Don't Bait Me Anymore! - Chapter 13
The truth was, neither a big dog nor a wolf could withstand provocation.
The single word “darling” might not have been much on its own, but Sheng Yan’s inherently strong base attack power, combined with his perfectly executed “feigned vulnerability” the crimson-tinged, languid eyes brimming with unbearable spring desire, and a voice softer and more languid than usual.
All of it was a delicacy Gu Zhiyi had never tasted before.
It was like tossing a spark into dry tinder, the result was inevitable.
A raging inferno.
Thus, even though he rationally wanted to be “gentle” with Sheng Yan, and even though he had hoarsely agreed with a “good”
But in reality, Gu Zhiyi couldn’t be gentle at all.
Not only was he not gentle, but after barely restraining himself for a moment, he lost all control, becoming even more unrestrained than before.
Yet there was a difference.
The earlier ferocity had felt more like an outlet, a release of the frustration from being toyed with, the bitterness of not being missed. It was as if he truly wanted to leave a deeper impression on Sheng Yan through such means.
But the later ferocity was dominated by a purer, more primal desire—
A desire to ravage this man before him, who, like a mountain spirit, was so adept at bewitching hearts and radiating irresistible allure. He wanted to see the moisture bloom in those alluring, peach-shaped eyes, to hear his ragged, broken breaths, to hear those lips overflow with languid moans…
Most importantly, all these changes and reactions had to be caused by him.
Even Gu Zhiyi himself hadn’t realized it yet, but he was already experiencing a profound, almost uncontrollable satisfaction, both physical and mental, from this very act of “exclusive possession.”
Sheng Yan never imagined that a single sentence of his could stir such a tempest in Gu Zhiyi.
When he first couldn’t take it anymore, he tried to get Gu Zhiyi to calm down a little. But today’s Gu Zhiyi was completely different from the first night; neither commands nor coaxing worked at all. In the end, Sheng Yan simply started cursing, calling him “little mad dog,” “bastard,” “pile driver,” and other insults flowed endlessly. Yet the more he cursed, the more energized Gu Zhiyi became…
Later, Sheng Yan couldn’t even curse anymore. The air escaping his thin lips was ragged and disordered.
When it finally ended, Sheng Yan couldn’t even open his eyes or lift a finger. Gu Zhiyi carried him to the bathroom to clean him up, and he even fell asleep with his head resting on the edge of the bathtub.
Before consciousness completely slipped away into deep sleep, only two thoughts remained in Sheng Yan’s mind:
This little dog is going to rebel against the heavens.
And youth really is… indefatigable.
The next day.
Sheng Yan didn’t hear his alarm. When he opened his eyes, it was already bright daylight.
The bed beside him was empty. He was alone in the bedroom.
Squinting, Sheng Yan reached for his phone on the nightstand to check the time—
09:28.
Guessing Gu Zhiyi had already returned to school, Sheng Yan opened WeChat to see if he had left any messages.
But there were no unread messages. The conversation with Gu Zhiyi was still stuck on last night’s video call.
Sheng Yan couldn’t help but scoff.
Just leave after…
But before his resentment could fully form, the bedroom door swung open. Gu Zhiyi stood in the doorway, wearing only a gray hoodie, a thin sheen of sweat on his forehead.
Sheng Yan froze. “You haven’t gone back to school yet?”
“Not yet,” Gu Zhiyi answered, also momentarily surprised to find Sheng Yan awake. “I don’t have any classes this morning.”
So it was because he had no classes. Nothing to do with him.
Sheng Yan wasn’t satisfied with this answer. The lingering soreness in his body made him even more annoyed. Just as he was about to retort sharply, Gu Zhiyi paused briefly before adding, “Even if I did have class this morning, I would have taken leave from the teacher.”
Sheng Yan raised an eyebrow, deliberately asking, “Why do you need to take time off?”
Perhaps sensing his obvious displeasure, Gu Zhiyi fell silent for a moment before lowering his head and apologizing earnestly, “Brother, I’m so sorry. Last night… I lost control of myself. I went too far…”
When he fully sobered up this morning and saw Sheng Yan’s skin covered in red marks, and the room in disarray, Gu Zhiyi truly realized how out of control and frenzied he had been last night.
Though Gu Zhiyi’s apology was sincere, Sheng Yan snorted lightly and retorted casually, “Now you know to apologize? I told you ‘slow down’ and ‘stop’ so many times last night. Why didn’t you listen?”
Gu Zhiyi listened to the scolding with his head bowed, his shoulders tensed, not uttering a word in defense.
After a moment, as if remembering something, he suddenly said, “Brother, I called the front desk earlier and had them bring breakfast up. You can eat it as soon as you get out.”
At least he’s not completely heartless, Sheng Yan thought. But outwardly, his eyebrow arched higher, his tone laced with authority. “What was I saying? Trying to change the subject, hmm?”
“No,” Gu Zhiyi immediately shook his head. He showed no anger at Sheng Yan’s malicious misinterpretation and didn’t bother to defend himself. Instead, he said sincerely, “Brother can eat first. You can scold me after you’re full.”
If anyone else had said this, it might have sounded like calculated flattery.
But Gu Zhiyi’s expression and tone were so natural and earnest, as if he truly meant what he said.
That obedient puppy-like demeanor instantly defused most of Sheng Yan’s anger.
Finally “deigning” to get out of bed, he casually threw on his robe and lifted his chin with a hint of arrogance. “Fine. We’ll eat first.”
After leaving the bedroom and quickly washing up, Sheng Yan sat down on the sofa. The coffee table was already laden with an elaborate breakfast spread, featuring an impressive variety of dishes.
“I wasn’t sure what Brother would like,” Gu Zhiyi explained, “so I put a little of everything.”
Sheng Yan grunted in acknowledgment, not mentioning that he rarely ate breakfast. He casually picked up a salted egg yolk bun, brought it to his lips, took a bite, and swallowed slowly before looking up at the person still standing rigidly before him. “Have you eaten already?”
“No,” Gu Zhiyi shook his head, “I just got back from my morning run too.”
Sheng Yan was genuinely impressed. “You’re so disciplined…”
After what we did last night, he’s still up for a morning run?
Incredible, truly incredible.
“Then sit down and eat,” Sheng Yan said, raising an eyebrow. “What are you waiting for?”
Gu Zhiyi lowered his head again, his eyes and even his expression seemed to droop. His voice dropped to a whisper. “I thought you didn’t want to eat with me anymore.”
His meek, almost pitiful appearance was a stark contrast to the ferocity he’d shown the night before.
Sheng Yan found it amusing, inwardly marveling at how a “puppy” could have such a dual nature. Yet he had to admit, he was utterly charmed by this contrast.
The last flicker of anger vanished instantly. Sheng Yan finally offered Gu Zhiyi his first smile of the morning, his tone softening. “It’s not that dramatic. I wasn’t that angry anyway. After all, last night… well, I enjoyed it just as much.”
This was Sheng Yan’s honest thought.
The pain was real, but the pleasure had been just as real.
He was no longer the shy eighteen-year-old boy. Now a mature twenty-eight-year-old man, he could always be straightforward about such matters.
Sheng Yan’s real frustration hadn’t been Gu Zhiyi’s intensity, but rather the fact that the entire process had slipped from his control.
With a sudden shift in tone, Sheng Yan said, “However, it’s true you were quite disobedient multiple times last night. Xiao Gu, you tell me—shouldn’t you accept a little punishment?”
His tone was light, the ending of his voice barely distinguishable from when he’d spoken of “rewards” earlier.
Yet for Gu Zhiyi, just like the “rewards,” this was impossible to refuse.
Gu Zhiyi pressed his lips together and asked in a low voice, “What kind of punishment?”
His experience in such matters was indeed too limited. All rewards and punishments came solely from Sheng Yan.
Sheng Yan didn’t answer immediately. He slowly finished the last bite of his custard bun, his gaze fixed on Gu Zhiyi’s face.
From his overly prominent nose, down to his lips, now slightly pressed together, making their curve seem even thinner, and then to his sharply sculpted jawline…
Such a face, wearing a gag… it would be stunning.
Sheng Yan couldn’t help but fantasize about such a scene.
In the end, however, he merely indulged in the fantasy and didn’t actually voice it—
Considering Little Gu was merely a “first-time offender,” a light punishment would suffice.
With this thought, Sheng Yan finally spoke. He raised his hand and gently pointed to a small bowl of fresh strawberries on the table, issuing a command: “Feed me one.”
Gu Zhiyi was puzzled but immediately stepped forward. He picked out the largest, plumpest strawberry and brought it to Sheng Yan’s lips.
Sheng Yan opened his mouth to receive it, but instead of biting down, he suddenly darted out his tongue and lightly brushed the base of Gu Zhiyi’s finger.
The wet, warm sensation instantly enveloped Gu Zhiyi’s finger, then shot through his limbs like an electric current.
In less than a moment, Gu Zhiyi’s breathing deepened noticeably.
He instinctively murmured, “Gege…”
His voice was tinged with daze, unsure of Sheng Yan’s intentions.
But Sheng Yan offered no explanation. His tongue had already retreated, and he gently bit into the strawberry.
A rich strawberry flavor instantly spread through his mouth, mingling with the refreshing scent of mint toothpaste.
After finishing one, Sheng Yan smirked and asked Gu Zhiyi, “Want one?”
Gu Zhiyi lowered his eyes, staring fixedly at Sheng Yan’s lips, now even more crimson-stained with strawberry juice. He nodded instinctively.
Yes, I want one.
Sheng Yan’s smile widened.
Under Gu Zhiyi’s overly direct gaze, Sheng Yan suddenly raised his hand, brought his long index finger to his lips, and gently licked his fingertip.
Immediately, the pale finger was tinged with a faint strawberry red.
The next moment, Sheng Yan’s finger moved toward Gu Zhiyi’s thin lips.
“Open your mouth.” The command, or perhaps the enticement, held Gu Zhiyi in thrall. He obeyed like a spellbound creature—
Parting his lips and allowing Sheng Yan’s finger to enter.
Thus, he too tasted a faint hint of strawberry.
But Sheng Yan didn’t withdraw his finger. Instead, he escalated his actions, adding his middle finger.
The two fingers gently pinched Gu Zhiyi’s tongue, skillfully and deftly teasing it.
As if deliberately, he began to mimic a frequency that stirred the imagination…
Within moments, Gu Zhiyi’s breathing grew completely erratic.
His eyes trembled almost nervously, and the sharp outline of his Adam’s apple bobbed incessantly.
Of course, beneath his trousers, a more direct and honest response was already stirring.
Only after his fingers were thoroughly stained with silver fluid did Sheng Yan slowly withdraw his hand.
He lowered his gaze and glanced down.
While wiping his fingers with a wet wipe, Sheng Yan chuckled softly. “Want it?”
Gu Zhiyi nodded almost desperately.
How could he not want it?
Yet a sliver of rationality remained.
Is Sheng Yan really punishing me, or rewarding me?
But Sheng Yan seemed to completely ignore his confusion. He suddenly lifted one leg.
His toes pressed lightly against Gu Zhiyi’s thigh, through the denim fabric.
A stifled groan escaped Gu Zhiyi instantly.
“Gege…” Unable to bear it any longer, Gu Zhiyi instinctively reached out to grip Sheng Yan’s calf.
But Sheng Yan was even quicker. Before Gu Zhiyi could grasp him, he immediately withdrew his leg and swiftly stood up.
Ignoring Gu Zhiyi completely, he strode directly into the bathroom.
He closed and locked the door in one fluid motion.
It was half a minute later, when the sound of running water began to trickle from inside, that Gu Zhiyi, who had unconsciously followed to the bathroom door, finally realized—
Sheng Yan was indeed punishing him…
He’d deliberately stoked the flames but refused to extinguish them!
Gu Zhiyi’s throat tightened, and he exhaled a heavy, burning breath.
He looked up and suddenly remembered that the bathroom door was made of frosted glass…
Now he could see Sheng Yan’s figure through the glass, but it was hazy and indistinct, not truly clear.
Gu Zhiyi took a deep breath.
Just as he was locked in an internal struggle, debating whether to be a pervert and satisfy himself while staring at Sheng Yan’s silhouette, or to decisively turn and drink a large glass of ice water to cool down, the person inside the bathroom suddenly spoke, as if he’d heard Gu Zhiyi’s thoughts.
“Don’t leave, and don’t touch yourself,” Sheng Yan’s voice, laced with a smile and the sound of water, carried out, both wicked and seductive. “Stay right here and listen to me bathe.”
