After Transmigrating as the Northeast CEO's Pampered Little Husband - Chapter 61
Qiu Yu, carrying his pink backpack, opened the door to his new room-mate’s room, holding a plate topped with a small cake. He intended to share his homemade dessert with his room-mate, confident he could win him over with his charm.
However, when he opened the door and saw two figures entangled in an embrace on the bed, struggling inside the duvet cover, he decided this world was simply filled with people intent on killing single dogs.
“Hello my dear… Bloody hell! My apologies!”
Bang!
He slammed the door shut, mechanically stuffing the dessert he was holding into his own mouth. Qiu Yu glanced at his room-mate’s door number…
- Perfect. This place was a professional killer for single people!
“Hello? Mum? I want to go on a blind date, yes, a blind date! I’ve made up my mind!” Qiu Yu stood in front of the mirror, looking at his little dress. He suddenly felt this world was filled with malice towards cross-dressing beauties!
Why couldn’t he find a boyfriend even when dressed in women’s clothes?!
“Mmm?”
Startled by Qiu Yu’s sudden intrusion, Gu Jiaoyang quickly wiped his mouth. He wanted to look outside to see who it was, but the two of them were completely zipped inside the duvet cover and couldn’t poke their heads out.
How embarrassing.
“Time to get up.”
Gu Jiaoyang patted Dai Gucan’s shoulder, helping him zip up the cover.
“Mm,” Dai Gucan replied quietly. The temperature inside the duvet cover had become unbearably hot from their activities—it was two male bodies generating heat, after all. The brand-new duvet cover was now slightly damp in places and needed replacing.
“What time is it?”
“Almost noon.”
Dai Gucan stroked Gu Jiaoyang’s face, emerging first from the duvet cover for a breath of fresh air. He washed his face in the bathroom, then picked up the slightly weakened Gu Jiaoyang to help him wash his hands.
“I want ice cream.”
Gu Jiaoyang, held and cleaned by Dai Gucan, tilted his head and rubbed his nose against Dai Gucan’s chin, his tone soft and suggestive.
“Alright,” Dai Gucan said, pinching Gu Jiaoyang’s earlobe. He placed him on the bed to change into a fresh set of clothes, stuffing the discarded ones into the washing machine.
“That must have been my room-mate just now,” Gu Jiaoyang yawned, leaning against Dai Gucan’s neck, letting him change his shorts.
“It seems so. Shall we go and say hello?”
“Mm, I want to give him those packets of snacks. I wonder what course he’s on.”
“Okay.”
The two of them cuddled a little longer, then packaged up a selection of snacks. Gu Jiaoyang carried them over and knocked on the room-mate’s door opposite.
“Knock, knock, knock!”
“What!”
Qiu Yu was still changing inside. He had just swapped his chiffon puff-sleeved blouse for a men’s T-shirt, but he still had his skirt on. He yanked the door open aggressively, holding the skirt up.
“You… erm, hello. I’m your room-mate, across the hall. These snacks are for you…”
Gu Jiaoyang was taken aback by the aggressive posture. He wondered if he had somehow offended him. Then, upon closer inspection of the person’s attire, his own assertive air deflated.
A cross-dressing beauty?
Mustn’t offend. Can’t afford to offend…
As if an unpleasant memory had been triggered, Gu Jiaoyang instinctively leaned closer to Dai Gucan behind him.
“Oh! Hello! I’m Qiu Yu, Oil Painting major. But let me warn you upfront: if you bring your boyfriend back late at night and make strange noises, I will make sure you feel the wrath of a single dog!”
Qiu Yu snatched the scissors from the table by the door and snapped them menacingly twice, flashing a terrifying grin.
“Ah, I’m Gu Jiaoyang, also Oil Painting. Ah, no, he won’t. My boyfriend is quite busy.” Gu Jiaoyang rubbed his nose, slightly awkward, and pushed the bag of snacks into Qiu Yu’s arms.
“Hello.” Dai Gucan, feeling a sudden coldness, managed to maintain his adult composure when the scissors came out. He nodded at Qiu Yu by way of greeting.
“Well, you’re busy, so we’re off to eat now.” Gu Jiaoyang said goodbye to Qiu Yu and pulled Dai Gucan towards the campus canteen.
“How about we relive your student days? Professor Dai?”
Gu Jiaoyang took a running jump onto Dai Gucan’s back from the steps. Although he called him ‘Professor’, his actions showed no sign of respect, as he gently teased Dai Gucan’s ear from behind.
As a CEO, Dai Gucan still exercised weekly to cope with business stress. His muscles were firm. Gu Jiaoyang, nearly 1.8 metres tall, didn’t strain him at all. Dai Gucan simply wrapped his arms under his little boyfriend’s thighs and carried him easily.
“Mm.”
“Then can your obedient student receive a reward from Professor Dai?” Gu Jiaoyang happily hugged his neck, thoroughly enjoying the role-play.
“What reward do you want?” Dai Gucan walked slowly beneath the shade of the plane trees, carrying Gu Jiaoyang on his back.
The campus paths were wide. Since it was noon, there weren’t many people around. The concrete paths were lined with French plane trees, thick enough for two people to hug, their deep green leaves interlocking overhead to form a canopy of shade. Occasionally, a gentle breeze rustled through the leaves, causing the patches of sunlight filtering through the gaps to flicker, looking like stars scattered on the ground.
Students on bicycles, carrying luggage, passed by occasionally, as did older students with textbooks and bags, offering a friendly smile.
They probably genuinely assumed this was a younger student affectionately clinging to his relative, and their gazes didn’t linger.
“Your obedient student wants many things. Professor might not be able to satisfy me.” Gu Jiaoyang was held securely by Dai Gucan’s arms. He reached out to grab a patch of light falling through the leaves, wiggled his toes, and ordered Dai Gucan to walk along the same coloured paving slabs, warning him not to step on a different colour.
“How old are you to still be playing this game?” Dai Gucan chuckled helplessly at Gu Jiaoyang’s directions. If he deliberately stepped onto a different coloured slab, the boy on his back would hug his neck and shake him wildly, insisting he move back to the correct colour.
Though he teased him, Dai Gucan purposefully stepped on the wrong colours every few steps, letting Gu Jiaoyang point and shout directions from his back.
“That junior and his uncle have such a good relationship.”
From a distance, a female student who saw the scene quietly whispered to her friend, sounding a little envious.
She recalled reporting to university alone; her parents hadn’t come to drop her off, finding it too far.
“I know! If I tried to fuss over my Dad like that, he’d instantly assume I wanted something from him! By my reckoning, he hasn’t given me a piggyback ride in sixteen years!”
Her friend also looked wistfully at the two playing in the shade.
“But maybe they’re brothers. Hey, have you seen the new comic from Ta Ta?! I think this could be a good ship!!”
“You’re right, you’re right. Even if they don’t look exactly alike, they could be cousins! Ahhh, a forbidden romance! I’m completely on board!!”
Having stumbled onto a shared, intriguing topic, the two young women huddled together, whispering excitedly.
Gu Jiaoyang and Dai Gucan didn’t notice them, entirely absorbed in their game of “don’t step on the wrong colour or lose a life.”
“Are all the things put away?”
Xichuan Bai closed his tablet and looked at his butler.
“Yes, Young Master. Do you have any other instructions?” The old butler looked at the time and asked respectfully.
However, the respect didn’t seem to be directed at the young man in front of him.
“No, that’s all. You may leave.” Xichuan Bai didn’t pay attention to the details. He waved his hand.
“Yes, Young Master. I hope you haven’t forgotten the Master’s instructions. Allowing you to come to Changjing Academy of Fine Arts to pursue your ‘dream’ was the maximum compromise.”
The butler replied submissively, then led his people out of the dormitory.
“Tch, old fool. Once I gain the support of the Dai Corporation, it’s not certain who will control the Xi family!”
Xichuan Bai viciously kicked the suitcase next to him after the butler left. He yelped in pain, then continued to mutter curses under his breath.
Host, your target has appeared within the map range. It is recommended that you proceed immediately.
The system in his mind spoke. Xichuan Bai rubbed his foot, closed his mouth, changed into a pure white outfit, sprayed some cologne, fixed his expression in the mirror, and set out to find his target.
He must obtain the Dai Corporation!
