- Chapter 28 - Liu Chengxu Had Met Su Zhiluo a Long Time Ago
Liu Chengxu had seen Su Zhiluo do it a long time ago. A single finger could make the flower wake (blossom). She gently rubbed the bud. A summer bud opens easily; two touches would show the intention of blooming.
However, since Liu Chengxu was doing it for her, she couldn’t quite control her strength, and it felt a bit dry. She needed to wet it slightly to help the flower wake.
Liu Chengxu leaned against her back, her forehead resting on Su Zhiluo’s shoulder. Su Zhiluo couldn’t help but lecture her, “Don’t pretend you don’t understand me every time I talk to you.”
Su Zhiluo had clearly told her the soundproofing was poor and not to let others hear, but Liu Chengxu didn’t know how to restrain herself, as if she insisted on making some noise.
Liu Chengxu hummed an “Mhm,” and said, “I know, I’ll be gentle.”
Su Zhiluo truly didn’t want any sound, so she grabbed a pillow, draped it over her forehead, and buried herself in a small space to breathe.
With her vision obscured, her other senses became much sharper. Sensing Liu Chengxu’s hand still exploring downwards, Su Zhiluo tightly pressed down on her wrist.
“Just wet it a little,” Liu Chengxu whispered.
Su Zhiluo’s fingertips tightened, painfully squeezing Liu Chengxu’s wrist bone. Looking down, Liu Chengxu’s thumb was hooked on the edge of the black lace. This was her newly bought lingerie—a light pink base embroidered with black intertwining vines.
Liu Chengxu’s fingertip skillfully hooked the edge, gathering a little moisture. Su Zhiluo’s tense fingers finally, slowly loosened.
Her phone flashed with another notification.
The light gradually brightened. Su Zhiluo could clearly see Liu Chengxu’s fingers moving, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but always with a steady rhythm, just like when she efficiently packed clothes.
The latest alert showed that what was originally a one-day stay-at-home order now might be two days, based on the typhoon’s path.
Liu Chengxu’s lips pressed lightly against Su Zhiluo’s cheek. The light was a little harsh; she squinted, then quickly closed her eyes again.
Su Zhiluo indulged in the pleasure of the unrestrained atmosphere.
Su Zhiluo’s hand was still resting on Liu Chengxu’s wrist, feeling the tension in her arm muscles. She couldn’t explain why she asked the next question; she should have just continued to play deaf and dumb.
“Are you… not planning on dating in the future?”
“No.” Liu Chengxu’s voice was low, carrying a warm breath. “You clearly know who I want to date.”
Su Zhiluo’s throat tightened. She bit down hard on her lip to swallow the uncontrollable whimper.
Liu Chengxu looked up and gave her cheek a light kiss: “Then what about Saozi (Sister-in-law)? Do you want to date someone else? If people knew about us like this… it wouldn’t look very good.”
Su Zhiluo had actually wanted to ask this, but she was too embarrassed to open her mouth. When Liu Chengxu kissed her, she intentionally intensified the pressure. Su Zhiluo nudged her with her elbow, her voice tinged with a sob, “Don’t do this.”
She regretted it now. She shouldn’t have asked that question, and she shouldn’t have let Liu Chengxu do this.
Liu Chengxu kissed her lips the moment she turned her head. Su Zhiluo was completely controlled by her. When they finally broke apart, Liu Chengxu whispered in her ear: “I’ll do the action for you. Do you want it?”
Su Zhiluo’s heart skipped a beat. What kind of word was that?
Why couldn’t she say it a little nicer, a little more tactfully?
Yet, Liu Chengxu pressed against her shoulder again, “Saozi.”
Su Zhiluo had a strong feeling that Liu Chengxu wanted to strip away her sense of shame.
“Then take your finger away.”
Liu Chengxu kept pressing with one finger but was afraid to go inside, making her uncomfortable.
Liu Chengxu said, “I don’t dare to poke inside.” She added, “I’m scared.”
Su Zhiluo was so self-conscious because of her words that she wanted to say, if I were you, I’d just finish it.
She exhaled muffledly, “Then stop doing it.”
Liu Chengxu said, “It’s so good at sucking.”
Su Zhiluo gasped.
Liu Chengxu quickly came up with a solution: “Just lick it until it’s wet.”
All of Su Zhiluo’s shame was brought forth by her. She now desperately wanted to kick Liu Chengxu off the bed.
Su Zhiluo tightly covered her mouth.
Despite all the resistance in her heart, she had to admit that Liu Chengxu’s lips and tongue were too skilled, always easily crushing her reason and making her lose control and sink into pleasure.
The moment she was about to be overwhelmed by the climax, a clear realization struck her: she was doing this with her sister-in-law. The intersection of immoral shame and physical pleasure made her bite her lower lip in distress.
Liu Chengxu propped herself up, gazing at Su Zhiluo’s flushed cheeks. When she saw her turn her head away, she gently turned Su Zhiluo’s face back, determined to see her aroused appearance clearly.
Su Zhiluo opened her eyes hazily, and in the shifting light and shadow, she saw Liu Chengxu’s focused face. She thought, from now on, she would remember this face every time she was aroused.
Liu Chengxu was simply too overbearing.
Su Zhiluo’s cheeks were damp with fine sweat. She was unconsciously parting her lips, breathing lightly. Liu Chengxu loved this look on her the most, as if all the pleasure originated because of her.
Su Zhiluo’s eyes shifted, full of seductive charm. The moment her gaze met Liu Chengxu’s, Liu Chengxu lowered her head and kissed her again.
Su Zhiluo was too sleepy to open her eyes. Maintaining a side-sleeping position, she vaguely thought she was back in Beishi’s winter due to the rising wind sound, and subconsciously nestled closer to Liu Chengxu.
Lying in this position for too long made her feel tired, so she groggily flipped over. Waking up in the middle of the night, she found Liu Chengxu was still awake.
Her voice was soft from sleepiness, and she asked vaguely, “Why aren’t you sleeping yet…”
Liu Chengxu mumbled something in a low voice that she didn’t quite catch, only feeling the other woman embrace her waist, and a light kiss land on her forehead. Su Zhiluo didn’t avoid it, letting the warm hand rest on her waist.
The next morning, Su Zhiluo woke up amidst a hazy warmth.
In the state between waking and sleeping, she felt like she was caught in a nightmare, until a soft touch came to her lips. Her eyelashes fluttered; just as she was about to be startled awake, she was enveloped by the familiar scent and instantly felt at ease.
It was Liu Chengxu.
As the kiss ended, Liu Chengxu turned and went into the bathroom.
Su Zhiluo raised her hand to lightly touch her kissed lips; they were a little dry.
She propped herself up to sit. The sound of trickling water came from the bathroom.
She didn’t kiss me at night, she changed it to the morning? Because she was afraid of making noise??
Should she be called clever?
Su Zhiluo was speechless at her own discovery.
Su Zhiluo got up and glanced next door from the doorway. Chang Ruyin was also awake, and she yawned, asking how Su Zhiluo slept.
“The wind was clanging loudly last night. I woke up a few times.”
Su Zhiluo replied with an “Mhm.” “I slept so soundly I thought I was spending the winter in Beishi.”
Chang Ruyin said, “I’ll make breakfast.”
“No need.” Liu Chengxu spoke from the bathroom to the outside. She said, “I’ll make it.”
Chang Ruyin also liked Liu Chengxu’s cooking. She quickly realized, “Is your Chengxu implying my cooking isn’t good?”
Just as Su Zhiluo was about to say no, Liu Chengxu replied from the bathroom, “My Saozi likes mine.”
“Such a puppy attribute, indeed,” Chang Ruyin remarked.
Su Zhiluo frowned, “Don’t project things from novels onto her.”
“I’m not,” Chang Ruyin said, “I’m just speaking the truth.”
Liu Chengxu came out after her shower, wearing a backless camisole with wide-leg pants. Her back was slender, the lines especially sexy, and she walked into the kitchen while drying her wet hair.
Chang Ruyin clicked her tongue from the side.
Su Zhiluo just watched her with a smile.
Liu Chengxu was the kind of vibrant, sporty beauty. Su Zhiluo couldn’t quite say why, but whenever someone complimented Liu Chengxu’s looks, a secret sense of pride would always swell up in her heart.
For breakfast, Liu Chengxu simply made tomato and egg noodles, added some lean meat, and served it with her own pickled spicy kimchi—it was quite appetizing.
While eating, Liu Chengxu pushed her phone over for Su Zhiluo to see. Su Zhiluo looked at it, confused, and asked, “What is this?”
The screen showed a very thick layer of clouds with a spiral vortex in the center.
“The eye of the typhoon.”
Chang Ruyin: “It looks like the outside is all stormy, but the weather inside is quite clear. This phenomenon is so magical.”
Liu Chengxu explained, “When the eye of the typhoon passes, the weather suddenly becomes calm, and you might even see blue sky and sun. However, this is only a brief respite; the storm is not over, and the most dangerous eyewall will strike again.”
“Oh,” Chang Ruyin said, “I read about that in novels, but I never understood what it meant. A lot of novels quote it.”
“The quieter it is, the more dangerous it is.”
“Then we can’t go out,” Su Zhiluo replied.
Liu Chengxu looked at Su Zhiluo, seemingly having something to say, but nothing was uttered.
The typhoon swirled for three days. They huddled together, watching movies for three days, studying for three days, and spending two late nights. The first night, Liu Chengxu played with Saozi, and the next, she enthusiastically invited Saozi to play with her.
An unspeakable heat always floated in the air. Liu Chengxu rested her chin on Su Zhiluo’s shoulder, leaning on her dependently. Su Zhiluo closed her eyes, her long lashes trembling, and she thought to herself: After the typhoon passes, will I still be able to hold myself back?
When they were finally able to go out, Su Zhiluo and Liu Chengxu both went for some fresh air. Being cooped up for so long made them feel a little uncomfortable.
There were quite a few people on the street, all heading to the supermarket and the wet market. Su Zhiluo wanted to eat shrimp, and Liu Chengxu went with her to buy it.
The streets were littered with broken branches and fallen leaves. Sanitation workers were busy cleaning up, and the air was filled with the sense of relief after a close call.
The two bought fresh produce at the supermarket, while Chang Ruyin went to the warehouse to check for damage. Before long, she sent a message saying that everything was intact and that packing and shipping could resume as normal that afternoon.
Back at home, Liu Chengxu spread her own bedding on the floor. Su Zhiluo sat on the edge of the bed, watching her, and then said, “Bring me your hiking backpack.”
Liu Chengxu went to fetch it.
Su Zhiluo had bought the bag for her. She was reluctant to replace it and said, “If I buy a new one, the things I carry will still get damaged, but this one can still be carried.”
Su Zhiluo fetched a needle and thread kit to mend it for her.
Su Zhiluo was soft-hearted, thinking, maybe I should just let her sleep on the bed. If Liu Chengxu pleaded with her right now, she would agree without principle.
Liu Chengxu finished making her bed and looked at her. “What’s wrong?”
Su Zhiluo: “I’ll take you out for a walk. Aren’t you going back soon?”
Liu Chengxu said, “You always say such sad things.”
Su Zhiluo said, “Where? I was just thinking that after working so hard for so long, we should go out, walk around, and relax.”
Liu Chengxu placed the pillow properly. “Saozi, when I graduate, I’ll come to Guangzhou.”
“What would you do in Guangzhou? There might not be suitable opportunities for you here.”
“If I start working, I won’t have time to see you, so we’ll only meet during the Lunar New Year, right? You’re renting a place in Beishi anyway.”
Su Zhiluo handed her phone to Liu Chengxu and said, “Calculate how much money we’ve earned this year.”
Liu Chengxu logged into her Saozi’s bank account and entered the password. The shop belonged to Su Zhiluo, and the profits were split 40/60 between her and Chang Ruyin. The initial investment was quite large, and the two had not yet split the money, agreeing to calculate it after the summer rush was over.
Liu Chengxu calculated item by item and asked, “Saozi, you have a remittance of three thousand yuan. What is that for?”
“For my third sister’s daughter. I asked about her, and her grades are quite good. Her father remarried and started having children again. I’m afraid her family won’t let her continue her studies. If it weren’t for my third sister, I’d still be stuck in that mountain village. I didn’t dare to give too much; for now, I’m having my other sister secretly give her some money each time.”
“Oh.”
Half an hour later, Liu Chengxu finished the calculation and handed the notebook to Su Zhiluo. Liu Chengxu’s records were very clear.
Su Zhiluo said, “You also need to deduct the labor costs and the factory costs.”
“Already done.”
They had been busy all year, only resting for a few days during the typhoon. Currently, Su Zhiluo’s own take-home was 150,000, which was a large sum of money.
Su Zhiluo was initially shocked, but quickly calmed down and said, “Then we should celebrate properly.”
“Saozi, you’re really amazing.” Liu Chengxu slowly moved closer to her Saozi and said, “A portion of our money was spent on the factory side. Later, when we’re not short of money, we can open our own factory. Didn’t you say last time that many people were looking to buy goods from us? If they like the clothes you make, we can try it. I can come help you, and just stay here.”
Su Zhiluo was nearly finished mending her bag, and she bit the thread to cut it, saying, “What you said makes sense.”
Su Zhiluo’s heart was stirred slightly. They had always been renting and didn’t have a home of their own..
