Fell In Love With My Older Sister’s Friend - Chapter 95
The woman he loved stood before him, arms spread open, looking over with teary eyes, pursing her lips in a way that suggested exquisite fragility, silently asking him to take her away.
How could Xu Luzhi withstand such a plea? Her heart had already softened. Before she even realized what was happening, she was tightly embracing Lin Qingyue.
She used all her strength, as if trying to fuse Lin Qingyue into her very bones and blood, resting her head against her long hair, their necks entwined in a close embrace.
“Sister, can I stay, okay?” Xu Luzhi murmured, though she knew it was an unrealistic request. At that moment, she truly wanted to disregard everything and stay by Lin Qingyue’s side.
She wanted to accompany her step by step from the present into the future.
“What silly things are you saying.” Lin Qingyue, however, was resolute in her attitude. She lowered her head to touch her forehead, then turned her face away. “I’m going to miss you so much, Little Zhizhi.”
“But you must go to the best school only that place is worthy of you.” Unknowingly, Lin Qingyue’s voice cracked with emotion.
Damn it, it was just a relationship, why was she becoming so fragile? She even wanted to throw herself into Xu Luzhi’s arms and cry out loud, telling her all her worries.
But she couldn’t.
Xu Luzhi was still so young, with a vast, bright future ahead of her. She couldn’t drag her down like this.
She would bear all the darkness alone. Little Zhizhi must always remain pure and flawless, like a gardenia blooming in summer, untainted by a speck of dust.
Clean and pure, to go where she ought to go.
Xu Luzhi noticed the fluctuation in Lin Qingyue’s emotions. Heart aching, she cupped her face and softly coaxed, “Sister, don’t cry. I’ll listen to you, okay?”
Lin Qingyue didn’t answer, only burying her face in Xu Luzhi’s chest. An indescribable impulse made her want to merge completely with Xu Luzhi.
Not just out of romantic love, but also because they might never see each other again.
The path ahead was uncertain, fraught with peril. She wanted to leave her mark on Xu Luzhi, to become completely one with her.
Even if she died immediately afterward, she would have no regrets.
Amidst the hugging and embracing, Xu Luzhi was led by Lin Qingyue into the bedroom. The door was closed, the curtains drawn, leaving only a small nightlight casting an ambiguous orange-yellow glow on Lin Qingyue’s skin, as white as snow.
Xu Luzhi’s eyes widened, her cheeks slowly flushing crimson. She felt too shy to look further down. “Sister, what are you doing?”
It was too sudden; she wasn’t psychologically prepared and felt shy.
Lin Qingyue disregarded her shyness and threw herself into her arms with some force, pressing Xu Luzhi heavily onto the bed with a muffled groan.
While they were struggling slightly, Lin Qingyue took the young girl’s fingers and guided them downwards, her voice mournful, almost pleading, “Do you want to?”
Xu Luzhi looked up. Before her was the woman’s intensely beautiful face, her peach blossom eyes misty with water, full of sorrow. Her voice was hoarse and broken, looking quite urgent.
She raised her hand to trace the beautiful contours of Lin Qingyue’s face, slowing her tone, “You miss me that much, Sister?”
So eager to have an intimate exchange, even forgetting her shyness.
Lin Qingyue’s earlobes flushed a suspicious red, and her breathing grew heavier, but she nodded firmly, “Yes, I want to.”
She gazed at Xu Luzhi intently, her eyes slowly becoming fiery. The small space filled with a thick, amorous atmosphere.
It intensified when she revealed her snowy white shoulders.
Xu Luzhi, however, couldn’t help but frown, acutely sensing that the atmosphere was wrong. Her breathing quickened, she was clearly aroused as well.
She strongly desired to follow Lin Qingyue’s wishes and do the thing she had long desired.
But after a long hesitation, right up until Lin Qingyue’s warm lips covered hers, Xu Luzhi sucked sweetly on her lips in a daze. Upon touching a slight dampness with her fingertips, she finally reacted.
She blinked her eyes, still locked in a deep kiss, but very firmly, she moved the back of her hand behind her.
No matter how hard Lin Qingyue tried to move it, she couldn’t budge.
Lin Qingyue reluctantly separated from her, looking at her mournfully. “Don’t you want me?”
Her voice was low and hooking, like a little fox scratching at the heart, making her yearn unbearably.
Xu Luzhi met her gaze. “I do. How could I not?”
Lin Qingyue leaned over her again, like a seductive fox spirit in prolonged struggle. “Then let’s do it, okay?”
Xu Luzhi held her, taking a deep breath that only filled her lungs with sweet fragrance.
With beauty in her arms, how could she remain unmoved?
But she truly did not want their first time to be so hasty, on the eve of their separation.
“No, Sister.” Xu Luzhi quickly gasped a few times, her voice trembling slightly, clearly enduring with great difficulty. “Sister, I want it to be more formal.”
Lin Qingyue asked, “What do you mean, more formal?”
Her peach blossom eyes looked at Xu Luzhi with focused clarity, awaiting an answer.
Under such a gaze, Xu Luzhi hardened her resolve and spoke seriously, “I mean, I mean, a sense of ceremony.”
“I want to arrange a full day’s date, do lots and lots of romantic things, then take a flower bath together, on a specially prepared large bed, with everything ready, and then, then for the first time.” Xu Luzhi laid out her plan completely, a little shyly, lowering her head as she spoke.
She wasn’t conservative she just wanted to cherish her girlfriend and give her the best, most unforgettable experience, not rush into it on a whim.
Lin Qingyue looked thoughtful. “So that’s what you mean.”
Her heart warmed at Xu Luzhi’s thorough consideration, yet there was also a hint of resentment resentment that Xu Luzhi wouldn’t just go along with it.
The two conflicting emotions intertwined, making Lin Qingyue’s expression look even more wronged, as if she were resentful at being refused.
Xu Luzhi sighed helplessly, pulled the woman onto her lap to sit, and to keep her warm, thoughtfully draped a small blanket over her, wrapping her up into a fluffy ball, then held her tightly in her arms.
Burying her face in Lin Qingyue’s fragrant hair, inhaling the overflowing scent, she said softly, “Besides, I’m leaving soon. If we get intimate now, the next few days will be very hard to bear.”
Lin Qingyue shamelessly exposed her. “Then the next few years will be very hard for you.”
“Silly Sister,” Xu Luzhi smiled, kissing the tip of her hair. “I’ll come visit you often. It’s not like I can’t afford a plane ticket, and my parents even tell me to come home more on weekends.”
For many people, seeing each other often across such a long distance might be a luxury, but not for Xu Luzhi. If necessary, she could even take a private jet.
Lin Qingyue let out a soft hum, complaining resentfully, “You’re just scared.”
“The first time is bound to be nerve-wracking,” Xu Luzhi admitted without shame. “Sister, wait for me to practice my technique a bit more, and I promise to make sure you’re satisfied before I leave, okay?”
Lin Qingyue bit her earlobe lightly, annoyed. “Practice with whom?”
“Who else could it be?” Xu Luzhi laughed good-naturedly. “Are you jealous already, Sister?”
“Blame yourself for saying something ambiguous,” Lin Qingyue retorted unceremoniously.
“Of course, I’ll practice by watching videos,” Xu Luzhi replied, planting several wet kisses on her. “Don’t worry, you’ll be mine sooner or later.”
Her whole self was dedicated to serving her Sister; there was no need to rush.
Lin Qingyue hummed, reluctantly agreeing with her words.
Although the matter had been brought into the open, the desire had been ignited and could no longer be suppressed.
This time, Xu Luzhi was very willing to serve. She lowered her head and deeply sucked the sweet moisture until Lin Qingyue could bear no more.
“Be a good girl, Sister,” Xu Luzhi murmured, holding the weak and delicate woman in her arms, comforting her again and again, gently patting her back.
Lin Qingyue closed her eyes and fell asleep in her arms, looking completely relaxed.
Xu Luzhi also felt a wave of lethargy, closing her eyes, but she couldn’t fall asleep at all.
She admitted that she had selfish motives.
All the subtle clues suggested that Lin Qingyue had some secret plan, perhaps even intending to leave.
She was clever enough not to ask, knowing she wouldn’t get an answer.
Xu Luzhi recalled when she first asked Lin Qingyue why she came to Lincheng she coldly drove her out of the room. The heavy snow on New Year’s Eve; and that statement that she had no birthday and no home.
How she wished Lin Qingyue could face her secret past together with her, but the proud and self-respecting Sister would never agree.
How she wished she could stay in Lincheng to accompany Lin Qingyue, but her Sister repeatedly urged her to leave and go to where she belonged.
Or perhaps, it would be wonderful if she were the protagonist of a Mary Sue novel with just one command, she could silently silence anyone who insulted Lin Qingyue, ensuring her beloved suffered no more abuse.
But Xu Luzhi was only eighteen, about to leave for university. She possessed honors, an affluent background, and a keen intellect.
What she lacked was the ability to protect the person she loved.
She couldn’t even stop Lin Qingyue from doing what she wanted, she couldn’t stop her no matter how hard she tried.
A hot tear fell, splashing onto the back of Xu Luzhi’s hand, but she didn’t wipe it away.
It was strange; why had she started crying more and more since falling in love with Lin Qingyue?
Perhaps it was because as she grew older, she came to understand that there was a word in this world: powerlessness.
Powerlessness meant that no matter what you did, the outcome couldn’t be changed no matter how hard you tried, you could only watch the result happen.
All she could do was wait, wait with anxiety, wait with a forced smile, just as she had waited for Lin Qingyue for a whole year.
However, Xu Luzhi never expected that the news she would finally receive would be so resolute…
Lin Qingyue slept fitfully but didn’t forget to clutch Xu Luzhi’s hand in her sleep, only feeling secure when she felt her presence.
Xu Luzhi quietly slipped off the bed, and Lin Qingyue immediately opened her eyes, her voice lazy: “Where are you going?”
“I remembered a small gift I brought for Sister,” Xu Luzhi replied.
Lin Qingyue closed her eyes again, saying languidly, “Good.”
She wanted to seize the time to sleep a little longer in the place still smelling of Xu Luzhi, to feel a little more secure.
The gift Xu Luzhi brought her was a Ping An Kou (a safety/peace amulet). It was a small, round moon shape made of jade, with a central hole glowing with soft green light, from which a tassel hung, with a clasp that could be attached to a belt.
Its exquisite and beautiful craftsmanship perfectly suited Lin Qingyue.
Xu Luzhi fastened it for her, gazing at her skin that seemed even fairer against the jade. Her voice was earnest: “I got this from the temple during the New Year. Sister, you must wear it whenever you go out, okay?”
Her nose tingled, and she felt like crying. “Wearing this will bless you with peace and safety, understand?”
“Okay,” Lin Qingyue gently stroked Xu Luzhi’s cheek. Gazing into the girl’s clear eyes, her heart trembled. Fearing her plan would be seen through, she unconsciously lowered her head.
She stroked the smooth, cool safety amulet, murmuring, “Peace and safety.”
Zhizhi, I wish you peace and safety too.
