Chapter 88: “Then when he’s gone next time, remember to contact me…”
In the early hours of the morning, Shen Qingyu’s soft, large bed was in disarray. Shen Qingyu gradually went from initial resistance and opposition to finding pleasure in it, even instinctively moving to accommodate Cheng Che’s movements.
A few hours later, Cheng Che carried Shen Qingyu into the bathroom to shower. He very patiently and gently cleaned him, not missing a single corner.
Submerged in the warm water, Shen Qingyu let out a contented sigh. He seemed to have abandoned all shame, squinting his eyes and allowing Cheng Che’s large hand to move over his body, cleaning him.
Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his inner thigh. He opened his eyes and saw Cheng Che staring intently at the spot, as if it was stained with something dirty, his eyes revealing a stubborn resentment.
Sensing his gaze, Cheng Che slowly looked up, a bead of sweat sliding down his forehead and resting on his prominent nose. He forced a smile at Shen Qingyu and asked, “Does it hurt?”
“I-it’s fine,” Shen Qingyu whispered.
“I’ll be gentler.” Cheng Che’s movements became softer, but he still didn’t ignore the spot, seemingly fixated on it.
For some reason, Shen Qingyu felt a little panicked. He reached out a trembling hand and touched Cheng Che’s shoulder, “I don’t want to wash anymore…”
But Cheng Che’s movement only paused for a moment; he didn’t respond to him. This was probably the first time Shen Qingyu had been ignored, and he felt an indescribable feeling in his heart.
After a while longer, Cheng Che finally lifted him out of the water, wrapped him in a quiet bath towel, and carefully dried him. Shen Qingyu’s gaze was cautious, meticulously observing every subtle change in Cheng Che.
Cheng Che bent down and kissed his cheek, “What’s wrong? Why are you staring at me?”
Shen Qingyu shook his head, snuggling into his arms: “I’m a little sleepy.”
“Alright, I’ll carry you to sleep now.”
As dawn broke, he fell into a deep sleep in Cheng Che’s arms.
He woke up again in the afternoon, roused by the rich aroma of food. He stretched in bed, ran barefoot to the kitchen, and leaned against the doorway, peeking at Cheng Che’s back as he cooked.
Cheng Che turned around and met his bright eyes. His gaze slid down, landing on his shoeless feet. He shook his head helplessly, put down the tools in his hand, and without a word, carried Shen Qingyu back to the bed and knelt on the floor to put his shoes on him.
Shen Qingyu was captivated by his series of actions, his heart melting.
“What delicious food did you make? It smells so good,” Shen Qingyu blinked curiously.
Cheng Che said, “I made Sanxian Noodles. It’s not quite ready yet. Go wash up, and you can eat when you come out.”
“Okay! I love Sanxian Noodles.”
Shen Qingyu was truly hungry. He ate a large bowl in one sitting and praised Cheng Che’s cooking. After the meal, Cheng Che didn’t let him do the dishes either. He took care of all the chores himself, giving Shen Qingyu the illusion that they had already entered into married life.
Thinking that they might engage in intimate activities again that night, Shen Qingyu went to take another shower. A sharp ache shot through him when his palm brushed his inner thigh. He bent down to look at the area with difficulty; a small red fingerprint shocked him. He unconsciously rubbed it a few times only to realize it wasn’t paint; it was a mark left by a person.
The red mark had faded slightly, so it didn’t look like the one Cheng Che left yesterday. Then there was only one possibility… was it left by Song Yu after he was drugged that night?!
That seemed normal, too. That night, he was anxious and frantic, immersed in desire. Song Yu would have had to hold him tighter to restrain him. But… but why specifically in such a private place?!
So Cheng Che did see it this morning, right? That’s why his eyes held that particular expression. But why didn’t he ask?
Shen Qingyu was now clear that Cheng Che hadn’t asked, regardless of the reason.
Because even if Cheng Che had asked, he wouldn’t have been able to give a reasonable answer. The deception began at the start, and any further explanation would just be sophistry.
Shen Qingyu pressed his forehead, feeling deflated and powerless once again, even fostering a resentment toward his own indecisive actions.
He began to feel uneasy and lost.
What made him most helpless was that Cheng Che had clearly seen it, yet chose to say nothing, continuing to treat him kindly, his actions still gentle. He even woke up to prepare lunch for him. This was such a wonderful boyfriend, yet Shen Qingyu was deceiving him again and again with lies.
A knock sounded on the bathroom door, followed by Cheng Che’s concerned voice: “Xiao Yu, you’ve been in the bathroom for a long time. Are you okay?”
Shen Qingyu took a deep breath and responded loudly: “I’m fine, I’m coming out now.” He hastily put on his clothes. The moment he opened the door, Cheng Che draped his arm around his shoulder.
“Do you want to try again tonight?” Cheng Che kissed his earlobe, his voice utterly gentle.
Shen Qingyu held his hand and tilted his head back. Having been in the bathroom for a long time, his cheeks were slightly flushed from the steam, and his thin bangs rested obediently on his forehead, giving him a unique charm: “Cheng Che… why don’t we try it.”
He spoke as if he had made a huge decision, which momentarily stunned Cheng Che, “You mean?”
“Mm.” Shen Qingyu shyly averted his gaze, nodding heavily to confirm Cheng Che’s inference was correct.
Instantly, joy overwhelmed him. Cheng Che could no longer control himself. He lifted Shen Qingyu into his arms, gently placing him on the bed. His arms were slightly trembling. Just before entering, he suddenly remembered he hadn’t prepared supplies. He endured the pain of being nearly exploding and took out his phone to place an order, but Shen Qingyu’s trembling arm stopped him.
Shen Qingyu’s small face was crumpled, his lips rosy, his ears and neck flushed. He panted slightly, looking exhausted: “Don’t buy anything, let’s just do it.”
Cheng Che’s Adam’s apple bobbed. He solemnly kissed Shen Qingyu’s forehead and quietly said, “Mm.”
During this strange yet extreme experience, Shen Qingyu had an odd dream.
He dreamed that the person in front of him was Cheng Che, but moments later, he was roughly pushed aside by Lu Xiao, who took his place, bringing Shen Qingyu a completely opposite feeling. Lu Xiao paid little attention to technique, relying purely on animalistic instinct and brute force, making Shen Qingyu cry out in pain. Perhaps realizing he couldn’t take it, Song Yu suddenly appeared. He was skilled at tormenting people, bringing Shen Qingyu to the brink of climax several times, making him feel like he was stepping on soft cotton, just about to fall, yet he maliciously controlled the strength and timing. The more Shen Qingyu cried out, the more Song Yu would deny him release. After several rounds, Shen Qingyu was utterly exhausted, left to their mercy.
He murmured Cheng Che’s name on his lips. Sure enough, the next second Cheng Che appeared. His gentleness and patience made Shen Qingyu feel what true happiness was, but before he could fully immerse himself, he saw two pairs of eyes watching intently behind Cheng Che.
Shen Qingyu suddenly woke up, a painful low cry escaping him due to the soreness and pain in his lower back. Cheng Che quickly hugged his waist and massaged him, softly coaxing: “I’m sorry, Xiao Yu. You suffered.”
Shen Qingyu could feel that the area was swollen, but he just shook his head, resting his head against Cheng Che’s chest, feeling his steady heartbeat.
He didn’t dare tell Cheng Che what he had dreamed. The dream was simply too absurd, yet frighteningly real, as if it had truly happened in some parallel universe.
…
Shen Qingyu stayed home, resting his aching back for a long time before finally recovering his energy.
Song Yu messaged him the next day, inviting him to eat together.
Shen Qingyu glanced at Cheng Che’s busy back and quietly replied on his phone: 【My boyfriend is back, so I won’t be going out to eat.】
His intention was to explain the reason for the refusal, but looking at the message after sending it, didn’t it sound like he was trying to cover up something?
Would Song Yu misunderstand and think that if Cheng Che wasn’t around, he would agree?
Shen Qingyu shook his head, unwilling to dwell on these thoughts. He was greatly bothered by that absurd and strange dream. Every time he recalled it, his face would flush, and he even felt very guilty toward Cheng Che.
【Song Yu: Oh, Cheng Che is back, so you don’t need me anymore. I understand.】
【Song Yu: Then when he’s gone next time, remember to contact me. I’m available anytime.】
Song Yu’s passive-aggressive move made Shen Qingyu even more depressed. He even suspected whether the mark in the intimate spot was intentionally left by Song Yu. But he didn’t dare ask directly; after all, Song Yu had rescued and helped him that day, and it felt wrong to turn around and suspect him. So, he could only keep these thoughts to himself, without anyone to confide in.
Even after their most intimate act with Cheng Che, he still felt there was a barrier between them. He knew the reason clearly: it was all because of his deception and cowardice. Every time he was caught in this four-person chaos, he became indecisive.
Lu Xiao’s call popped up at an inopportune moment. Cheng Che glanced at it, his expression somewhat displeased. Shen Qingyu sighed, quickly hung up the phone, then pursed his lips and sent him a message right in front of Cheng Che: 【What’s up?】
Seeing him act so openly, Cheng Che felt awkward prying further and stood up, pretending to pour water.
【Lu Xiao: Is Cheng Che gone yet?】
【Shen Qingyu: No.】
【Lu Xiao: You’ve let him stay at your place for so long, are you two living together now?】
【Shen Qingyu: …Just say what you need to say.】
【Lu Xiao: Transfer: $5,200 (5200 yuan)】
【Lu Xiao: I want to eat your cooking, this is my sincerity】
【Shen Qingyu: …】
【Lu Xiao: If you think it’s not enough, I can add another $1,314 (1314 yuan) and $999 (999 yuan)】
Shen Qingyu was utterly dumbfounded. This was truly something Lu Xiao would do.
When Cheng Che returned, he saw Shen Qingyu’s complicated expression and vaguely guessed that Lu Xiao had said or done something again.
“What’s wrong, Xiao Yu? Why the sour face?” he asked gently.
“Nothing,” Shen Qingyu subconsciously turned off his phone, unaware of how suspicious this action looked. “Let’s eat out tonight. I’m craving spicy hot pot.”
Cheng Che forcibly suppressed the emotion in his heart, smiling as he said, “You can’t eat anything spicy right now. I’ll make you something light again. I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable.”
“Alright,” Shen Qingyu lowered his head, feeling dejected. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a message from Lu Xiao: 【I want to come find you】
His internal alarm bells went off wildly. While casually answering Cheng Che, he pretended to be nonchalant and quickly sent a message to Lu Xiao. He didn’t even correct the typo before hitting send:
【Shen Qingyu: You are not allowed to come over, do you hear me? Cheng Che is still here】
