A quiet winter night passed without incident. Early the next morning, Dong Mo dressed neatly and opened the livestream.

The long-awaited viewers flooded in quickly. As soon as they entered, they were greeted by the sight of his fluffy black hair, sparkling silver eyes, and a fair, radiant face completely free of dirt. Even his collarbones seemed to glow white.

Seeing the livestream return to calm, Luo Fei finished storing the beast-skins. Dong Mo helped cover them with a stone slab before turning to ask.

Luo Fei nodded. “No need to transform into beast form today. We will walk there. The path is quite long and might take all morning. Can you handle it?” He asked with concern, worried that Dong Mo was too small and lacked the physical strength.

Dong Mo shook his head, his face full of determination. “It is fine! I am actually quite strong!” He boasted to Luo Fei about how he had previously carried a crow and dragged a tree trunk.

Luo Fei looked at his animated expression and could not help but pat his head again. “Alright, I understand. You have plenty of strength. Xue Qiu’s injuries are also better now. How about letting it run with us today?”

At this, Dong Mo’s smile faded slightly. He blinked and looked down at the snowy-white kitten sitting obediently on the stone bed after “washing” its face. “But it is so small.”

Dong Mo was overprotective of Xue Qiu, fearing the little guy would freeze while running in the snow. Xue Qiu seemed to sense his worry and gave a small meow.

Luo Fei looked helpless. “Momo, Xue Qiu is a beastman. These are things he must learn. When he grows up, he will need to take on the responsibility of protecting you. If you do not let him run now, do you expect to carry him in your arms when he becomes a two-meter-tall beastman?”

The place Luo Fei led them to was located on the far west side of Moon Mountain. It was the only area that did not belong to any tribe’s territory, a barren region of black rock where no vegetation grew.

“The residents of the Beastman Planet call this the ‘Black Rock Mine.’ Do you see those gold and purple stones? Do not touch them. They contain radioactive substances that fell from other star systems.”

Luo Fei led him closer, pointing from a distance at the looming giant black rocks. At this sight, Dong Mo was stunned.

The Black Rock Mine was located on the leeward side of the second-highest peak. Looking down from a high point, the steep, boundless mountainside was almost entirely exposed. It was hard to associate it with the lush pine and cypress ecosystems elsewhere.

The path beneath their feet was very narrow, with few stable places to step. Every step required extreme caution. As they got closer, they discovered that beneath the thousand-meter peak, there were beastmen scattered everywhere, chiseling and digging. Luo Fei patted his shoulder. “Do not worry. Because of the terrain in the mining area, even the strongest beastmen do not dare to start a fight on such a dangerous, steep slope. The larger the build, the easier it is to roll down.”

Dong Mo tilted his head and observed carefully. The surface of the stone had no cracks and it was wedged firmly there. It did indeed look like a good object to block the cave.

“The problem is, we are two sub-beastmen. How could we possibly move it?” Dong Mo blinked in confusion.

In the next second, Luo Fei gave him a mysterious smile and then brushed past him. “You and Xue Qiu wait for me here.” His tone trailed off with a hint of meaningfulness.

Dong Mo then watched as Luo Fei, drawing the attention of countless other beastmen in the vicinity, walked toward a black bear beastman who was burying his head in digging not far from that stone.

The beastman was bare-chested, his body covered in exaggerated, powerful bronze muscles. He was holding a giant hammer and striking repeatedly. Luo Fei looked like a small chick in front of him!

Dong Mo’s heart nearly jumped into his throat. He watched Luo Fei walk to the man’s side, his red hair swaying gently in the wind. He could vaguely hear him smiling and speaking to the black bear beastman.

“Hello. Sorry to bother you. Excuse me, could you help us move a stone?”

The hammer the black bear beastman was holding suddenly froze in mid-air. He turned around unhappily, intending to lose his temper, but upon seeing Luo Fei’s face, his expression turned dazed. Then his grip suddenly loosened, and the hammer hit the ground.

The big, burly beastman, whose face was full of rough features, was suddenly touched with a hint of crimson.

“Ah, huh? Me, me?”

Dong Mo: “?”
