Ming Fei is hopelessly in love with her stepsister, Fu Zhisu.
Ming Fei feels like a lonely moon reflecting on a cold lake, her “Bright Moon” only sees her as a sister. Terrified that a confession would ruin their bond forever, Ming Fei never dared to cross the line. That is, until she accidentally stumbled upon a post on Fu Zhisu’s phone offering custom voice acting commissions.

Despite the crushing loneliness that followed each moment of artificial intimacy, Ming Fei couldn’t stop. She edited all the clips into a single audio file to listen to as “dream material,” imagining scenes where her sister would drive her into a daze.
She was listening to it even on the night Fu Zhisu came home for the holidays. Ming Fei crawled under her covers and hit play, only to realize there was no sound. Before she could figure out why, a knock came at the door.
Fu Zhisu stood outside, her voice low and raspy: “Xiao Fei, open the door. Your Bluetooth headphones… connected to the wrong device.”
She was doomed! How do you explain a custom erotic audio clip of your sister to said sister? “Sister, let me explain! I… I have this friend!”
Ming Fei didn’t know if Fu Zhisu believed that pathetic lie, but she soon accidentally discovered Fu Zhisu’s diary:
I don’t understand why Xiao Fei is always so physically affectionate with me. Is that just how straight girls act? All I know is we can’t be together. She sees me as a sister; if she knew I wanted to devour her, she’d run away in fear. Xiao Fei cannot be allowed to run.
