The silent, undercurrent atmosphere automatically dissipated. Lin Qingyue relaxed, and Xu Luzhi also secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

She found a topic: “Jiejie (older sister), would you like to have lunch together?”

She initially felt hot, but seeing the little one safely in the shade, she felt less hot instead.

She chuckled and said: “My body temperature is low, so I won’t get hot even if I’m in the sun for a while.”

“Really?” Xu Luzhi remained skeptical, thinking this was just Jiejie’s excuse.

“Don’t believe me? Touch me then,” Lin Qingyue said casually.

Xu Luzhi sighed, stood on her tiptoes to reach Lin Qingyue’s arm exposed to the sunlight. The other person cooperated by bending slightly, allowing her to verify.

The snow-white, jade-like skin was smooth and warm to the touch, like freshly made tofu, making one afraid to use force for fear it would crumble in the next second.

Xu Luzhi carefully touched it with her fingertips and was surprised to find that it was within the normal body temperature range icy, jade like bones, cool to the touch.
