I Have Everything They Like - Chapter 2
You Tao seemed oblivious to being the center of attention. Hearing the teaclip fall, she leaned down first, retrieving it before Jing Sinian could react.
The woman’s long, crimson dress had originally draped over the side of the chair, revealing only the flat, butterfly-bow-style slippers. But as Jing Sinian also moved, the hem of her skirt billowed like a wave, briefly exposing a patch of ankle skin before swiftly concealing it again.
“Thank you.”
Jing Sinian took the teaclip she’d knocked over from her hand, her smile still gentle. From her hairstyle to her outfit, her unhurried tone of voice, and even the faint floral perfume she wore, every detail radiated her tender, water-like nature.
You Tao returned her smile.
But there was something deeper in her eyes.
I think I saw a pattern on Teacher Jing’s ankle… Damn, the live stream doesn’t have a replay!
Ahhh, sister, use your long legs to wrap around me!
The viewers in the live stream hadn’t caught the fleeting detail, but You Tao saw it clearly: a tattoo on Jing Sinian’s ankle.
Half of an eerily colored butterfly wing, pierced through by a thicket of thorns.
This Teacher Jing doesn’t seem as innocent as he appears.
The lingering sweetness of Jin Jun Mei’s wine still lingered on his lips and tongue. When he inhaled, the floral notes of the aftertaste wafted through his nostrils, creating a rich and complex aroma. You Tao suppressed her thoughts and turned to answer Shen Mingrui’s question as if nothing had happened, “I wouldn’t call it ‘seeking your guidance.’ If you don’t mind, I’d be happy to visit you tonight.”
Shen Mingrui’s face lit up instantly. The superstar lived up to her name; even with her utterly charming dimples, her allure remained undiminished, like a peony in full bloom, its stamens unfurling in radiant splendor.
Hearing You Tao’s response, Huo Lang finally grew bored of the show. Whether she was satisfied with the outcome was unclear, but she averted her gaze and opportunely refilled Jing Sinian’s teacup.
Fu Jin Yan withdrew his gaze, his long, straight lashes concealing his deep-set eyes. As Huo Lang perfunctorily tilted the teapot, he casually blocked the cup with his hand:
“No need. It’s getting late. I should go upstairs to wash up and get ready for bed.”
After speaking, she paused to see if anyone objected. When none did, she rose from the table, leaving only the cooling teacup behind.
Huo Lang hadn’t really wanted to pour her tea anyway. Before Doctor Fu’s figure had even left the group’s line of sight, she slammed the teapot onto the table and glanced at her watch:
“Sleeping so early? Are you sure your profession isn’t traditional Chinese medicine?”
Huo Duidui, just behave yourself!
Thinking about this second-generation rich girl’s flippant demeanor, I’m torn about shipping her with Teacher Jing…
If it were anyone else, I’d just call Doctor Fu clueless. But given her dazzlingly impressive resume and that aloof, abstinent aura… Sister, you’re living your best life! I just want to color you in with the ugliest human desires and passions, hehehehehe!
The other guests didn’t linger in the tea room for long.
For one, Shen Mingrui, who arrived late, still had her luggage with her, and they hadn’t even unpacked their own rooms. Plus, they had to film their “heart-fluttering” videos for the show that day and send their “heart-fluttering” texts by 10 PM. With so much to do and not everyone present, the gathering naturally broke up quickly.
As it turned out, Shen Mingrui was assigned to the same room as Jing Sinian, which was rather unfortunate. Especially after You Tao helped her move the remaining luggage from the villa entrance into the elevator and up to the room. Soon after, all the guests except Fu Jin Yan found themselves gathered in that room again, albeit in a different context.
So you’ve learned to exclude Doctor Fu this time, huh? Hahaha!
I get it! The initial pairings are already set: one single person, the second-generation rich girl with the obedient girl, the big star with the 18th-tier actor… Aren’t you all shipping them yet?!
Even though the villa’s rooms were exceptionally spacious, with more than enough space to comfortably accommodate two 2.2-meter beds and all the soft furnishings and decor, Huo Lang’s teasing remark—”No worries, we’ll just chat among ourselves and not interfere with each other”—and Jing Sinian’s flustered, somewhat shy demeanor made the others feel like they were intruding.
Shen Mingrui rubbed her nose. Before You Tao could start packing for her, she quickly intervened, “How about I send you the script first? I completely forgot how much stuff I brought while we were chatting. Once you’ve read it, we can set a time for you to tutor me alone?”
“Sure, I’m always available if you need me.”
You Tao’s expression remained unreadable as she left with her usual composure.
Comment: For those shipping Shen Mingrui and You Tao, watch the preview! The idol is just doing her job, acting casually with company money. Real romance costs extra. Poor #3 got led on for nothing!
Comment: #3 is definitely the most pathetic one on the show so far.
Unaware of how much sympathy she had just garnered after visiting Jing Sinian and Shen Mingrui’s room, You Tao returned to find Fu Jin Yan sitting silently on the window sofa, staring at his phone on the shelf.
The footsteps of the newcomer instinctively softened, afraid of disturbing Doctor Fu’s video recording. But before she had taken a few steps, her peripheral vision caught Fu Jin Yan lifting the thin gauze glove, revealing a flawless hand with sharply defined, jade-like knuckles, as if meticulously carved. He tapped the phone screen, then removed it and set it aside.
He rose and walked toward You Tao, nodding in greeting. After brushing past her, he entered the restroom, and soon the sound of running water could be heard.
When he emerged again, the thin gauze glove had once more concealed all the beauty.
At this point, the livestream had split into two rooms. Most of the viewers flocked to the more crowded and popular room of Jing Sinian and Shen Mingrui, while the small group of hand fetishists who had stayed here went wild in the comments, begging Doctor Fu to take pity and remove his glove.
Of course, Fu Jin Yan couldn’t see these messages. Noticing You Tao retrieving clothes from the wardrobe and preparing to wash up, he suddenly spoke:
“Wait a moment. The bathroom is still a bit damp.”
As a germaphobe, Doctor Fu couldn’t stand the steam and lingering moisture on the bathroom walls and floor after washing up, and hadn’t had time to clean it up. So he instinctively reminded his roommate.
The other person simply smiled and replied, “It’s fine, I don’t mind. I’ll make sure to clean the bathroom thoroughly and turn on the ventilation fan after I’m done.”
You Tao sat down at the white vanity, placing her clean clothes beside her. She began removing her hair ornaments, looking somewhat drowsy. Her fingers moved lazily, and she accidentally pulled out a light-colored hair, letting out a soft gasp.
But her patience lasted only a few seconds. Since the hair ornaments were at the back of her head, beyond the mirror’s reach, You Tao’s movements became slightly rougher. A faint sound escaped her nostrils involuntarily:
“Mmm.”
She was the one being aggressive, yet she was also the one feeling wronged.
Fu Jin Yan had already finished washing up and completed his video recording task. He was now sitting by the window where he had filmed the video, reading a book in a foreign language. At first, he only glanced indifferently in her direction when he heard the noise. When he noticed that she hadn’t moved after five or six minutes, he calmly put down his book and asked, “Need help?”
The person at the vanity looked as if they had been granted a great favor. She lowered her arm, which was starting to ache, and turned around. Though smiling, her eyes were slightly misty. “Could you?”
Fu Jin Yan didn’t answer. He rose and walked toward her.
Thank God Fu Jin Yan still has a shred of humanity left. I couldn’t bear to watch a beautiful woman struggle with her hair accessory any longer.
Who’s covering their bald head and counting the hair You Tao pulled out? It’s me!
Though the alcohol had evaporated quickly, when Doctor Fu stood behind her, You Tao still felt the scent fill her nostrils.
She obediently lowered her head, revealing her tangled and loose hairstyle, along with the graceful curve of her swan-like neck.
Like a white peach.
The image flashed through Fu Jin Yan’s mind before he dismissed it. The doctor worked gently and swiftly, separating the hair accessory from You Tao’s fine hair in just a few movements. However, the accessory proved stubborn. Just as he was about to remove it, a thread from the edge snagged on his glove.
Doctor Fu, accustomed to the clean, non-stick nature of rubber gloves, frowned slightly.
Still expressionless, he carefully removed the tangled accessory and set it aside. You Tao, who had been dozing with heavy eyelids, opened her eyes at the movement and genuinely praised him:
“Wow, Doctor Fu, you’re so fast!”
After a pause, she turned back to look at him with envious eyes. “Your fingers are so long and look so nimble.”
How long? Elaborate.
I don’t believe you unless you let her take off her gloves so I can see for myself.
Unfortunately, Fu Jin Yan remained unmoved by her praise. After helping, he turned to resume his work. Just as the sound of running water began in the bathroom, someone knocked on the door.
It was a production crew member.
“Doctor Fu, you didn’t say a single word during the ‘Heartbeat Video’ recording. We need to edit this part later, so would you consider re-recording it?”
“How do you want me to record it?” Fu Jin Yan asked coldly.
“For example, mention someone you just met today, something that interests you, or something unexpected that happened. Anything would work,” the crew member suggested cautiously.
“No.”
They stared at each other in silence for a long moment before the crew member retreated, tactfully closing the door. He made one last attempt: “If anything comes up later, could you just talk a little more during the recording, okay?”
Fu Jin Yan’s silent gaze was enough to ensure the door closed and peace was restored.
But it wasn’t long before.
Click.
The person by the window looked up with a hint of annoyance at being disturbed. But when she turned, she saw the person in the bathroom, hair still damp, looking even more pathetic than when she was struggling with the hair accessory earlier. The person called out to her cautiously:
“Doctor Fu.”
Fu Jin Yan looked at her calmly, assuming his new roommate needed his help with something. To his surprise, she blurted out, “I accidentally knocked over your clothes while hanging them up earlier… but don’t worry! I’ve already washed them for you!”
The person by the window fell silent for a long moment before walking toward her again. The camera didn’t follow into the bathroom, but it inadvertently captured the piece of fabric You Tao was holding up.
It was a pure white bra with only minimal embellishments.
The production team quickly blurred it out.
About some ineffective blurring.
Wait, so the most censored live stream turned out to be from the “ascetic” and the “18th-tier” celebrity? Did I read that right?
As we all know, the cracking of an iceberg often begins with the smallest details –
Whether the iceberg would crack or not, Fu Jin Yan didn’t know. But right now, he could smell the cheap, artificial peach scent of body wash filling the bathroom.
The scent clung to her clothes as she carefully handed them to him, making her pure white garments seem… even dirtier.
