qiao watched her through the strands of her hair, the burning desire in her heart softening slightly.
There’s no need to rush. Take it slow.
After all, she and Le Yi were together day and night. She’d find a way to make Le Yi fall for her.
Even if proximity gave her an advantage, she was determined to be the one Le Yi chose.
Le Yi had just lifted her leg to step forward when her phone rang. She asked Chu Qiao to hand it to her, but Chu Qiao, after feeling around for the phone and seeing the caller ID, hung up immediately.
“Who was that? Why did you hang up?” Le Yi asked.
Chu Qiao mumbled, “Zhu Qiong.”
If there was one person Chu Qiao had loathed since childhood, it was Zhu Qiong.
Every time Chu Qiao wanted to spend alone time with her sister, that woman would always pop up, monopolizing Le Yi’s attention.
At first, Chu Qiao didn’t understand, thinking it was simply a clash of personalities. Later, she realized the truth.
She hated Zhu Qiong for being a third wheel, especially since she harbored romantic feelings for Le Yi.
Le Yi reached for her phone. “Qiong Qiong is calling me. It might be about work. You silly child.”
Zhu Qiong had previously mentioned that a renowned director was casting for a film and suggested Le Yi could get a small role. Even as the fifth female lead, appearing in such a high-profile movie would be a hundred times better than struggling in low-budget web dramas.
Le Yi was tempted.
While live-streaming sales were lucrative, she still considered herself an actress at heart. An actress’s true calling was to act, to embody vivid, three-dimensional characters and bring them to life for the audience.
She hadn’t considered any of this before, focusing solely on making money. Now that she had some savings, her ambitions had soared.
She wanted to prove herself.
With Chu Qiao starting university, Le Yi had more free time. The timing was perfect—if not now, when?
Le Yi was eager to know if she’d get the role, but Chu Qiao interpreted her sister’s concern as blaming her for Zhu Qiong’s sake.
This thought sparked resentment in Chu Qiao’s heart. She held her phone high, out of Le Yi’s reach.
Le Yi reached for it, her leg catching on the sofa corner, causing her to tumble onto Chu Qiao.
Chu Qiao’s heart skipped a beat. Instinctively, she reached out to steady Le Yi, who seized the opportunity to snatch the phone. Instead of getting up, Le Yi immediately dialed Zhu Qiong’s number.
Chu Qiao lowered her gaze, her eyes darkening. Her throat bobbed as if she were desperately suppressing something.
The moment the call connected, Chu Qiao’s lips sealed over Le Yi’s, stifling all but a faint sound.
“Le Yi, about what I told you earlier…”
Le Yi only heard half the sentence before Chu Qiao flung the phone away. She glared at Chu Qiao and shoved her off.
Chu Qiao pressed Le Yi against her chest, covering her eyes with one hand.
She had searched online for tutorials that said kissing should be done with eyes closed.
The moment Le Yi’s eyes were covered, Chu Qiao closed her own. Deprived of sight, she found herself able to focus more intently on the exquisite sensations.
Le Yi’s lip had already been bitten raw by the impetuous young wolf cub, and now the cub was attacking her tongue.
Despite Le Yi’s desperate attempts to keep her teeth clenched, she couldn’t hold out. The cub quickly breached her defenses and slipped inside.
Their lips and tongues tangled, Le Yi could feel Chu Qiao’s nervousness and shyness, as if she were treating her like a lab rat.
Experimenting, exploring.
Strangely, Le Yi didn’t hate the feeling. In fact, she found herself gradually sinking into it.
It wasn’t until Chu Qiao’s hand slipped under her hem and began caressing her back that Le Yi snapped back to reality.
This is the child I raised! How could she be so beastly?!
Le Yi bit Chu Qiao, who yelped in pain and stopped moving, looking at her with a hurt expression.
Le Yi sat up abruptly, feigning composure, and said sternly, “Go back to your room and sleep. You’re drunk.”
Chu Qiao, thinking Le Yi was angry, grabbed her hand and refused to let go.
“Sister, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. I just…”
I just love you so much, Sister.
I really, really love you.
Le Yi wasn’t truly angry. The girl was going through puberty, and curiosity about these things was normal. She needed to provide proper guidance.
“Qiaoqiao, go get some sleep. We’ll talk about this tomorrow.”
Le Yi’s hair was disheveled, her hem was rolled up, her cheeks flushed crimson, and her lips were slightly swollen. Chu Qiao glanced at her and her blood instantly began to boil.
She gripped Le Yi’s hand even tighter, pleading, “Sister, please give me what I want. I’m begging you.”
Le Yi’s heart trembled in fear as she shook off Chu Qiao’s hand. “What nonsense are you talking about?!”
[ Host, what are you doing? ] the System suddenly appeared.
“What’s it to you?” Le Yi retorted.
……Don’t be so rebellious! Do you remember what your mission is?
“To play the scum gong, of course.”
Scum gong, scum gong! How can you be a scum gong if you don’t attack?
This time, Le Yi was speechless. She simply couldn’t bring herself to lay a hand on the child she had raised.
Time to slip away!
Seeing Le Yi about to leave, Chu Qiao grabbed her around the waist, pleading pitifully, on the verge of tears.
“Sister, don’t go~”
“I’ll make you happy. I’ve researched all sorts of techniques and read books about it. I promise I won’t make you uncomfortable.”
“Look, I even trimmed my nails.”
Chu Qiao held out her hand to Le Yi. Her fingers were slender and elegant, the tips rounded and tinged with a delicate pink, utterly beautiful.
Is this little wolf cub trying to top me?
Le Yi’s slow-processing brain finally caught up, and she immediately devised a countermeasure.
“It’s no use saying any more. We’re both bottoms.”
Chu Qiao froze for a moment, then grabbed Le Yi’s hand and shoved it down her own collar. “I can be the bottom. As long as Sister is happy, I’ll do anything you want.”
