After Transmigrating into a Book, I Was Entangled by a Crazy and Beautiful Villain - Chapter 11
Song Linlin groggily opened her eyes. She squinted slightly; the sun of early morning was hitting her face because the window hadn’t been closed before she went to sleep yesterday, and the glare woke her up.
Still a bit dazed, she rubbed her eyes, sat up straight, and stretched. It was already broad daylight outside, with vendors on the street hawking their goods, and people and carriages bustling about.
It was only then that Song Linlin noticed something: the room seemed incredibly quiet. Logically, a small inn situated so close to this busy market should not be as peaceful as it was now. The building didn’t look like it could be very soundproof.
Did Chi Qianning, do it?
Song Linlin turned her head and saw that the blanket was puffed up against the inner side of the bed. The person underneath was huddled in the corner, completely covered by the quilt, with only strands of silver-white hair spilling out.
“No way? She’s still sleeping?”
Song Linlin couldn’t help but wonder. After a night’s sleep, her recovery ability was astonishing, and the pain in her body was almost gone. She acted quickly and crawled gently towards the corner.
She stopped when she reached the other person. She cautiously raised her hand and lightly lifted the blanket covering the other’s head.
As the corner of the quilt was raised, the person hiding inside gradually became visible. Chi Qianning was lying on her side, a few locks of long hair hanging by her cheek. Her eyes were closed, and her silver-white eyelashes cast a shadow. Her breathing was very light, almost imperceptible.
Due to her posture, the collar of her nightwear was slightly loose, revealing a glimpse of her collarbone beneath her pale, slender neck, and a small, tiny red mole on the collarbone.
Oh no, why do I feel like a pervert?
Song Linlin’s hand holding the blanket froze as she deeply reflected on her actions, yet she couldn’t stop staring at the other person.
She prided herself on never being a human of strong will. If someone were to tempt her with honeyed trap (lit. beauty), Song Linlin felt she would definitely take the bait!
Suddenly, the beauty lying on the bed frowned slightly, and her eyelashes fluttered like white butterflies flapping their wings. Then, beneath the silver-white lashes, a pair of red eyes was revealed.
Perhaps still groggy from sleep, the red eyes didn’t look as cold as usual. They stared dreamily and directly at Song Linlin.
Being stared at like this made Song Linlin feel awkward. She had a sudden feeling of being caught in the act of peeking at someone.
The only difference was that she wasn’t actually peeking; she was brazenly pulling back the other person’s quilt and staring straight at them.
The air fell silent instantly, and Song Linlin couldn’t think of any way to excuse herself.
“Is it nice to look at?” It was Chi Qianning who spoke first.
Her voice, husky from just waking up, was flat, making it impossible to tell if she was asking in an angry challenge or flirting.
Song Linlin couldn’t understand what she meant, so she could only follow her instinct, nod honestly, and be ready to apologize at any moment.
“Mhm…”
Chi Qianning let out an enigmatic “mhm.” The color in her eyes seemed to deepen. Her gaze roamed over Song Linlin’s face, gradually moving down to her neck.
On the fair neck, a faint blue vein was visible, causing Chi Qianning’s pupils to shrink instinctively, and her teeth suddenly felt itchy.
The memory of that night surfaced—the tempting fragrance and the warm, slightly metallic sweet taste were captivating.
Finally, she withdrew her gaze, looked at Song Linlin, and spoke softly:
“You…
Come closer.”
The other’s gaze was too fiery, like a small snake slithering on the skin. How could Song Linlin not notice Chi Qianning’s unusual state? She vaguely guessed what the other wanted to do.
Meeting those scarlet eyes, Song Linlin instinctively felt danger and didn’t want to move closer.
Seeing her hesitation, Chi Qianning lost her patience to urge her further. The distance between them was already very small; Song Linlin was practically lying right within her reach.
Without giving the other a chance to refuse, Chi Qianning raised her arm, wrapped it around Song Linlin’s neck, and forcefully pulled her close to her mouth.
“Woah!”
Song Linlin gasped. With the hug, her upper body was now draped over Chi Qianning. Even with two layers of clothing separating their bodies, she could feel the other’s chilly body temperature.
They say girls are made of water; then Chi Qianning must be made of ice, right?
“W-w-what do you want to do?” Song Linlin, pressed tightly against her, dared not move randomly, but with her neck trapped in the other’s embrace, she couldn’t break free. She could only ask nervously.
However, the other seemed completely oblivious to her reluctance, proceeding to lick the area in front of her. Her tongue pressed against the sensitive skin, right over the faintly throbbing blue vein beneath the skin.
The wet, hot touch sent a shiver down Song Linlin’s spine, and her shoulders involuntarily hunched up, trying to hide that spot.
Yet, Chi Qianning’s arm was firmly clasped around the back of her neck, making it impossible for Song Linlin to struggle or escape.
“Don’t move.”
Chi Qianning’s voice came from below. There was displeasure in her tone, and the hot breath she exhaled hit the very spot she had just licked.
She tightened the arm around Song Linlin’s neck, feeling the other tremble, and gently patted Song Linlin’s back to offer comfort.
“I want to bite you,” Chi Qianning stated, leaving no room for refusal. She continued, “Let me bite you once.”
“No, no, absolutely not!”
Song Linlin immediately refused, afraid that she would bite down the next second. Her speech quickened, “Biting hurts a lot! And, and it will definitely leave a mark. I just slept in this room, and if a bite mark suddenly appears on my neck, I’ll definitely be suspected!”
“You can’t be so overbearing! We can talk this out…”
She spoke a large amount non-stop, but Chi Qianning, hearing it from below, just let out a dismissive “Hmph.”
“This tiny mark, do you think I can’t heal it for you?” Chi Qianning countered confidently.
Song Linlin caught the key point, her eyes widening in shock. She asked, astounded, “Then why didn’t you erase the mark last time?”
So you could totally do it, but you just chose not to, is that it?
Chi Qianning chuckled lightly, “Didn’t you just call me overbearing?”
Song Linlin was speechless, only able to silently sigh in her heart: Sure enough, reasoning with a snake is impossible…
Seeing the other fall silent, Chi Qianning pleasantly continued, “I’ve changed my mind. Let me bite you twice.”
Song Linlin turned her head in shock. The two were too close—so close that if Song Linlin lowered her head just a little more, they would kiss.
Being this close, Song Linlin clearly saw the teasing and playfulness in the other’s eyes.
“Even if I said you were overbearing, it doesn’t mean you have to be persistent about being overbearing…”
Song Linlin really didn’t want to haggle with Chi Qianning anymore, lest the other act even more shamelessly. She turned her head and offered her neck to the other’s mouth.
She hardened her heart and said bluntly, “Stop talking. Just bite me!”
“As you wish.”
Lips pressed against skin, teeth scraped against the surface, bringing a wave of ticklishness. After adjusting the angle, sharp fangs pierced the skin. Blood gushed out and was immediately licked away by the tongue. The oral cavity was filled with the metallic sweetness of fresh blood.
“Ah…”
The moment her skin was pierced, Song Linlin couldn’t help but let out a soft moan.
The sweet, metallic smell of blood stimulated Chi Qianning’s brain nerves. Her animal instincts were awakened, and the desire for blood intensified.
She couldn’t help but increase the pressure, satisfied with the increased flow of blood, greedily, almost desperately sucking and swallowing the fatally fragrant blood.
“Hmm… Haa…”
Song Linlin covered her mouth, trying her best not to make any strange noises, yet she couldn’t control the soft, broken gasps that escaped.
She felt like Chi Qianning was biting harder this time than the last. The stinging pain in her neck persisted, and an all-encompassing itch spread throughout her body.
Her magical energy was being rapidly sucked away and plundered.
And Chi Qianning was indeed biting deeper than last time. She knew it would hurt, or rather, she was deliberately doing it.
She recalled Song Linlin coming back after just one outing with a hairpin given by someone else, or the fact that she really did leave when Chi Qianning said she wouldn’t go out with her.
These things inexplicably made Chi Qianning annoyed, like going back to a time when prey, which was right by her mouth when she was first born, managed to escape.
That was a very long time ago, only happening during her ignorant phase. Now, she was a very mature hunter, and such things shouldn’t be allowed to happen.
This awkward feeling made Chi Qianning bite a little harder again, as if to vent all the discomfort bottled up inside.
However, Chi Qianning still had a sense of proportion. This would only cause Song Linlin more pain, but it wouldn’t lead to any other issues.
Song Linlin was completely exhausted now. She truly didn’t have the extra strength to resist the other’s actions and could only lie limply on Chi Qianning, letting her suck her blood and magical energy.
After an unknown amount of time, just as Song Linlin felt she was about to be drained dry, the other finally released her tight grip.
Chi Qianning retreated slightly, looking at the moist wound. The fair skin was covered in wet marks. As the teeth withdrew, a little more blood still seeped out from the bright red wound, spreading across the water marks on the skin’s surface.
She leaned in again and licked the wound, cleaning away the overflowing blood. With her lick, the wound quickly healed, leaving no visible trace.
Except for the redness left by the forceful suction on that patch of skin, there was no other anomaly.
“Haa… So painful…”
Song Linlin lay on Chi Qianning, muttering weakly and spiritlessly.
Chi Qianning was in a pleasant mood after taking that bite. She allowed the other to continue lying bonelessly on her, even kindly raising her hand to stroke the top of Song Linlin’s head, like petting a pet.
“The wound is healed,” she said softly, her voice rising at the end, clearly in a good mood.
“Oh…”
Song Linlin didn’t have the energy to respond; she just wanted to lie there without moving. Although Chi Qianning was cool, it was quite comfortable lying on her like this—at least she was soft enough.
“You are so weak,” Chi Qianning couldn’t help but say. She hadn’t sucked much magical energy, yet the other’s energy was almost depleted.
It was hardly enough to satisfy her.
Such a weak human was truly pitiful.
Song Linlin: …
If you think I’m weak, then don’t suck me dry…
