- Chapter 26 - Magic Circulation
Her breath caught from the shock, Liliana gasped, slowly exhaling. The room had returned to silence, yet inside her it felt like a storm still raged.
“Liliana, are you alright?”
She managed a nod, though the storm had not subsided.
“Just a little more…”
“Alright. I’ll wait until you’re calm.”
As the waves settled, Liliana gradually accepted Leivis’s magic. Taking it all in, she finally felt her body return to herself.
“…Lord Leivis, you’re a little cruel!”
“Forgive me. It’s my first time guiding a woman. My control is clumsy. Did you dislike it?”
“No…”
She smiled faintly, tracing his magic gently. His shoulders trembled slightly.
“Please, teach me more.”
It was a strange feeling. As if her instincts cried out, as if under a spell.
If not for their joined hands, she might have clung to him outright.
“Your depths are vast and a little greedy. Liliana, now try moving it yourself.”
Confused, she hesitated. He squeezed her hand lightly.
“Send it to me. If it’s hard to imagine, move your body too. I’ll support you.”
She nodded, focusing on the mingled magic within them, trying to move it.
“…Nn…”
It felt stuck, refusing to obey.
Then his hand guided hers, helping the flow.
Following that movement, she drew up the magic pooled deep inside. Unable to grasp it by sensation alone, her hips shifted unconsciously. She lifted it, returning it to his hand.
It was absorbed smoothly, as if drawn in.
“Well done. Keep it up.”
His praise delighted her. Each return brought more magic flowing back, and she realized she was happy simply to touch him through magic.
“Is it painful?”
“No.”
The joy of learning grew. She wanted more.
“…It’s changing…”
His voice carried thought, tinged with heat. She was glad he was pleased, yet jealous he seemed to think of something else.
Still, the rhythm of his magic continued, forcing her to focus on circulation.
As she grew absorbed, a strange feeling rose. Not painful, but frustrating.
(What is this…?)
Her breath quickened, a restless sensation swelling.
“Ah…”
A sound escaped. His magic kept flowing.
—Without realizing, she was being cornered.
She wanted to flee, but he never released her hand. His golden eyes watched, sending magic at her pace.
So, she repeated: receive, turn, return.
Gradually, they felt like one. As if their bodies dissolved, merging in the sea.
Nothing hidden, everything exposed.
“…Lord Leivis, don’t look at me!”
“Why not?”
Blushing, she turned away.
“…It’s embarrassing…”
As if he saw her very soul.
“Liliana. Right now, you are like the goddess of night.”
His grip tightened.
“I want to keep watching you like this, closest of all.”
Her heart leapt. Deep inside, their mingled magic resonated.
He caught his breath, exhaled.
“Amazing! I’ve never felt this before.”
Was he feeling the same? If so, she was glad.
She tried to draw more deeply, and more magic poured in. She rejoiced—until she met his eyes.
His golden gaze, so intense, frightened her slightly.
“Liliana, continue.”
She shook her head.
“Then I’ll move it.”
He pulled her close, his magic sinking deeper.
“Wait! Please…”
Her plea was futile. His magic surged faster, stronger, like a storm. She struggled to keep up.
It carved into her, stirred her, poured in again. Pulsing endlessly, threatening to overflow.
“Ah—ahh—”
Their magic resonated, bursting.
Heat raced from her core to her head, her fingertips. She clung desperately to his hand, afraid she’d be swept away.
—The storm ceased.
Her body slackened, dizziness overtook her.
“…Let’s stop here for today.”
“Thank you…”
She managed a reply. He released her fingers.
(Ah…)
—She didn’t want to let go.
Impulse seized her. She toppled forward, ending up pressing him down.
His broad chest filled her vision. Looking up, his golden eyes stared in surprise.
(Ah—)
—Thump.
Her heart pounded. His handsome face, shadowed eyes, so close.
A wild impulse surged.
—She wanted to devour him.
“F-forgive me!”
She scrambled off him.
(What have I done?)
She tried to leave, but her body failed. Her legs trembled, numb.
“Rest here for now.”
His calm voice fell, and he draped a sheet over her.
“Yes…”
She curled beneath it.
—She couldn’t trust herself. Her body had moved on its own, driven by impulse.
Her whole being craved him. She had never felt such before. It was maddening.
(Would Lord Leivis tell me what to do…? No, that would be too selfish…)
It was her body—she mustn’t rely on him. He already worried enough, guiding her magic.
—She wanted to touch him.
—She wanted him to touch her.
She wanted to hold his hand.
Such feelings overflowed.
Liliana endured, sinking into the bed, closing her eyes.
Her body throbbed warmly. His magic still pulsed inside her.
