Good Night, Brother! - Chapter 7.7
Still unable to catch his breath, Yi Hyeon bit and released the tender flesh between his neck and shoulder, as if savoring it. The flesh, glistening with sweat, was sweet and salty.
“Sigh, you know.”
“…….”
“My brother seems to get more excited when he’s not at home.”
“…….”
“Shall we try it outdoors next time?”
“Shut up…”
In the end, it was Yi hyeon who had to endure the harsh words. However, Yi hyeon kissed Eun Hyun’s lips long and deeply, as if he didn’t care at all. It was a kiss that descended sweetly and softly, like a reward for enduring well.
The sight of Yi hyeon, lifting his head to face Eunyun with a face still not fully recovered from the intense climax, was quite a spectacle. The red lipstick was smeared carelessly around the lips, making it look like a vampire that had just drunk blood. The long, black hair was disheveled, and the torn, bare groin clearly showed that someone had done something bad. Only the eyeshadow applied around the eyes clung on completely, sparkling like tears. Eunhyun thought to herself.
“Does he even realize what he looks like right now?”
However, the person who really needed to know what I looked like right now was Eunhyun.
The lipstick transferred from Yi hyeon’s lips, leaving a bright red imprint like a stamp, and the red lipstick marks blooming like fiery flowers from her snowy neck to her thighs, had a classic lewdness reminiscent of the cover of an old painting magazine. Yi hyeon looked at the scene with satisfaction, as if he was quite pleased with the photoshoot he had created.
Yi hyeon took the hairpin from her own hair and pinned Eun Hyun’s bangs to the side. The peony blooming red on Eunhyun’s head matched perfectly with the red lipstick marks left all over her body like kiss marks.
“Pretty.”
A red lipstick mark appeared on Eunhyun’s cheek.
Eventually, Yi hyeon gently wiped his brother’s body with a wet tissue and took out a new bed sheet from the cabinet to replace it.
After changing clothes and going to the bathroom to roughly remove her makeup, Yi hyeon took off the wig secured with numerous bobby pins. Even the hair flattened from wearing the wig all day suited Lee Hyun as if it was intended that way.
Yi hyeon took the baseball cap from the cabinet and plopped it onto Eun Hyun’s head.
“What, aren’t you supposed to wear the hat?”.
“Hyung, your face looks like you’ve done something dirty. Are you okay with that?”
“…….”
Eunhyun blushed and pulled the brim of the baseball cap down to cover his face. With a sulky face, Eunhyun, who was about to put on her sneakers and stand up, leaned back against the sofa and collapsed.
“Hey, Jeong Yi hyeon…. I can’t put any strength in my legs.
Eunhyun, who was worried about having to support Yi hyeon who was drunk, ended up being carried out on her younger sibling’s back instead.
As I stepped out of the building, it was already approaching 11 PM. Even though it was late, the sound of thunderous applause and the cheers for an encore could still be heard vividly, as if the performance hadn’t ended yet.
Eun Hyun was lost in thought, wondering, “Our school doesn’t have any events after 10 PM, but I guess every school is different.”
Phew—Bang!
With a loud explosion, fireworks shot into the dark night sky. Trailing a gleaming tail like a meteor, the firework unfurled petals of light high above. A few more burst in succession, painting the dark blue expanse with vibrant, dazzling colors.
“Wow…”
Eun Hyun was captivated. Was it when I was twenty? He thought back to the fireworks festival by the Han River he had seen with his college classmates. Even then, it had only been from a distance, squeezed among a noisy crowd. This was the first time he was seeing such dazzling fireworks up close.
As Eun Hyun marveled at the sight, Yi Hyeon, who had been standing quietly beside him, suddenly asked:
“Hyung, do you want a piggyback ride?”
“What?” Eun Hyun turned to him, startled.
“Can’t you see it well?” Yi Hyeon asked again, tilting his head.
“Right now, you and I are on the same level,” Eun Hyun replied, confused. “What difference would it make?”
Yi Hyeon just wanted to give Eun Hyun a piggyback ride, so he chuckled instead of answering. It reminded him of when he used to want to ride on Eun Hyun’s shoulders as a child. Back then, if he had asked three times, Eun Hyun wouldn’t have been able to resist and would have carried him.
Eun Hyun might see himself as selfish, someone who only wants to receive, but that wasn’t true. The one who truly desired more was Yi Hyeon.
Even now, Yi Hyeon thought, I want to steal Eun Hyun’s gaze away from the flames and make him look only at me. I want his gaze, his breath, every single cell in his body, to be directed toward me.
There they were—Eun Hyun, captivated by the beauty of the fireworks, and Yi Hyeon, captivated by Eun Hyun. Two people in the same moment, yet their thoughts couldn’t have been more different, as if heaven and earth separated them.
Perhaps because of the late hour, the fireworks ended quickly, their brilliance short-lived but intense.
Sigh…
On Monday morning, when Eun Hyun arrived at work and sat down, he took a deep breath that made his shoulders rise before exhaling heavily.
I was tormented by Yi Hyeon throughout the entire holiday…
Eventually, when Yi Hyeon had asked to sit on his lap while eating, Eun Hyun finally lost it. He clenched his fist, hit Yi Hyeon’s shoulder, and kicked him out of the room.
“Is Yi Hyeon possibly a sex addict?”
Muttering the question with reasonable suspicion, Eun Hyun pressed the power button on his laptop and prepared to start his day.
Around 11 o’clock, Manager Choi Min-kyu, who had gone to get approval from the higher-ups, barged violently through the glass door.
With his heavy build, he stomped down the corridor between the partitions, his loud footsteps echoing his anger. The office staff’s attention was immediately drawn to Choi Min-kyu, whose hot temper was well-known. Everyone pretended to be busy working, but their ears were tuned in, wondering what had triggered him this time.
