- After the Strategy Failed, the Heroine Turned into a Crematorium
- Chapter 34 - Nesting 2
The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, save for the occasional sniffles from Bian You.
Her nose red from crying, Bian You clutched her throbbing head, casting a pitiful, aggrieved look at Qi Zhi’e before bursting into even louder sobs.
Why couldn’t E’e be called Qiqi? That affectionate nickname was something she had secretly cherished and whispered to herself for ages yet she had the nerve to hit her!
Bian You was overwhelmed with misery. She had actually given her a knuckle rap, she didn’t love her anymore!
Watching her transform into this teary, sulky mess, Qi Zhi’e felt an unprecedented headache. Rubbing her temples, she finally relented, surrendering to the situation.
Without any gentleness, Qi Zhi’e grabbed Bian You by the collar and dragged her toward the bathroom.
Stumbling from the sudden pull, Bian You momentarily forgot her tears, her voice still thick with sobs. “Qiqi… c-can’t breathe.”
Might as well strangle her and be done with it.
Never before had Qi Zhi’e regretted her decision to use Bian You so bitterly. If she hadn’t planned to exploit her, if she had just pushed her away from the start, she wouldn’t be suffering like this now!
Putting up with her usual antics was one thing, but this woman had a truly unparalleled talent for irritation. Why was she so obsessed with these absurd nicknames anyway?
The moment her grip loosened slightly, she felt the hem of her clothes being tugged.
Qi Zhi’e looked down at the fabric clutched tightly in Bian You’s hand, her emotions already numb.
An omega in heat, still nesting Bian You was a nightmare to deal with.
Ignoring her clinginess, Qi Zhi’e led her into the bathroom without further fuss. While filling the tub, Bian You remained glued to her side, fingers still twisted in her clothes like a persistent little tail.
“Take off your clothes,” Qi Zhi’e ordered.
Bian You gave the hem a slight shake, an unmistakably coquettish gesture. The next second, Qi Zhi’e confirmed it was indeed deliberate.
With her other hand, Bian You guided Qi Zhi’e’s fingers to the wrinkled collar of her own shirt, her damp, luminous eyes brimming with expectation as she mumbled, “Qiqi, help me take it off.”
Qi Zhi’e raised her hand, curling two fingers into a knuckle, and flashed her a smile.
Recognizing the threat, Bian You instinctively ducked her head, peeking up at her timidly while muttering a feeble protest.
“You can’t hit me again. That’s domestic violence, it’s wrong.”
Qi Zhi’e shut her eyes in agony, feeling like she’d brought home a tyrant.
Was Bian You’s worth really worth all this torment?
Did she really like her this much? Enough to turn herself into… this?
With a silent sigh, Qi Zhi’e lowered her hand, resigning herself to undressing Bian You.
Seeing she wasn’t going to get another knuckle rap, Bian You’s pout instantly melted into a radiant, delighted grin.
Qiqi still loved her after all.
Thankfully, Qi Zhi’e had no idea what she was thinking otherwise, she’d have given her another rap to teach her a lesson.
Fortunately, despite being a handful, Bian You was at least cooperative. Qi Zhi’e swiftly stripped her and tossed the clothes into the laundry basket.
After a quick rinse, Qi Zhi’e pointed at the bathtub.
“Get in.”
This time, Bian You didn’t make a fuss. With an obedient “oh,” she stepped into the bathtub, curling her legs while leaning her upper body against the rim, gazing eagerly at Qi Zhi’e.
“Qiqi, come wash with me, okay?”
At this moment, Bian You had absolutely no sense of shame.
Qi Zhi’e tapped her forehead with a fingertip and smiled. “Sit back properly.”
The tap on her forehead and that tone of voice made even the currently dull Bian You sense danger. She obediently slid back until the water reached her chin, though her eyes remained fixed on Qi Zhi’e.
Qi Zhi’e paid no mind to being watched, calmly removing her own clothes, which had gotten slightly damp earlier while helping Bian You rinse.
Seeing that Qi Zhi’e only stood under the shower without any intention of joining her in the bath, Bian You pouted and began washing herself as instructed.
Halfway through, however, she grew restless again at the sight of the empty water.
“Qiqi, my little yellow duck.”
Qi Zhi’e remained silent.
Only after Bian You moved in and they started living together did Qi Zhi’e truly realize just how childish Bian You could be.
It wasn’t just her fondness for fluffy, cute things, she loved collecting them. Now, the house was filled with adorable trinkets she’d gathered.
And she was childish enough to insist on having a few rubber ducks accompany her during baths.
Qi Zhi’e reached for the ducks on the shelf and tossed them into the tub. Immediately, Bian You’s face lit up as she began playing with them.
“Stop fooling around and wash yourself properly,” Qi Zhi’e frowned.
This whole scene made her feel like some nagging old mother.
Irritated, Qi Zhi’e shot a glance at the oblivious Bian You.
“Okay.”
Bian You still listened to her. She stopped playing with the ducks and started washing herself seriously.
Compared to before Qi Zhi’e returned, Bian You’s emotions had stabilized considerably, though she hadn’t yet shaken off the nesting instinct that extreme dependence on her mate.
After their bath, Bian You clung to Qi Zhi’e’s fragrant, smooth body, nuzzling contentedly.
Back in the bedroom, Qi Zhi’e’s eye twitched at the sight of the messy bed. She glanced at the culprit, then led Bian You to what used to be her own room.
Naturally, Bian You had no objections. Right now, her entire world revolved around Qi Zhi’e, she wouldn’t have noticed even if the sky fell.
Once the door was closed, Qi Zhi’e pinned Bian You against it, kissing her scent gland before sinking her teeth in, marking the alpha once more.
A flood of omega pheromones poured into Bian You’s body through the gland, soothing her unease while simultaneously igniting her like a spark to a barrel of oil flames roaring skyward.
Bian You whimpered, tears welling up in her eyes again, looking pitiful yet endearing.
As the teeth that had hurt her withdrew, a tongue continued to lick and circle the spot. The tingling, overwhelming pleasure consumed Bian You entirely, her body trembling between Qi Zhi’e and the door.
She had no resistance whatsoever against Qi Zhi’e.
She loved being treated like this by her.
When pinned to the bed, Bian You opened her misty eyes, seeming to regain a sliver of awareness.
Pouting, she struggled to push Qi Zhi’e down.
“Let me, let me do it.”
She desperately wanted Qi Zhi’e, but she hadn’t been allowed to touch her for so long.
The thought made Bian You sulk, she was about to go on a business trip, yet Qi Zhi’e wouldn’t even give her a little taste in advance.
Qi Zhi’e held her down firmly. Bian You squirmed beneath her like a restless little worm, prompting Qi Zhi’e to pinch her pouting lips and say coolly, “Stop moving.”
Her tone successfully intimidated Bian You, though her eyes still held a hint of defiance, glaring stubbornly.
Qi Zhi’e chuckled, ignoring her little tantrum, and tugged open Bian You’s loose bathrobe, pressing kisses along her shoulder.
As Qi Zhi’e’s movements grew more intense, tears welled up in Bian You’s eyes until they overflowed, slipping down her cheeks and disappearing into her hair alongside her soft whimpers.
After a sudden stiffening, Bian You’s body went limp, and she buried her face in the pillow, her exposed ears burning red with embarrassment.
Now much more sober, Bian You cringed at the memory of her earlier actions, wishing she could dig a hole and bury herself in it.
Qi Zhi’e wrapped her arms around her, amusement lacing her voice. “Back to your senses?”
Bian You sniffled. Her mind was clearer now, but her body wasn’t quite there yet.
Determined to reclaim her dignity, Bian You swiftly flipped them over, pinning Qi Zhi’e beneath her. With red-rimmed eyes and a flushed nose, she declared with little conviction, “Don’t get cocky!”
She pulled one of Qi Zhi’e’s legs against her and instantly felt how wet she was too far from the composed indifference she pretended to have.
Qi Zhi’e watched her with quiet laughter. Thankfully, Bian You had a pretty face, because from this unflattering angle, it would’ve been a disaster otherwise.
She didn’t stop Bian You, letting her have her way.
Eventually, as the heat subsided, the two fell into a deep sleep, their scents mingling completely in the air.
Qi Zhi’e woke up from hunger. Outside, the night was still thick, and a glance at the time told her it was already four in the morning.
Not surprising, she hadn’t eaten dinner, and the exertion with Bian You had drained her completely. Now, her stomach growled rudely.
Looking at Bian You, still fast asleep, Qi Zhi’e could only order some takeout.
When the food arrived, she wondered if Bian You had eaten at all while she was away during the day and decided to wake her.
“Mmm? Qiqi?” Bian You blinked drowsily at her.
Qi Zhi’e: “…” She’d long given up on correcting her.
“Go wash up. Then come eat.”
Bian You blinked again, waking up a little more as she realized just how starving she was.
She nodded and headed to the bathroom. Seeing that she was steady on her feet, Qi Zhi’e left her to it and went to the dining area to start eating.
The warm porridge soothed her stomach, making her feel infinitely better.
When Bian You emerged, she saw Qi Zhi’e with her eyes half-lidded in contentment, and her own eyes instantly brightened, her heartbeat quickening.
She looked just like a feline, especially with the lazy aura surrounding her, deepening the resemblance.
Bian You sat down to eat, but halfway through, she suddenly remembered something and hurriedly grabbed her phone. Without caring that it was the middle of the night, she sent Bian Lian a message saying she had unexpectedly entered her sensitive period and needed to postpone her business trip.
Qi Zhi’e merely glanced at her actions indifferently. After finishing her meal, she went to freshen up before returning to her master bedroom, stripping the bed of all its linens and replacing even the sheets and duvet covers.
Comfortably settling in, Qi Zhi’e let out a small yawn and closed her eyes, intending to go back to sleep.
But someone seemed determined to thwart her plans.
Bian You pounced onto the bed like an excited puppy, nuzzling against Qi Zhi’e and chirping happily, “Qiqi, you promised me, one day where I can do whatever I want!”
As Bian You’s restless movements grew more vigorous, Qi Zhi’e suddenly noticed something amiss, her expression instantly shifting.
She flipped over and sat up, yanking open Bian You’s bathrobe. What she saw inside made her both relieved and simultaneously pale with shock.
Bian You was startled by her bold action, blinking rapidly and staying silent for the moment as she watched Qi Zhi’e’s expression darken.
Qi Zhi’e smacked her, gritting her teeth slightly.
“Bian You, are you some kind of pervert?”
She had initially thought Bian You was wearing some kind of toy, but upon closer inspection, she realized it was far worse than that.
Below Bian You’s waist, there was now a finger-like appendage and judging by the details, Qi Zhi’e recognized it as Bian You’s own finger.
“Ow!”
Bian You clutched the sore spot, tears welling up from the sting of Qi Zhi’e’s heavy-handed smack. “How am I a pervert?” she whined. “I just wanted to experience what it’s like to have my hands free!”
And to make it easier for both of them to accept, she had modeled it after her own finger!
Qi Zhi’e’s face cycled between pale and livid. Was she seriously trying to justify this?
Bian You tugged at her sleeve, cautiously watching her expression as she mumbled, “I didn’t use that as a reference.”
Qi Zhi’e was speechless. Did she expect to be praised for this?
