I'm a Professional at Being a Scumbag [Quick Wear] - Chapter 26.1
Le Yi could hear the restrained breathing beside her, and the hands around her waist gripped tightly, though she could feel their slight tremors.
Their eyes met. Le Yi allowed herself to be held captive by those intense, possessive eyes, surrendering first.
“Qiaoqiao.”
Chu Qiao’s eyes flickered momentarily before darkening further.
“I thought Sister had forgotten about me long ago.”
Her face twisted in self-ridicule, her gaze openly contemptuous—not toward Le Yi, but toward herself.
She had always been the one abandoned.
To Chu Qiao, Le Yi represented salvation and light. But to Le Yi, she was merely a disposable toy: something to play with when she felt like it, to discard when she lost interest, and to move on to new amusements.
“Qiaoqiao, let go of me first. Let’s talk properly.”
After so long apart, Le Yi had many things she wanted to say. But facing the now-mature, commanding figure before her, she found herself momentarily speechless.
Instead of releasing her, Chu Qiao’s grip tightened, pulling her closer.
“What are you afraid of? After all these years, didn’t you ever imagine this day would come?”
Le Yi hadn’t even considered this possibility. After all, Chu Qiao had obediently focused on her career, not even sending a message.
She’d thought the little wolf pup had finally let go of her, but it seemed…
“Qiaoqiao, you…”
Chu Qiao seemed to know what Le Yi wanted to say and scoffed softly.
“Yes, I still like you. Are you pleased?”
Le Yi wanted to say no, but her lips were captured in a kiss. Her lips, still tender from earlier biting and nibbling, throbbed with pain. She gasped, and the fiercely clinging person instantly gentled their touch.
Their lips remained pressed together, one slowly tracing the other’s shape with a tender suck, like an animal licking a wound.
This impossibly gentle kiss left Le Yi dizzy. Realizing she shouldn’t let this continue, she pushed at Chu Qiao. Chu Qiao’s eyes snapped open, dark and intense.
Rejecting her again!
Or perhaps she’d never accepted her in the first place, and now the rejection was simply more forceful.
Friendly and sociable with others, but cold and distant with her.
Le Yi, you’re a master at double standards.
Chu Qiao released her, staring with dark, intense eyes, as if contemplating how to dismantle her.
Under that piercing gaze, a chill ran down Le Yi’s spine, and she instinctively shrank back.
Chu Qiao leaned her lips close to Le Yi’s ear, her voice like a demon’s whisper: “Does Sister like the proprietress?”
Le Yi shuddered at the heat of her breath against her ear, but the arm around her waist tightened, immobilizing her.
“We’re just friends.”
“Oh? Is that so?”
Friends? You’re smiling so flirtatiously. Do you think I’m a child?
Chu Qiao bit her ear, her voice thin as mist: “Sister, I’m no longer a child.”
Le Yi was momentarily stunned. Of course she knew Chu Qiao had grown up. More than that, she had grown more beautiful than she’d ever imagined.
Though she’d only caught a fleeting glimpse, her figure was tall and willowy, her proportions the stuff of envy. Coupled with that strikingly beautiful face, sharp as a killer’s weapon, she was invincible.
A single wave of her hand would bring hordes of admirers rushing to her feet.
Only now did Le Yi understand why people kept asking Chu Qiao for her WeChat. If she herself had encountered such a beautiful girl, she wouldn’t have been able to resist either.
“Sister seems to have a very… eventful life here,” Chu Qiao said, her eyes darkening as she noticed the marks on Le Yi’s neck.
Le Yi felt a sharp pain in her neck. She gasped, grabbing Chu Qiao by the collar and yanking her upright.
That little brat had bitten down hard—she’d definitely drawn blood.
Chu Qiao acted as if she hadn’t noticed, letting Le Yi tug at her collar as she focused on what she was doing.
She pierced her skin with her canine teeth, tasting the faint metallic tang of blood. She rolled the blood into her mouth with her tongue and swallowed it like a child drinking milk.
This process went on for a long time, until Le Yi no longer had the strength to resist. Her hands slid down to Chu Qiao’s back, forming an embrace.
It’s been a really long time. The little brat has changed.
Her shoulders were wider than before, but her body still seemed thin. Her shoulder blades protruded like newly sprouted wings.
Chu Qiao gnawed at the soft flesh until the marks were completely covered, then released it with satisfaction.
“Who have you been hanging out with, Sister? The Proprietress? Or someone I don’t know?”
Over the years, she had deliberately avoided investigating Le Yi’s activities, as if living in two separate worlds. Though difficult, she had always remembered Le Yi’s words: she wanted to become a capable, independent person.
Before coming today, she couldn’t resist a quick investigation and discovered that Le Yi was living better than she had imagined.
She got along well with her neighbors, often visiting the bubble tea shop near her home, and had a close relationship with the Proprietress.
The proprietress of the bubble tea shop was a thirty-year-old woman with a shapely figure, striking features, and a mature elegance. Her expressive eyes radiated charm, making her instantly likable.
The shop was always bustling with customers, many of whom came specifically for her. Le Yi, in particular, visited daily, clearly smitten.
Chu Qiao felt like a fool. After suppressing her feelings for four years, she’d fallen into someone else’s embrace in the blink of an eye. This absolutely couldn’t happen. Her Sister could only bloom in her own hands.
Leaning against Le Yi’s shoulder, Chu Qiao suddenly let out a soft laugh. Le Yi turned to look down at her, only to find her eyes closed.
“Sister, you really do have a knack for driving people mad, don’t you?”
Her tone was almost venomous. Before Le Yi could respond, Chu Qiao gripped the back of her neck and pressed her down onto the sofa.
Le Yi’s face was buried in the cushions, suffocating. She reached out to grab Chu Qiao, but the latter effortlessly yanked off her jacket.
Le Yi turned her head sideways, gasping for air. Her face flushed crimson from asphyxiation, her chest heaving violently. The sight made Chu Qiao’s gaze grow increasingly dark.
“After all these years, is this how you treat me upon our reunion?”
Le Yi’s voice softened, tinged with regret, as if scolding a disobedient child.
Chu Qiao chuckled again, her voice icy. Without seeing her, Le Yi could imagine the expression on her face.
“Sister, I didn’t let you out just to attract a swarm of admirers.”
Le Yi thought to herself, I’ve lived like a nun these past few years, avoiding worldly pleasures. How am I attracting admirers?
“I think you’re misunderstanding something. Let’s talk this through…”
Before she could finish, Le Yi received a forceful strike. For someone who had practiced abstinence for so long, the sudden physical contact was unbearably intense.
Chu Qiao was momentarily stunned. After a long pause, she regained her composure, her gaze becoming complex as she stared at Le Yi.
The impact filled Le Yi’s eyes with tears. When Chu Qiao looked at her, she buried her face in the sofa cushions, refusing to let her see her vulnerable, tearful state.
It wasn’t just the pain; it was a mix of hurt and humiliation. Why is she treating me like this after such a long reunion? It seems that over the years, her temper has grown as sharp as her age.
Chu Qiao’s heart seemed scalded by Le Yi’s tears, warming slightly but also aching with a thousand tiny stabs.
“Sister, have you fallen in love with someone else?”
Le Yi didn’t want to answer, but Chu Qiao’s voice carried a pleading, almost broken quality.
Remembering how Le Yi had always doted on her like a lost puppy, Chu Qiao’s heart softened despite herself.
“No,” she mumbled.
Chu Qiao’s eyes brightened as she leaned down to kiss the back of Le Yi’s neck and ear.
“Don’t fall for anyone else. Even if you don’t feel the same way about me, don’t fall for anyone else.”
Le Yi had thought Chu Qiao was going to stop, but when she relaxed, Chu Qiao became even more insistent.
Tears streamed down her face, soaking the sofa cushions. It had been so long since she’d experienced this feeling that she felt like she was suffocating.
She turned her face away to gasp for air, but Chu Qiao immediately leaned in, capturing her lips in a kiss.
This was a truly passionate and lingering kiss, the kind that conveyed the longing of a reunion after a long separation. Le Yi could feel the depth of Chu Qiao’s affection, but within it lurked something else—possessiveness, obsession.
Chu Qiao kissed Le Yi’s slightly swollen lips, licking the wound she had bitten open. Then she pried open Le Yi’s lips, intertwining their tongues in a gentle exchange of breath.
Le Yi loved this impossibly tender kiss. She willingly surrendered to it, letting Chu Qiao kiss her until she was breathless, then replenishing her air so the kiss could continue.
Lost in the kiss, Le Yi forgot she was still in danger.
Only when the air ran out did Chu Qiao finally release her slightly, their lips brushing in a lingering afterglow, as if the kiss still continued.
Le Yi gazed at her through hazy eyes, noticing the crimson at the corners of Chu Qiao’s eyes and the red mole beneath her left eye, now dark as blood.
Both of them were breathing heavily, their breaths mingling in another kind of exchange.
Chu Qiao gazed into Le Yi’s teary, peach-blossom eyes, her heartbeat growing increasingly erratic, like a fawn kicking wildly inside her chest, each thump clear and audible.
She grabbed Le Yi’s arm, pulling her into her embrace, and gripped her by the neck. “Sister,” she asked, “will you run away again?”
Forced to look sideways at her, Le Yi’s slightly narrowed phoenix eyes couldn’t hide their sickly possessiveness.
“No.”
So the child has been spoiled after all, Chu Qiao thought. I thought she’d grow into a fierce, decisive heroine, but instead she’s become a twisted, obsessive little wolf pup.
Satisfied by her answer, Chu Qiao sighed. “Good. A good girl deserves a reward.”
Le Yi flinched at the sudden words, then bit her lip, gazing at Chu Qiao with tear-filled eyes.
This pleading look didn’t soften Chu Qiao’s heart; instead, it only further aroused her.
Her lips seemed to curve into a smile, yet it wasn’t a smile at all. It was the expression of someone famished, seeing a grand meal before them, desperate to devour the delicacy.
The single bite mark on Le Yi’s neck, meant to cover up earlier marks, only fueled Chu Qiao’s growing dissatisfaction. How could there be only one?
Le Yi felt a sharp pain at her neck and realized she had been bitten again.
Why does she keep biting my neck? It’s not like it’s some rare delicacy.
She was wrong. For Chu Qiao, it truly was.
With a two-pronged assault, Le Yi quickly lost focus, her eyes unfocused as she lay weakly in Chu Qiao’s arms.
Chu Qiao acted as if she had a skin hunger, not missing a single opportunity to press against Le Yi. Even while Le Yi remained in a dazed state, she continued to nuzzle and kiss her cheeks and ears.
After a long while, Le Yi finally regained her senses and turned to look at Chu Qiao. Chu Qiao stopped her affectionate movements and met her gaze, deliberately suppressing the emotion in her eyes.
“Satisfied?” Le Yi rasped.
Chu Qiao’s chest pressed against her back, a position that usually felt so secure to Le Yi.
But not now. Chu Qiao was restless, and Le Yi felt like a piece of meat that could be devoured by a ravenous wolf at any moment.
Chu Qiao buried her face in the side of her neck and replied, “No. It’s too early.”
Those four simple words revealed her intentions. Before Le Yi could react, she had already begun a new exploration.
A delicate pink blush suffused Le Yi’s fair skin, as if she’d been dusted with powder. Fine beads of sweat glistened on her, crystalline and translucent under the lamplight, as fragile as a soap bubble.
She knelt on the sofa, her long legs too long to be contained by its cushions, the other half dangling over the edge, swaying gently.
Worried she might be tired, Chu Qiao pulled Le Yi into her arms, settling her facing her. Le Yi, lost in a daze, smiled faintly when she saw Chu Qiao’s face, then playfully nipped at her lips.
“You’ve grown up.”
Chu Qiao froze as if struck by lightning, rigid and stunned. After a long moment, she returned the kiss with fierce possessiveness.
Even after all these years, she still couldn’t resist Le Yi’s gentle charm. The slightest hint of tenderness from her, and Chu Qiao felt compelled to offer her heart.
Le Yi wasn’t deliberately trying to please her; it was purely impulsive. Finding the little wolf pup before her lovely, she simply kissed her without any deeper meaning.
Yet now, fully grown, she seemed even sharper and more defined than at eighteen—her features more angular, her gaze sharper, her aura more commanding.
And she seemed taller than before. Kneeling half on the sofa, Chu Qiao now stood slightly above her.
“Qiaoqiao,” she said, her voice even hoarser than before.
Chu Qiao didn’t stop, merely murmuring a soft “mm” in acknowledgment.
Le Yi took hold of the hand Chu Qiao had placed on her waist. “Do you have a lot of people chasing after you?”
Chu Qiao’s lips curled into a smile as she remembered something. “Yes, Sister, didn’t you know? So many people are trying to add me on WeChat.”
Le Yi wanted to tell her not to keep passing her suitors off to her, but she couldn’t bring herself to say it.
“What about you and the proprietress of the milk tea shop? Does she like you?”
As women, she couldn’t miss the way the proprietress looked at Le Yi.
Le Yi claimed she didn’t like her, but the two clearly laughed and chatted as if they were reciprocally interested.
Chu Qiao pressed her fingers against Le Yi’s throat, silencing her voice in her throat.
“Sister, what happens if you’re reciprocally interested? Are you going to abandon me again?”
Le Yi had no idea what she was talking about. What reciprocal interest? She was interested in who?
Chu Qiao offered no explanation, lost in her own paranoid fantasies, her eyes darkening with suspicion and malice.
