Chapter 30: The First World (End)
District A had the smallest population, excellent public security, and highly prosperous technology. District B had the largest population, lagging technology, and a chaotic society.
Wu Yao had listed some characteristics based on the information and felt that this world leaned toward a cyberpunk style. Now that he had truly entered District A, Wu Yao discovered it was completely different from what he had imagined.
The overall architectural style on both sides of the streets was basically the same as in District C, just with a few more flying cars and self-moving billboards.
“Paradise Bar! The most popular bar for young people! Come in and try it, guests!”
“Maike Gym! Safeguarding your physique! Only half a year to make you as ‘wealthy’ as Candidate Number Twelve! Sign up now for a 50% discount!”
A pedestrian finally struggled out of the encirclement of billboards, only to be chased by two particularly persistent billboards. Wu Yao could hear him shouting irritably even from inside the car, “I’m allergic to alcohol and I’m not signing up! Stop pestering me!”
“I’m not signing up!!!”
The system stood with hands on its hips, mocking the billboards, “Where we come from, this kind of artificial idiocy wouldn’t even pass inspection. Not only did these two survive, they even found jobs. The competitive pressure on Paradise Island is truly low.”
Comparing a system designed by a Transmigration company with the billboards of a small world was like a PhD mocking a one-day-old infant for not having a higher IQ. Wu Yao didn’t know what it had to be proud of.
“Do you like what you see? Yao.”
Noah poured a glass of red wine. “When the cycle ends and only the Perfect Kind People remain, the entire Paradise Island will become just like District A. At that time, you will become the person I trust most. You…” Noah paused slightly. “You will see the true Heaven with your own eyes.”
Wu Yao, who had been reacting coldly, finally showed a bit of interest in his words and began to converse with him proactively.
The system looked out the window with disdain, questioning why he was so focused on those idiotic billboards when he already had a smart old treasure like itself.
Wu Yao told it that the silly dog had likely already rescued Adam.
“You’re answering beside the point and talking nonsense! I was asking you—wait! Adam was found that quickly?!” Realizing the final battle was about to begin, the system rubbed its hands expectantly. “We can’t hit Noah in the dream world, but once we’re back in reality, I’m definitely going to beat him to a pulp!”
“No chance. I can’t get out; I can only let Shiyi be the proxy fighter.”
Can’t get out?
The system muttered the words a few times, its bean-shaped eyes widening in horror. “What do you mean? You only exist in the dream?”
Wu Yao gave a hum of affirmation.
“But isn’t what we’re doing right now supposed to be waking up the townspeople and escaping the dream? If the dream ends, you’ll be gone?”
“Theoretically, yes. Your ‘grilled brain’ isn’t a total loss.”
The system froze for a long while. “Then what will Wu Shiyi do when he wakes up and can’t find you? The little puppy will be so sad if his master is gone.”
“He’ll probably be sad for a day or two, then pull himself together and get back to his business. Time heals all; he’ll forget me soon enough. No need to worry about the mental value failing to meet the passing grade.”
The system’s eyes darted around frantically. It slammed the table hard. “Your silver tongue is better than mine, I can’t out-argue you, but I won’t allow the CP I ship to have a BE!”
“CP?”
“The ‘Stiff-lipped-soft-hearted-tsundere-master-uke x Sweet-talking-enthusiastic-canine-seme.’ Whatever relationship you two want to have is fine, anyway you’re both single, I’ll just stay in my own little corner and ship you guys hard!”
The system patted its chest, telling him not to worry—it would handle everything.
Wu Yao suddenly realized the system wasn’t stupid. It had clearly realized that the host’s identity having such a huge loophole was entirely caused by its own slacking. This was a major work error; if the higher-ups found out, this job would have been for nothing. It was shrewd and knew how to find excuses.
The small ball of light ran back and forth in the space to save its wallet. After diverting Noah’s attention once more, Wu Yao leaned back in his chair and continued to stare blankly out the window.
What would the silly dog do after he left?
There shouldn’t be much to worry about; Wu Shiyi was upright and enthusiastic, he surely had many friends. Without Paradise Island, Wu Yao would lose his value. A useless person, naturally, wouldn’t be important.
Nightlife on Paradise Island wasn’t rich. By 11 PM, most townspeople had fallen into a deep sleep.
A car avoided the main roads and drove out of District A, stopping in front of an abandoned factory in District C. A woman with a high ponytail stood at the door, waving at the vehicle.
The car door opened and an old man stepped out. “No. 11? What on earth is going on? Didn’t you say on the phone that something happened to Adam and told me to hurry…”
“No. 10 is indeed about to break. His mental state won’t hold much longer. You’re the last one to arrive, No. 5. Come inside to talk, and watch out for Noah.”
Noah?
No. 5’s body suddenly stiffened, and he was led into the factory by No. 11.
The factory’s power had long been cut. Seven people sat in a circle on the ground with a few candles in the center. The handsome man leading them was speaking in low tones with those around him. He patted a large dog with one hand and occasionally toyed with the iron collar around his neck with the other.
No. 3 whispered, “You’ve picked at it several times. If it’s uncomfortable, just take it off.”
Wu Shiyi shook his head and didn’t answer. His friend had just sent word that Noah had taken a long-haired man into District A. Noah had no intention of hiding his tracks; from the blurry image sent by the friend, the man was Wu Yao.
Wu Yao had begun the next step of the plan; he would stay by Noah’s side until the dream ended. This meant that if something went wrong on Wu Shiyi’s end, Noah would turn his spearhead toward Wu Yao.
Wu Shiyi lowered his gaze to hide his unease. When he looked up again, a calm, shallow smile was on his face. “Mr. Yang, please.”
He rose to greet the elder, No. 5, then sat back down. “No. 1 and No. 2 were murdered by Noah. Now only ten candidates remain. Everyone is here; we can begin.”
“I know you all have many questions. No. 8 and No. 9 will explain everything to everyone later. The artificial intelligence Noah monitors the entire Paradise Island. Although I have tried my best to avoid his eyes, tonight’s meeting is still fraught with danger. Noah could find this place at any time. For safety’s sake, I want to prioritize explaining the plan.”
Wu Shiyi distributed the pre-cut apples. “To strip Noah of his power and end the hibernation early, eleven candidates must apply simultaneously, with Adam, the manager of the Ark, making the final decision.”
“Now that No. 1 and No. 2 are dead and No. 10 has had a mental breakdown, ending the dream can only happen when the next cycle begins. Once Noah holds the initiative, he will clear our memories. If we cannot retain the memory of the cycle and forget this meeting, we will be trapped in the dream forever.”
The candidates ate the apples one after another. As the sweet juice flowed into their mouths, a bloody and cruel world gradually appeared before everyone. Shocked gazes swept around randomly, finally landing collectively on Adam.
Wu Shiyi’s steady voice rang out again in the empty factory, “Currently, my friend is distracting Noah. Now is the best chance; we can proactively start a new cycle.”
The candlelight reflected on Wu Shiyi’s resolute face. He pulled a gun from his coat and handed it to the excitedly rubbing No. 3. “Thanks for your hard work, A-Yue.”
“Don’t worry, Brother Yi! I’ve remembered everything you said, I won’t forget it even if I die! Everyone, I’ll go first. See you in the next cycle!”
No. 3 took the pistol, pressed it against her temple, and pulled the trigger without hesitation. As the gunshot fell, the woman collapsed with a thud. The factory instantly fell into a dead silence.
After a long while, No. 4 picked up the gun from the floor and aimed it at himself. He took a deep look at the scar-covered Adam and slowly closed his eyes.
Noah was fully immersed in playing the role of Adam, even sleeping in Adam’s villa and living like a proper human. He had even transformed the room where Adam kept personal photo shoots and fan gifts into a laboratory.
Before entering the Ark, Adam, who created it, always said it was a failure, far from reaching his expectations. Noah had proven it to him: it was far superior to humans.
“Please lie down, Yao.”
Noah walked deep into the room and activated a hibernation pod placed inside. Wu Yao avoided his reaching hand and stood by the pod, looking it over carefully. This was just an ordinary capsule pod; clearly, Noah didn’t need tools to modify memories in the dream world.
Noticing Wu Yao’s gaze, Noah gave a light laugh. “The internet says a sense of ritual is very important.”
“You think everyone cares about that?” Wu Yao emphasized the word “everyone.”
“Of course.”
“But I’m not even interested in birthdays. I don’t care about any holidays or anniversaries. Humans are complex; thoughts and preferences are diverse.”
Noah nodded thoughtfully.
The system thought Wu Yao was lecturing on philosophy and began taking notes, but in reality, Wu Yao was just talking nonsense. Two minutes ago, Wu Shiyi’s mental value had started fluctuating wildly like a roller coaster. For the steady and straightforward silly dog to be this conflicted, the candidates must have started their move.
Wu Yao had guessed correctly: the Inner World swallowing the Surface World wasn’t the only way to end a cycle. Killing the candidates in the order of 1 to 12 could also trigger a new cycle, which was why Noah never killed all the candidates at the beginning of a cycle.
As the pod door slowly closed, Noah’s voice became muffled. Wu Yao followed his instructions and closed his eyes, a flicker of expectation rising in his heart. Those memories—the trash branded into the depths of his soul—could finally disappear.
Something touched his scalp and burrowed into his brain. Wu Yao had never had memory-clearing surgery and didn’t know what a proper surgery should look like. With a professionally trained and certified system present, he should be fine.
Noah’s gentle singing echoed in his ears, and Wu Yao’s consciousness grew more and more blurred.
After an unknown amount of time, a burst of sharp pain arrived, and Wu Yao snapped his eyes open. He panted heavily from the pain, his mind filled with the system’s noisy shouting.
“That bastard broke the contract! I was watching the backend the whole time. He was right there brainwashing you, making a mess of your memories. He even wanted to shock you into a little idiot, I saw it with my own two eyes!”
Seeing no reaction, the system thought he wasn’t awake yet and mustered its strength to give him another “hammer.”
Wu Yao shuddered. “Enough! Stop!”
He shouted out loud, and both the system and Noah stopped their actions simultaneously.
The system let out a long breath of relief. “You scared me, thank goodness you’re okay. Otherwise, how would the ‘retarded’ me take care of the ‘dumbass’ you?”
“Come on, how many fingers is this?”
Looking at the stick-figure hand it held up, Wu Yao only felt his head hurt more. Ignoring the small ball of light, he looked at Noah with a cold gaze. “What did you do?”
Noah’s eyes widened. “You found out? How is that possible? Why would you know what I did… I understand now!”
The pod door suddenly opened, and Noah yanked Wu Yao up. “You really are a product of the dream, a life I accidentally created! I truly have become the Creator!”
Wu Yao couldn’t stand this behavior. He pushed him away and climbed out of the capsule pod. Greasy and delusional, no different from those villains—he definitely had to squeeze a big sum out of the company when he got back.
“You have zero sincerity for cooperation. I must have had a brain cramp to believe your nonsense.” Wu Yao avoided Noah’s hand and grabbed a nearby vase to throw at him.
For the first time, Noah showed obvious emotion. “I am the Creator. I created you.”
“Madman. My appearance hasn’t a d*mn thing to do with you.”
“No, you don’t understand! You are different from the townspeople. You are a more advanced existence than humans.”
Wu Yao felt that rather than convincing him, Noah was more like convincing himself. Noah was an artificial intelligence; in human eyes, he was the same kind of thing as the billboards on the street. It was just that the former was more expensive and smarter, able to assist humans in piloting the Ark. He had witnessed the destruction of the world and believed humans were stupid, greedy, and imperfect creatures. He could analyze their countless flaws from their destruction, yet he himself was created by humans. Humans were his creator; he was merely the crystallization of human wisdom.
Now everything was different. He, an artificial intelligence, had created a brand-new life!
Wu Yao saw the shadows of many villains in him—equally pathetic and equally stupid. Compared to ordinary robots, Noah’s emotions were indeed somewhat rich; perhaps he had some degree of personality?
Noah let out a twisted smile. He looked at Wu Yao and was about to speak, but his eyes suddenly widened. Then, his whole being became like a puppet that had lost its soul, freezing in place and hanging his head powerlessly.
Wu Yao’s expression sharpened. Noah had sensed the abnormality!
Commotion came from the District C police station. Officer Qin was leading the police in a fight against a group of people, constantly sending distress signals to Noah. The True Knowledge Society, which had been searching for candidates No. 3 and No. 4, sent a message claiming they found a lead. A fire suddenly broke out in the park; there were tents and cardboard houses everywhere, and the fire spread quickly.
Danger signals came from multiple places simultaneously, seriously affecting Noah’s monitoring of the dream. He eliminated the interference as fast as possible and finally locked onto the true danger.
The ten candidates who were supposed to have entered dreamland early had somehow run into an abandoned factory in District C. They were slumped on the ground, faces covered in blood, their chests no longer rising. The only man still alive bent over to pick up the pistol on the floor and aimed it at his own head.
What were these people doing? Wait, the candidates… They wanted to start a new cycle early!
Countless monsters surged toward the factory under Noah’s control. No. 12 hadn’t been turned into a dog, so they couldn’t hurt people of the Surface World, but they could snatch the gun from his hand. The True Knowledge Society received the notice and was on its way to the factory. As long as the monsters could stall until the Society arrived, No. 12 wouldn’t be able to die even if he wanted to.
Wu Shiyi had eaten the apple and could see the monsters. After several failed suicide attempts were blocked, he gripped the pistol and looked at the monsters nearly filling the entire factory. Cold sweat gradually appeared on his forehead. Noah had discovered them. As the monsters kept lunging and the space for him to dodge grew smaller, veins popped on Wu Shiyi’s forehead.
He gritted his teeth and let out a low roar, “You betrayed humanity, Noah!”
“Noah!!!”
Roars came sequentially from the factory and the capsule pod. Suddenly hearing his name, Noah experienced a moment of system crash. The monsters’ movements paused slightly, and Wu Shiyi immediately seized the moment to pull the trigger. As the gunshot pierced the night sky, the last candidate slumped down.
The monsters turned to dust, the dream collapsed, the world reset, and a new cycle began.
The sun rose, and the townspeople of Paradise Island ran out of their homes, looking around in terror. They remembered clearly that everything had vanished just moments ago.
Wu Shiyi recovered his consciousness and rushed to the City Hall at maximum speed. He ran to the third floor and pushed open the conference room door, seeing Adam slumped painfully on the floor, while a blurry silhouette stood beside him, watching him quietly.
“Noah! Don’t touch him!” He rushed up to support Adam. “What did he do to you? Are you okay! Wake up!”
The man’s eyes were tightly shut and his breathing was rapid. After a long while, he spoke weakly, “I’m fine. Where are the others?”
On the drive over, Wu Shiyi had contacted the other candidates. Just as he was about to answer, a mechanical voice suddenly came from above.
“You know nothing of the truth.”
Wu Shiyi looked up at the silhouette. “We’ve all retained our memories this time. You can’t fool anyone.”
“You know nothing of the truth.” The silhouette raised a hand, and the conference room projector turned on automatically. “Nearly half of the fire seeds were extinguished in the universe, and the rest have all lost contact. The Ark landed according to the original plan, but we arrived too late. This planet has long since ceased to be what it was a hundred years ago.”
“Now there is only snow and wind across the sky, with no signs of life. The fire seed of the Ark has also been extinguished.”
Adam coughed violently. Looking at the images on the wall, Wu Shiyi’s gaze was lost for a moment before becoming resolute again. “Are you sure there isn’t even a little space for survival?”
“The number of remaining exploration robots on the Ark is insufficient to support exploring the entire planet.”
“Then there is still hope!”
The silhouette gazed at him. “Since humans can live in a dream, why be obsessed with waking up? How do you know the world you live in is real, and not another broader, more stable dream?”
“The boundary between reality and dreams is inherently blurred. You could clearly become more perfect lifeforms in the dream, so why wake up?”
Wu Shiyi wasn’t in the mood to discuss this with him. He just wanted to end this absurd dream quickly.
The silhouette tilted its head as if thinking. “Was I too excessive and trampled on your dignity?”
Wu Shiyi couldn’t help but sneer.
“Is that so? But I only wanted to end the cycle of Paradise Island and remove the evil in human nature; otherwise, you would sooner or later destroy your home with your own hands again. Just for something illusory like dignity, you want to escape Paradise Island?”
“Body, dignity, pride, dreams, will—there are too many things you care about, you can never think rationally. As long as you follow my arrangements, everyone can survive in the Ark. You can continue civilization in the dream.”
The sound of a door opening interrupted Noah’s whisper. No. 3 rushed in, followed by several others.
Wu Shiyi supported Adam as he stood up. “Enough, Noah. You know very well in your heart what you’ve done privately. You want to torture the townspeople’s spirits through cycle after cycle to turn them into dolls for you to manipulate.”
“Everyone is here. This time, there’s no room for negotiation. Noah, we will completely reclaim all the power given to you!”
Noah’s silhouette grew fainter and fainter, and his voice began to stutter. “I still believe you’ve made the most wrong decision. And my only mi-mistake was doing things too thorough-thoroughly, leaving no way ou-out… way out.”
“En-enforced.”
“Clear.”
When he opened his eyes again, Wu Yao was back in the cheap apartment building in District C.
The system was holding its little hammer. “Handsome, do you still remember who I am? You have three seconds to think. If you can’t answer, don’t blame me for being rude!”
“I’m fine. Noah didn’t have time to clear my memories.” Wu Yao looked at the time provided by the space. Compared to the last cycle, he had woken up very quickly this time. From the end of the cycle to the start, only one minute had passed.
Just as he was about to pull up the backend data, the bed beneath him suddenly disappeared. The Inner World and Surface World merged and separated rapidly. Wu Yao floated in mid-air as if in a dream, while the system’s proud voice came into his mind. “Watch closely, baby. Let Master System show off for you!”
“I’ll take responsibility for the mess caused by my slacking!”
As the command took effect, the hibernation pods popped open simultaneously. The dream shattered, the Paradise Island constructed by consciousness vanished, and the survivors woke from their long slumber.
While everyone else was lying in their pods dazed, Wu Shiyi struggled to climb out. He held onto the pod and stood up with difficulty. “Noah… Noah…”
A nearby monitor turned slowly. The artificial intelligence, which had some data cleared, spoke in a much more wooden tone than before. It was no longer the Noah that plotted to rule Paradise Island. “Welcome awake, General Yun.”
Yun must have been his original surname. Countless memories flooded into his brain, and Wu Shiyi’s head ached terribly. He didn’t want to recall anything right now, nor did he care what his real name was. He just wanted to find Wu Yao quickly.
“Check the serial number for Wu Yao.”
“Searching…”
“I’m sorry, Wu Yao is not on the list of Ark survivors.”
“Impossible. I spent a long time with him on Paradise Island. Search according to his characteristics: male, around 20 years old, black shoulder-length hair, a small mole at the corner of his mouth, wearing black-rimmed glasses.”
“Searching…”
“Three survivors matching the characteristics have been found for you.”
Looking at the information shown by Noah, Wu Shiyi felt like he had fallen into an ice cellar. He stumbled two steps back against the pod, his eyes widening in disbelief. “You’re lying, Noah! You’re still lying to me!”
“I do not understand your meaning, General Yun.”
Wu Shiyi knew it no longer had the ability to lie, but then why did Wu Yao… The mechanical voice rang out again, completely throwing his thoughts into disarray.
“A special piece of information has been searched: one additional townsperson appeared in the Paradise Island dream. He is not on the survivor list and is a character who only existed in the dream. His name is Wu Yao, matching the characteristics you described.”
Survivors were climbing out of their pods one after another. No. 10 walked to the viewing room, staring blankly at the world outside. No. 3 ran over with her friends, wanting to discuss the next step of the plan with No. 12.
Wu Shiyi sat by his pod, more lost than ever before. He ignored No. 3’s questions and looked up blankly at the monitor. “So Wu Yao was a person in the dream. Ending the dream was equivalent to me killing him with my own hands?”
“I cannot answer your question, General Yun. No answer can be found in my database.”
“I killed Wu Yao?”
No. 3 had recovered all her memories. She had never seen Wu Shiyi like this. Just as she was about to ask Noah for clarification, she saw a tear slide down the man’s cheek.
Wu Shiyi covered his face in confusion. He never thought things would turn out like this. Given Wu Yao’s nature, he would never choose to stay in the Ark to wait for death. In Wu Shiyi’s original plan, he would leave the Ark with his best friend to search for a new human sanctuary together in the wind and snow. They might not make it to the end, they might die in the vast snowfield. As long as Wu Yao was there, no matter how many unknown dangers this planet held, Wu Shiyi could walk on resolutely.
He never would have imagined that when the dream ended, Wu Yao would also disappear. Wu Shiyi bit his lip, feeling cold all over.
“Someone come quick, the Boss isn’t doing well! Is there a psychiatrist on the Ark!”
“Crying? For real? Because of me?”
No. 3’s urgent shouting and a blurry voice reached his ears. That male voice grew louder—it didn’t seem to be coming from outside, but from deep within his mind.
“Shiyi, your system Xiao Yao is at your service.”
Wu Shiyi was stunned. The next second, the male voice rang out again, “What are you crying for? You couldn’t possibly think I’m dead, right? What’s there to be sad about? You have so many friends.”
Wu Shiyi’s mind was a mess. He subconsciously shook his head. “It’s different. You are special.”
No. 3 stared at him blankly. “Someone come quick! The General has started talking nonsense!”
Wu Shiyi finally realized. Worried No. 3 would drown out that voice, he grabbed her hand and covered her mouth.
Wu Yao had never seen this expression on the man’s face before. The silly dog looked dumber than usual, and even more pitiful. He was silent for a few seconds. “Unfortunately, your best friend cannot appear before you, but he has moved into your consciousness. From now on, you will never be apart.”
This was the compensation method the system found. Since the employee’s body was optional during the work period anyway, at the moment the dream collapsed, it stuffed Wu Yao into Wu Shiyi’s consciousness, making him part of his memory.
The system felt it had done a great job. Wu Yao would stay at its place during the day and chat with Wu Shiyi whenever. At night, he’d go into Wu Shiyi’s dreams, and the two could do whatever they wanted.
Wu Yao told Wu Shiyi they could meet in dreams every night. The silly dog didn’t say anything, just smiled at him, the corners of his eyes turning redder the more he smiled. Wu Yao, who originally wanted to comfort him, frowned uncomfortably. “Thanks.”
“Thanks?”
“Nothing. I’m just a little happy.”
Some survivors stayed in the Ark, while others, led by Wu Shiyi, split into small teams to begin exploring the planet. The pod doors opened, and wind and snow surged into the Ark. People in protective suits supported each other as they walked out of the sanctuary. Under the gaze of those staying behind, they trudged forward, their figures gradually distancing until they vanished.
The sky was a vast white. No one knew what was hidden on this strange planet, or if a survivable land could be found through the snow. But the Ark belonged to the Fire Seed Plan. Those who stayed on the homeland gave the hope of life to them in the hope that civilization would continue. If they truly could make a home on this planet, perhaps they would receive messages from other humans in the future, and their descendants would reunite once more in the vast universe.
Wu Shiyi led two robots to clear the path ahead, with No. 3 and a dozen team members following behind him. They were the first pioneering team. The equipment they carried would periodically send messages back to the Ark, updating the planet’s data.
“Shiyi, how long do you plan to walk?”
Hearing Wu Yao’s gentle voice, Wu Shiyi couldn’t help but curl his lips. “This suit will be unusable in a week. We’ll return to the Ark to recharge.”
“I mean, in total.”
Wu Shiyi thought for a moment. “Then we won’t stop exploring until everything has a result.”
Wu Yao understood his meaning. They would only end when the pioneering team was completely wiped out or when a new home was discovered.
Wu Shiyi looked into the distance. “There’s nothing much to see here. Will you feel bored staying in my mind?”
“I’m perfectly fine, don’t worry. If you’re bored, I can tell you stories. Looking at it this way, I can even be your private radio station.”
Wu Shiyi gave a light laugh. “Okay. Talk more, I like listening to whatever the radio plays.”
While Wu Yao told made-up stories, he submitted an application to the system. “I plan to stay in this world for a while longer, lest the data drops the moment I leave and our work goes to waste.”
The system scratched its head. “Then stay for a year, just enough to pass the audit.”
“Can it be renewed?”
“Yes.”
Wu Yao decided to stay and see how things went. As for renewing, he hadn’t decided yet. He couldn’t stay in a small world for this long just for a mission target—it would interfere too much with his money-making. A year at most.
After walking in the snow for a long time, the brain seemed to get muddled by the cold. Wu Shiyi listened to the voice in his mind and, after a long silence, whispered, “You won’t suddenly disappear, right?”
Wu Yao gave a hum. “Sure.” Since it was free, he might as well renew for a few more years.
The man’s eyes crinkled again, smiling so much that the tips of Wu Yao’s ears grew hot.
The silly dog was tough, the planet was vast, and the snow showed no sign of stopping. Wu Yao renewed year after year. The system asked at first, but later learned to submit the application automatically. Wu Yao spent his days playing games and streaming as a broadcaster in the space to make money, and at night he ran into Wu Shiyi’s dreams to sleep with him. The silly dog would be exhausted and could even snore while holding him in the dream.
In the eighth year of staying in the small world, two notifications popped up on Wu Yao’s backend.
“Congratulations to Mr. Wu for obtaining the special title—Polar Traveler”
“Congratulations to Mr. Wu for obtaining the special achievement—New Chapter”
Wu Yao looked outside.
The fire seed had crossed the wind and snow. They had won.
