The two sat at the dining table, and the servant brought up a steaming breakfast. Two fried eggs and a sausage sat on a plate, looking particularly conspicuous.

Lin Xiyao opened his mouth and bit into the egg Shen Wenbai offered. It was a soft-boiled egg, just how he liked it, though he did not feel like he needed to replenish his body.

“Do you like it?” Shen Wenbai looked at Lin Xiyao with anticipation.

“Mm.” Lin Xiyao chewed and nodded earnestly. He loved soft-boiled eggs.

“If you like it, eat more.” Seeing Lin Xiyao satisfied, Shen Wenbai felt joyful and could not help but rub his leg against Lin Xiyao’s under the table.

After eating the fried egg, Lin Xiyao felt a warmth in his abdomen and his body felt much more comfortable. This was likely the power of food.

He curled his legs up on the chair. Was it just his imagination, or was Shen Wenbai being quite flirtatious?

“I will feed you.” Shen Wenbai scooped up a spoonful of porridge, blew on it to cool it down, and brought it to Lin Xiyao’s lips. “Be a good boy.”

Lin Xiyao pursed his lips and took a small sip. The porridge was made from white rice and was quite thick, but Shen Wenbai’s gaze felt strange.
