Song Yanxing opened his eyes to a sterile, white void. As a wildly popular mermaid movie star whose charisma once commanded the entire entertainment industry, he was unaccustomed to such stillness. The last thing he remembered was a blinding flash of light and the screech of tires. Now, according to the mechanical voice in his head, he was a vegetable in his original world.

World 1: The Abandoned Movie Emperor
In this world, Song Yanxing was a Movie Emperor who had retired at the peak of his career for his lover, the protagonist. He had given up everything, fame, wealth, and the spotlight, only to be treated as a stepping stone. The plot demanded that he be abandoned and forced onto a divorce themed reality dating show to serve as a miserable foil for the protagonist’s new true love story.
However, the moment Song Yanxing stepped onto the set, the atmosphere changed. Even without the mermaid scales of his true form, his maximum charm was suffocating. His professional skills had not dulled; every glance at the camera was a masterclass in allure.
Instead of a pathetic divorcee, he became a national sensation. By the third episode, the aloof and legendary pianist, who was supposed to be a background judge, was seen constantly hovering by Song Yanxing’s side.
“I heard a rumor,” the pianist whispered one evening by the set’s fireplace, his fingers trembling slightly. “That I am just a substitute for the man you gave up your career for.”
Song Yanxing reached out, his touch gentle as he tilted the pianist’s chin up. “You heard wrong,” he murmured, his eyes full of a charming, cunning light. “He was the substitute. You are the only one I see.”
World 2: The Tea Like Evil God
The setting shifted to a realm of gods and the abyss. Song Yanxing was an Evil God, awakened from a thousand year slumber by a protagonist who intended to tempt him into a grave error. The original plot saw the Evil God suppressed and destroyed by a coalition of gods after being framed.
From the moment of his awakening, Song Yanxing kicked the protagonist out of the abyss. Instead of playing the villain, he sought out the protagonist’s half brother, the strongest member of the divine council.
To the protagonist’s horror, the once terrifying Evil God was now clinging to the half brother’s robes, acting like a green tea character with a severe brother brained mentality.
“Brother, he is so scary,” Song Yanxing whispered, hiding behind the half brother as he pointed a trembling finger at the protagonist. “He tried to make me do bad things. I only want to stay here with you.”
The half brother’s cold heart melted instantly, shielding the fragile god with a protective glare that promised destruction to anyone who dared breathe in Song Yanxing’s direction.
The Path of the Cunning Top
Song Yanxing continued his journey through the worlds:
- As the Terminally Ill White Moonlight, he made the world weep for him while secretly controlling the strings of power.
- In the E-sports novel, he became a brilliant tool that eventually outshone the stars.
