Judging by the symptoms, it was likely due to lack of oxygen. Fortunately, there was a hotel right next to them as soon as they stepped out. Ji Yunuo gritted her teeth and decided to book a room.

The front desk clerk glanced at the unconscious alpha and the beautiful Omega, muttering under her breath, “These days, alphas actually let Omegas book rooms for them? What’s the deal with these so-called ‘soft alphas’ nowadays?”

Hearing this, Ji Yunuo froze for a moment. There was no point arguing, so she sighed and carried Xiao Yanjin to the bed.

After buying water downstairs and opening the windows to let in fresh air, Xiao Yanjin should wake up soon.

Ji Yunuo gazed at the alpha on the bed, lost in thought.

“Where are you? You said you were going to buy fried chicken, but I can’t find you anywhere!” Shi Zhengyi’s voice came through.

Ji Yunuo was puzzled for a second had Shi Zhengyi not recognized her voice?

“I’m at AA Hotel, Room 606. Come find me.”

After hanging up, Shi Zhengyi belatedly realized, why did Xiao Yanjin’s voice sound so much like Ji Yunuo’s?

Ji Yunuo turned her attention back to Xiao Yanjin. For an alpha to faint like this was her body even reliable?

Sitting by the bedside, Ji Yunuo studied Xiao Yanjin carefully and realized she was actually quite good-looking.

Ji Yunuo chuckled and was about to leave, letting Shi Zhengyi take care of her, when she heard a faint, kitten-like whimper from behind.

Ji Yunuo immediately turned back and saw Xiao Yanjin’s hand twitch. “Are you okay?” she asked softly.

The whimpers continued, nothing like her usual composed self instead, there was an endearing, almost coquettish quality to them.

Xiao Yanjin was indeed awake, but her head was spinning, and her body felt weak.

What’s more, she could sense an Omega nearby one who had leaned in close, carrying a faint, cool fragrance with just a hint of pheromones.

Her body felt like a switch had been flipped, and she couldn’t hold back anymore.

Ji Yunuo, still unaware of the problem, belatedly noticed a new scent filling the room.

A milky fragrance.

And the source was the alpha on the bed.

Ji Yunuo stood up this was her pheromones.

She was entering her rut.

Before she could react, her fingers were seized by the alpha. Xiao Yanjin yanked hard, pulling Ji Yunuo down on top of her. As Ji Yunuo struggled, a heavy weight pressed her down.

Xiao Yanjin opened her eyes, and the two locked gazes.

Ji Yunuo was stunned. She never expected Xiao Yanjin to actually feel distressed on her behalf.

Without thinking, she gently placed a hand on Xiao Yanjin’s back, soothing her. “I’m not sad.”

“No, if you remember everything so clearly, you must care. So don’t let their words affect you, they’re the ones in the wrong.” Xiao Yanjin furrowed her brows, choking back a sob. “I don’t know why, but my heart really hurts for you. If I saw you cry, I don’t even know if I’d start crying too…”

Hearing this, Ji Yunuo was completely dumbfounded. She genuinely cared.

But was that necessary?

“I’m fine now.”

“But I still feel like you’re unhappy. If you’re unhappy, then I’m unhappy too, so I’ve always wanted to make you happy…”

For some reason, Ji Yunuo bent down, lifted her up, and let her lean against her.

Biting her lip, Ji Yunuo placed a hand on Xiao Yanjin’s back, fingers brushing over the swollen gland at the nape of her neck.

If she bit the gland and injected her own pheromones, a temporary mark could help Xiao Yanjin recover.

“Little kitten,” Ji Yunuo murmured gently.

Xiao Yanjin lifted dazed eyes, like a confused kitten, and mumbled, “Sister, what did you call me?”

She was unbearably adorable.

Ji Yunuo’s heart skipped again.

“Can I help you?”

“Help me with what?”

“Like… marking you.”

Ji Yunuo’s voice was cool yet intoxicating, compelling Xiao Yanjin to comply.

Understanding her meaning, Xiao Yanjin obediently lay down on the bed, sweeping her long hair aside to expose her fair neck and the inflamed gland.

Softly, she said, “Sister, go ahead.”

Ji Yunuo was taken aback. “You’re really willing to let me mark you?”

Xiao Yanjin was afraid she might lose control. A sliver of clarity returned, and she urged Ji Yunuo, “You should go wait outside for the delivery. I’m worried something might happen to you. Just let me calm down, I’ll be fine after a while.”

Her words were strained, but Ji Yunuo was like a living pheromone. Xiao Yanjin wanted nothing more than to pull her close and kiss her fiercely, but she couldn’t. Instead, she gripped the sheets in agony, sweat soaking through her clothes in seconds.

Her body wasn’t in pain, but an indescribable sensation spread through her, as if she’d been poisoned.

Ji Yunuo gazed down at her with an indifferent expression.

“It’s my first time,” she said quietly. “It might hurt a little. Bear with me.”

Xiao Yanjin wanted to protest, she hadn’t expected her first time to be marked by an omega.

But before she could speak, something warm and wet enveloped her gland.

Her eyes flew open. The gland was swollen, causing her discomfort until the cool, damp sensation soothed it, making her body relax in unexpected relief.

“You!”

Ji Yunuo didn’t know what to do. She only knew to bite open the gland, letting her saliva infused with pheromones transfer over.

It seemed like a monumental task.

“Shut up!” Ji Yunuo said coldly.

Closing her eyes, she bit into the gland without hesitation.

Pain instantly spread through her entire body, as if an electric current surged through every limb, leaving a tingling numbness. Xiao Yanjin couldn’t help but scream.

At the same time, she no longer felt as miserable as before.

Seeing Xiao Yanjin stop struggling, it must have effectively suppressed her condition.

Ji Yunuo pursed her lips, they tasted slightly sweet and realized they were covered in blood.

Ade called again, sounding apologetic. “Miss, Madam is already furious. You should come back now.”

She glanced at Xiao Yanjin, still lying on the bed. The alpha’s expression was calm, a faint smile lingering on her lips.

When Xiao Yanjin opened the door, Shi Zhengyi and Jiang Nan stared at her with impatience, only for their jaws to drop at the sight of the disheveled bed.

Shi Zhengyi: “Don’t tell me you were in there with an Omega doing… that.” Then, with a knowing look, she added, “I get it. You’ve been in this training camp for so long, you needed to take care of some physical needs.”

Xiao Yanjin: “…”

On the way back, Xiao Yanjin made a stop at the hospital.

Diagnosis: Severe gland damage. Required daily application of medication.

Returning to the training camp, she resumed her routine, but her mind kept drifting to one person.

She had been marked by Ji Yunuo. Wasn’t that kind of embarrassing?

Shi Zhengyi: “Oh no. Did someone report you for spying on the Omega dorms?”

Xiao Yanjin was speechless. “Maybe it was Chu Luo.”
