After Transmigrating into a Scummy Alpha, I Became a Tool Person - Chapter 48
“Of course you can.” An Lin smiled as she finished disinfecting Lu Anran’s hand, finally letting out a sigh of relief. Thankfully, there was no bleeding — otherwise, she’d have to get a shot. Even though her cat, Bubu, had already been vaccinated, it was always better to be cautious.
“Meow.”
Bubu blinked its bright blue eyes, staring up at the two of them.
An Lin picked the cat up, holding it at eye level with a stern expression. “Bubu, hitting people is wrong. If you do it again, I won’t take you out to play anymore!”
Bubu drooped its head and gave a soft “meow,” as if admitting its mistake.
Lu Anran, sitting nearby, watched in astonishment. Was this cat sentient? How could it possibly understand human speech?
An Lin continued lecturing Bubu, while the cat quickly turned its gaze toward Lu Anran, as though pleading for help.
Seeing its pitiful look, Lu Anran’s heart melted completely. She walked over and said gently, “Alright, it’s all over now. It already knows it was wrong, right, Bubu?”
“Meow!” Bubu nodded quickly.
Pfft—truly humanlike.
Lu Anran laughed and rubbed its head. Now, the cat no longer feared her touch and let her pet it freely.
“Meow.” Bubu squinted its eyes, purring contentedly.
Seeing Lu Anran no longer upset, An Lin finally ended her lecture and set Bubu down. The cat immediately leapt off the couch and darted away, as though escaping punishment.
“Coward,” An Lin muttered under her breath.
Lu Anran only smiled quietly.
An Lin checked the time—it was already quite late—and turned to ask, “Do you want to take a shower?”
“Yes.” Lu Anran nodded.
“I’ll go set the water for you.”
“Okay, thank you.”
Watching her leave, Lu Anran pressed her flushed cheeks with both hands.
Ah, Sister actually agreed to let me stay! And now, it’s just the two of us here—one Alpha, one Omega. If nothing happens tonight, that would almost be unreasonable, right?
Images far too indecent for words flashed through her mind, and Lu Anran let out a dazed giggle, completely lost in her fantasies.
She wiped the corner of her mouth.
Fine, she admitted it—she was drooling over her sister’s body.
Such a beautiful, gentle Alpha, tonight, she had to make her move!
In the bathroom, An Lin adjusted the water temperature, tested it with her hand, and nodded in satisfaction. She stepped out and said, “The water’s ready, and I’ve put your clothes inside.”
“Mm!” Lu Anran nodded eagerly and walked toward the bathroom.
Soon, faint humming drifted out from behind the door. An Lin smiled faintly and sat down, picking up her carving knife to work on a sculpture.
When Lu Anran came out after her shower, she saw An Lin still working and walked over to her.
Hearing the movement, An Lin turned her chair around to look.
Lu Anran was wearing one of her black T-shirts, the loose fabric hanging halfway down her thighs. An Lin scratched her cheek awkwardly. “Isn’t it a bit too big?” Lu Anran hadn’t brought spare clothes, so she’d lent her one.
“It’s fine. It’s comfortable,” Lu Anran said, smiling.
“Alright. You can sleep in the guest room tonight—the blankets are in the cabinet.” An Lin pointed toward the other room.
Outside, heavy rain poured down, thunder rumbling through the night.
Lu Anran tugged lightly at An Lin’s sleeve and said softly, “Sister, can we sleep together? I’m scared of thunder.”
An Lin froze for a moment. Looking down, she saw Lu Anran’s anxious face. She really did look frightened. After a brief pause, An Lin’s voice softened. “Alright.”
She tidied up the table and turned to leave, but before she could take a step, Lu Anran grabbed her wrist nervously. “Where are you going?”
“To take a shower. Wait here for a bit, we’ll go to bed together later.”
“Okay.” Lu Anran nodded, finally relaxing.
An Lin disappeared into the bathroom. Before long, she came out again, her hair slightly damp. She walked to the sofa and said softly, “Let’s go.”
Lu Anran obediently followed behind her. When thunder boomed again, she flinched and pressed closer to An Lin instinctively.
An Lin took her hand, her voice gentle. “Don’t be afraid.”
“Mm.” Lu Anran clutched at the hem of her shirt, trembling like a startled rabbit.
They entered the bedroom. An Lin turned on the light and went in first.
After straightening the bedding, she patted the mattress. “Come on, get in.”
Lu Anran quickly slipped under the covers. An Lin switched off the light and lay down beside her.
The night was pitch black. The rain gradually eased, and the thunder faded into the distance.
Thump, thump.
Lu Anran’s heart pounded wildly. She turned her head and whispered, “Sister, are you asleep?”
An Lin kept her eyes closed, saying nothing.
Thinking she’d already fallen asleep, Lu Anran slowly propped herself up and inched closer—closer and closer—until their faces were only inches apart. Moonlight spilled through the window, outlining An Lin’s lips in soft silver.
What would they taste like? She’d kissed her once before—but that had been when she wasn’t fully conscious.
Before she realized it, Lu Anran had leaned in and pressed her lips to An Lin’s.
An Lin’s eyelashes trembled.
At first, Lu Anran only dared to brush her lips lightly, testing. Seeing no reaction, she grew bolder, tentatively parting her lips to deepen the kiss.
Just as she was completely absorbed in the moment, a hand suddenly gripped the back of her neck. A low, husky voice whispered against her ear—restrained, dangerous:
“What do you think you’re doing?”
Lu Anran’s eyes went wide in shock. So fast? She wasn’t asleep after all?
An Lin’s fingers brushed along the curve of Lu Anran’s neck—an Omega’s most vulnerable, sensitive spot.
“Ah.” Lu Anran flushed and let out a soft whimper. The touch felt so good she didn’t want her to stop.
In a blink, An Lin rolled her over, reversing their positions. Tilting Lu Anran’s chin up, she murmured with a teasing smile, “Do you want your sister to teach you how to kiss properly?”
Lu Anran nodded shyly.
An Lin lowered her head and kissed her.
Their pheromones mingled in the air—the bright, citrus scent of Alpha and the soft cherry blossom of Omega intertwining into something intoxicating.
“Mm, faster, don’t stop.” Lu Anran gasped, holding An Lin’s head between her hands.
“As you wish.”
“Ah—Sister, don’t touch there, it’s dirty.”
“Be good.” An Lin brushed back a strand of hair behind Lu Anran’s ear, lowering her head again.
Outside the door, Bubu scratched at the wood, meowing pitifully for food. It was starving, but the people inside didn’t seem to hear.
Bubu’s blue eyes dimmed in frustration.
Are they fighting in there? Why is it taking them so long to come out?
