Wen Mo is mute. He is also the gatekeeping executioner of a massive, terrifying game of life and death.

For decades, amidst the gore and eerie atmosphere of this living hell, Wen Mo worked diligently and dutifully. He remained silent, handling every bloody scene and unexpected crisis with such perfection that he was essentially the “Employee of the Month” of the underworld.

The Protagonist’s (Gong) Perspective:
At first, Shen Yi noticed that his luck had taken a turn for the worse so bad that he could practically choke on a glass of water. Then, for an entire week, he was haunted by the same strange dream.
In the dream, it felt like forty or fifty years ago. He lived in a small village and had a childhood friend who was mute. As time passed, they fell in love in secret. But then, the dream would cut off abruptly.
The dream left Shen Yi completely bewildered. On the seventh day, he suddenly plummeted into hell and was thrust into a gore-soaked game. Inside, the atmosphere was sinister; the rain was relentless, the mist devoured people, and corpses began to pile up day by day.
Someone whispered in his ear, warning him that this was the “True Hell” if you win, you live; if you lose, you die. Every night, the Night-Watchman would emerge to hunt down all the players.
However, when night fell and Shen Yi finally saw the Night-Watchman’s face, he nearly coughed up blood on the spot.
