Fell In Love With My Older Sister’s Friend - Chapter 74
Lin Qingyue watched the pile of empty bottles with interest, licking her lips: “Should I help drink some?”
Her gaze landed on the remaining half case of beer, then swept over Yi Liang sprawled on the sofa, and she smiled sweetly, “We can’t let the apprentice drink it all, it’s not good for her health.”
Before her words faded, Xu Luzhi’s light gaze swept over. What followed was a glass of sweet and sour cherry juice.
The rim of the glass touched Lin Qingyue’s lips. A soft, tender little hand held the stem, and a sweet, clear voice with eyes as clear as spring water asked, “Sister, are you still drinking?”
Xu Luzhi’s long hair brushed against Lin Qingyue’s collarbone, feeling a little ticklish. Being stared at by such round eyes made her feel tingly all over.
Lin Qingyue took a sip from the juice in the girl’s hand, her lips becoming glossy and bright. Her peach blossom eyes blinked innocently, demonstrating through action that she hadn’t actually intended to drink alcohol, it was just a casual remark.
Yi Liang lay there, her two slender legs hanging straight down, watching her master and master’s wife being intimately sweet with each other as if no one else was around. She felt increasingly miserable, her life utterly tragic.
Annoyed, she downed a large gulp of beer, finished the bottle in one go, and tossed it onto the floor with a crisp clink.
Yi Liang smiled lazily, her eyes slightly blurred with intoxication, “Let’s play bowling!”
Xu Luzhi: “…”
She watched as Yi Liang jumped off the sofa, lined up the beer bottles neatly in a row, then let out a wild laugh, picked up something casually, and threw it with a flourish.
One shot hit the mark, and the beer bottles fell over haphazardly. Yi Liang bounced excitedly around the room, her wolf tail swishing back and forth behind her head, making one dizzy.
Xu Luzhi calmly turned to Lin Qingyue: “Sister, if you drink, you’ll end up like her now.”
Lin Qingyue was unconcerned: “My tolerance isn’t that bad.” If it were her, she’d have to drink at least two cases before getting drunk, and even then she wouldn’t be so wild. So boisterous what a lack of poise.
Xu Luzhi sighed. Although Yi Liang didn’t show it on the surface, the way she was drinking clearly indicated that the alcohol was turning into sorrow and unrequited love. If she were truly as carefree and unrestrained as she appeared, why would she be cooped up here, silent?
A hard to describe sadness suddenly welled up in her heart. She vaguely sensed a point of commonality, but was unwilling to dwell on it, unwilling to make assumptions that would upset her. What if one day she and Lin Qingyue reached this point… No, it wouldn’t happen. She was the genius girl Xu Luzhi; even if… even if Sister wanted to leave, she would firmly hold Sister back and tie her by her side.
Xu Luzhi’s eyes darkened. She helped Yi Liang lie down on the sofa and unintentionally caught a glimpse of the glistening, tearful look in her eyes, yet she was still forcing a smile. She let out a soft sigh: “Cry it out if you want to.”
Yi Liang mumbled, snorting, “What’s there to cry about? If this place doesn’t want me, another place will. Why hang myself on one tree!”
Xu Luzhi mercilessly exposed her: “But you look very sad.”
Yi Liang just said, “Oh,” without changing her expression, “That’s just the alcohol craving kicking in.”
Xu Luzhi couldn’t help but laugh out loud. She wouldn’t admit to being heartbroken, even though her body was honest; her words refused to lose face she was quite proud, in a prickly way.
Just as she was about to turn away, Yi Liang pulled at her sleeve and asked through hazy, drunken eyes, “Hey, your sister… what kind of person does she actually like?”
Xu Luzhi was taken aback. She searched her mind and confirmed that she had never seen Xu Luwei in any intimate situation with any man or woman, nor had she even heard a rumor about it. Xu Luwei’s favorite things were probably reading documents and reports; the cold computer might be more interesting to her than a living person. Furthermore, she could never imagine what kind of person would be worthy of Xu Luwei so lofty, gentle, and dignified, yet aloof and untouchable. Like a celestial maiden above the nine heavens, only fit to be admired from afar, not touched profanely.
But unexpectedly, Xu Luwei secretly spent nights intimately with Yi Liang behind her back. It was certainly surprising, but upon reflection, perhaps not so surprising. Maybe Yi Liang’s lack of inhibition was a great novelty and attraction for her usually reserved and self-respecting older sister.
After thinking it over, Xu Luzhi said with certainty, “She likes someone like you.” Xu Luwei probably didn’t like living people at all. If she had to like someone, it would be Yi Liang. If she didn’t like her, why would she engage in all those rebellious acts?
Yi Liang shook her head and smiled sadly, “She doesn’t like me.” She only likes her body and her technique.
Xu Luzhi shook her head earnestly: “No, she likes you.” “It’s just… she’s a bit too timid.”
“I’m not asking her to come out, I just want an acknowledgment. Is that so hard?” Yi Liang pouted, the corners of her phoenix eyes tinted with a pretty crimson, like a small phoenix with a broken wing.
Xu Luzhi smiled leisurely: “You don’t understand.” Meeting Yi Liang’s soft huff, she smiled mysteriously, “Sister is like that. She likes to consider every angle before acting. If she feels she can’t do something perfectly, she’d rather not start at all.”
It’s just that Xu Luwei, with an emotional life as pure as blank paper, has no idea that something like affection doesn’t follow a business plan. It bursts into the heart recklessly and can never be forgotten.
“Forget it, it’s just these two days. Once it’s over, it’s over. I haven’t lost anything,” Yi Liang said, throwing caution to the wind, her cheeks flushed from the alcohol.
Xu Luzhi dutifully covered her ears. It’s great to be an adult; they say naughty words all day long. She, a child, shouldn’t hear such things. But actually, being an adult isn’t that great either. Even with close physical contact, what’s the use if you can’t reach each other’s hearts?
Xu Luzhi suddenly felt fortunate for her age, not needing to avoid suspicion or guess. She could lean openly against Lin Qingyue and say she liked her. Even if both sides knew the truth, they would still play along with the pretense of childish infatuation. That was fine, too.
The night deepened. Yi Liang enjoyed the big meal Xu Luzhi treated her to, wiped her mouth, and swaggered into the hotel. She had deliberately changed into a different outfit a dark red short skirt made of sturdy material, a black leather belt cinching her waist, shiny black ankle boots, and her hair casually tied up at the end, making her already stunning face appear even more assertive and untamable, like a blazing rose.
When she reached Xu Luwei’s door, she hesitated, feeling a bit timid about raising her hand to knock. Just then, the door opened automatically. Xu Luwei, fragrant all over, stood waiting in the doorway. Her eyes were filled with shimmering autumn water, as if yearning for something, her expression fragile.
Yi Liang was familiar with this look. When her emotions ran deep, she always looked at her like this, sighing softly, wanting more but feeling too shy. Yi Liang was happy to satisfy her, but only after forcing her to utter some words of pleading. She liked to admire the dewy look of a rose after being battered by wind and rain, as if the whole person became vibrant and lively, no longer just a dry symbol. But a real Xu Luwei, a Xu Luwei with her own desires, a Xu Luwei who longed to be passionately loved.
Perhaps because she had drunk too much beer, seeing Xu Luwei’s soft demeanor, Yi Liang felt a pang of bitterness in her heart instead. She walked in slowly, suddenly unsure where to begin.
Xu Luwei was wearing a light, elegant long dress, softly enveloping her body. The cotton material was somewhat soft, so her graceful curves could not be hidden. She sat down on the edge of the bed. As her skirt billowed, her high heels slowly touched the floor, and a pair of bare feet intentionally or unintentionally pointed toward Yi Liang’s direction. The woman spoke gently, “Why don’t you go take a shower first?”
The anger in Yi Liang’s heart was blocked by such tenderness, with nowhere to vent. In her annoyance, she impulsively grabbed one of Xu Luwei’s feet and held it in her arms. Her lips fell onto the fair instep without reservation, like a believer prostrating before a goddess on a throne. Perhaps she sucked too hard, leaving mottled red marks in an instant. Xu Luwei let out a soft “Hiss” in pain: “Gently.”
As if venting her frustration, Yi Liang changed targets, leaning over and fiercely biting Xu Luwei’s lip. In the interchange of lips and tongues, she heard Xu Luwei’s low whimpering sound, a suppressed yet joyful groan, as if she had waited for this moment for a long time. A long drought meeting sweet rain perhaps nothing more.
However, this sweet rain lasted too long. From the bathroom to the bedroom, they lingered and tormented each other. Yi Liang, relying on the alcohol, used almost every trick she knew, forcing Xu Luwei to beg her to stop.
They kept at it until the latter half of the night. When the clouds receded and the rain stopped, Xu Luwei curled up in a corner of the large bed, her neck covered in red marks, looking pitifully at Yi Liang: “Can I go take a shower now?”
“What, do you want me to carry you?” Yi Liang smiled playfully, lowering her voice, “It’s not that I can’t carry you, but I can’t guarantee where my hands will end up.” If they bumped around on the way, the result would be quite unpredictable. Xu Luwei’s expression changed, and she shook her head, saying softly, “I’ll go myself.”
She tried to get up, but her legs were too weak she couldn’t even stand. In the end, Yi Liang carried her to the shower, which made Xu Luwei develop a fear of the bathtub, struggling to escape, yet being pulled back by her ankle by Yi Liang and fiercely kissed on the mouth.
Perhaps understanding that each day was one day less, Yi Liang seemed tireless, pulling Xu Luwei along with tireless pleasure. Finally, everything was done. Xu Luwei lay down contentedly under the covers, still looking utterly ravaged. Tears glistened on her cheeks, and her lips were slightly swollen, like an overripe peach, tempting a light taste.
Yi Liang climbed beside her and lay down: “Tsk, didn’t you buy little toys? Are you scared already?”
Xu Luwei tried to remain calm, but her voice still trembled slightly, sounding exceptionally delicate: “…It’s been too long.”
“Is that so? Shall I check?” Yi Liang laughed happily, “Surely you haven’t been without it yourself, Sister?”
Xu Luwei was silent for a moment, then murmured lowly, “I really haven’t.” She seemed instinctively afraid of Yi Liang’s reaching hand and moved slightly away.
“What are you afraid of? I’m not going to eat you,” Yi Liang chuckled softly, planting a kiss on Xu Luwei’s cheek, feeling satisfied. “Good night, Sister.”
The perpetrator who had just devoured her completely raised a hand, plunging the room into darkness. Having drunk too much and been busy for half the night, the young woman fell asleep almost as soon as she hit the pillow.
Xu Luwei was also utterly exhausted, but tossing and turning, she found it impossible to sleep. Her parents’ rooms were nearby, and so was Zhizhi’s. Even though the hotel had excellent soundproofing, she couldn’t imagine what it would be like if, the next morning, they saw a woman walking out of her room…
Xu Luwei truly felt her own timidity and hesitation. After hesitating for a long time, Yi Liang suddenly turned over and hugged her, mumbling incoherently, “Not asleep yet?”
Xu Luwei was startled and blurted out, “Can you… can you go back first?”
