- Chapter 52 - Wantonness
The private car traveled smoothly on the road back to the apartment. Outside the window, the colorful neon lights of the city glided by silently. The cabin was quiet, save for the low hum of the engine.
Pei Ye sat upright, but his body leaned slightly toward Jiang Si in an instinctive posture of protection. His fingertips still held the lingering sensation and warmth from when their fingers were interlaced earlier. The shock brought by that public declaration still echoed silently in his chest.
Jiang Si rested with his eyes closed. His profile appeared blurred under the flickering lights, carrying a sense of post-drink lethargy and a trace of undetectable exhaustion. However, his hand rested on his knee with fingers tapping almost imperceptibly, showing he was not entirely asleep.
“Master,” Pei Ye’s voice sounded low and raspy in the quiet car.
“Mhm?” Jiang Si did not open his eyes, merely letting out an inquiring sound from his throat.
“It is nothing.”
Pei Ye did not actually know what to say. He simply felt a powerful urge to confirm the presence of the person beside him and to hear his voice. Jiang Si, as if seeing through his thoughts, slowly opened his eyes and turned his head to look at him. In the dim light, his gaze was deep and difficult to read. “Afraid?”
Afraid?
Pei Ye froze for a moment before shaking his head. His tone was firm. “I am not afraid.”
He had never feared anything except for losing the person before him. Jiang Si hooked the corner of his mouth, appearing satisfied with the answer. He closed his eyes again, his voice weary but clear. “From now on, things will be different. More eyes will be on you, and there will be no shortage of trouble.”
This was not a concern but a statement of fact. Declaring their relationship meant Pei Ye would be completely marked as his, placed in a more prominent position to endure scrutiny, jealousy, and even malice.
“I know,” Pei Ye answered without a second of hesitation. “I do not care.”
As long as he could remain by Master’s side, he was willing to pay any price. Jiang Si did not speak again, offering only a very soft “mhm” as if it were a trivial matter. Silence descended upon the car once more, yet it held a newfound sense of intimacy and understanding.
The car arrived at the apartment building. The two men stepped out one after the other and entered the elevator directly to the top floor. As the metal doors closed, the scent of alcohol and cedarwood seemed to grow more concentrated in the enclosed space.
Pei Ye stood slightly behind Jiang Si, clearly seeing the stray hairs at the nape of his neck and the elegant lines of his throat. The elevator rose silently. With a ding, the doors opened.
The sensor lights in the apartment foyer turned on automatically, pouring soft light downward. Jiang Si walked out first. Seeming thirsty, he headed straight for the kitchen island to pour some water. Just as he passed Pei Ye, without any warning, he suddenly reached out and grabbed Pei Ye’s wrist, pulling hard.
“Master?”
Caught off guard, Pei Ye stumbled and collided with the recently closed metal door of the foyer, making a muffled thud. Before he could react, Jiang Si pressed in close, bracing his other hand against the door panel beside Pei Ye’s ear, trapping him between the door and himself. A warm breath carrying the scent of alcohol brushed against his face.
Jiang Si tilted his head back slightly. His bottomless dark eyes locked onto Pei Ye’s at close range, swirling with a long-suppressed, dangerous undercurrent. “I want to kiss you.” His voice was raspy with the warmth of the alcohol. This was not an inquiry but a declaration.
Without waiting for a reply, Jiang Si leaned in and accurately captured Pei Ye’s lips. This kiss was different from any previous encounter. It was aggressive, carrying an unquestionable sense of possession and a hint of post-drink abandon. Pei Ye’s brain buzzed; his blood seemed to rush to his head all at once. After enduring it passively for a few seconds, he responded instinctively and forcefully.
His arms snapped around Jiang Si’s waist, pressing him tighter against himself and taking the initiative to deepen the kiss. It was no longer simple obedience but a similarly turbulent demand. During the struggle, the two stumbled and bumped into the foyer shoe cabinet.
“Lighter.”
Jiang Si’s lower back pressed against the edge of the cabinet. He let out a muffled groan but did not push Pei Ye away. Instead, he tilted his head back, enduring the kiss that had become intense and somewhat out of control.
“Master,” Pei Ye’s hand subconsciously moved to the side of Jiang Si’s waist. Through the thin fabric of the shirt, he could feel the lines of firm muscle and warm body temperature. The touch made him lose control further. Master’s scent, the warm, soft sensation.
Just as Pei Ye was about to drown in it completely, Jiang Si tilted his head away slightly, avoiding the kiss while breathing raggedly. His eyes were veiled with a layer of mist, and the corners of his eyes were slightly red. He looked at Pei Ye’s eyes, which were exceptionally bright and dazed with passion. His voice was incredibly hoarse. “To the bedroom.”
This was not a request; it was an order. It was permission, and it was guidance.
Pei Ye’s breath hitched, and his heart hammered. Using what remained of his logic, he picked Jiang Si up in a horizontal carry. This was a move he had practiced countless times in his mind but never dared to put into practice.
“Careful,” Jiang Si seemed startled but did not struggle, merely wrapping his arms around Pei Ye’s neck instinctively.
Pei Ye carried him, striding toward the bedroom. His steps were hurried, even knocking over a decorative chair in the hallway. They continued to kiss throughout the journey until the bedroom door was bumped open and then softly closed.
In the darkness, the two fell onto the soft, large bed. Pei Ye hovered over Jiang Si, his breathing heavy and his body tense like a fully drawn bow. He looked at the person beneath him. Moonlight filtered through the gaps in the curtains, outlining Jiang Si’s blurred and inviting silhouette. Desire nearly consumed him, yet he remained frozen, not daring to take a further step. He had never done this and did not know how.
Jiang Si looked at his loss for words, even as he radiated a dangerous, aggressive aura, and let out a low laugh. He raised his hand, his fingertips tracing Pei Ye’s burning cheek before sliding down to stroke his tense Adam’s apple, finally stopping at his collarbone. The movement was slow and full of suggestion.
“First time?” he asked. His tone was unreadable, yet it acted like a spark falling onto dry wood.
Pei Ye’s body shook violently. Shame and desire intertwined as he nodded with difficulty, his voice dry. “Yes.”
Jiang Si’s fingertips paused before continuing downward, his voice growing a bit more hoarse. “Do you know how?”
Pei Ye shook his head, his honesty almost painful to witness. “I do not.” He only knew how to kill and how to obey; regarding this kind of intimacy, his mind was a blank.
Jiang Si remained silent for a few seconds. Then he grabbed Pei Ye’s hand, leading him to the buttons of his own shirt. “Then,” Jiang Si’s voice dropped low, carrying a fatal, guiding command, “I will teach you.”
Those words were like a decree and the strongest aphrodisiac. The last trace of hesitation in Pei Ye’s eyes was completely shattered. He leaned down and kissed Jiang Si’s lips again.
“Puppy,” Jiang Si gasped with difficulty between kisses, “say that you need me, depend on me, cannot leave me, like me, love me, and want me.”
When it was over, the room was filled with the lingering atmosphere. Pei Ye’s arms were still wrapped tightly around Jiang Si’s waist, his face buried in the crook of his neck as he calmed his violent heartbeat and breathing. After what had just happened, he was left with nothing but endless satisfaction and a nearly devout sense of tranquility.
Jiang Si’s eyes were closed, his long lashes fluttering slightly. He allowed Pei Ye to hold him, neither pushing him away nor speaking, appearing to simply savor the moment. After a long time, Pei Ye seemed to suddenly remember something and carefully lifted his head. He saw the thin beads of sweat on Jiang Si’s forehead and his slightly messy hair, causing his heart to tighten.
“Master,” he said, his voice hoarse, “I will carry you to the bath.”
Jiang Si slowly opened his eyes and looked at him. The gaze was complex and difficult to discern; there was exhaustion, satiety, and perhaps a faint trace of something else. He did not object, merely offering an incredibly soft “mhm.”
Pei Ye picked him up carefully and walked to the bathroom. His movements were extremely gentle, as if he were handling a priceless treasure. As the warm water fell, Pei Ye seriously helped Jiang Si wash. When his fingers brushed over familiar scars and the fresh marks he had left himself, his movements became exceptionally soft. Jiang Si leaned against the tiled wall with his head slightly tilted back and eyes closed, letting the other serve him.
The hot water washed over his body, bringing a comfortable sense of relaxation. He could feel Pei Ye’s careful movements and that intense love and focus. Jiang Si opened his eyes slightly, looking down at the other man as a trace of a smile flickered on his lips. Adorable.
Once the washing was finished, Pei Ye wrapped Jiang Si in a large, soft bath towel, dried him off, and then carried him back to the bed, which was already made with clean sheets. Throughout the process, the two did not say much.
Pei Ye tucked Jiang Si into the blanket and then stood by the bed, feeling a bit lost and unsure of what to do next. Jiang Si rolled onto his side with his back to him, his voice heavy with sleepiness as he unclearly muttered two words, “Go to sleep.”
Pei Ye froze for a few seconds before realizing what that meant. A massive surge of warmth swept over him again. He carefully lifted the blanket on the other side and lay down, his body still stiffly maintaining a slight distance.
However, in the next second, Jiang Si acted as if he had eyes in the back of his head. He leaned backward, accurately settling into Pei Ye’s embrace to find a comfortable position, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Pei Ye’s body momentarily stiffened before slowly relaxing. He hesitated for a moment before finally gathering his courage to reach out and gently, tentatively wrap his arm around Jiang Si’s waist. The person in his arms did not move; his breathing was even, appearing to have already fallen asleep.
Pei Ye’s heart finally settled completely. He buried his face in the hair at the nape of Jiang Si’s neck, inhaling the scent of shower gel mixed with the unique scent of his Master, and closed his eyes. In the darkness, a low voice suddenly came from the person in his arms. “Goodnight, puppy.”
“Mhm.” Pei Ye buried his head deeper, hugging Jiang Si tightly while trembling slightly. “Goodnight, my Master.”
