- Chapter 87 - Affectionate Moments
“Meeting adjourned.” Qiao Bo’er’s eyes held an unconcealable smile, and her tone when announcing the end of the meeting was light and clear, her whole being radiating the joyful scent of a good mood.
She organized the meeting documents, stood up, and left the conference room first.
Qiao Bo’er stood in front of the elevator door, one hand tucked into her suit trousers pocket, the other arm conveniently clutching the documents, ready to return to her office floor.
Employees trickled out of the conference room and stood a respectful distance from her, somewhat affected by the powerful aura of the big boss.
The elevator door opened at the perfect moment, letting out a gust of wind that brushed Qiao Bo’er’s bangs resting naturally on her forehead. She raised her eyes to look at the person inside.
In that instant, time slowed down, and even the most vibrant world lost its color. Only the person before her shimmered with a colorful radiance, thus entering her view.
Ling Xi, holding the Four Joys jar in a somewhat silly manner, met Qiao Bo’er’s gaze. She paused slightly, but was quickly replaced by surprised joy, flashing a warm, sun-like smile, and obediently moved a small step into the corner.
Qiao Bo’er pretended to be serious, silently walked inside, and turned to face the employees outside the door. Not one person dared to follow her in.
Ling Xi was still immersed in the joy of the unexpected encounter. She didn’t know that Qiao Bo’er, at this moment, was glaring at everyone with a stern face, her expression warning that anyone who dared to enter the elevator was asking for trouble.
As soon as the door closed, Qiao Bo’er immediately turned and eagerly moved close to Ling Xi, unable to hide her urge to kiss her: “Why did you come?”
Ling Xi, cornered and holding the cumbersome Four Joys jar, flushed and confessed her feelings: “Of course, because I missed you!”
Qiao Bo’er narrowed her eyes, smirking as she deliberately asked, “Is that so?”
Wearing high heels, she was half a head taller than Ling Xi, and her imposing manner was suffocating.
She rested one hand beside Ling Xi’s ear, and with the corner of the file folder in her other hand, she hooked Ling Xi’s chin, giving a light command: “Don’t move. Hold your hands up obediently.”
Ling Xi did as she was told, raising the jar high with both hands, timidly stuttering: “Wha… what are you doing… We’re at the company… we should behave!”
“Holding it so carefully, it must be something good. You better hold it tight, then…” Qiao Bo’er cautioned with ill intent. Hooking Ling Xi’s chin, she finally kissed the soft, long-missed lips.
The brief taste of sweetness on the lips gradually turned into a surging, passionate kiss.
Ling Xi grew increasingly nervous with the kissing, afraid the elevator might stop suddenly. A strong sense of impropriety washed over her, yet it was also filled with the addiction to continue.
Qiao Bo’er’s kisses were a series of stops and starts. She enjoyed pausing to admire Ling Xi’s shyness, and then slowly savoring the delicious lips again.
“Mmm… Hee… Mmm…” Ling Xi couldn’t keep up with this fancy kissing style. Taking a breath in between, she protested, “It’s not fair how you bully me!”
“I like bullying you. It’s not like you only found this out today… Don’t talk!” Qiao Bo’er gripped Ling Xi’s jaw, looked directly into her eyes, and commanded the continuation of the unfinished kiss.
Ling Xi endured every wave of deep kissing the woman in front of her delivered, from the initial tentative touches to the increasingly fierce entanglement, soft sucking, the grinding against her teeth, finally lingering for a long time before separation.
“Ding!” The elevator chime sounded.
Qiao Bo’er retreated quickly, swiftly wiping away the smeared lipstick. The entire set of movements was done in one go, and her face instantly reverted to a look of professionalism, as if nothing had happened.
How could this woman switch her state so seamlessly?
Ling Xi was still reeling from the sweet kiss, unable to recover for a while. She still held the jar high, staring blankly at the woman who now wore a completely different expression, utterly surprised!
The elevator doors opened.
Qin Yun, who was about to step into the elevator, didn’t even have time to exchange greetings before Qiao Bo’er swiftly walked towards her office.
Turning her eyes to Ling Xi, who was standing motionless in the corner, Qin Yun jokingly remarked with a strange look: “That posture… are you about to blow up a bunker?”
“I… I…” Ling Xi stammered, wiggled her hips and walked out, babbling incoherently: “I have the Four Joys jar, and you don’t… I just like holding it up to show off!”
Noticing the scattered lipstick marks around Ling Xi’s mouth, Qin Yun resisted the urge to mock and expose her, playing along: “Tsk… look how clever you are.”
Thinking Qin Yun hadn’t noticed anything, Ling Xi breathed a sigh of relief.
Hiss, actually, in the elevator… it was quite stimulating, even a little addictive!
Walking quickly into Qiao Bo’er’s office, Ling Xi was about to complain about the woman’s quick change of face, but found she wasn’t at her desk.
She put down the cumbersome jar and naturally walked towards the rest room.
“Bo’er?” Just as she poked half her body inside, Qiao Bo’er, who was hiding by the door playing hide-and-seek, suddenly hugged her neck tightly, teasing and flirting: “Was it… exciting… just now…”
Before the words had fully sunk in, they sent Ling Xi’s heart racing, completely releasing the desire for invasion and possession.
Ling Xi firmly wrapped her arms around Qiao Bo’er’s waist, grinding against her temples, and backed her up until they both fell onto the bed, eliciting a joyful gasp.
“You shouldn’t just light the fire… and not put it out…” Ling Xi complained in a muffled voice, buried in Qiao Bo’er’s neck.
Every sweeping kiss bloomed into a bright red flower on the tender white skin—
‘The mighty mountain tiger stood proudly on the peak, and the prey pressed under its paw lost the strength to struggle.
The mountain tiger brought its nose close to inhale the scent of the white rabbit; it was the crisp fragrance of green mandarin, a favored scent.
The mountain tiger smiled happily, squinting its eyes, wanting to smooth the white rabbit’s fur. Its thick tongue ran from the corner of the rabbit’s mouth, all the way to the fluffy tail end, licking repeatedly for a good while before stopping.
The mountain tiger smiled foolishly, smacking its lips in aftertaste. It turned out she was sweet, delicious, and alluring…
The white rabbit’s face flushed red, and the corners of her eyes were wet with shy fear.
The poor, helpless white rabbit was played with by the mischievous mountain tiger, no matter how she struggled or called out, exhausted and wanting to escape, her legs were too weak to run.
The slender fingers clutched and pulled the bedsheet, creating deep creases. Fine mountain rain pattered, creating a cloud of mist. The mountain tiger, finally tired but enjoying himself, circled the beloved white rabbit and drifted into a groggy sleep.’
Ling Xi admired the flush on Qiao Bo’er’s cheeks, raised a hand to brush the messy hair from her ear, and sniffed the fragrant breath at her nose: “I really want to know how to reverse time…”
Qiao Bo’er weakly half-opened her eyes, her expression scattered. Perhaps she was too tired, she mumbled drowsily: “Then you’ll have to work hard…”
Kissing her lover’s earlobe, Ling Xi also closed her eyes: “I want to take you to a place where it’s spring all year round. We’ll paddle a boat on some unknown lake, gazing at the ripples stirred by the spring breeze. I love you so much… what should I do…”
How can I embrace you enough to dissolve my longing for you? And how should I kiss you to satisfy my desire to possess you?
After a short rest, Ling Xi gently pulled the floppy Qiao Bo’er up: “That jar, Xiao Mo specifically chose it for you.”
Qiao Bo’er, who had a bit of a morning temper, frowned and rubbed against Ling Xi’s embrace: “So sleepy!”
“Go to bed early tonight. You should get up first.”
“Ling Xixi! How do you have so much energy?”
“Because I want to spend more time with you…”
“But I want to sleep.” Qiao Bo’er continued her spoiling attack. Ling Xi held her, unable to let go: “But I want to spend more time with you…”
“Are you a repeater?”
“I’m Qiao Bo’er’s repeater…”
“Smart mouth!”
“I am a smart mouth!”
Qiao Bo’er pinched Ling Xi’s nose: “It’s time to take your medicine.”
“I’ll go get you some water.” Ling Xi prepared to get out of bed, but Qiao Bo’er hugged her waist tightly: “You’re not allowed to leave!”
“But you need to take your medicine, and I need to take mine too!”
“Recently… is it time for a follow-up visit?” Qiao Bo’er lost her sleepiness and worried about Ling Xi.
“I’ll find a time to see Dr. Bai. How about that?”
“Go tomorrow. I’ll go with you. Health is important.”
Hearing Qiao Bo’er willingly accompany her to the hospital, Ling Xi naturally wouldn’t refuse: “Okay, I’ll listen to you.”
“You said… you found a way to reverse time?” Bringing up the topic, Ling Xi feigned mystery, leaned in close to Qiao Bo’er, and gestured: “Because I got the Moonlight Box from the Supreme Treasure: Bo Ruo Bo Ruo Mi!”
Qiao Bo’er watched Ling Xi’s funny little expression and giggled, covering her mouth: “I’d like to see if your Moonlight Box actually works…”
“I’ve calculated with my fingers, it’s about to take effect!”
“Why don’t you blame me?”
Qiao Bo’er’s question made Ling Xi confused: “Blame you for what?”
“Blame me for being inconsiderate. I tried so hard to be with you initially, and now I’m giving you a hard challenge. You’re not even angry about this?”
Ling Xi sat cross-legged, tilted her head to look at Qiao Bo’er’s beautiful face, and shook her head with certainty: “I would never bear to argue with you. I can solve any difficult problem, but can I make a small suggestion?”
“You go first.”
“Can I move into your house first? That way I can take care of you all the time.”
“I know your little scheme. You want to take a shortcut and exploit a loophole? No!”
Rejected by Qiao Bo’er again, Ling Xi’s face drooped into a bitter gourd expression: “Wuuu… You’re so heartless! You eat me up every time and then deny it!”
“Two ladies, this is the menu the chef has prepared for tonight’s dinner. Please take a look.”
The butler handed over the head chef’s menu. Qin Yun was lazily leaning in Chu Xi’s arms, playing a puzzle game, and waved her hand, having no time to look at it.
“Let me see.” Chu Xi took the list and politely thanked the butler.
Looking at the menu, Chu Xi carefully checked for anything Qin Yun was allergic to.
Feeling bored, Qin Yun tossed her phone aside, snatched the menu, rubbed her head against Chu Xi’s cheek, and gossiped: “Guess what I saw today?”
Hearing Qin Yun’s strange tone, Chu Xi immediately played the role of a keen listener: “What did you see?”
“Bo’er utterly devoured Ling Xi in the elevator. So exciting…”
Although this was not exactly a rare occurrence, Chu Xi sensed a different tone in the words.
She turned her head, pressed her lips to Qin Yun’s ear, and her hot, wet breath was a natural provocation: “My dear Miss Qin… wants to play this kind of stimulating game too?”
“Not necessarily, but… trying it out wouldn’t hurt, would it…”
“The elevator is too boring. Next time, I’ll take you to play something even more exciting…” Chu Xi’s nose brushed against Qin Yun’s hair, her tone heating up with the topic, and her hands also grew restless.
Qin Yun quickly gripped her hand and stopped her: “Not now. It’s almost time. Although the people coming today are old friends, we still need to dress up properly. Will you come with me to pick out clothes?”
