Hey! Control Yourself! - Chapter 20.2
Chapter 20.2: Ultimate Pleasure.
Based on his understanding of Sheng Lu’s personality, if he didn’t give him the cold shoulder, the man would assume they were flirting.
Sheng Lu’s long hair had already coiled around his arm. Shen Ji had always felt that Sheng Lu’s hair was like tentacles—possessing its own autonomy. When it wrapped around his waist, it felt as though it could devour people, much like his monster fish.
“Get off!” He added an exclamation point mentally. Shen Ji felt his attitude was sufficiently firm.
Sheng Lu froze for a moment, an injured expression crossing his face as he looked at him with pitiful eyes.
Shen Ji had a bad premonition.
Sure enough, a successful smirk played on Sheng Lu’s lips. He did get off—but only to move from Shen Ji’s waist down onto his lap. He let out a sigh from the back of his throat that invited illicit imagination, a faint cloud of red blooming on his pale face.
“My good baby, I missed you so much.”
“…”
Shen Ji initially wanted to push him away, but remembering how a simple push last time had practically sent this pervert into ecstasy, his hand paused mid-air.
Seeing him immobile, Sheng Lu’s long hair wound around Shen Ji’s hand and pulled it over, forcing him to cradle his face. “Touch me here.”
Shen Ji could feel the other’s hips pressing firmly against him through the fabric, subtly applying a clever pressure. Shen Ji was young and usually had a cold, detached personality. Even as an Enigma, he had zero romantic experience, let alone such close-quarters contact with a high-quality Omega.
Previously, Sheng Lu’s teasing—while perverted, had a sense of restraint. This, however, felt “normal” in a way that was clearly aimed at starting a fire.
Inside the room, the Omega’s pheromones surrounded him violently and passionately, relentlessly prying at his logic. The buffer patch was clearly losing its efficacy; the Enigma’s pheromones were beginning to leak out. If it were a deterrent scent, it would be one thing, but these were mating pheromones.
“Darling, did you know that even a tiny bit of your pheromones could drive someone insane?” Sheng Lu’s breathing was cloying, his eyes dazed.
Shen Ji felt something was wrong. Aside from his family, he had never let anyone smell his pheromones—especially not an Omega. Being a rare Enigma, he had been taught from a young age that mating pheromones belonged only to a partner. Letting others smell them would cause immense distress and misunderstanding for them, and even greater trouble for himself.
Sheng Lu lowered his head until their faces were inches apart. Shen Ji saw the heavy possessiveness in those pomegranate eyes and a flash of darkness within the trance-like state. Sheng Lu dropped a threat: “So… don’t let anyone else smell them.”
Having said that, he deliberately lowered his waist, bracing his hands against Shen Ji’s chest. He moved slightly, sensing the obvious change somewhere on the other’s body, and smiled meaningfully: “It seems, darling, that your ‘illness’ is cured.”
Shen Ji didn’t want to say a single word. He felt as though he were being subjected to “forced love” by a Great Demon.
Just then, Shen Yi’s voice rang out from outside the door: “Shen Ji, are you awake?”
Like a clap of thunder disturbing spring dew, Shen Ji startled, attempting to push off the person currently frolicking on top of him. Sheng Lu pressed him down first, placing a finger to his lips. A “hellish” hand pressed the mechanical bolt of the door, locking it from the inside.
What is this psycho doing?
Shen Yi’s voice carried a hint of doubt: “Not awake yet?”
Shen Ji didn’t dare speak. In this room where everything was visible at a glance, he had nowhere to hide if someone entered. Sheng Lu might not care about his dignity, but Shen Ji wasn’t ready for “social death.”
Seeing Sheng Lu’s face—one of pure enjoyment, it was clear he found the situation even more “stimulating.”
Then, he heard another voice outside: “Perhaps he’s tired. Let’s wait a bit longer.”
That kind and familiar voice… Shen Ji identified it immediately. It was his own father’s voice.
“He’s been sleeping for a day and a night.”
“Some mental sea illnesses involve narcolepsy.”
They spoke outside, completely unaware of the thick pheromones inside the room or of Shen Ji, who was being pinned down and tightly embraced by the Great Demon. Shen Ji listened intently to the conversation outside, grabbing the wandering hands on his body, his gaze full of warning.
The more he acted this way, the more Sheng Lu trembled with excitement. A thin layer of sweat covered his handsome face, accompanied by ambiguous pants. Shen Ji immediately covered his mouth.
Shen Yi said: “This kid has the same surname as us and looks so much like you. I almost thought he was a secret love child our father left outside.”
Shen Yue laughed: “Careful, talk about the old man like that and you’ll get struck by lightning.”
“I’m serious, Brother. I felt a sense of kinship the moment I saw him. You’ll like him too when you see him.”
The voices of the two men faded as their footsteps moved away.
To Sheng Lu’s ears, these words carried a completely different flavor. He leaned into Shen Ji’s ear and whispered, “You’re quite popular, aren’t you?”
“Dead pervert…” Shen Ji cursed him.
The moment he said it, Sheng Lu’s face showed that pathological pleasure again; even his ear fins were faintly flickering. “Curse me more. I love hearing it.”
“Pervert… were you born this twisted?” Since he wanted to be cursed, Shen Ji would oblige. There was no point in suppressing himself just to deny the other person pleasure.
Sheng Lu kissed his lips without warning, and this time, Shen Ji didn’t dodge much. By now, although there had been no “substantial” act, he had been touched nearly everywhere else. What was one more kiss?
Like fire consuming dry grass, a subtle trembling ran through them. Sheng Lu’s hands traced his neck and arms through the cloth, his chest heaving. His tongue constantly teased Shen Ji’s teeth, licking his lips. Sheng Lu felt the Enigma pheromones growing denser. A triumphant smile flashed in his eyes as he looked up, sensing the young Enigma had been conquered by the kiss—the burning heat now pressing against his own neck and ears.
Sheng Lu’s breathing was heavy and unmasked. His eyes were vacant, his mind filled with pure ecstasy. More and more pheromones were invading and enticing him. His mouth was dry, his body scalding. He cradled the back of Shen Ji’s head, letting him bite his skin without reservation, encouraging the deepening of the kiss against the softness of his collarbone. Sheng Lu was on the verge of screaming from this ultimate pleasure.
His eyes lost focus, and he aimlessly gripped Shen Ji’s short hair: “So… good…”
At this moment, rather than true love, it was more a case of an Enigma and an Omega being possessed by pheromones. Sheng Lu was a mermaid with ancestral blood; the attraction of his mating pheromones was peerless in the natural world. In the struggle between intense desire and logic, Shen Ji was gradually losing his mind.
However, in this intimate moment, a violent heart palpitation snapped him awake. The scene before his eyes spun. The passionate atmosphere vanished instantly, like waking from a dream. It seemed the time-travel machine had been activated again.
He let go of Sheng Lu. Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his hand—Sheng Lu had grabbed him, but because the force of the transition was too great, he couldn’t hold on. Sheng Lu’s nails scratched across Shen Ji’s palm.
In the final moment, Shen Ji only saw Sheng Lu reaching out toward him, those eyes filled with a rare sense of loss and indignation.
After experiencing the dizziness of spatial reversal once more, Shen Ji was now experienced. He closed his eyes, which were still tinged with desire. When he opened them again, his Enigma pheromones had been completely retracted.
The mentor, Lei Yi, and the others were standing inside the space station. Lei Yi waved at him: “Hey! Just waiting on you.”
The mentor said, “I’m very sorry. Because the timing was off again, we brought you back urgently to avoid another long delay like last time.”
Shen Ji lowered his head and covered his forehead.
“What’s wrong?” Lei Yi asked with concern.
“Don’t even ask. We only crossed over for a few days, just got used to the place, and then got yanked back. My brain feels like smashed tofu,” Sha Mo said weakly.
Shen Ji just kept his head down in silence. Though he was a quiet person, he had never worn an expression like this. As he bowed his head, Royce spotted a “strawberry mark” (hickey) peeking out from Shen Ji’s collar.
Lei Yi opened his hands and silently mimed to Royce and Sha Mo: [I bet he didn’t kill Sheng Lu, but got teased to death by him instead.]
Lei Yi: ╮(︶﹏︶)╭
Sha Mo: ﹏
Royce: +_+
The oblivious Mentor: Am I missing something incredible here?
Shen Ji mocked himself inwardly. It was true: he had a chance to kill Sheng Lu but missed the best opportunity. Instead, he had been pinned against a tree and had his ears and neck gnawed on. He could have used his “hostage” status to leave, but he had refused out of a moment of soft-heartedness!
In the end, he didn’t even get to see his father’s face. Instead, he almost started a fire with Sheng Lu—especially since their mating pheromones had basically had a heart-to-heart. He was supposed to be hunting Sheng Lu, but he had been pathetically seduced. It felt like charging up a massive, world-ending ultimate move, only to have it land with the power of a wet cotton ball.
Thinking about it this way, being mistaken for being impotent was trivial. The most failed assassin in history, Shen Ji pressed his forehead hard once more.
“What’s with you, Shen Ji?” Lei Yi looked at him in surprise. “I’ve never seen you like this.” Shen Ji was a man of action; even if the sky fell, he’d just dive into the sea without hesitation. This internal conflict was new.
Sha Mo mused, “It’s like he’s been possessed.”
The mentor closed his eyes, opting for ‘out of sight, out of mind’. “It will take at least a few hours to recalibrate the machine. You all rest first.”
Lei Yi protested: “We finished one task already, shouldn’t we get a few days off?” During the days they were separated from Shen Ji, they had acquired a new Enigma gene.
“Do you think the machine can be started at any time? Don’t waste the opportunity.”
Shen Ji suddenly spoke: “I have a request.”
It was rare for him to ask for something. The mentor was surprised. “What is it?”
“I want to apply to go to Gaya, year 4211.”
“4211? Why go then? We were aiming for 4212. What difference does one year make?”
“It makes a difference.”
The mentor frowned. “?”
“I want to go.”
“The King said you can use your privileges, but you need a reason.”
Shen Ji remained silent. According to his second uncle, 4211 was the year he entered the underground experimental city to hide the materials. He had to complete that task. Furthermore, as far as he knew, in 4211, Sheng Lu had not yet awakened his innate abilities. He hadn’t appeared in the public eye, hadn’t grown into a pervert, didn’t have terrifying mental energy, and wasn’t the leader of Shaxing.
If you’re going to squeeze a persimmon, you pick the softest one.
The most important point was no longer just killing Sheng Lu; he needed to figure out what kind of entanglement existed between his past and Sheng Lu’s.
While Shen Ji was immersed in his own world, the others knew his goal but didn’t know how to explain it to the mentor. Royce spoke up first: “In 4211, the Gaya people hadn’t been threatened by the apocalypse yet. The environment wasn’t ruined, some ability users hadn’t appeared, and the Enigma gene wasn’t affected. Plus, by shifting the time, we can avoid conflict with the Federation.”
Lei Yi and Sha Mo could only nod in agreement.
The mentor turned a blind eye. “Fine, I’ll agree. But if there’s any anomaly, I’ll pull you back immediately.”
Gaya, 4211.
“Did we get the time right?” Sha Mo asked. He checked his light-brain and said with wonder, “It’s actually right. It really is 4211.”
“Before this, I thought the machine was a piece of junk,” Lei Yi added.
Shen Ji looked up and saw the true starry sky of Gaya. In the previous two trips, the sky—though beautiful—had been artificial. Above them were massive celestial bodies and countless stars. The sky around the planets was multicolored, and a satellite emitted a beautiful glow. They stood on a prairie, feeling the breath of the wilderness and the gaze of the universe.
“Where are we?” Shen Ji asked.
“Still in Country D,” Royce confirmed the location.
“I need to go to the Red Mist Forest.”
The underground experimental city was right beneath the Red Mist Forest in Country D. When Shen Yi had shown him the imaging of the ruins, Shen Ji had silently memorized the detailed route. If he went now, he might still find the location of the facility.
