- Chapter 19 - I Have Something Absolutely Massive to Tell You!
Perhaps due to his subconscious thoughts during the day, Shu Xing had a rare erotic dream. The object of the dream was Yu Hui. He had a blurred face but a physique with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. In the dream, he flipped Shu Xing over and over again.
The dream felt incredibly real, so much so that the sensation of contraction deep within his hips lingered after he woke, and the front and back of his underwear were soaked. Despite his mental resistance to meeting Yu Hui in person, his body seemed unable to resist the urge for friction. Shu Xing’s face flushed bright red as he realized he was actually such a lecherous little virgin.
Today was the day the high school class group had planned to celebrate their former homeroom teacher’s birthday. Since many people had classes during the day, the dinner was set for the evening.
Shu Xing did not drive the car Yu Hui gave him to school today. Entering the campus required registering the plate, and since the coupe did not have its plates yet, it could not be approved. Shu Xing figured he would wait until they met in person and the car’s title was transferred to his name before driving it to school to show off properly. When that time came, he would definitely be like Xi Yang: enter through the furthest south gate, circle around the entire campus before arriving at the men’s dormitory, and then lean against the car pretending to make two very long phone calls.
The specialized course today did not require groups, so Shu Xing finally did not have to sit face to face with Xi Yang. Following the recent late arrival incident, Shu Xing found Xi Yang’s face annoying to look at lately. Perhaps because Shu Xing’s displeasure was so obvious, Cheng Xinyu and He Wennan did not force him to join them for lunch today.
With no classes in the afternoon, Shu Xing returned to his apartment early. Thinking about the reunion tonight, he coordinated the most expensive clothes in his wardrobe and made sure to put on the watch that usually sat on his nightstand.
Although Shu Xing was very handsome, he was not particularly good at grooming himself. His beautiful face relied entirely on his fair skin and exquisite features. Worried he would not be able to display his full charm today, he specifically sought out an image design center and spent a large sum of money to get his hair styled and a proper male makeup look applied.
While he was getting styled, the makeup artist kept praising his looks. Perhaps because he had paid so much, the artist praised everything from his eyes and eyebrows down to his nail beds, which he claimed were “full and perfect.” The overwhelming praise left Shu Xing feeling a bit flustered.
After the makeup was done, Shu Xing looked at himself in the mirror. His hair had been styled to be fluffier and slightly parted. The makeup on his eyes was light. His aegyo-sal was naturally full, and combined with his bright, light colored eyes, his gaze looked innocent and pure. Looking in the mirror, the ring of white light made his skin look even more translucent. However, he was not sure what the makeup artist was thinking by giving him such a pink lipstick. Shu Xing disliked the sticky feeling on his lips and used a wet wipe to remove the excess until only a faint residue remained.
The makeup artist admired his masterpiece from the side, repeating “so beautiful” over and over. After the compliments, he did not forget to pull out his phone and politely ask for Shu Xing’s WeChat, hoping to invite him as a makeup model next time.
Shu Xing loitered at the design center for a while, eventually choosing to arrive at the restaurant at the busiest possible time. He did not know who chose this place, but the parking area was not near the main entrance. How was he supposed to show off his car?
The valet at the entrance saw Shu Xing stop in the driveway and eagerly ran over to ask if he needed parking services. Shu Xing dawdled in the car for a moment, only getting out with a smile once he saw a familiar face in the rearview mirror. He straightened his back with a touch of nobility and gave a slight nod, placing the keys gently in the valet’s hand.
“Please bring the keys to me after you have parked. I am in private room S01,” he said slowly. Noticing the valet’s slightly stunned expression, he explained with a smile, “I have OCD. I feel uncomfortable if my car keys are not with me. So, thank you for your help.”
Seeing Shu Xing’s smile, which felt like a spring breeze, the valet did not care about the trouble. He quickly withdrew his briefly infatuated gaze and nodded. “Of course, of course. No trouble at all. Please go inside.”
Shu Xing nodded, but he did not leave immediately. He pretended he had left something in the car. After searching for a few seconds, a familiar voice sounded behind him.
“Whoa, is this not the new energy coupe released at the end of last year? So cool!” The person approached, first eyeing the car curiously. Upon discovering Shu Xing in the driver’s seat, he said somewhat acerbicly, “Oh, if it is not little Shu!”
Shu Xing stepped out of the driver’s seat as the valet helped close the door behind him. He gave a polite greeting, “Hao Jianjian, long time no see.”
This guy was a notorious fence sitter from their class who only hung out with whoever was wealthy. Back in school, there was a transfer student whose family owned a hotel chain, and Jianjian had followed him around like a lapdog for over a year. He had always looked down on Shu Xing after his family went bankrupt. He pursed his lips, scanning Shu Xing’s outfit from top to bottom. Once he locked onto the designer clothes and the sparkling watch on his wrist, he asked uncertainly, “You drove this here? Where did you rent it?”
“Does it need to be rented?” Shu Xing tilted his head and smiled at the man. He did not offer an elaborate explanation, only saying airily, “I bought it, of course.”
“Holy crap!” The look in Hao Jianjian’s eyes brightened significantly. He followed Shu Xing into the hotel, prying for info. “Did your dad buy it for you?”
Shu Xing thought about how much money Yu Hui had given him. His sugar daddy was still a daddy in a sense, so he replied, “Yes.”
“What was the out the door price?”
Shu Xing mimicked Yu Hui’s tone. “Not expensive. Less than a million.”
“Holy crap!” Seeing Shu Xing enter the elevator, Hao Jianjian squeezed in with him, trying to act close. “You live at university, so you probably do not use the car much, right? When you have time, let me borrow it for a few days?”
The elevator doors opened. Shu Xing glanced at him but did not reply, following the hostess toward the private room. Failing to get close on his first attempt, Hao Jianjian felt he had lost face. He bared his teeth and muttered dismissively at Shu Xing’s back, “Damn, what is he so smug about!”
Many people had already arrived when Shu Xing entered. The private room was divided into two sections. The left section was almost full. Shu Xing saw someone waving at him, gesturing for him to sit there. After realizing it was Song Tianyi, Shu Xing calmly looked away as if he had not seen him and sat directly in the right section. He was only here to show off today and did not want to be too close to Song Tianyi.
Shu Xing was not sure if Xi Yang had talked to Song Tianyi about his life at university. He knew Tianyi had a big mouth, so it was better to avoid him to prevent his showing off from crashing and burning.
Once everyone was seated, the valet, as Shu Xing had planned, returned the car keys to him in front of everyone. A car costing less than a million might not be top tier to some, but it was enough to make half the classmates envious. Combined with his social media posts, Shu Xing’s persona as a second generation rich kid whose family made a comeback remained intact.
Previously, many people privately suspected that Shu Xing’s social media photos were stolen. But seeing the watch on his wrist today, which was identical to the one in his posts, their gazes were no longer filled with contempt.
However, there were still skeptics. Hao Jianjian, for instance, sat there trying to figure out how Shu Xing’s family got rich again so quickly. During the meal, he kept glancing at Shu Xing in the other section. Looking at that face which outshone everyone else, Jianjian finally reached a conclusion: This guy must be a kept man!
Because someone had closed the door between the sections, and the homeroom teacher was not sitting on the left, several people started gossiping.
“I saw that energy coupe downstairs when I came in. It is that model that just came out. I did not expect it to be Shu Xing’s.” “Were the pre orders not supposed to have a year long waitlist? How is he driving it already?” “I am so jealous. He has a car in university. Unlike me, my family is so stingy. They say they will wait until I graduate!” “I remember that car costs quite a bit. I thought everyone’s first car would be a 400,000 or 500,000 yuan BMW or Audi. When did his family get so rich?”
Hao Jianjian, seeing an opening, chimed in. “His family definitely did not buy it. Look at him. What kind of guy is that pale and dresses that pretty? He is clearly a gay, and the gay scene is very wild. There are plenty of old rich men. Maybe…”
Song Tianyi, who was on good terms with Shu Xing and knew his childhood friend was Shu Xing’s roommate, could not stand hearing people talk behind his back.
“So, you are a gay?” Song Tianyi put down his chopsticks, his gaze intensely fixed on Hao Jianjian.
Jianjian was stunned by the glare and said guiltily, “I said Shu Xing is a gay. What does that have to do with me?”
Song Tianyi asked, “If it has nothing to do with you, how do you know the gay scene is ‘wild’?”
“I, I, I…”
Song Tianyi sneered. “Ah, I get it. You are just making things up.”
“No, why are you defending Shu Xing?”
Song Tianyi feigned surprise. “Did I mention Shu Xing in any of my sentences?”
Hao Jianjian: “Crap, Song Tianyi, you…”
Someone noticed the atmosphere was getting tense and stepped in to mediate. “Alright, alright. It is a rare reunion and it is the teacher’s birthday. He is sitting right next door. Let us not talk about this nonsense. Let us have a drink!”
Most of the guys were drinking. Hao Jianjian, having been snubbed by Shu Xing and now shut down by Song Tianyi, was furious. To make matters worse, Song Tianyi kept glaring at him while they drank. Unable to vent his anger, Jianjian used the excuse of toasting to apologize to make Tianyi drink several glasses of hard liquor.
Once Song Tianyi was sufficiently drunk, someone else moved into the seat next to him. That person nudged Tianyi’s arm and held up a phone.
“I am not trying to start trouble or talk bad about anyone, but I think Jianjian was right. Look at Shu Xing’s social media posts.” “This restaurant, this watch, and look at these game sets. I have played this game too. This set’s colors alone would cost over 100,000 yuan to obtain, let alone if he paid to customize them.” “I do not agree with Jianjian talking behind his back, and I know you and Shu Xing are close, but you are so innocent. Do not think too highly of him.”
Song Tianyi was drunk, his vision blurry. He squinted hard, trying to see the stats on the game set in the screenshot.
01, 99,999, 9.
Such perfect stats. It was a color he had never managed to roll. And it was serial number 01. That serial number…
The person beside him kept talking, but Song Tianyi heard nothing. He focused on zooming in on the screenshot. He remembered that Xi Yang had bought this specific set for his online partner, and he had specifically paid a high price for serial number 01. He had even watched the customization process with his own eyes.
Scrolling further down, there were several days’ worth of screenshots showing off top tier gear. When he clicked on one, he even noticed the owner’s game ID. Although it only showed the character “Shu,” he did not need to guess. The full ID was “Hang Shu.”
Shu Xing is Hang Shu?
Is this fate for real?
Song Tianyi was not sure if it was the liquor, but his heart was pounding so hard it felt like it would burst through his ribs. Instinct told him that Xi Yang definitely did not know about this yet. Ignoring his spinning head, he pulled out his phone and sent a message to Xi Yang.
Song Tianyi: “I have something absolutely massive to tell you!!!!!!”
Song Tianyi: [Location]
Song Tianyi: “Come pick me up immediately! I will tell you in person!!!!”
