Bullying The Sister-In-Law - Chapter 41
The subway was not crowded in this villa area. Liu Chengxu brushed Su Zhiluo’s hair behind her ear, took out the necklace, and put it around her neck. It was a little cool, and she held it in her hand until it warmed up before tucking it into Su Zhiluo’s collar.
This time, she also bought a gold necklace with a diamond pendant in the center, which was more expensive than the previous one. Su Zhiluo used her phone to check it in the reflection. Liu Chengxu leaned over, and Su Zhiluo extended her hand to take several photos until the crowd grew larger, then she put the phone away.
Su Zhiluo placed her hand on Liu Chengxu’s, then gripped it and put it in her own pocket, playing with her thumb.
In the north, few people use umbrellas in the snow; at most, they wear hats to keep warm. They walked side-by-side on the snowy street, surrounded by people rushing by. Su Zhiluo felt the invading chill, so she pulled Liu Chengxu into a shopping mall to choose a scarf.
Liu Chengxu took a fancy to a red cashmere scarf and insisted on wearing it with Su Zhiluo. Their breaths were within close proximity. It was a pity the scarf wasn’t long enough; otherwise, she truly wanted to wrap around the other person and walk out like that.
In the end, Su Zhiluo chose a plaid scarf, and Liu Chengxu wore the red one. Su Zhiluo bought her a candied fruit skewer covered in rock sugar.
For the first bite, Liu Chengxu always offered it to Su Zhiluo’s lips first.
Su Zhiluo said, “Strawberries are delicious.”
Liu Chengxu went to a fruit shop to pick out strawberries and cherries. Su Zhiluo secretly bought movie tickets while she was selecting the fruit. When Liu Chengxu came out with the fruit box, she pretended to say she had bought movie tickets. Seeing Liu Chengxu’s happiness, she felt sweet inside too.
They sat side-by-side in the darkness, their hands naturally clasped, occasionally whispering about the plot.
When the movie ended, the city was covered in a light layer of snow. Liu Chengxu placed a hot milk tea into Su Zhiluo’s palm to warm her hands, while she herself looked down at her phone. Su Zhiluo curiously glanced over.
Liu Chengxu was chatting enthusiastically in a group chat, the screen filled with “my sister-in-law, my sister-in-law.” The faint light of the screen made her smiling eyes particularly bright.
Liu Chengxu: Happiness. I feel loved by my sister-in-law, loved, so loved.
Meng Zhengyue: Sigh.
Liu Chengxu: What’s wrong? Want your stepdaughter to love you a little?
Cha Baomei: Sigh.
Liu Chengxu: Why are you sighing?
Cha Baomei: Haven’t you noticed? I’m the only single one, I feel completely out of place with you guys.
Liu Chengxu: Is your sister back?
Cha Baomei: She’s right next to me. All of you, I didn’t realize you were so perverted when we were studying.
Meng Zhengyue, you were very normal in college, why did you become so strange later?
Meng Zhengyue: I’m actually very normal.
Su Zhiluo asked, “Are your friends not in touch with their families now?”
Liu Chengxu said, “Mmm, she’s cut ties with her family. Around sophomore year, her mother’s subsequent child needed surgery or something, and they came to ask her for money. She hasn’t been in touch with them much since.”
Su Zhiluo was surprised: “She was only a sophomore, and they asked her for money?”
“Yeah. She gave it to them, saying it was her final break-off fee, and she wouldn’t feel guilty towards her mother anymore.”
That sounded quite sad.
Su Zhiluo said, “Ask them to come over for New Year’s dinner. It’ll be boring with just the two of us.”
“Okay.”
Su Zhiluo was quite curious about Meng Zhengyue and her stepdaughter.
Liu Chengxu’s work kept her busy until a few days before the New Year. Su Zhiluo went with her every time, bringing her food, and warming her hands when she was cold.
Su Zhiluo was quite reserved, but Liu Chengxu openly told everyone that this was her girlfriend, although those words hadn’t yet reached Su Zhiluo’s ears.
Liu Chengxu could feel her sister-in-law’s change; she would actively take her hand. The first few times, she’d find an excuse, and she had to stare at Liu Chengxu for a while before daring to reach out. Liu Chengxu always pretended not to notice, waiting for her to build up the courage.
Since they were inviting people over for dinner, Su Zhiluo and Liu Chengxu bought a lot of New Year’s goods. They cleaned the house inside and out, sweeping cobwebs and wiping windows—both of them wearing gloves while doing it—and then putting up the Spring Festival couplets.
Su Zhiluo thought about the young girls coming over and specifically went out to buy a cake.
In the evening, the two of them prepared the ingredients for the dishes they planned to make.
Liu Chengxu asked, “Isn’t Chang Ruyin coming?”
Su Zhiluo saw the puzzled look on her face and explained, “They have both met each other’s parents, and their families agreed to their relationship. Chang Ruyin is definitely going to her home for the New Year.”
Liu Chengxu said, “That developed quite fast.”
Su Zhiluo thought to herself: It’s not fast; they’ve been dating for five years now.
On New Year’s Eve, the two of them curled up in bed watching the Spring Festival Gala. Liu Chengxu wasn’t a peaceful sleeper and always loved to tuck her hand into Su Zhiluo’s top. Su Zhiluo had been sore from her kneading these past few days, so she pushed her away. Liu Chengxu wrapped herself around her again, and the two of them rubbed against each other.
There were fewer residents in this area than before, and with the ban on fireworks, the night was exceptionally quiet. Liu Chengxu hadn’t planned to prolong their intimacy. After kissing her for a while, she let Su Zhiluo sit on her waist, allowing her to take her time and rub against her.
Who knew that in the middle of the night, some adult brought their child to secretly set off firecrackers nearby? Su Zhiluo was startled and shivered slightly. She rested her chin on Liu Chengxu’s shoulder and whispered a request, “Why don’t we sleep first… there are people outside.”
That trembling plea only made it harder for Liu Chengxu to control herself. She was inexplicably compelled to lightly press her fingertip onto Su Zhiluo’s lips.
This sudden action surprised even Liu Chengxu, and she nervously watched Su Zhiluo’s reaction. Su Zhiluo didn’t resist; instead, she gently sucked on her fingertip.
Liu Chengxu’s fingertip went numb. She stroked Su Zhiluo’s tongue with two fingers, her voice husky, “Sister-in-law, bite me.”
This name could always evoke a hidden joy, yet it also kept her somewhat lucid. Su Zhiluo didn’t follow the instruction. Liu Chengxu cautiously changed her address, “Jiejie… bite me.”
Su Zhiluo trembled lightly, her face flushed as she bit down on Liu Chengxu’s finger. Liu Chengxu instantly lost control of her emotions. Her fingertip lingered in the warm oral cavity, quickly pushing both of them to the peak of pleasure.
Su Zhiluo lay on top of her, catching her breath.
The firecrackers outside kept startling her, and Su Zhiluo’s drowsiness was completely blown away.
She quickly sobered up, propped herself up, and looked down at Liu Chengxu, saying, “What were you doing just now?”
Liu Chengxu dodged the question: “Calling you Jiejie, what’s wrong with that… everyone outside calls you that.”
“No, I wasn’t talking about that. I meant putting your finger in my mouth…” As she spoke, the heat that had just subsided on Su Zhiluo’s face rose again. Blushing, she glared indignantly at Liu Chengxu.
Liu Chengxu said, “Trying out new tricks.”
Su Zhiluo was speechless for a moment. She put her finger on Liu Chengxu’s lips and said, “You lick me, see how it feels…”
Liu Chengxu opened her mouth, first licking her fingertip, then tracing along her palm, and finally biting her fingertip. Su Zhiluo was startled and tried to pull away, but Liu Chengxu wouldn’t let her. “You…”
Liu Chengxu didn’t feel any shame; she even teased with her tongue, causing Su Zhiluo’s body to go numb and collapse beside her.
Liu Chengxu said, “See? I told you, I couldn’t control it.”
Su Zhiluo was silent.
Liu Chengxu whispered in her ear, “Do you want to keep playing with me? I’m a lot of fun.”
The sound of firecrackers outside rang out again, making Su Zhiluo shiver. Her voice was low and small, which only made Liu Chengxu want more.
She really wanted to go curse the jerks setting off fireworks outside.
Su Zhiluo pursed her lips, a smile on her face, and reached out to pinch Liu Chengxu’s thigh.
“I’ll help you.”
The fireworks outside continued intermittently until deep into the night. Liu Chengxu nestled in Su Zhiluo’s arms, receiving several gentle kisses, all meant to soothe her to sleep. However, they only made her more excited, tossing and turning restlessly.
A small lamp remained lit all night in the room, which was an old custom said to be auspicious in her hometown.
During their leanest years in the winter, Liu Chengxu would snap the glow sticks from lollipops and stick them in a pen holder. The faint green light illuminated the cramped rental room, becoming a beacon in their darkness.
This was because Su Zhiluo had once said: If New Year’s Eve is still pitch black, it feels like there’s no hope for the future.
Su Zhiluo thought: Liu Chengxu’s arrival in her life was a rare and unexpected joy.
Su Zhiluo held her tighter.
Since they had guests coming, Su Zhiluo got up early to cook. Liu Chengxu regretted inviting Meng Zhengyue over for dinner and climbed out of bed with her.
She had started stewing the chicken the night before. Four people wouldn’t eat too much, so Su Zhiluo stir-fried preserved sausages and beef, along with garlic shoots, long beans, and pork with potatoes; she heard the little stepdaughter liked potatoes.
Liu Chengxu was better at cooking fish. After Su Zhiluo finished her part, she kept the food warm and let Liu Chengxu pan-fry three spicy minced fish chopped chili carp.
Everything was prepared. Liu Chengxu took off her apron and hugged her, murmuring affectionately, “Do you want to go sleep for a bit?”
“No need.” Su Zhiluo said, “I’m not that tired.”
Just as she spoke, there was a knock at the door. Meng Zhengyue had arrived with her stepdaughter. Su Zhiluo quickly pushed Liu Chengxu away, telling her to be proper.
When the door opened, Su Zhiluo was startled by the sight.
Meng Zhengyue’s stepdaughter was quite tall, looking about 18 or 19 years old, and she reached out to hook Meng Zhengyue’s arm, calling her, “Mommy.”
Su Zhiluo’s heart skipped a beat. Oh no, Meng Zhengyue is going to be eaten alive.
