Do Villains Have to Be Heartthrobs Too? [Quick Transmigration] - Chapter 11
“I am covered in your mess.”
Yun Zhixue had a small frame, while Xu Chi’s arms were long and muscular. One arm hooked firmly under Yun Zhixue’s waist, the palm of his hand covering more than half of it. His thumb rested naturally in the indentation of Yun Zhixue’s waist. Although he looked slim, the layer of soft flesh beneath the fabric felt incredibly comfortable to the touch.
With a slight exertion of his arm, Xu Chi easily hoisted him up. The cold, unique fragrance belonging only to Yun Zhixue wafted through the air.
This scent helped dissipate some of Xu Chi’s bottled-up frustration. Before he knew it, he had squeezed the boy’s waist a few more times. He had originally intended to put him down at the classroom door, but he became distracted and did not realize they had reached the main entrance of the teaching building until he was already there.
However, the thought of that bespectacled student and what he had said earlier left an unsettled feeling in his heart. Are Yun Zhixue and that person that close? Why go to him for help? Am I just a piece of furniture? Why did he not ask me?
Just as he was about to voice his frustration, the words were stuck in his throat.
Xu Chi lowered his eyes, watching Yun Zhixue huddled obediently in his arms, tilting his head back with shining, playful eyes as he acted spoiled.
His forehead was smooth and full, his eyelashes were long and curled, and the tip of his nose was dainty and upright. Especially from this angle, he could see everything clearly.
Yun Zhixue’s lips parted and closed, the tip of his soft, red tongue moist and glossy. Xu Chi saw it all with absolute clarity.
“You hurt me. My waist must be red from you pinching it.”
One act of spoiled behavior was not enough; he repeated it.
“It hurts so much. It is definitely red.”
“It is all your fault.”
Truly, he was far too good at acting spoiled.
Xu Chi was stunned. All the thoughts he had moments ago vanished, instantly replaced by a burning sensation that turned his face beet red. He felt sweat erupting on his forehead and even down his back.
Damn it! What is the meaning of this? Why is he so good at acting spoiled? He was flushed a deep, embarrassed crimson. After a long moment of stunned silence, he lowered his arms and set the boy down.
He said in a gruff voice: “So delicate. Let me see.”
Yun Zhixue’s feet finally touched the ground. He saw Xu Chi’s face was red with irritation, his voice sounded exceptionally fierce, and he was calling him delicate.
Xu Chi must think I am incredibly troublesome.
Oh no. Yun Zhixue saw that Xu Chi was sweating from anger, the veins on his arms bulging. He was so angry that he would surely be beaten.
He hesitated, wanting to play the coward and run away. But he knew he could not hide from this forever, especially since he still had a date to go on with him. He felt truly miserable.
This job was not easy at all.
It was lunchtime. While most students were eating in the cafeteria, the teaching building was still bustling with people. Xu Chi noticed someone taking out a phone to take pictures, pointing the lens directly at them.
Frowning, he scooped Yun Zhixue up again. Considering the skirt the boy was wearing, this time he chose to carry him with one arm, letting Yun Zhixue sit directly on his forearm.
The boy was feather-light, and the feeling of those soft buttocks resting on his arm made Xu Chi feel strangely weightless, as if he were floating.
Yun Zhixue thought Xu Chi finally could not stand him anymore and was about to hit him. He anxiously asked the System if the pain-masking function was enabled. In the next second, he found himself perched on Xu Chi’s arm. He subconsciously wrapped his arms around the boy’s neck, his calves dangling and swaying as Xu Chi took long strides forward.
Under the hem of his skirt, those cream-like calves flashed in and out of sight, dazzling Xu Chi’s eyes.
Wait, he is not hitting me?
Yun Zhixue was shy under their gazes. Forgetting his fear of Xu Chi, he buried his face into the crook of Xu Chi’s collar. His breath drifted into the collar of the boy’s summer school uniform, making intimate contact with his skin.
This caused Xu Chi’s breathing to sharpen, and he walked faster and faster.
Yun Zhixue saw that Xu Chi was taking him to an increasingly secluded area, the surrounding crowd thinning out. His grip on Xu Chi’s shoulder tightened. Is he taking me to a place where no one is around to teach me a harsh lesson?
The more Yun Zhixue thought about it, the more terrified he became. Will he take me into the woods? With the trees as cover, even if Xu Chi pins me to a tree, the ground, or a bench, no one will be able to save me even if I scream. I will be at his mercy.
Xu Chi is so scary, Yun Zhixue thought, shivering.
Yun Zhixue’s hunch was correct. Xu Chi really did bring him to a small grove filled with trees. The grove was not large; following a vine-covered corridor, they reached a pavilion with red lacquer paint in the center.
Xu Chi placed him on the ledge of the pavilion. Throughout the walk, he had forced himself to calm down. Perhaps Yun Zhixue truly felt pain in his waist rather than just acting spoiled.
After all, just a casual rub of Yun Zhixue’s cheek had left red marks, so it was very likely his waist, which had been clamped by Xu Chi’s hand, was just as the boy described. Without realizing it, Xu Chi frowned. He knelt on one knee, his gaze focused intently on the section of waist hidden under the shirt.
Then he said: “Let me see your waist.”
Yun Zhixue had expected a punch, so he was bewildered by the request to inspect his waist. Yun Zhixue’s eyes were exceptionally beautiful, as if they could speak, and he was poor at hiding his thoughts.
Xu Chi explained: “I need to check the condition of your waist. Whether it is red, blue, or purple. I need to know if I should buy ointment. Do not worry; since I did it, I will definitely take responsibility.”
Yun Zhixue suddenly understood. However, he had just been making it up; his waist did not actually hurt. He tried to pretend it was no big deal, but because he was bad at lying, his eyes darted around evasively, his eyelashes trembling.
He looked everywhere except at Xu Chi’s eyes, saying guiltily: “It is nothing. It does not hurt anymore, and I am a bit hungry. Let us go eat.”
Xu Chi frowned and countered: “No. If you are injured, you must be checked. You might feel fine now, but what if you feel unwell when you go home tonight?”
Xu Chi recalled the hundreds of times his mother had nagged him. Even if he had broken a leg, he would not have cared. But the thought of Yun Zhixue potentially suffering future complications or discomfort because of this made him feel he would be guilty of a capital crime.
Thinking this way, his expression became involuntarily serious. He used the boy’s full name: “Yun Zhixue, I have plenty of experience with bruises and fractures. Let me just check. You do not know this, but if a leg fracture is not treated properly at the time, it will leave a sequela. Every time it gets cold or rains, your leg will throb with pain.”
“I have a friend who once bruised his toe by hitting it against a table leg. He did not pay attention to it, but when he went to the hospital later, the doctor said the toe could not be saved and needed to be amputated.”
Yun Zhixue stared blankly, his face turning pale from fright. The hand that had been resting on his knee gripped it tightly.
Yun Zhixue was wearing a full JK uniform. Panicked, he lifted the hem of his white shirt and pulled it up slightly, exposing a section of his waist to the air.
It was autumn, and the air was getting cool. His skin trembled slightly upon contact with the breeze.
His waist was slender and smooth, flowing down to the two prominent hip bones. A corner of his white shirt draped vaguely over the left hip bone.
It was beautiful, and Xu Chi knew those two bones were called the anterior superior iliac spines.
It was so beautiful that the remaining red marks looked like plum blossoms falling in the snow. Yun Zhixue looked down at the marks on his waist and realized, in a daze, that they really had left a trace. With watery eyes, he looked at Xu Chi like a little rabbit.
He murmured nervously: “Xu Chi, this should be fine, right? It is just a little red mark.” He said it lightly, but Yun Zhixue, having been scared witless, sounded full of uncertainty and panic.
Xu Chi frowned, his tone serious: “May I examine it with my hands? I cannot tell just by looking.”
“You can, you can.”
Yun Zhixue even leaned forward slightly, actively offering his waist to Xu Chi’s hand. Because one was sitting and the other was kneeling, and the pavilion ledge was high, Yun Zhixue was significantly taller. Every time Xu Chi looked up, he was essentially burying his face in the boy’s chest.
Xu Chi’s nose was filled with the intoxicating cold fragrance. He knew it was seeping out of the pores of the person in front of him. It was sweet.
His head was partially covered by the shirt. Holding his breath, he did his best to tell himself not to be intoxicated by the aroma. His left hand gingerly covered the mark, fitting perfectly over the redness. Yet, he did not dare place his thumb in the waist indentation, as that would have left a full handprint.
There was a red mole on that waist indentation.
Xu Chi told himself he was being perfectly calm and could rationally judge that Yun Zhixue was not injured, just left with remarkably ambiguous red marks.
If there were an outsider here, from their perspective, it would look like a tall, sturdy man in a summer short-sleeved uniform kneeling down, hunched over and burrowing into the chest of the high school girl in front of him, while the beautiful girl rested her fingers on his shoulders. They would think it was a pair of young puppy-love sweethearts, the boy seeking comfort from his girlfriend after failing a test.
Unfortunately, even if someone were watching, they would not discover the filthy scene unfolding from their hidden vantage point.
The little girl was actually lifting her own shirt hem, letting the boy burrow into her embrace, letting him have a taste.
And even more unimaginable was that this was a little boy wearing a skirt.
Drip. Drip.
Yun Zhixue felt something land on his skin, causing him to shiver. His obedient strands of hair shifted from behind his ears to the side of his face, tickling him.
His slender white fingers still held the hem of the shirt, but his knuckles were turning white from the tension. He asked in a panic: “Xu Chi, are you done checking? I should be fine, right?”
Xu Chi hurriedly covered his nose, but blood seeped through his palm. Seeing it was about to drip onto Yun Zhixue’s skin, he hurriedly pulled his head out of Yun Zhixue’s fragrant embrace. In his panicked haste, he accidentally buried his face even deeper into the chest.
The tip of his nose pressed against the soft, powdery white skin. His forehead rested against the JK jacket.
The nosebleed would not stop, staining Yun Zhixue’s shirt red and making a mess of his clothes. He pulled his head out even more hurriedly, flushed with embarrassment, turned around, and fished out tissues in one smooth, frantic motion.
Yun Zhixue looked down, bewildered, seeing the snow-white skin now covered in drips and drabs of blood. He felt dizzy.
In an instant, his little head was filled with Xu Chi’s words about “fracture sequelae” and “amputation from bruises.” Am I beyond saving? Is it very serious? Why is he suddenly bleeding, and so much of it?
I am going to die.
He had already started tearfully explaining his last wishes to the System, thanking the System for saving him and apologizing for not being able to repay the favor before dying. His eyes were as red as a rabbit’s, and the tears were about to fall.
The System was left between laughter and tears, hurriedly explaining: “Xiao Xue, that is a nosebleed! The male lead’s nosebleed, his blood! Not yours.”
Yun Zhixue looked dazedly at the blood on his body, then shifted his gaze, his lips parting: “Xu Chi, why are you bleeding so much from your nose? Did you have too much heat internally?”
“I am covered in your mess.”
The nosebleed Xu Chi had finally managed to stop began to flow like a river again because of that sentence.
Yun Zhixue did not know that saying such things easily caused misunderstandings. But even now, Yun Zhixue was still subconsciously clutching the hem of his white shirt. Although he had let it down a bit, it was no longer up to his chest.
It covered his belly button, revealing only a glimpse. He was so obedient, believing everything he was told.
His expression was one of pure bewilderment and concern as he looked at Xu Chi.
The wind rustled, the leaves whispered, and Yun Zhixue’s dark hair was brushed aside.
Black and white, pure and snow-like.
For a moment, Xu Chi forgot to press down firmly. Blood flowed like a river, staining his neck and clothes.
Yun Zhixue panicked. He hurriedly reached for tissues in his jacket, but he could not reach Xu Chi’s face when standing on tiptoes. Fortunately, Xu Chi had not completely lost his mind and still had some awareness, knowing to bend down.
Yun Zhixue covered the nose with a tissue, saying with great worry: “Xu Chi, is your body okay? Should you go to the hospital for a checkup?”
