After Transmigrating Into The Book, The Villain Only Wanted To Destroy The World - Chapter 3
“Ah!”
Shen Zhiwei woke up with a start, his back drenched in sweat.
“Do you believe me now?”
“Who exactly are you?” Shen Zhiwei asked weakly. To convince him that he had transmigrated, this entity had forced him into an incredibly vivid, immersive dream.
No, it was not really a dream. It was everything that would happen in the future.
The dream had not even ended. Based on the original plot details transmitted by this entity, Shen Zhiwei knew that next, he would have his five limbs severed by Mo Rubai. Then, Mo Rubai would have a ferocious beast violate him day and night until he finally died. Through some unknown method, Mo Rubai kept him conscious until the very last moment of his life, not to mention the medicinal pills he would force-feed him from time to time.
“Ugh.”
Shen Zhiwei could not help but retch.
“If you still do not believe it, I can send you another gift.”
“That will not be necessary.” Shen Zhiwei finally managed to steady himself. He wondered if he was supposed to thank this thing. If the gift it sent was another dream like that of the beast, he would rather not.
Heh.
Shen Zhiwei took a deep breath. “I at least need to know what to call you.”
After a long silence, Shen Zhiwei finally heard a reply. “You can call me Sanba.”
Shen Zhiwei thought to himself that this thing had a strange way of naming itself. “Sanba, what do I need to do? And are you a system?”
“I am not a system, but you may consider me one. I need to change Shen Zhiwei’s fate, find the Eternal Gate, and then destroy this world.”
“Destroy this world?” Shen Zhiwei pressed his thumb against his brow bone, shrewdly realizing something. “If I am not mistaken, you are trapped in this world, aren’t you?”
Sanba did not answer the question and simply vanished.
It was as he suspected. This Sanba did not seem capable of acting independently and must rely on him to function.
Shen Zhiwei stared coldly at the cave. It differed slightly from the one in his dream, yet it was nearly identical. He did not want to stay here for even a second. Everything about this place made him feel nauseated. However, just as he started to walk out of the cave, he felt the world spin, and he collapsed face-first at the entrance.
What Shen Zhiwei did not know was that as he fell, the cave emitted a faint glow and then simply vanished. There were no caves at all in the back mountains of the Lingxiao Sect.
One mile away, in the back mountains of the Lingxiao Sect, several young men were gathered.
“Hey, Brother Mo, you go out for a trip and end up hooking up with a young girl?”
The clean-cut youth did not get angry upon hearing this. “Xie Longyu, what are you talking about? I simply saved someone. If you had seen her, you would have saved her as well.”
“Still, you have good luck,” another, coarser voice added. “Brother Mo, the first person you save turns out to be the sect leader’s sheltered foster daughter. That is a blessing we do not have.”
The youth smiled with an air of pure innocence. “This blessing is yours if you want it. Are you willing to take it?”
Everyone knew that the foster daughter was being raised as a human furnace. When the time came, she would be sent to a major sect like a bride for a political alliance. If she were touched by another man before she was betrothed, she would be considered tainted.
Once these words were spoken, the area fell silent. The youth continued, “It is getting late, and I still need to find some medicinal herbs. Are you coming?”
Embarrassed by the half-grown youth, the others could not save face. “Let’s go. Why quibble with a kid? Let’s go practice!”
“Exactly. He touched that woman; who knows how the sect leader will deal with him!”
Not long after, only the youth was left.
From a distance, he could even hear their curses, mostly along the lines of, “What is Mo Rubai anyway? He probably only got into the inner sect because of that face of his.”
Mo Rubai’s young face was cold as frost. Those people only dared to yell so loudly because they were not afraid of offending him. However, soon, he heard a series of startled cries.
“Who dug a trap here!”
A smile appeared on Mo Rubai’s face as he turned and walked in the opposite direction. As for those who had fallen into the trap, they could wait until tomorrow morning when the magic formation dissipated to come out.
