- Having Played the Villain for Ten Years, I Came Back
- Chapter 21 - The Seduction of a "Gentleman"
Night fell, and it was time to rest.
Wen Linyu was in the bathroom. Today, Gu Chi hadn’t followed him in, nor had he offered to help him bathe. However, alone amidst the swirling steam, Wen Linyu’s face gradually turned a deep, burning crimson.
His memory had always been excellent. Even though he had tried to suppress these thoughts before, now that he knew Gu Chi was his teacher, those memories had become vivid and sharp.
He had undressed under his teacher’s gaze; his teacher had touched his body; his teacher had kneaded his hands, embraced his waist, and had held—even kissed—his feet…
Not to mention following him to school while invisible, whispering into his ear, pulling him flush against his chest, and making him sit on his lap…
Heavens! The more he thought about it, the higher the temperature on his face rose. He never imagined that his teacher would be so…
Well, still a total pervert.
But it didn’t matter; so was he.
The rising steam couldn’t wash away the heat. At this moment, the corners of Wen Linyu’s eyes were moist and his body was warm, but there was no helping it—a certain someone was determined to play the gentleman today, unable to appreciate the view or offer an embrace.
After a long while, Wen Linyu finally managed to steady his racing heart and the climbing heat, turning his mind to what came next.
He was a cowardly person. Despite ten years having passed and ten years of Gu Chi’s tutelage, in his very bones, he still instinctively retreated when faced with things he cared about. For instance, when he left, he didn’t have the courage to confess his feelings.
But clearly, his affection had long since grown like wild weeds, impossible to suppress.
Now that his teacher had come to this world, he had no reason to shrink back. In fact, he should be a bit more greedy; after all, such an opportunity was incredibly precious.
This, too, was a lesson his teacher had taught him: if you want something, use any means necessary to get it.
Wen Linyu brushed back the damp hair clinging to his forehead. His moist eyes became clear and determined, tinged with a secret, hidden excitement.
He didn’t know why his teacher had hidden his identity at first. Based on his understanding of the man, it was likely just a whim. When Gu Chi arrived in this world and remained silent while using threats and coercion, Linyu guessed it was because the man was angry.
Teacher hadn’t known about the ten-year agreement with 998. It was only natural for him to be angry when Linyu suddenly vanished.
The fault lies with me, Wen Linyu thought.
As for the things his teacher had done to him… was he angry? Of course not. It wasn’t some stranger; how could he be angry?
Moreover.
Wen Linyu wiped the condensation off the bathroom mirror and studied his own body, letting out a soft smile. Perhaps on that first night back, his teacher was just acting on a whim, looking for a random way to punish him.
He might not actually like him.
But that didn’t matter. At the very least, it proved his teacher was interested in him and wanted something from him.
This was an advantage he needed to use. He would use this body to expand that advantage. He wanted Gu Chi not just to visit this world for a few days to discipline a disobedient disciple, but to stay by his side forever.
“System, can you open the shop? I’ve suddenly found something I want.” Wen Linyu turned off the shower and carefully wiped the droplets of water from his skin. He put on his bathrobe but deliberately left his hair dripping, allowing the water to trail down his temples.
“Pfft—!” 998 sprayed its cyber-soda. Since Linyu was clothed, the mosaic filter was off, and it could clearly see the version of Wen Linyu in the mirror that was worlds apart from his usual self.
“Damn!” How did that demon get so lucky?! What did he do to deserve this! An alluring wife is literally initiating a seduction!
998 felt indignant, but then it remembered how long the host had liked his teacher. Linyu had been surrounded by nothing but malice until Gu Chi taught him how to live for himself. If the System actually tried to sabotage this, it would probably have to slap itself twice in the middle of the night and call itself a monster.
998 opened the shop. It was currently filthy rich thanks to Wen Linyu, so it waved its wings and told him to take whatever he wanted, even introducing several items with high purchase rates from other hosts.
Wanting them was one thing; actually seeing the names of the items made Wen Linyu’s face turn bright red instinctively.
Meanwhile, Gu Chi had been pacing back and forth outside the bathroom for quite some time. What was going on? His Ayu had been inside for an hour. Did a bath really take that long?
He wanted to go in and check if Linyu had fallen asleep in the tub, but one look at his phone showed a new suggestion from the “expert.” He endured it as long as he could before finally knocking on the door.
Before he could even get a word out, the door opened.
Gu Chi instinctively looked at Wen Linyu. As an incredibly powerful cultivator, his vision was top-tier.
Thus, he clearly saw Wen Linyu’s collarbones, slightly flushed from the hot water; the small patch of chest revealed by the loosely tied robe; his half-damp neck; and a single drop of water falling from his hair to vanish into the fabric.
Once again, Gu Chi froze on the spot. His entire body went rigid—hard as a rock, through and through.
He had been “crowd-controlled” by his little disciple again, and this time was more intense than ever before.
Simultaneously, an unknown fire surged within him. His brain completely forgot the expert’s advice about respect and boundaries. He only wanted to frantically—
Do what? What was he supposed to do?
Gu Chi didn’t know. He was so anxious that fine beads of sweat broke out on his forehead. His throat moved rhythmically. He was thirsty, he was hot, and everything felt very strange.
Wen Linyu acted as if he noticed nothing, slowly drying his hair with a towel. He didn’t speak to Gu Chi but simply walked past him, leaving a trail of the scent of body wash.
The scent wasn’t unique, yet Gu Chi naturally followed it.
When Wen Linyu sat on the edge of the bed, Gu Chi was still staring at him unblinkingly.
Gu Chi’s eyes were a deep, dark black, like concentrated demonic energy. Even with such a dazed expression, he still looked somewhat unfathomable.
After drying his hair for a while, Linyu couldn’t take the silence anymore and spoke as calmly as possible: “Aren’t you coming up?”
Gu Chi didn’t verbally respond, but his body moved instantly. He lifted the covers and sat right next to Wen Linyu.
He brushed against Linyu’s hand resting on the bed. At that slight contact, Linyu’s heart hammered like a drum: So hot. Why is he so hot?
Wen Linyu let out a breath, his tone remaining flat: “Whatever you want to do, just do it.”
Gu Chi seemed to have lost the ability to speak. He said nothing, but his hands seemed to move with a mind of their own.
Wen Linyu was pressed down onto the quilt, his neck enveloped by scorching breath.
His heart nearly leaped from his chest, and his eyelashes fluttered uncontrollably. Just as he was about to close his eyes and accept it, Gu Chi suddenly shoved him away.
Gu Chi slapped himself, clearing his head from the desire. “I can’t!”
He hadn’t fixed his image yet; he hadn’t apologized properly. Bullying Wen Linyu like this would only push him further away. The expert said that at this stage, he must maintain physical distance and stop doing things that repulsed the boy.
Wen Linyu was stunned. “What?”
998 leaned back in a tactical retreat. This one wasn’t my doing! This idiot. I give him an opening and he’s useless! Why did he look for some crappy expert? He’s getting scammed so hard!
