Shen Xinghuai was the exquisitely beautiful, noble young master in an “ultra-rich” web novel. His lifestyle was beyond decadent: his castle was the size of a thousand football fields; every morning, a hundred servants stood by his 500-square-meter bed to wake him; his allowance was measured in the hundreds of millions; his private jets were single-use, and his yachts were disposable.
He thought he would spend his entire life living such a “simple and unadorned” existence. However, he never expected to transmigrate into a book as the “canary” kept in a cage by the psychopathic villain, Ye Xiuchen.
Ye the Psycho is as ruthless as he is mad. Meanwhile, the mid-villainy Ye Xiuchen feels his eyelid twitch. He checks the notification on his phone:

Ye Xiuchen stares at the strings of zeros for a long time. With a grim expression, he instructs his driver: “Turn the car around. Go to the office. No more world destruction today—I need to make money first.”
In the dead of night, in a darkened room, Ye Xiuchen stands by the window. His gaze is defeated and dark; his inner demons are awakening, and he can’t help his urge to go mad: “This world is worthless. Destruction is the only end!”
Shen Xinghuai reaches out a slender, pale hand to take his, gazes at him tenderly, and thoughtfully places a shopping invoice in his palm: “Xiuchen, the cruise ships were on sale—buy 10 billion, get 1.5 thousand off. I thought it was a great deal, so I bought two. Oh, and I bought a port to go with them.”
The gloom in Ye Xiuchen’s eyes vanishes instantly, replaced by a surge of unbridled motivation: “Good purchase. Go to sleep! I have to be at the office for overtime by 3:30 AM.”
