After the Straight Male Incubus Became a Heartthrob - Chapter 18
Liang Wenle’s bedroom was decorated warmly, primarily in cream tones, with shelves filled with various car models. What was particularly surprising was that the bedroom connected to an oversized walk-in closet. The clothes inside were so numerous that one could go five or six years without wearing the same outfit twice. There were all kinds of matching shoes and accessories, comparable to a high-end boutique.
No wonder he wore something different to school every day. Being rich was truly wonderful; even clothes had their own separate home. Ye Lin felt like crying out of envy, feeling more than ever that his own road to wealth was long and arduous.
Liang Wenle handed a set of white pajamas to Ye Lin. “I wore these in high school. They should fit you. The bathroom is on the left. You must wash yourself thoroughly; I hate smelly things the most!”
Taking the pajamas, Ye Lin noticed the fabric felt incredibly comfortable and was likely very expensive. He nodded repeatedly. “Understood. I definitely will not get your room dirty, Wenle.”
The body wash smelled wonderful. It was not a cheap artificial scent, but a pure natural plant fragrance, like a mix of laurel and jasmine with a faint, sweet hint of orange. Liang Wenle always smelled fragrant, unlike Gu Jiazhi, who usually had no scent at all, or at most, a monotonous woody fragrance.
Marveling at Liang Wenle’s refined lifestyle, Ye Lin returned to the room and only dared to sit on the edge of the bed, scrolling through his messages. Unfortunately, Gu Jiazhi still had not replied to him. Instead, Shen Shao had sent a friend request.
How annoying! The thought of that jerk holding leverage over him made him furious. He decided not to accept it for now; he would wait a couple of days so Shen Shao would not get too smug.
Liang Wenle lay down beside him after his shower and patted the bed. “Hurry up and lie down to sleep. I have school tomorrow and need to wake up early.”
Ye Lin put down his phone and lay down, intentionally keeping his distance. Looking at this spoiled brat wearing high school pajamas and smelling exactly like him, Ye Lin felt a strange sense of having gained someone who belonged exclusively to him.
Liang Wenle’s mood was peculiar. He pulled Ye Lin into his arms and kissed him, only satisfied after repeatedly confirming their shared scent. Ye Lin did not dare to struggle too hard and simply let him have his way. Fortunately, Liang Wenle only kissed him for a while before turning off the light to sleep without doing anything further.
Liang Wenle had that familiar dream again. He and Ye Lin embraced and kissed for a long, long time. They did not stop until both were nearly out of breath. Ye Lin was still holding his hand, his breathing uneven and his voice soft. “Wenle, let us do something else.”
The next moment, Liang Wenle woke up. He discovered he had soiled the bedsheets again and sighed helplessly. Beside him, Ye Lin was fast asleep, lying on his side. The fine peach fuzz on his face appeared pale white, rising and falling gently with his breath.
Liang Wenle finally realized he must have taken the wrong medicine yesterday to actually let Ye Lin sleep beside him and kiss him for so long. Had he drunk so much that his mind was clouded?
“Mmh,” Ye Lin suddenly made a small sound, his lips parting slightly.
Liang Wenle remembered the taste from last night. Having never experienced such a sensation before, he naturally could not resist. He slapped Ye Lin’s face firmly. “Lazy pig, get up!”
Ye Lin’s cheek turned red instantly. He grimaced in pain, but squinting at Liang Wenle, he did not dare to lose his temper. He simply sat up. “I know.”
It was then that Liang Wenle noticed a ring of bruising on Ye Lin’s left wrist, clearly caused by someone gripping it forcefully. “What happened to your left hand?”
“Oh, this. It was from you last night, Wenle. You were drunk and kept clinging to me, so you must have squeezed a bit too hard.”
“Is that so? Why do I not remember squeezing that hard?” Liang Wenle tried to recall, but his head only ached. He truly could not remember gripping Ye Lin’s wrist with such force.
“You did. Alcohol makes you forget things; you probably just forgot, Wenle.” Ye Lin’s heart was pounding with panic, but he maintained a look of innocent pity. “But it is fine. It will fade in a few days. Do not worry about it.”
“I was not going to worry about it anyway. Who cares about you!” Liang Wenle opened the nightstand, took out some ointment, and handed it over. “It serves you right. You must have provoked me for me to use force!”
Taking the ointment, Ye Lin apologized repeatedly. “Yes, I am slow-witted and always make you angry. I deserve it!”
Liang Wenle hummed with satisfaction and urged him to wash up quickly for class.
They left early today. When they reached the classroom, there were not many people yet, so they could choose seats in the back row by the window. Liang Wenle remembered he had a handwritten assignment he had not finished, so he placed it in front of Ye Lin and demanded he help copy it.
Though reluctant, Ye Lin obediently picked up the pen to write. He was submissive to Liang Wenle and would not resist. Fortunately, the assignment was short, and he finished in a few minutes. Liang Wenle then asked him to go out and buy drinks and fruit to pass the time during class.
Ye Lin had to walk quite a distance to the shops. On the way, he tried calling and messaging Gu Jiazhi again. This guy still would not answer, as if he had vanished from the face of the earth.
His hunger value was at a dangerous level, yet Gu Jiazhi would not pick up the phone. Was he trying to kill him? It seemed “good brothers” were unreliable after all. How infuriating!
[System]: Hunger value at 87 percent. Please replenish energy, Host.
Hearing the system’s reminder, Ye Lin grew even more irritable, nearly crushing the drink bottle in his hand. As he entered the classroom, he could not help but think that maybe he should just let Liang Wenle kiss him for a bit. It was only a temporary fix, but every little bit helped.
Ye Lin walked over to Liang Wenle and handed him the items. Five minutes before class started, he saw Gu Jiazhi walk in through the back and pick a random seat in the back row. Gu Jiazhi expertly opened his textbook, picked up his pen, and looked toward the lectern in one fluid motion, never once looking at Ye Lin.
This guy!
Ye Lin was nearly exploding with anger. What was this supposed to mean? Was he giving him the cold shoulder or trying to cut ties? He was right there in the classroom, yet he still would not reply to messages!
Liang Wenle noticed Ye Lin constantly squeezing a biscuit wrapper and asked, “What is wrong with you? Did the biscuits offend you?”
Ye Lin quickly let go and gave a forced laugh. “Nothing is wrong.”
With that, Ye Lin opened a bottle of strawberry juice and took a few sips. The red juice lingered on his lips, making them look moist and soft, just like the night before. Liang Wenle felt an itch in his heart. He used his textbook to shield himself and Ye Lin and whispered, “Come closer. I want to kiss you.”
Ye Lin froze for a moment and whispered a reminder. “This is a classroom.”
Before he could react, the lips were already pressed against his. Mindful of the people around them, it was only a brief taste. The irritability in Liang Wenle’s heart was finally soothed, but because it was so short, he felt unsatisfied. He was eighteen and had just started university; yesterday’s events had introduced him to a new world, and he could not help but explore it tirelessly and without restraint.
Ye Lin saw the professor walk in and quickly pushed the book away. At the same moment, he happened to lock eyes with Gu Jiazhi to his left. A wave of intense resentment was brewing in Gu Jiazhi’s eyes as he stared at him and Liang Wenle. Although he did not speak, Ye Lin felt like he was being cursed out.
How bizarre. How had he offended him again?
Ye Lin was already resentful about the lack of contact. Feeling Gu Jiazhi’s hostility, he simply turned his head away. If it was a cold war he wanted, fine! He was not afraid. At worst, they would stop being friends! Was Gu Jiazhi his only friend?
The more Ye Lin thought about it, the angrier and more wronged he felt. He had truly considered Gu Jiazhi a friend and had even shared his weaknesses, yet the other person did not care about him at all. An unequal friendship would not last. Just as Liu Bei conquered the world by relying on trusted friends like Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, if Gu Jiazhi’s bond with him was not deep enough, Ye Lin would not help him once he struck it rich!
Ye Lin secretly swore to himself that he would succeed and make Gu Jiazhi regret this.
Liang Wenle grabbed his hand and whispered, “Let us go outside. This place is no good.”
Ye Lin instinctively stood up and followed him out the back without asking questions. As soon as they reached a secluded part of the hallway, he was pinned and kissed. Liang Wenle seemed addicted, unable to get enough, and he held Ye Lin tightly so he could not move.
Ye Lin was busy dealing with him while keeping an eye out for pedestrians, terrified of being discovered. “Wenle, let us go back. People are always passing through here.”
“Then let us find another place. I do not want to go back to the classroom.” Liang Wenle leaned into the crook of Ye Lin’s neck, smelling the scent of his own body wash, feeling immensely satisfied.
“Wenle, you still want to kiss? That is enough, right?” Ye Lin was truly exhausted; he had not expected Liang Wenle to become so obsessed with this.
“I want to. I like this feeling.” No sooner had Liang Wenle spoken than he began the next round.
Ye Lin was so entangled he could hardly breathe; his cheeks were flushed from holding his breath. He tried to push him away, but his movements were restricted. He could only tilt his neck back and endure it. His legs were trembling like reeds swaying in the wind, pitiful and fragile. Tears welled in his eyes, and his breathing became unstable as if he were suffocating.
Ye Lin desperately wanted to persuade Liang Wenle, but he had no chance to speak. He even felt a bit of pain; his lips were likely becoming swollen.
At one point, he saw a familiar figure at the end of the hallway. It was Gu Jiazhi.
Liang Wenle finally let go, his expression still lingering on the sensation. “I feel like your mind is wandering. That is so unfair!”
Ye Lin pushed him hard. “People are here! Someone might take a photo and post it online!”
Liang Wenle turned around and saw that Gu Jiazhi had arrived in front of them. He laughed relaxedly and patted his shoulder. “Jiazhi, it is you! That is perfect. Keep a lookout for me, otherwise Ye Lin keeps worrying, and it is affecting our kissing.”
Gu Jiazhi did not look at him, instead staring at Ye Lin. “Oh? What is he worried about?”
Liang Wenle found his attitude a bit strange today but answered anyway. “Worried about being seen. Since you are my friend, Jiazhi, it does not matter if you see us.”
Ye Lin’s cheeks were flushed, and he had just caught his breath. “There is still a risk of being seen by others. Besides, this is not good, Wenle.”
Liang Wenle huffed. “I think it is great! Forget it, let us just skip class. You should come home with me!”
Ye Lin did not want to be tortured anymore and quickly made an excuse. “Wenle, if your parents find out you skipped class, you will definitely be scolded. Let us not.”
Liang Wenle waved it off. “They will not find out.”
At this point, Ye Lin could only look at Gu Jiazhi. He hoped the guy had at least some conscience and would say a few words to help him. Then their friendship might still be saved.
Gu Jiazhi’s face was dark, radiating a deathly aura. He seemed like a swamp deep in a forest, dark, damp, and smelling of decay, completely devoid of life.
