An Obsessive Alpha Covets The Honest Beta - Chapter 6.2
Lin Xun put down his teacup. A little tea spilled onto the tablecloth with his movement. He unhurriedly wiped his fingers clean, saying lightly, “Not going.”
Yang Wan uttered a displeased “Oh, my,” and said with a slight tone of blame, “Why aren’t you going? You must go. Haven’t you been the most obedient to mother since you were young?”
“Miss Qin’s family background and appearance are both worthy of you. Could it be that you want to marry a burden back home just like Zhaoning?” Yang Wan implied intentionally, “Miss Qin is an Omega too, what a rare opportunity! The marriage alliance is just a formality; the most important thing is to have a child! Look at Li You, he can’t give birth, and your father is already very dissatisfied with him…”
Yang Wan was anxious. She felt that as long as her son’s lifelong event wasn’t settled, her heart could never rest at ease for a single day.
Lin Zhaoning was currently not competing or fighting for power, but who could predict the future?
Lin Xun didn’t really want to listen to his mother talk about this. The more he thought about it, the more annoyed he became, so he simply turned around to leave, tossing out a half-hearted line: “We’ll see.”
When he spoke like this, it basically meant it wasn’t going to happen.
Yang Wan stomped her feet in anxiety, but constrained by her status, it wasn’t good for her to throw a direct tantrum, so she had to drop it. In her heart, she planned to find a suitable time to properly discipline and warn Lin Xun. In short, he couldn’t be like Lin Zhaoning, marrying a useless, low-status trash as a partner.
And at this moment, the good son Madam Lin was so proud of took a spare key and, taking advantage of the fact that no one was upstairs, openly barged into the bedroom where Li You was changing clothes.
The bathroom door was a sliding glass door. Lin Xun turned to lock the bedroom door, looked at the flesh-colored shadow reflected on the glass door, pushed open the barrier before him, and hugged Li You from behind.
The Alpha wrapped one arm around Li You’s waist, while the other reached over from above his navel, lingering at the Beta’s neck, and finally landing on his chin.
Halfway through his sorrowful reflection on his life, Li You was nearly frightened to death by the rogue who had suddenly broken in.
“You!” Li You didn’t know what word to use to describe him, and then remembered that he was currently stark naked. Moreover, they were in the old family residence; Father Lin and Lin Zhaoning were right in the adjacent study discussing business… No matter which angle one looked at it from, Lin Xun’s behavior was extremely bold and outrageous.
The shower head was still running. Lin Xun flipped him around so that Li You faced him. Streams of water washed down continuously, completely soaking Lin Xun’s white shirt. His chest and abdominal muscles were faintly visible under the drenched fabric.
“Didn’t I tell you to stay away from him? Why didn’t you listen?” Lin Xun lowered his head and bit down hard on Li You’s collarbone, biting fiercely and hastily. After all, he had witnessed the entire process of the two staying inside the car for over ten minutes after parking. Lin Zhaoning had stepped down looking calm and composed, whereas his sister-in-law’s entire face was red.
It was hard not to make one suspicious about what this model affectionate couple, who hadn’t seen each other for a full half-month, had done inside the car.
Lin Xun could guess it even with his toes.
Li You’s back pressed against the cold tiles, making him shiver from the chill. Lin Xun lifted him up, lowering his head to please the two scarlet points on his chest.
The Alpha really liked to bite, chafing and breaking the skin on Li You’s chest.
“I didn’t… let go of me first…”
“Lin Xun, stop biting!”
Li You was completely controlled by Lin Xun. The Alpha kissed every single corner of his body like crazy. He placed Li You onto the marble countertop, holding the Beta’s slender ankles with both hands, checking him thoroughly inside out.
There was nothing abnormal.
In fact, his sister-in-law’s body was now covered in the deep red-to-purple hickeys he had left behind, carrying a kind of sadomasochistic beauty.
Lin Xun braced his hands on both sides of Li You, intentionally pressing forward against the spot where they touched, instructing in a commanding tone: “Come with me tonight.”
“No… Lin Xun, don’t be like this…”
“Lin Xun! Lin Xun!”
Li You threw back his neck, attempting to use his knees to block the Alpha’s intrusion. His back faced the mirror, his shoulder blades protruding clearly due to the arching movement of his body. Lin Xun watched the elegant curve raised on the Beta’s side profile through the mirror, expressionlessly pinching his neck to kiss him.
Li You’s lips were kissed until they were moist and red. He opened his eyes, begging the Alpha to quickly spare him. Dinner time was approaching soon; if he didn’t go out, it would arouse suspicion. Attracting Lin Zhaoning or any of the servants in the house upstairs would lead to unimaginable consequences.
Lin Xun carried Li You down, gently stroking his head, and said, “Kneel down.”
“Wh… What?” Before Li You could react, his head was pressed down by the Alpha, forcing him to kneel in front of him.
Lin Xun appeared extremely indifferent: “When you get to go out depends on your skill.”
The floor was hard, hurting Li You’s knees severely.
Tears bubbled up in the corners of his eyes from the choking sensation. He raised his head, but the tall Alpha turned a blind eye to it. That man was dressed in a shirt, suit trousers, and leather shoes. Although soaked through by the water, he did not display a single trace of wretchedness. Compared to the unclothed Li You on the floor, he was better off by countless times.
The way Li You looked at him provoked the veins on Lin Xun’s temples to bulge violently; his nerves almost snapped right out of his temples.
“…Who allowed you to look at me with those eyes,” Lin Xun’s voice finally had an agitated tremor, commanding once again: “Close your eyes.”
After Li You changed his clothes, he tried his best to hold onto the handrail when going downstairs to avoid rolling down.
His legs were trembling, largely due to the pain in his knees.
Lin Xun came out more than ten minutes later. With everyone present, the family sat down at the table.
Father Lin had probably heard from Lin Zhaoning that his younger son had raised a cat and was quite curious. After making a few inquiries, he didn’t forget to use the opportunity to lecture: “Young cats just don’t know any better. It’ll be fine once you discipline it a few more times.”
Lin Xun seemed to be in a good mood, offering a rare “Mm”: “He’s just not quite used to the newly bought teaser wand.”
Li You, sitting opposite him, suddenly began to cough violently. After gulping down several mouthfuls of water, he lowered his head and frantically picked up food into his bowl, attempting to use eating earnestly to conceal his overall discomfort.
“Sister-in-law can eat so much, yet still has an appetite?”
A double entendre, Lin Xun teased, frightening Li You so much that his chopsticks almost slipped from his grip.
Everyone was surprised by Lin Xun’s reaction, but then thought that he was volatile by nature anyway, so it made sense, and they didn’t pursue it further.
It was still Yang Wan who, seeing Li You’s predicament, took the initiative to change the subject, giving him a breathing moment.
Yang Wan intentionally or unintentionally brought up the verbal marriage agreement between Lin Xun and Miss Qin. Although it was mixed with the elders’ joking banter, now that both children had grown up and reached marriageable age, matching well in every aspect, the elders of both families were inclined to facilitate this marriage.
Lin Zhaoning’s reaction to this matter was much more subdued. Although the Lin and Qin families were long-time family friends, he didn’t have much contact with Miss Qin; on the contrary, Lin Xun and she could be considered peers.
The benefits brought by a marriage alliance between the two families were clearly immeasurable. However, Father Lin seemed a bit hesitant, casting glances at Lin Zhaoning from time to time. But since his eldest son was unwilling to express an opinion, it wasn’t good for him to say anything either.
Only Lin Xun and Li You didn’t speak at the dining table.
Yang Wan asked Li You: “What does Xiao You think?”
Li You naturally supported it with both hands raised, but he didn’t dare to act too abnormal, so he could only speak some polite formalities: “Younger brother and Miss Qin are a talented man and a beautiful woman. If they can tie the knot, it would naturally be a wonderful story.”
Lin Xun arranged his bowls and chopsticks one by one, without making even a single sound.
With the person concerned remaining silent, no one dared to speak up to persuade him.
Lin Xun stared at Li You for a while. After a long moment, he stood up and left without saying a word.
Good.
Very good.
Li You, you really are something else.
