- Chapter 21 - Eleven Times a Month: I Have Plenty of Ways to Strip You of Your Dignity
The good news was that the Humiliation Points granted by the “Grape Humiliation” did not drop any further after hitting 1. As long as Yue Mingcang ate a grape, Long Yin could harvest one point.
Even better news: during Yue Mingcang’s fifth visit this month, Long Yin finally gathered the 45 Humiliation Points he needed!
This was the first time Long Yin had collected enough points, and it was the closest he had ever been to a successful roleplay; he was just one final step away. Even though his score only barely touched the passing line, and a halved passing line at that, Long Yin was still very, very happy.
With this joy came the realization that this was likely his only chance at success. Consequently, the world of Dragon Port was likely the only world that would allow him to stay. He was not a greedy person; succeeding once was enough for him.
Now, all he had to do was finish the remaining plot, leave for a far-off land after bankruptcy to start over, and he could spend the rest of his happy life in the Dragon Port world.
However, to carry out this plan, Long Yin had to face one piece of bad news alongside the two good ones:
This was the eleventh time he had seen Yue Mingcang this month.
Yes, eleven times.
There are only thirty days in a month, and he had already seen Yue Mingcang eleven times! There were less than three days left before the deadline of the gambling agreement.
Logically, Yue Mingcang should be leading his team through day and night of overtime work right now, not walking into his office wearing a floral shirt and black sunglasses, holding some “treasure” snacks found from some obscure corner!
The first time is strange, the second time is familiar; so, what happens when a thing is repeated eleven times?
It becomes a fully automated, fixed routine.
Even if Long Yin was handling important work and could not take his eyes or hands off the computer, Yue Mingcang would approach on his own, put the gift bag on the desk on his own, unbuckle his belt on his own, and sit on him on his own.
Long Yin was forced to free up one hand to hold Yue Mingcang’s waist to prevent him from falling, while the other hand insisted on processing work, typing away at the keyboard.
In the next second, the keyboard was pushed aside by Yue Mingcang.
“It is a pity to waste such a wonderful time on work, do you not think so, Young Lord?”
Yue Mingcang said, completely subverting the natural order.
He was not afraid of Long Yin’s anger at all. No matter what he did, Long Yin would get angry; Long Yin always had a huffy look in front of him. But that also meant he could do anything.
Long Yin glared at him in anger.
Yue Mingcang met those round golden eyes without flinching and said with a smile, “The weather is quite nice today. Do you want to go out and catch the sea breeze, Young Master?”
“Young Master” was a term of endearment unique to them; only Yue Mingcang used it, and only Yue Mingcang dared to use it.
To others, Long Yin never had a “Young Master” phase. From the day he burst onto the scene, he was a “tyrant” with more means and boldness than Old Lord Dragon. Compared to a title like “tyrant,” the “Young Lord” title inherited from Old Lord Dragon actually seemed more approachable.
But to Yue Mingcang, Long Yin had always been the “Young Master” from start to finish. He was a “Young Master” who was much younger, much more beautiful, and much greener than anyone he had ever met in the business world.
Long Yin looked up at Yue Mingcang, his tone cold enough to drop ice shards. “You really should catch some breeze.”
Yue Mingcang was overjoyed. “Then shall we go?”
Long Yin continued, “To dry the water out of your brain!”
Yue Mingcang was silent.
Long Yin said angrily, “How many times have you come to find me this month? Count it yourself! Do you not feel humiliated? Ha! You surely do not think it is a glorious thing to come to me time and time again seeking the back door!”
Yue Mingcang looked down and feigned a look of shame, just as Long Yin hoped.
However, what he was thinking in his heart was: Why is it not glorious? Where is the shame?
If the target were Old Lord Dragon, selling his looks for resources would indeed be unpleasant if it leaked out. But his target now was Long Yin. The only problem he needed to solve was how to keep himself from laughing while he was both eating and taking.
Seeing Yue Mingcang’s tightly pursed lips and silence, Long Yin felt he might have gone a bit too far. He softened his tone slightly, trying to guide him:
“I can lend you money. You have seen that I have never made things difficult for you regarding the amount. So why can you not borrow more at once? Why must you come trip after trip?”
Yue Mingcang lied easily, “I am afraid that if I borrow too much, you will be angry.”
Long Yin retorted, “And you coming every few days like this does not make me angry?”
“Hmm? Are you angry? I clearly see that you are quite happy.”
Yue Mingcang raised his hand to pull his collar down further. The shirt, which already had several buttons undone, opened completely, revealing the scenery inside for Long Yin to enjoy.
This move never failed; it was the valuable experience Yue Mingcang had gained from these eleven intimate encounters with Long Yin.
“!”
Long Yin hurriedly looked away, his forceful aura vanishing instantly.
How was he supposed to answer that? He was certainly happy when Yue Mingcang came to him, because Yue Mingcang brought him Humiliation Points. Not to mention before when his points were not full, even now that they reached the passing line, he still did not mind getting more.
For a roleplayer who wanted to stay in the book world, the Humiliation Points that overflowed after hitting the passing line meant a longer life, a better body, and better luck. For someone who could bring Humiliation Points, Long Yin naturally liked them; there was no doubt about that.
However, on top of that, Long Yin had to admit another thing:
The happiness he felt when seeing Yue Mingcang was not entirely because of the Humiliation Points. Even without the points, he was very happy to see Yue Mingcang.
The Dragon race was naturally drawn to the Aura of Destiny, and Yue Mingcang was the person with the most Aura of Destiny in the Dragon Port world. Compared to the Children of Destiny in other worlds, Yue Mingcang was not only handsome and broad-chested, mature and reliable, but he also did not avoid Long Yin, who was disliked by the Heavenly Dao. Instead, he sent small gifts and Humiliation Points every few days.
Regardless of what Yue Mingcang’s purpose was, at least his surface-level effort was sufficient. Looking back at his roleplaying career, Yue Mingcang was undoubtedly his favorite person, without exception.
“Young Master, since you have work to do, how about a quick battle?”
Yue Mingcang proactively dragged the fruit plate on the desk toward himself and said considerately.
Long Yin was speechless.
Although he liked Yue Mingcang very much, the villain boss he played and Yue Mingcang were in a life-and-death struggle. They could not coexist peacefully, let alone have a “quick battle!”
Long Yin took a deep breath and spoke slowly, “If you think I only have this one method, then you are gravely mistaken.”
No matter how powerful a method is, its effect will be greatly reduced if used too many times. Just like the Grape Humiliation could give sixteen points at the start, but now it only gave one.
But who said he only knew the Grape Humiliation?
Yue Mingcang looked at Long Yin in confusion, not understanding what he meant.
Long Yin continued, “You want to borrow money from me? Fine. But there is a price to pay. I have plenty of ways to strip you of your dignity, and plenty of means to make your life worse than death. I will let it go this time, but next time, hehe, I suggest you consider carefully before coming back.”
His intention with these words was to scare Yue Mingcang off, making him weigh dignity against money.
However, Long Yin never dreamed that under his threat, Yue Mingcang felt no fear at all; instead, he was ecstatic.
What means? Is it the kind of means I am thinking of?
What “worse than death”? Is it that kind of “worse than death” in bed?
Does it have to be next time? Why not this time? Why not today?
He could not wait!
