Ran Muqiu has transmigrated into the role of a “cannon fodder scumbag.”
Originally, this role was meant for a 6’2″ powerhouse with an eight-pack and a domineering, “wild and wicked” face. However, the Transmigration Bureau has been hit by a recession and can’t recruit the right talent. After much scraping of the barrel, the HR department finally settled on Ran Muqiu—whose looks and physique don’t meet a single requirement.
Ran Muqiu: “…”
To accommodate him, the Bureau lowered the standards: he can choose any important male lead in the world, max out their “Heartbreak Value” to achieve the “Scumbag Success” rank, and finish the mission. Only,
[World 1: The Fickle School Bully]
As the resident bully of Nancheng High, Muqiu’s task is to torment the silent, impoverished “Protagonist Shou.”
But the mission goes horribly wrong. No matter how Muqiu humiliates him, the Protagonist Shou’s Heartbreak Value doesn’t budge. In fact, the Shou even undresses voluntarily, crawling submissively at Muqiu’s feet with a smile: “Do you want to check if I’m washed clean enough?”
It isn’t until the “Protagonist Gong” transfers in that Muqiu finds a loophole—flaunting his “affection” for the Shou in front of the Gong to trigger his jealousy and indirectly farm Heartbreak points.
The plan works! The Protagonist Gong’s Heartbreak Value skyrockets. Eventually, driven to a breaking point, the Gong drags Muqiu into a private bar booth, his dark eyes smoldering with rage.
Muqiu waits nervously for a beating. Instead of a beating, he gets a landslide of kisses so fierce it feels like he’s being eaten alive. Panicked, Muqiu tries to push him away: “The Protagonist Shou is still outside.”
The Gong pinches his chin, rubbing his reddened lips. “Scared he’ll find out?”
Muqiu: “I’m just scared that you—”
“I don’t care,” the Gong sneers. “I’m already the ‘third wheel’ anyway; do you think I give a damn about that?”
Muqiu: “?”
Other Planned Worlds:
World 2: The Playboy Heir Chasing Dreams in Showbiz.
World 3: The Lustful “Idiot Son” of a Wealthy Landlord.
World 4: The Little “Green Tea” Just Trying to Survive the Apocalypse.
Later, when the Protagonist Gongs and Shous in every world turn into bitter enemies—tearing each other apart until the world-line collapses into a mess—Muqiu finally asks his system: “System, did I mess things up?”
Looking at the host’s 200% mission completion rate, the System smiles: “Who knows? As long as the mission is a total success, it’s all good!”
[Key Highlights]
1. Weak Shou! The Shou works hard but has limited “IQ” (is a bit dim-witted), so don’t expect him to clear worlds using logic or normal methods.
2. Slicing Gong. There may be multiple love interests per world, but only the one with intimate interactions is a “slice” of the real ML.
3. Essentially a Mary Sue Romance Game with a side of Shura Field seasoning.
