Deliberate Possession [Entertainment Industry] - Chapter 92
Chapter 92: With the Dog-Head Emoji
Jing Xiaoyan hadn’t even walked in when she heard a “bang” behind her. She turned back in confusion, childishly knocking on the door in protest.
Jiang Yumian was holding the doorknob tightly from the outside, ignoring her protest, determined not to let her out easily.
Hearing no response, Jing Xiaoyan paused, momentarily withdrawing her gaze, and focused on the walk-in closet.
She casually pressed the switch on the wall, and the lights in the room quickly came on.
All the decorative LED lights embedded in the display cabinets lit up. Jing Xiaoyan raised an eyebrow. This space was almost as big as Jiang Yumian’s room.
Numerous clothes of different styles were displayed in the luxurious, high-end wardrobe. She looked around and noticed a remote control on the glass table. She picked it up and casually pressed a button.
The wardrobe on the left automatically moved to the sides, revealing another space filled with various gowns and countless pairs of high heels.
Jing Xiaoyan was dazzled. She quickly retracted her gaze, looked down at the remote control in her hand, and pressed another button.
Sure enough, the other side also opened automatically, revealing a dazzling array of jewelry. But what caught her attention were two human-sized cutouts that looked completely out of place.
Jing Xiaoyan walked in, full of questions, and turned the two cutouts that were facing away from her. She was dumbfounded.
After a few seconds of愣, a smile appeared on her face. “Ha…”
This was a little perverted…
She circled the two cutouts twice, finally pressing another button on the remote control. The wall facing the door also opened, revealing a collection of bags.
Jing Xiaoyan wasn’t very interested in any of this. She grabbed a cutout in each hand and walked to the door, the excitement in her eyes undisguised.
She kicked the door with her foot, raising her voice to the outside. “Mianmian, open the door.”
Jiang Yumian gripped the doorknob tightly and remained silent.
Hearing the excitement in her tone, Jiang Yumian closed her eyes, blushing. How embarrassing.
Hearing no movement outside, Jing Xiaoyan had to free a hand to try and open the door herself, but after pulling it once, the door didn’t budge.
She blinked, quickly realizing, and called out, suppressing a laugh, “Mianmian, open the door and let me out. I won’t laugh at you.”
She tried pulling the door again, but it still wouldn’t open.
Jing Xiaoyan rubbed her chin, thinking for a moment, and quickly continued, “I really won’t make fun of you, darling. Open the door.”
Hearing her call her “darling,” Jiang Yumian’s ears felt hot. Did Jing Xiaoyan not know what shame was?
The current Jing Xiaoyan really didn’t know what shame was.
Ever since she had peeled Jiang Yumian back layer by layer, the formerly timid version of herself had been scorned ten thousand times.
“Darling, open the door for me, okay~”
Jing Xiaoyan pressed against the door, calling out in a pleading voice. Jiang Yumian on the outside got goosebumps from her words.
Jiang Yumian tapped the door in annoyance, signaling her to shut up.
Jing Xiaoyan pulled the door, but it still didn’t open. She licked her lips and continued calling, “Mianmian~”
“Darling~”
“Baby~”
After this last call, Jing Xiaoyan herself shivered slightly, reaching out to pinch her own face. So cheesy.
Separated by the door, Jiang Yumian’s toes curled in embarrassment. She was mortified.
Seeing that she still wouldn’t open the door, Jing Xiaoyan cleared her throat and shouted directly, “Wife, open the door!”
Jiang Yumian’s head was buzzing. She didn’t care anymore, shouting back in anger, “Who’s your wife!”
She dropped that sentence and ran away. If she kept stopping Jing Xiaoyan from coming out, she would probably call out even more cheesy things.
After waiting for a while, with Jiang Yumian no longer deliberately holding it, Jing Xiaoyan opened the door herself. She was carrying a cutout in each hand, struggling to walk out. A bright smile spread across her face. She put the cutouts down, looked around the room, but there was no sign of anyone.
She tried calling out, “Mianmian?”
The room was silent for two seconds, with no sound at all.
Jing Xiaoyan blinked in surprise. No way. Did she get scared off?
How thin-skinned was her girlfriend?
Jing Xiaoyan walked out of the room, looked downstairs, and after a while, she saw Jiang Yumian at the stairwell, trying to prevent Jiang Xiaoyan from going upstairs.
“Woof! Woof!”
Jiang Xiaoyan barked excitedly at Jing Xiaoyan.
Jiang Yumian: “…”
She looked up at the sky, refusing to look at Jing Xiaoyan.
Jing Xiaoyan glanced at Jiang Xiaoyan, raised an eyebrow, and smiled at Jiang Yumian, beckoning her with a finger. “Stop hiding. Come up.”
Fearing the dog would latch onto her, Jing Xiaoyan quickly turned around. Before going back into the room, she left a warning. “If you don’t come up, I’ll come down and call you later. I’ll call you whatever I want, okay~”
Jiang Yumian bit her lip, muttering softly, “Shameless…”
She handed Jiang Xiaoyan over to the housekeeper, then quickly ran back to her room door. After an internal struggle, she took a deep breath and pushed the door open.
Jing Xiaoyan was examining the two cutouts. Seeing Jiang Yumian enter, she quickly walked to the door, locked it, and then reached out to pull her into her embrace.
The first thing she said was, “I just found out you like me so much, even though it’s a little perverted.”
She actually hid her advertisement cutouts at home and even made a matching one of herself.
The redness on Jiang Yumian’s neck quickly spread to her ears. “You’re the pervert! I didn’t buy these!”
Jing Xiaoyan didn’t believe her at all.
“Just admit you like me. What’s so hard to admit? Now you don’t have to look at objects to miss me. I’m right here. You can touch me and hug me however you want.”
Being hugged and rubbed by Jing Xiaoyan, and hearing her words, Jiang Yumian reached out to push her away, quickly confessing with organized language. “I took a photo with your cutout at the mall before and sent it to my mom. I also joked, asking her to make one of me too. It turned out she actually customized one, and yours was a free gift! I didn’t ask for it!”
Jing Xiaoyan held her, feeling a little disappointed hearing her earnest explanation. She really overthought it.
She couldn’t help but ask, “Then why were you guilty…”
She added, “And hiding it…”
And holding the door shut, not letting her out.
Jiang Yumian opened her mouth, unable to defend herself. She hid it because she was afraid Jing Xiaoyan would think she was perverted!
Jing Xiaoyan pouted, hooking her by the collar, asking curiously, “When you missed me, did you often secretly look at it?”
“Absolutely not!” The four words blurted out. Jiang Yumian’s eyes flickered. Although she said no, the expression on her face completely betrayed her.
She did look at it often, especially during the time she blocked her. Sometimes she would even mutter to the cutout.
Seeing her reaction, the smile on Jing Xiaoyan’s face grew brighter.
“Little pervert.”
Being deliberately called that, Jiang Yumian’s ears were so hot they could drip blood. She bit her lip, forcefully challenging her, “What? You think this is perverted?”
“Tell me, where is it perverted to hide two cutouts?”
Jing Xiaoyan was stunned by Jiang Yumian’s forceful and justified stance.
She smiled, her eyes twinkling. She pointed at her own cutout, leaned into her ear, and said deliberately, “You secretly fantasize about me by looking at this.”
Jiang Yumian suddenly bit her tongue. She immediately kicked Jing Xiaoyan’s leg, gritting her teeth and pinching the back of her neck.
She really! Dared to say anything!
She squeezed hard with her fingers.
“Ouch! It hurts!” Jing Xiaoyan cried out in pain and quickly grabbed the hand at the back of her neck. It hurt so much!
Jiang Yumian released her hand and twisted her ear instead, saying crossly, “Are you going to talk nonsense again?”
Jing Xiaoyan quickly let go of her neck and grabbed her ear, looking miserable. She quickly replied, “No more, no more!”
Jiang Yumian snorted.
She released her hand and then gently rubbed Jing Xiaoyan’s ear. “Don’t read those fanfics anymore. Why do you learn everything?”
Jing Xiaoyan thought about it. The words in there were indeed a little too direct. She blinked. Fine. She quietly “Oh’d” and pulled Jiang Yumian to sit by the bed.
The two sat close together. Jiang Yumian saw her still covering her ear, her eyes flashing. She reached out with some self-reproach, leaning closer to look. “Does it hurt a lot?”
She didn’t seem to use much force just now, as she was afraid Jing Xiaoyan would be in pain…
Her ear was being gently massaged by Jiang Yumian’s palm. Taking advantage of her proximity, Jing Xiaoyan turned her head, seized the opportunity, and kissed her.
Her body was immediately embraced. Jiang Yumian closed her eyes, helpless yet amused. She moved her lips to respond to Jing Xiaoyan, her arms naturally hooking around her neck.
Their breaths mingled. Jiang Yumian gently accepted her invasion of her lips and tongue. Under her active response, Jing Xiaoyan’s remaining clarity gradually disappeared. Her palm gently stroked her back.
Once again, she was pushed onto the bed. Jiang Yumian regained her senses and quickly covered Jing Xiaoyan’s lips with her hand.
Under Jing Xiaoyan’s bewildered gaze, she panted, tightening the hand pressing against her lips. Before she could speak, Jing Xiaoyan suddenly pulled her hand away and sat up.
Before Jiang Yumian could sit up, she picked her up and tossed her into the middle of the bed. She pulled the blanket over them and lay down as well.
The atmosphere was already set. How could they do nothing?
Pressed down on the bed, with warm breath and an emotional kiss on her neck, Jiang Yumian’s mind went blank for a moment. She instinctively turned her head, letting her kiss her.
It was normal for her to be a little emotional after being blocked a few times today.
It’s just that…
Jiang Yumian reached out with difficulty, hugging the person kissing her. Her fingers pressed into her hair. She called her name, her breath shaky. “Jing Xiaoyan…”
Jing Xiaoyan opened her mouth but didn’t make a sound. Her teeth gently scraped against the skin of her collarbone, as if she was about to bite down, either as a simple response or to threaten her to think carefully before speaking.
There was a warm palm on her waist. Jiang Yumian rubbed against her restlessly. She hesitated for a few seconds, closed her eyes, and still refused. “I can’t these two days.”
The person on top of her finally stopped moving.
Jing Xiaoyan leaned into her ear and asked softly, “Period?”
Jiang Yumian turned her head away, her lips slightly parted. “No…”
Just as Jing Xiaoyan was about to ask her, she turned back, supporting herself on her shoulder, her eyes full of complaint. “Can you please stop thinking about these things every day? Can you do something serious?”
Jing Xiaoyan looked innocent. “I’ve finished all my work, and now I don’t have a job. What serious thing should I do?”
And Jiang Yumian wasn’t working either. It was rest time.
Unable to argue with her, Jiang Yumian pushed her away, turned to the side, pulled the blanket over her head, and covered her face.
Finding her actions a little inexplicable, Jing Xiaoyan hugged her. “What’s wrong, exactly?”
Jiang Yumian buried her face deeper, but after a few seconds, Jing Xiaoyan forcefully turned her back. She had no choice but to turn around. Not daring to look at Jing Xiaoyan’s face, she buried her head in her chest and whispered, blushing, “I really can’t anymore…”
Jing Xiaoyan suddenly realized. It wasn’t that she couldn’t, it was that she was worn out.
She thought back. Since returning from the variety show, they hadn’t stopped. It had been several days. It seemed they had overdone it a little.
She lowered her gaze, looking at Jiang Yumian, who was tightly buried in her chest. All the unhappiness in her heart instantly dispersed. Her palm gently rubbed her back.
Soothing her, Jiang Yumian’s tense body quickly relaxed a little.
Sensing that she was no longer aggressive, and probably understood what she meant, Jiang Yumian felt even more embarrassed. She lowered her head even further.
Jing Xiaoyan patted her twice, her voice soft, with a hint of self-reproach in her tone. “Does it hurt a lot?”
She hadn’t mentioned it all day today. She thought it was the same as the previous times.
Jiang Yumian’s exposed ears were bright red. She struggled internally for two seconds, then silently extended one finger, whispering, “Just… a little.”
Jing Xiaoyan looked understanding. “So, it does hurt.”
Jiang Yumian didn’t say anything more. It did hurt.
Actually, before yesterday, she could still handle it, but last night she was too aggressive, causing her to cry out constantly, so now she couldn’t take it anymore.
Seeing Jiang Yumian continuously buried in her arms, unwilling to get up, Jing Xiaoyan couldn’t even kiss her. Her eyes shifted, and she deliberately sighed. “I’m sorry, darling. I didn’t mind the boundary.”
Jiang Yumian’s arm suddenly twitched. She couldn’t stand her calling her that. It was too cheesy!
Jing Xiaoyan sighed again. “Wife, I was wrong. I’ll be mindful next time.”
Her calls made Jiang Yumian unable to play dead anymore. She quickly raised her head and quickly covered Jing Xiaoyan’s mouth.
Before she could speak, she met her eyes, which were smiling. She quickly covered her other hand over her eyes. Only when both her mouth and eyes were covered did she feel relieved.
She sat up, pressing her down, and said directly, “You haven’t even figured out how to be a good Older Sister and you want to be a wife? Dream on?”
Sensing that her lips moved slightly, Jiang Yumian tightened the hand covering her mouth, refusing to let her speak, and continued, “Hurry up and give me back my good Older Sister!”
“Give me back my considerate and gentle good Older Sister.”
Only after saying that did Jiang Yumian try to uncover Jing Xiaoyan’s mouth, but her eyes remained covered. She knew her face must be completely red now, so she didn’t intend to let Jing Xiaoyan see it.
Jing Xiaoyan opened her mouth, catching her breath. She took a moment to breathe. “What if I give her back?”
Jiang Yumian sneered. “Although I can’t be on the bottom, Older Sister can! If you give me back Older Sister, she won’t renege and won’t deny me.”
She was about to succeed yesterday, and she was pressed back down. That was too much.
Jing Xiaoyan licked her lips under her gaze, then smiled. “Who said Older Sister should be gentle and obedient?”
Jiang Yumian choked. That made a little sense.
She blinked. “But, but you used to be!”
The curve of Jing Xiaoyan’s lips deepened. “I’ve always been this way. I just couldn’t chase you without being shameless.”
Jiang Yumian was momentarily bewildered. Hearing her words, it seemed very true.
She pondered for a few seconds. She understood a little. The feeling when texting Jing Xiaoyan with her two different WeChat accounts these past two days was also different. It was probably because of her own bias.
Figuring it out, Jiang Yumian slightly loosened the hand covering her eyes, but didn’t completely let go, just loosely resting it on her eyelids.
She cleared her throat, glancing at the person lying down. “Then I want you to be on the bottom today. Do you agree?”
After saying that, her face blushed, and she closed her eyes, waiting for Jing Xiaoyan’s answer.
Jing Xiaoyan blinked. Her long eyelashes fluttered, brushing against Jiang Yumian’s palm. She didn’t hesitate, quickly agreeing. “Sure. Do you even need to ask about this?”
She couldn’t be more eager. She really thought that what Chu Qianyue said was right. Being on the bottom was good, but sometimes she just couldn’t control herself from pushing Jiang Yumian down.
Jing Xiaoyan waited for two seconds, moved Jiang Yumian’s hand away from her eyes, and blinked, looking at Jiang Yumian with anticipation. “How about right now?”
She thought for a moment and added, “I’ve locked the door.”
Jiang Yumian pulled her hand back, blushing. She lifted the blanket and got out of bed, her voice feigning calmness. “No. Not in broad daylight.”
Jing Xiaoyan lay on the bed, propping herself up. She sighed with some regret. That was a lot of excitement for nothing.
She reached out and grabbed Jiang Yumian’s wrist, still wanting to struggle. “Are you unable to perform?”
Jiang Yumian pulled her hand, pulling her up. “Stop trying to provoke me. You know best whether I can perform or not. There’s something urgent we need to deal with. Stop lying down.”
“What is it?” Jing Xiaoyan got up from the bed, confused.
“After you terminated your contract, your fans attacked the official Weibo, suspecting you were wronged at the company.” Jiang Yumian sighed, a hint of impatience in her tone. “That Zhang Yan, he posted on Weibo an hour ago, saying he’s leaving the industry.”
With the two incidents happening together, it was hard for the outside world not to connect them. Many fans suspected Jing Xiaoyan was also leaving the industry, and rumors about her relationship with Zhang Yan started circulating. There were all sorts of claims.
Jing Xiaoyan frowned, getting up as well. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”
Jiang Yumian twitched her mouth. “Did you give me a chance to speak?”
As soon as she came in, she hugged her, and then pushed her down. Even a deity couldn’t stop her.
Jing Xiaoyan thought about it and blinked. “Mhm… I guess not.”
Jing Xiaoyan picked up her phone and turned it back on. Notification sounds kept coming in. Sister Guan didn’t know her specific situation and didn’t dare to respond. The online discussion couldn’t be suppressed.
“This Zhang Yan, does he think you terminated your contract to go abroad with your dad?”
Jiang Yumian’s tone was particularly unpleasant. She was visibly annoyed looking at the trending topics.
A few of the trending topics were clearly bought. One suggested they were in a suspected relationship, and another even directly said they were both leaving the industry to get married abroad.
When she ran out of the room, she received a call from Su Mumu, who briefly explained the situation, asking what was going on and telling her to check the hot search.
She hadn’t had a chance to look then, and now that she saw it, she was fuming.
Hearing her question, Jing Xiaoyan casually nodded. “Mhm, probably. He was going to leave the industry anyway. Now he’s just moving it up and piggybacking on the topic.”
Not responding to the online rumors showed what his intention was.
Jiang Yumian hummed softly.
Knowing Jiang Yumian was unhappy, Jing Xiaoyan felt secretly delighted. She casually opened Weibo. “It’s fine. I’ll just post something on Weibo.”
She quickly opened Weibo and started typing.
Jing Xiaoyan V: Huh? [Incomprehensible.jpg]
Jiang Yumian looked at the Weibo post she made, and the emoji made with a picture of Jiang Xiaoyan. Her head was full of dark lines.
“Excuse me, what are you doing? What does this mean?”
Jing Xiaoyan tossed her phone aside, raised an eyebrow, and said proudly, “It means a lot of things.”
Jiang Yumian stared at the phone. She quickly understood and liked her post.
Before long, the top trending topic changed again. Jing Xiaoyan’s single Weibo post immediately shifted the direction of public opinion.
The top three comments under her Weibo post had tens of thousands of likes, full of sarcasm.
[Jing Xiaoyan: Huh? I’m leaving the industry? How come I didn’t know?]
[Jing Xiaoyan: Huh? I’m in a relationship? How come I didn’t know?]
[Jing Xiaoyan: Huh? I’m getting married? How come I didn’t know?]
Jing Xiaoyan handed her phone to Jiang Yumian, looking proud. “See? My fans are all very smart. Zhang Yan hasn’t said anything for so long, so he’s definitely going to be criticized by netizens.”
Jiang Yumian raised an eyebrow and deliberately snorted. “You didn’t respond directly.”
Jing Xiaoyan lightly clicked her tongue. “Then how about this? I’ll like this comment.”
After saying that, her finger pressed down, liking the first comment.
Jiang Yumian pointed at her phone, continuing to find fault. “What about the other two?”
Jing Xiaoyan turned her head to look at her, saying seriously, “These two are wrong. I actually do know about them.”
Although she was already very happy from being pampered, Jiang Yumian’s expression brightened even more when she heard her say that.
She tried hard to suppress the smile at the corner of her mouth, cleared her throat, and continued to urge, “If you don’t respond to these two, what if they misunderstand that you’re really dating him? You should like those too.”
If she explained clearly, she wouldn’t get angry. She wasn’t an unreasonable person.
However, Jing Xiaoyan’s next action startled her.
She did respond, but not by liking; she replied directly.
Jing Xiaoyan V: This one is wrong. I know. I’m dating Jiang Yumian (dog-head.jpg)
Jing Xiaoyan V: This one is also wrong. I also know. I’m going abroad to marry Jiang Yumian (dog-head.jpg)
Jiang Yumian was so scared that she almost choked. She snatched Jing Xiaoyan’s phone and checked it repeatedly. She was almost desperate enough to perform first aid on her.
“Jing Xiaoyan!”
She was about to leave the industry, so she naturally didn’t care if their relationship was discovered, but Jing Xiaoyan was different. She still needed to continue in the entertainment industry.
Now that she had done this, she was really going crazy. Jiang Yumian’s eyelids were twitching.
Before Jiang Yumian could scold her, Jing Xiaoyan quickly said, “I added the dog-head emoji at the end!”
Jiang Yumian took a deep breath and pushed her head. “You look like a dog’s head!”
Although she was angry, hearing her reminder, Jiang Yumian still calmed down.
She threw the phone back into Jing Xiaoyan’s arms and said crossly, “Take it back. This time the dog-head emoji saved your dog’s life. Don’t do this again next time.”
Jing Xiaoyan looked a little wronged. “Our relationship is out in the open. What if we reveal it?”
Jiang Yumian glanced at her. “Don’t you know the potential consequences?”
She added, “It won’t affect me, but you know how much it will affect you. Unless you don’t want to continue in the industry.”
Jing Xiaoyan opened her mouth. “I really don’t know how big the impact will be because no one has been bold enough to go public before.”
Jiang Yumian frowned slightly, about to lecture her, when she heard her say, “But we can be the first.”
Jiang Yumian was stunned. She stared at the phone in silence. A few seconds later, she flatly refused. “No.”
She would probably leave the industry then. She couldn’t let Jing Xiaoyan take the risk alone.
Jing Xiaoyan didn’t have high hopes that she would agree. She just hugged her and smiled. “We can talk about it later. Let’s just go with the flow.”
Her intention for saying that was also to prevent Jiang Yumian from being too self-blaming for not protecting her if they were discovered later, especially since she would still be a public figure and would certainly be discussed.
If she said she didn’t care now, if they were discovered later, Jiang Yumian wouldn’t have to worry so much, and they could just take it as fate.
Jiang Yumian sighed softly, resting her face on Jing Xiaoyan’s shoulder. “Alright, let’s go with the flow.”
Jing Xiaoyan placed her phone on the bedside table.
“Since the matter is resolved, can we continue?”
Jiang Yumian was stunned. She looked up at her. “Continue what?”
Jing Xiaoyan answered her with action, reaching out to take off Jiang Yumian’s clothes.
Jiang Yumian held her breath, looking at her. “Can you think of something else!”
