- After the Beautiful Young Master's Arranged Marriage, He Was Targeted by His Ex-Boyfriend
- Chapter 1 - You Wouldn't Want Your Fiancé to Hear This, Would You?
“Mianmian, cover your mouth and don’t make a sound. If your fiancé sees this, I won’t care whether you live or die.”
The man leaned down and whispered into the young man’s ear. His tone was ambiguous and frivolous, with malice woven between every word.
The private room was noisy and boisterous, and the door to the washroom was left slightly ajar. The roars of laughter outside drowned out the seductive, gasping breaths echoing within the small space.
The young man tilted his head back, his fair neck appearing like fine mutton-fat jade. The skin on his chest was covered in deep, purple-bruised hickey marks, and blood-seeping teeth marks were imprinted along the side of his neck, as if they were a flagrant declaration of ownership.
The young man leaned against the wall, stark naked, the corners of his eyes flushed a vivid, shimmering red.
Tears rolled down, one drop after another; his eyes held nothing but despair.
He reached out to push the man in front of him, his voice hoarse as he whispered, “Mr. Chi… let go… please let go of me…”
The rowdy sounds of several young people outside the room drifted in, every word clearly audible.
“A-Chen, I heard your family found an arranged marriage partner for you?”
The sprawling private room was filled with commotion. Several young men sat around the card table, their postures reckless and unrestrained.
Chi Chen, suddenly addressed, lifted his eyelids to glance at the speaker. He pulled several cards from his hand and tossed them out, sneering disdainfully, “He? Worthy? He’s just an illegitimate son, and a man who can’t even bear children at that. They just heard I have a penchant for this type and sent him over to warm my bed. I’ll play with him for a few days, take what I can get from them, and then kick him to the curb.”
Hearing him say this, the people around him erupted into boisterous laughter, echoing his sentiments.
“Calling it an arranged marriage that’s just a nice way of putting it. It’s really just giving themselves a bit of face.”
“To think that a family would have to stoop to selling their son just to survive—it’s truly contemptible.”
“It’s nothing more than seeing that A-Chen has been promoted to General Manager, and with the ‘Little Uncle’ back, the Chi family is only getting stronger. They are desperately begging for a collaboration. Since they lack the capability, they resort to selling their children to make up for it. Anyone who sees the Feng family’s tactics would call them shameless. A bunch of self-righteous, stupid fools.”
“I wouldn’t say that. I caught a glimpse of that Feng Mian once. He actually looks quite decent; playing with him wouldn’t be a loss.”
Chi Chen let out a cold laugh. “They are willing to debase themselves, but I haven’t made any promises. Once I’ve slept with him and had my fun, I’ll just acquire the Feng enterprise. Why would I care if their family lives or dies?”
Every word was chillingly cold, as if this were nothing more than a trivial game to them.
Inside the washroom, Chi Mingzhou heard their words and let out a disdainful scoff.
He lowered his gaze to look down at the disheveled state of the young man before him; there was not a trace of pity in his eyes.
His gaze slowly drifted downward, landing on the young man’s lower abdomen, and he teased, “Chi Chen really has no eye for quality. With your status… you should be able to conceive a child, right?”
His lips parted slightly as he murmured the young man’s name.
“Feng Mian.”
Feng Mian’s face turned pale in an instant. He gritted his teeth, suppressing his emotions, and dared not utter another word.
Suddenly, Chi Mingzhou gripped his leg with force. “How about I take you out there and prove it to Chi Chen?”
The man’s voice was low and magnetic, enough to make one swoon, yet every word that spilled from those sexy, thin lips was bone-chilling.
Feng Mian’s expression faltered. He immediately pressed his hand against the man’s and pleaded in a panic, “No, don’t go out there… Mr. Chi, I…”
His words were cut off by Chi Mingzhou.
Chi Mingzhou said flippantly, “Stop calling me ‘Mr. Chi.’ You’re practically half a member of the Chi family now. From now on, you might as well follow Chi Chen’s lead and call me ‘Little Uncle’.”
He leaned in closer, and upon seeing the look of agony on Feng Mian’s face, he said, word by word, in a heavy tone, “What a coincidence. I said it before: if you ever fell into my hands again, I would make you wish you were dead.”
“Mianmian, I really should keep my promise…”
