Forcibly Taken by My Student’s Mother - Chapter 25.1
Chapter 25.1: Lu Xuelan Noticed Her Softening
Lu Xuelan was away on a business trip for three days, giving Tao Yao a rare moment of peace.
During these three days, it felt as though some invisible oppressive force had vanished from the villa; even the air felt lighter. Tao Yao came to class as usual, and since Su Xiaowan was banned from gaming, she actually had more time to chatter aimlessly with her.
“Teacher Tao, do you think my mom has become a bit of a psychological pervert from being single for too long?”
Just as the afternoon math problems were finished, Su Xiaowan slumped over the desk, her chin resting on her workbook, asking with a dead serious expression.
Tao Yao’s hand, which was tidying up her lesson plans, paused for a moment. She looked up at her: “…What makes you say that?”
“Look,” Su Xiaowan sat up straight, counting on her fingers, “She’s a workaholic, has no social life, no friends—let alone a girlfriend. She goes around with a cold face all day, controls me at every turn, and her emotions are unstable. Isn’t that a classic case of endocrine disorders and psychological distortion caused by long-term singleness?”
Tao Yao was stunned by her words, actually finding them… somewhat logical.
But she obviously couldn’t agree, so she just gave a dry cough: “Don’t talk nonsense; your mother is just busy with work.”
“Being busy isn’t an excuse.” Su Xiaowan curled her lip. “I’m even worried for her. I mean, she’s not bad-looking, she has a good body, and she’s rich. How is it that no one wants her?”
Tao Yao: “…”
She couldn’t touch that comment.
“I’ve been thinking,” Su Xiaowan’s eyes suddenly lit up. She leaned closer to Tao Yao and lowered her voice, “How about… I introduce a girlfriend to my mom?”
The pen in Tao Yao’s hand almost fell to the floor.
Her eyes widened: “You… you want to find yourself a stepmother?”
“A stepmother is fine.” Su Xiaowan looked indifferent. “As long as she stops staring at me all day, she can find whoever she wants. If she finds a girlfriend, maybe she’ll be in a better mood and treat me more gently.”
Looking at her ‘sacrificing the small self for the greater good’ expression, Tao Yao didn’t know what to say for a moment.
“What do you think?” Su Xiaowan was still enthusiastically planning. “I see a lot of matchmaking sites nowadays that are quite reliable. How about I register one for her? I’ll just fill in her info, put up a few photos—plenty of people would definitely be interested.”
“Don’t do anything reckless,” Tao Yao hurried to advise. “If your mom finds out, she’ll skin you alive.”
“She won’t find out.” Su Xiaowan waved it off. “I’ll use my hidden allowance to buy a VIP membership, have the site filter for high-quality candidates, and arrange meetings. By the time she’s actually in love, she’ll be too busy thanking me to be mad.”
“Su Xiaowan.” Tao Yao looked at her sternly. “Really, don’t seek your own death.”
“Oh, Teacher Tao, you’re acting just like my mom.” Su Xiaowan grumbled. “I’m doing this for her own good. Look at her being so icy all day; it’s so pitiful.”
Tao Yao wanted to persuade her further, but Su Xiaowan had already whipped out her phone and started searching for matchmaking sites.
“This one looks good, ‘Lesbian Jia Yuan,’ specifically for high-end female matchmaking.” She spoke while clicking the app. “Registration requires real-name authentication… Hmm, I know my mom’s ID number, I have her phone number, and as for photos… I have photos of her on my phone that are quite pretty.”
Tao Yao watched her operate the phone skillfully, feeling a sense of panic in her heart.
On second thought, if Lu Xuelan really went on blind dates and got a girlfriend, she wouldn’t do those ambiguous things to Tao Yao anymore, right? She would finally be free.
That thought flashed by, and Tao Yao immediately cursed herself in her heart.
Ultimately, she chose silence.
Taking it as tacit approval, Su Xiaowan operated the phone even more vigorously.
“Age… Height 172cm, weight… mm, let’s put 50kg. Occupation is Group President, annual income… what’s appropriate for this? Forget it, I’ll just put ‘confidential.’ Hobbies… does work count? Hahaha.”
Tao Yao watched her laugh as she filled it out, her emotions complicated.
“Partner requirements…” Su Xiaowan rubbed her chin and thought. “Height over 165cm, must be beautiful, gentle personality… wait, my mom might like someone more assertive? Forget it, I’ll just write ‘up to chemistry’.”
“Oh right, need to buy VIP.” Su Xiaowan opened the payment page. “Regular member is 3888 a month, Gold member 8888, Diamond member… Wow, 88888? Let’s go with this one, Diamond member—the service must be better.”
She entered the payment password without blinking.
Tao Yao stared at that string of numbers, gasping for air.
That much money, just spent like that?
She truly didn’t understand the world of the filthy rich.
“Alright, registration successful!” Su Xiaowan turned the phone screen toward Tao Yao. “Look, this is my mom’s photo. Isn’t it pretty? I took this one secretly—it’s her reading a book at home. It’s much more natural than those official photos.”
Tao Yao looked at the screen.
In the photo, Lu Xuelan was wearing loungewear, leaning on a lounge chair by the floor-to-ceiling window with a book in her hand. The afterglow of the sunset spilled over her, gilding her in a soft gold. Her eyes were slightly downcast, and the lines of her profile were graceful and quiet, losing some of her usual sharpness and gaining a touch of laziness.
Indeed… she was very beautiful.
Tao Yao’s heart inexplicably skipped a beat.
“The site says they’ll arrange a manual review as soon as possible and then match my mom with high-quality candidates.” Su Xiaowan tucked her phone away and said triumphantly, “Just wait, in a few days, my mom will start receiving date invitations.”
Tao Yao opened her mouth but ended up saying nothing.
Fine, let her be.
If Lu Xuelan found out about this, she would definitely deal with Su Xiaowan.
By then, she’d be too busy punishing her daughter to… go through all the trouble of trying to seduce her, right?
Over the next two days, Su Xiaowan didn’t mention it again.
Tao Yao also tried her best not to think about it, focusing all her attention on teaching.
Until the third afternoon, Su Xiaowan couldn’t hold it in anymore.
“Teacher Tao, look!” She shoved her phone in front of Tao Yao. “The matchmaking site sent me a message saying they’ve already filtered out three high-quality candidates for my mom and asked when it’s convenient to arrange a meeting.”
Tao Yao glanced at the screen.
In the message list, three avatars were lined up neatly. Clicking them revealed women with impressive temperaments. The profiles were very detailed: education, occupation, hobbies, family background… every detail screamed “high quality.”
“This artist looks good—gentle and refined, she should be able to cure my mom’s iceberg face.” Su Xiaowan commented. “This career elite, though… she’s a bit too similar to my mom. Two workaholics together—wouldn’t the house be as cold as an ice cellar? This one is better—lively and cheerful, a perfect complement.”
Looking at the photos of those three people, that feeling of irritability welled up in Tao Yao’s heart again.
She averted her gaze and said flatly, “Your mother might not like these types.”
“Then what type does she like?” Su Xiaowan countered.
Tao Yao was speechless.
She couldn’t exactly say that Lu Xuelan liked her own type, could she?
“How should I know.” Tao Yao turned her face away. “Stop worrying about it and focus on your problems.”
“Hmph, fine, don’t tell me.” Su Xiaowan took her phone back. “Anyway, I’ve already told the site to make contact. Maybe my mom will be off the market in a few days.”
Tao Yao didn’t respond. She picked up her red pen to continue grading homework, but she was somewhat preoccupied.
Would Lu Xuelan… really go on a blind date?
If she went and met those high-quality candidates, would she…
Tao Yao shook her head violently to throw the thought away.
What did it have to do with her?
Whether Lu Xuelan went on a blind date or not, what did it have to do with her?
She wished Lu Xuelan would find a girlfriend quickly so she’d stop bothering her.
On the other side, Lu Xuelan, who was on her business trip, had just finished a meeting when her phone started ringing incessantly.
Initially, it was a few text messages from strangers politely asking if she was interested in meeting new friends. She thought it was business cooperation and didn’t pay much attention.
Until the third call came in.
“Hello, may I ask if this is Ms. Lu Xuelan?” A gentle female voice spoke from the other end. “I’m a matchmaking consultant from ‘Lesbian Jia Yuan.’ Congratulations on becoming our Diamond member. Based on the profile you filled out, we’ve matched you with several very suitable candidates and would like to schedule a time to talk…”
Lu Xuelan’s footsteps halted.
She stood at the VIP corridor of the airport, gripping her phone, her face darkening inch by inch.
“Where did you get my number?” Her voice was as cold as ice.
The person on the other end was clearly frightened by her tone and stuttered, “Y-you registered it yourself. You even uploaded your ID information and photos…”
Lu Xuelan closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
“I have never registered for any matchmaking website.” She said word by word. “Delete all my information immediately, or I will have my lawyers contact you.”
“But…”
“There is no ‘but’.” Lu Xuelan interrupted. “If I receive one more call from you or find my information still online, I will hold you legally accountable.”
After speaking, she hung up directly.
The phone vibrated again—another stranger’s number.
Lu Xuelan simply turned it off and got into the car that was picking her up.
“Back to the company,” she said to the driver.
The whole way, her expression was terrible. As soon as she reached the company, she immediately ordered her assistant to investigate.
“Find out exactly how my personal information was leaked to a matchmaking site.” She sat behind her desk, tapping her fingers on the surface. “Especially the registration IP, registration time, payment records—I want to know every detail.”
The assistant was terrified by the low pressure emanating from her and nodded repeatedly: “Yes, Director Lu, I’ll go check right away.”
An hour later, the assistant returned tremblingly.
“Director Lu, I-I found it.” He placed a report on the desk. “The registration IP is your home address. The registration time was three days ago around 5:00 PM. The payment account… was Su Xiaowan’s account.”
Lu Xuelan looked at the report and remained silent for a few seconds.
Then, she laughed.
That laugh was very cold, making the assistant’s skin crawl.
“Good, very good.” Lu Xuelan slowly stood up. “Su Xiaowan, you really are asking for it.”
She picked up her phone, turned it on, and dialed a number.
The phone rang a few times before being picked up. A female voice came from the other end: “Xuelan? Why call me at this time? Aren’t you on a business trip?”
“Sister.” Lu Xuelan’s voice was calm, but anyone familiar with her could hear the hidden fury beneath that calm. “There’s something I need to tell you in advance.”
“What is it?” The woman on the other end, Su Xiaowan’s biological mother Lu Qingyue, sensed something was wrong. “Did Xiaowan get into trouble again?”
“You know I have always been against violent education,” Lu Xuelan said. “But this time, forgive my rudeness.”
Lu Qingyue blanked for two seconds, then gasped: “What did she do? Sell your trade secrets?”
“Worse than that.” Lu Xuelan sneered. “She sold me to a matchmaking website.”
Silence reigned on the other end for three seconds.
Then, an earth-shattering burst of laughter erupted.
“Hahaha—what did you say? Matchmaking site? Xiaowan? Hahaha—” Lu Qingyue laughed so hard she couldn’t breathe. “My god, that girl… that girl is a genius! Hahaha—”
Lu Xuelan waited expressionlessly for her to finish laughing.
“Sister, you think it’s very funny?”
“It’s not funny, not funny…” Lu Qingyue barely managed to stop laughing, but her voice still carried a hint of mirth. “I just… didn’t expect Xiaowan to be so creative. I have no objection to you disciplining her, but… don’t be too harsh. After all, she was ‘doing it for your sake’.”
Lu Xuelan didn’t want to say more and hung up.
Meanwhile, back at the villa, Su Xiaowan didn’t know disaster was imminent.
As soon as the afternoon class ended, she grabbed Tao Yao, her eyes sparkling: “Teacher Tao, the weather is so nice today, let’s go swimming!”
Tao Yao looked out the window.
Indeed, the sunlight was just right, neither too cold nor too hot—very suitable for exercise.
“Aren’t you grounded?” she asked.
“Grounded means at home. It didn’t say I couldn’t swim.” Su Xiaowan was righteous. “It’s a waste not to use the pool at home. Besides… Teacher Tao, I haven’t seen you in a swimsuit yet.”
As she spoke, her gaze swept over Tao Yao with a look of greed.
Tao Yao got goosebumps from her look and flicked her forehead: “Put away your crooked thoughts.”
“Oh, I’m just curious.” Su Xiaowan rubbed her forehead. “Teacher Tao has such a good figure; you must have abs, right? Let me see—”
“Su Xiaowan.” Tao Yao smiled at her ominously. “Don’t force me to gouge your eyes out.”
Su Xiaowan shrank her neck: “Teacher Tao, you’ve changed. You weren’t this fierce before.”
“For a little pervert like you, one must be fierce.” Tao Yao packed her lesson plans. “Let’s go, let’s go swimming.”
She did indeed need some exercise. Her mind had been a mess these past few days; maybe a swim would clear it.
Besides… Lu Xuelan wasn’t home, so she could relax a bit.
The two changed into swimsuits and went to the pool.
In the locker room, Su Xiaowan’s eyes went straight when she saw Tao Yao.
Tao Yao was wearing a conservative black one-piece swimsuit, but even so, it couldn’t hide her superior body proportions. Regular exercise had given her firm muscle lines, a slender waist, and long legs. The lines of her back were especially beautiful; her shoulder blades looked like a pair of butterflies about to take flight.
“Teacher Tao…” Su Xiaowan swallowed. “You’re way too hot.”
Tao Yao didn’t bother with her, draping a towel over her shoulders: “Let’s go.”
“Wait for me!” Su Xiaowan hurried to catch up.
She chose a pink two-piece swimsuit with a small camisole top and a skirt bottom—youthful and lively.
The swimming pool was indoors, temperature-controlled, with water so clear you could see the bottom.
Tao Yao did a simple warm-up and then entered the water.
The water temperature was moderate, quickly dispelling the chill on her body. She stretched her body and swam a lap, feeling her tense nerves relax significantly.
Su Xiaowan also jumped into the water and swam to her side: “Teacher Tao, let’s race!”
“Race what?”
“Race to see who swims to the other side and back three times.” Su Xiaowan was eager to try. “I’m very good at swimming; I’ve won awards at school.”
Tao Yao raised an eyebrow: “Sure.”
The two got ready at the edge of the pool. Su Xiaowan shouted “Start!” and they pushed off the wall simultaneously.
Tao Yao’s swimming form was standard and fluid, like a nimble fish; she quickly left Su Xiaowan behind. By the end of the first lap, she was already half a pool ahead.
“Again!” Su Xiaowan was unconvinced.
In the second lap, Tao Yao still won easily.
Su Xiaowan simply cheated. When Tao Yao was halfway through, she suddenly lunged over and grabbed her waist: “Got you!”
The two became a tangled mess in the water.
Su Xiaowan wanted to tickle Tao Yao, but Tao Yao grabbed her wrists in return. They splashed and thrashed in the water, sending spray everywhere.
“Su Xiaowan, let me go—”
“No! Unless you admit defeat!”
“In your dreams!”
Laughter and the sound of splashing water echoed in the pool area.
Neither of them noticed that at the entrance of the pool, someone had been standing there for who knows how long.
Lu Xuelan had just returned home when she heard from the housekeeper that Teacher Tao and Su Xiaowan were swimming.
She walked straight over and pushed open the door. What she saw was exactly this scene.
Tao Yao and Su Xiaowan were fooling around in the water. Tao Yao’s back was toward her; the black swimsuit clung to her body, outlining her slender waist and perky hip line. Droplets of water slid down her neck, leaving trails of moisture on her fair skin.
