- Chapter 29.1 - Senior Sister Can Dote on Me More
Even the rope used for capturing someone is designed so beautifully truly befitting a cultivator, always fond of researching these peculiar and unconventional things.
“Mhm, as long as junior sister likes it.” Ji Weining pressed her lips together, not daring to say more, afraid she wouldn’t be able to conceal the “Complete Guide to Dual Cultivation” she had retrieved from under the bed, hidden in her sleeve. If her junior sister discovered it, she would truly have no way to explain herself clearly.
“What kind of techniques does senior sister plan to teach me now?”
Su Jin’an began attempting to remove the rope from her hand but found it wouldn’t come off.
“It won’t come off.” Su Jin’an extended her hand toward Ji Weining, seeking her help.
Ji Weining took her hand and began examining the rope. It was imbued with a spell that suppressed the use of spiritual power, though it was useless against high-level cultivators. With a slight exertion of force, the spell on the rope dissipated completely, and the section Su Jin’an had just put on was effectively broken.
“How did senior sister remove it?” Su Jin’an hadn’t even registered what happened the spell on it was completely gone.
Ji Weining manifested the array that had been overlaid on the rope in her palm and showed it to Su Jin’an.
“This is an array based on the Solid Gold Technique.”
As the name implies, the Solid Gold Technique stabilizes metal objects, thereby stabilizing the arrays inscribed on them.
“Surrounding it is a Spirit-Dispersing Array, used to dissipate spiritual power. However, in the face of sufficiently powerful spiritual energy, these are clearly vulnerable. The core of the array lies in the Solid Gold Array, which aggregates these Spirit-Dispersing Arrays into a unified whole, serving to weaken spiritual power and thereby control the bound individual.”
“However, the one Yu Qing created can at most bind herself.”
Beneath the Solid Gold Technique was a Spirit-Storing Technique, which allowed the array to function stably. But if the spiritual power within was depleted, the array would vanish, losing its binding effect.
Su Jin’an examined the rope: “What if it were to bind senior sister?”
Ji Weining pondered the question seriously. The core of the array wasn’t particularly difficult for her; the key to restraining herself lay in the spiritual power stored within the array. She replied, “Hmm then senior sister would have to make it herself.Under sufficiently powerful spiritual energy, the array would be unable to withstand a single blow.
“What if one day senior sister needed to bind me?” Su Jin’an picked up the collar part, the more she looked at it, the more she felt this chain was completely different from any lock she knew, yet its function was indeed the same.
“How would junior sister want to be bound?” Images from the beauty illustrations she had seen earlier flashed through Ji Weining’s mind, it wasn’t entirely out of the question. Those illustrations even included instructions on how to bind someone to bring them pleasure.
Su Jin’an looked up with a confused expression: “How else could one be bound?”
Damn it, her thoughts had strayed again. Ji Weining pursed her lips and replied, “Nothing. Why would junior sister ever need me to bind her?”
It was true that ordinary people generally had no use for something like a Binding Immortal Rope. Still feeling puzzled, Su Jin’an pressed further: “If it were necessary, would senior sister bind me?”
“Junior sister won’t fall into demonic ways, so why would I bind you?” Ji Weining shook her head.
So far, she had only ever bound those who had succumbed to demonic cultivation. For anyone else, there was no need for binding, a simple spell would suffice to handle the situation. Why resort to binding?
Not receiving a clear answer, Su Jin’an didn’t pursue the matter further.
“Then today, let’s talk about the basics of the Solid Gold Technique.”
“Alright.”
The lecture lasted the entire afternoon. The small courtyard was tranquil, and the sun slowly dipped below the horizon.
Yu Qing still hadn’t come over, which meant the task was proving quite troublesome for her.
“Would you like something to eat, Junior Sister?” Ji Weining, who had been sitting opposite Su Jin’an, moved closer to her.
Su Jin’an shook her head. Strangely, she hadn’t felt hungry at all today.
“Junior Sister, give me your hand.”
“Huh?” Though puzzled, she extended her hand as Ji Weining instructed.
Ji Weining took her wrist and checked her pulse like a mortal physician. Her pulse was steady, indicating she was fine. She then channeled a stream of spiritual energy into Su Jin’an, which flowed through her meridians and circulated throughout her body.
The spiritual energy in Su Jin’an’s body was gradually recovering. Could it not be due to her monthly cycle?
By tomorrow, Su Jin’an’s golden core would solidify, and she could then decide whether she still needed to eat.
“Then have some candy.” Ji Weining took a piece of candy from her sleeve and placed it in Su Jin’an’s hand.
“Why do you carry so much candy, Senior Sister? Aren’t you afraid of cavities?” Su Jin’an accepted the candy, unwrapped the thin paper, and popped it into her mouth.
Upon hearing this, Ji Weining leaned in, her tongue lightly brushing against the candy between Su Jin’an’s teeth. Startled, Su Jin’an relaxed her jaw, and Ji Weining swiftly bit the candy and pulled it into her own mouth, replying triumphantly, “Not afraid at all.”
Su Jin’an stared at her in disbelief and chided, “Why are you stealing candy from me?”
The sweetness of the candy spread across Ji Weining’s tongue, and she suddenly realized what she had done. She bit the candy back to the tip of her teeth and offered it to Su Jin’an’s lips.
Su Jin’an leaned down and bit it, her tongue brushing against it. The sensation was the same as before, unchanged. She caught it with her hand and spat it out.
Ji Weining felt a wave of panic. She knelt on one knee by the bed, leaning close to Su Jin’an, and took out another piece of candy from her sleeve. Unwrapping it, she offered it to Su Jin’an’s lips, saying earnestly, “I was wrong.”
She felt that Su Jin’an was angry or perhaps she didn’t need to rely on feelings. Su Jin’an wasn’t eating her candy anymore. She must despise her for acting without thinking. She must hate her.
“What did you do wrong?” Su Jin’an asked curiously, seeing her remorseful expression. She had only spat out the candy because, to her, tasting it or not made no difference.
“I, shouldn’t have taken the candy from your mouth,” Ji Weining lowered her head, extending her hands in front of Su Jin’an as if surrendering to her judgment.
So that was it. To Su Jin’an, Ji Weining’s actions were insignificant, and she didn’t really mind. She was just puzzled as to why she had done it.
Now, she seemed to understand. Her senior sister wanted to become close to her, to be someone with whom she could share jokes. And she cared about Su Jin’an’s feelings she was worried that her joke might not be taken as one.
“Would you like more candy, Junior Sister?” Ji Weining looked up and asked tentatively.
“I don’t want any,” Su Jin’an shook her head and pushed the hand holding the candy toward Ji Weining’s mouth.
After a moment of hesitation, Ji Weining followed her lead and bit a corner of the candy. The next second, Su Jin’an leaned in, her teeth bumping against Ji Weining’s lips as her tongue swept in, and the candy vanished from Ji Weining’s mouth.
Ji Weining faintly felt a slight pain on her lips and reached up to touch them.
“Don’t be angry anymore,” Su Jin’an in front of her said with a smile, but then, as her gaze fell upon Ji Weining’s lips, she noticed traces of blood on them.
Like a child who had done something wrong, Su Jin’an pointed helplessly at the corner of Ji Weining’s mouth and said, “You’re bleeding!”
Ji Weining lowered her head and saw the blood she had wiped from her lips. Her junior sister had bitten her so hard that she bled. When she looked up at Su Jin’an, she noticed that there was also blood on her lips.
“You’re bleeding too,” Ji Weining immediately said, pulling a handkerchief from her sleeve to wipe the blood from Su Jin’an’s lips.
Only then did Su Jin’an feel the stinging pain on her own lips. She took the handkerchief and pressed it against her mouth.
Ji Weining reached out, intending to use her spiritual power to heal the wound, but Su Jin’an pushed her hand away and said, “This was left by my senior sister.”
She wanted to keep it.
[Progress in the strategy: 30%.]
The divine decree, silent for so long, sounded once again.
Junior sister, do you like it this way?
Ji Weining touched her own lips and froze for a moment. Since her junior sister liked it, then she would keep it too.
“Mm, left by my junior sister,” Ji Weining echoed her words, then sat down beside her since she was no longer angry. “Does it hurt?”
Su Jin’an shook her head again, then said something startling: “Senior sister, you can hurt me a little more.”
Ji Weining’s heart raced in a way unbefitting her age. She didn’t know how to respond to Su Jin’an. She wanted to press her down on the bed and do the things she had read about in books, to lose herself just like her. Her tongue spread the blood from her lips evenly across them, and she leaned in, restraining herself as she tilted her head to kiss Su Jin’an’s neck.
She gently bit down with her teeth, unable to resist sucking like a bloodthirsty monster, leaving her mark on Su Jin’an’s neck. Moving upward along the neck, she whispered, “Does it hurt?”
She left her own blood on that spot, along with the faint marks of her teeth, clearly showing it had been bitten.
“Mm,” Su Jin’an responded, as if satisfied.
The spiritual power in Ji Weining’s blood slowly seeped out, gradually merging into Su Jin’an’s body. Her neck began to grow warm, the heat spreading throughout her entire being. Beside her ear, Ji Weining’s breath carried its own scorching intensity.
It felt as though a flame was about to consume her.
Su Jin’an grabbed Ji Weining’s hand, which rested by the bed, and turned her head to ask, “Senior sister, is your blood medicine? Why does it feel so strange?”
“Like my junior sister, my blood is not medicine,” Ji Weining replied, feeling the warmth from Su Jin’an’s hand spreading through her own, making her grow hot as well. Their breaths mingled as Ji Weining cupped her face. “But it is a poison that can kill all demons.”
Su Jin’an’s hands wrapped around Ji Weining’s shoulders as she listened.
“Everyone wants it, but I won’t give it to them,” Ji Weining said, feeling a bit aggrieved at the thought. But then, remembering that her junior sister was now like her, she added, “Now that they know my junior sister is like me, you must protect yourself.”
Their noses drew closer until they touched. Ji Weining lowered her head and finally reached what she had longed to touch.
The candy in Su Jin’an’s mouth had not yet fully dissolved. Once again, Ji Weining tasted the sweetness in her mouth this time, it was osmanthus candy, carrying the unexpected fragrance of osmanthus flowers.
Her tongue swept over the nearly melted osmanthus candy, leaving the lingering scent of osmanthus in its wake.
The sugar gradually melted away in her mouth, and only then did Ji Weining release her.
Su Jin’an’s mind was hazy, but she seemed to understand why Ji Weining enjoyed kissing her so much. The person beside her had stirred her up so much that her blood seemed to bubble with joy. She asked earnestly, “Was the candy delicious?”
“My junior sister is even more delicious,” Ji Weining replied with a straight face.
“It’s late, time to sleep,” Ji Weining said, pulling over the nearby blanket, shaking it out, and bending down to remove Su Jin’an’s shoes, tossing them aside casually.
Su Jin’an’s breathing was still unsteady from the kiss, and her words came out in a muffled tone: “Change clothes.”
