I Confessed to the Wrong Enigma, Then Got Pregnant as a Top Alpha [Transmigration] - Chapter 5
Chapter 5
The moment Qi Ran drew close, Jiang Siheng once again smelled that scent of lilies mixed with medicinal herbs coming from him.
Likely due to the alcohol, the young Alpha was unable to properly control his pheromones, which coiled around Jiang Siheng wildly and without restraint.
Yet, it wasn’t unpleasant; it wasn’t even threatening.
If Jiang Siheng wanted to, he could sweep away these pheromones—which were attempting to leave a mark on him in a matter of minutes.
“Are you sure the person standing in front of you is your boyfriend?”
Jiang Siheng didn’t reach out. He let the youth lightly support himself on his shoulders, head slightly lowered, revealing pink earlobes.
Qi Ran gave a chuckle and lightly pushed Jiang Siheng’s shoulder. Raising his misty, jet-black eyes, he smiled with peculiar eccentricity: “Aren’t you my boyfriend? The boyfriend I picked up for free.”
As he spoke, his brows knit together. He uncomfortably tugged at his collar, revealing a fair and elegant collarbone. Jiang Siheng noticed a small, bright red mole on his collarbone; his gaze darkened as he looked away.
“You’re drunk.”
Qi Ran shook his head and let out a disgruntled, whiny hum: “So hot…”
As he spoke, he leaned toward Jiang Siheng, nuzzling against the crook of his neck.
The hot air he exhaled hit the other man’s jaw directly.
For a moment, the atmosphere became somewhat ambiguous.
Jiang Siheng placed his large hand on Qi Ran’s face and pushed his head away: “If you’re drunk, go home.”
With a pair of large hands suddenly on his face, Qi Ran began to struggle uncomfortably. Amidst the movement, his scorching red lips brushed across Jiang Siheng’s palm hot, soft, and slightly damp.
This caused Jiang Siheng to instinctively release his hand, his palm twitching slightly.
Qi Ran, however, reached out to lick his reddened thin lips in a daze, frowning and whimpering: “Hot, uncomfortable.”
He looked pitiful and aggrieved.
He truly felt very hot, as if there were a ball of fire inside him, desperately needing to find a cool place to rub against.
Now that the alcohol had kicked in, his head was dizzy and heavy; instinct completely overrode reason.
He only knew that the person standing in front of him smelled wonderful—fragrant and refreshing. Leaning against him provided a cool sensation that he craved intensely.
Grabbing Jiang Siheng’s hand, he couldn’t help but press himself against the man.
Simply pressing wasn’t enough; like a puppy, he insisted on moving toward the man’s neck to sniff and nuzzle.
Like a clingy spirit.
Jiang Siheng pinned the restless youth into his arms, leaning against the toilet cubicle, and reached for his phone.
Someone happened to walk in from outside. Seeing the two entangled together, they froze instantly. The next second, they met Jiang Siheng’s dark, heavy gaze. With a shudder, they dropped a sentence: “Sorry to disturb you,” and fled in a hurry.
The pheromones on Qi Ran gradually became more intense, and his face grew even redder.
A strange look appeared in Jiang Siheng’s eyes as he sensed the anomaly. Looking down at the youth who was still restless in his arms, he quickly pressed the call button: “Bring the car to the back door and wait for me.”
As the words fell, Jiang Siheng picked Qi Ran up and left the restroom.
After getting into the car, he snapped open the emergency kit stored inside, pulled out a Type-A inhibitor, and injected it into the gland at the back of Qi Ran’s neck.
The sudden sharp pain caused the youth, who originally had no strength, to struggle for a moment, followed by a sobbing whimper: “It hurts…”
Because of the pain, his muddled brain cleared for an instant. Qi Ran looked at Jiang Siheng, who had tossed the empty inhibitor aside: “Why did you stab me!”
His voice trembled, sounding like he was acting spoiled utterly aggrieved.
Jiang Siheng didn’t look at him, but his cold voice drifted over: “Your rut has arrived.”
Qi Ran blinked. What was a “rut”?
How could he have such a thing?
“You did it on purpose. You know the person I wanted to confess to today wasn’t you, so you used a needle on me on purpose, right? How can you be so mean… Ugh… My stomach feels bad… I want to throw up.”
As Qi Ran spoke, he reached out to open the car door.
The driver was startled. Before he could speak, the restless person was grabbed back by Jiang Siheng: “Don’t move, be good”
Before he could finish, Qi Ran grabbed his clothes and, without standing on ceremony, threw up. Being pulled and shaken by Jiang Siheng made him even dizzier; he couldn’t hold it back at all.
The car interior was instantly filled with the sour smell of alcohol.
The driver in front broke into a cold sweat.
He had been driving for Jiang Siheng for many years. Jiang Siheng had a germophobia (cleanliness obsession). For a person with a germophobia to vomit all over his body…
He didn’t dare think further, merely holding his breath instinctively. If he, a Beta, couldn’t stand the smell, an Alpha like Jiang Siheng would surely go crazy.
However, at this moment, Jiang Siheng’s shock was greater than his reaction.
In his twenty-plus years of experience, no one had ever done such a thing to him, nor did anyone dare to. Thus, the man completely unprepared responded somewhat slowly.
For him, at this moment, it was as if time itself had stopped.
Unfortunately, someone was there to remind him.
After vomiting, Qi Ran’s stomach felt much better, but the odd smell filling the cramped space made him exceptionally disgusted.
Opening his eyes, he wrinkled his nose and looked at Jiang Siheng, who was frozen there: “Eww~ gross~ You smell so bad! Get away from me~”
As he spoke, he started clawing at the car door again.
The driver in front deeply felt that if killing weren’t illegal, Qi Ran would probably have been left bleeding on the spot.
“Sir, do you want to…”
Just as he started to speak, Jiang Siheng suddenly reached out and grabbed the youth—who was leaning on the door trying to distance himself back toward him: “I smell? Then you better wash me clean. To the hotel.”
Jiang Siheng, who had originally intended to send Qi Ran back, didn’t want to endure the smell on his body for a single moment longer, and he didn’t want to let the culprit off.
Qi Ran was pressed against his chest; the smell hit his nose directly, nearly making him vomit again.
Fortunately, the driver drove fast and saved his life.
Arriving at the hotel, Jiang Siheng went straight to the bathroom and didn’t come out for a full hour.
Qi Ran, who had been dropped onto the floor, was now unconscious.
When Jiang Siheng came out carrying a mist of water, his eyes darkened as he saw the youth curled into a ball on the floor.
After the injection, the youth’s restless pheromones had quieted down. Likely because sleeping on the floor was uncomfortable, the youth was frowning, looking somewhat pitiful.
His dirty clothes had been taken away by the driver long ago, but the large room was still filled with the unpleasant smell of alcohol.
The source was only this heap on the floor.
Jiang Siheng raised his foot and nudged Qi Ran’s butt: “Wake up, go take a shower!”
Startled awake, Qi Ran opened his eyes briefly and reached back to slap at him: “Stop it, I’m sleepy!”
Jiang Siheng was laughed out of anger by his actions. He crouched down and poked his shoulder: “Get up and shower, you stink!”
Annoyed by the poking, Qi Ran opened his eyes and turned to look at him. Under the dim yellow light, the man’s features were deep; when not smiling, he appeared somewhat cold.
Suddenly seeing such a large person crouching in front of him, Qi Ran was startled. His sleepiness vanished instantly. He shrank back, saying warily: “Who are you? Don’t touch me!”
