After the Beautiful Omega Was Targeted by His Straight Roommate - Chapter 22
Qi Yuxiao’s body suddenly tilted to the side, and half of his weight pressed down onto Tao Ran.
“Whoa!” Tao Ran was nearly crushed. He struggled to support Qi Yuxiao, his face wrinkling from the effort. “How did you get so drunk?”
Qi Yuxiao glanced at his roommate, who was about to be toppled by his frame. His mind cleared for a moment, and he tried his best to stand up straight.
“I drank a little.”
Tao Ran felt the weight lighten slightly. He draped Qi Yuxiao’s arm over his own shoulder and stared earnestly at the man’s lowered profile. “From the look of it, it was definitely more than a little.”
“…”
Tao Ran said: “Let me help you over to the chair first.”
The massive weight leaning against him remained silent.
Tao Ran struggled to move the Qi Yuxiao, who seemed to have very little consciousness left, and finally managed to settle him into the chair.
Qi Yuxiao’s clothes had become messy from the movement. He leaned back against the gaming chair, his chest rising and falling. A look of pain crossed his face, and he reached up to pinch the bridge of his nose.
Tao Ran had been observing him from the side. Seeing this, he immediately asked with concern: “Does your head hurt?”
“How about I massage your head for you?”
He had experience taking care of drunks, and quite a lot of it. Dr. Chi was a king of the nightclubs; when they lived together, Dr. Chi would return home every weekend in the early hours of the morning smelling of alcohol. As soon as he hit the sofa, he would start complaining about a headache.
Tao Ran had learned to massage him, and as he did it more often, his technique became increasingly skilled and precise.
“…”
Qi Yuxiao closed his eyes. His thick eyelashes rested quietly, and he remained motionless, as still as if he were asleep.
However, his brow remained furrowed, and that cold, distant aura that kept people at a distance refused to fade.
Still, it was much weaker than when he was sober. Tao Ran grew bold enough to study Qi Yuxiao’s face.
The young man had a high bridge to his nose and thin lips pressed tightly together. His three-dimensional features and sharp facial lines made his face look like a rich, vivid oil painting.
Tao Ran’s gaze traveled downward to the Adam’s apple, where he clearly saw it bob up and down.
Tao Ran stood between Qi Yuxiao’s legs, momentarily dazed.
As if possessed, he leaned down slightly and slid his hands into the other man’s hair. His thumbs, slightly damp with sweat, pressed against the temples, rubbing and pressing with very light pressure.
Qi Yuxiao kept his eyes closed, letting the alcohol run wild through his body and gradually erode his brain.
Then, a pair of soft, moist hands gently cradled his head. It felt as if someone was drawing close to him, and a familiar fragrance filled his nostrils.
The light, herbal scent was soft and gentle, like a fine spring breeze. It carried a touch of natural divinity, soothing the restless creatures of the world and granting a quiet sleep.
Qi Yuxiao’s tense body gradually began to relax.
Tao Ran massaged Qi Yuxiao for over ten minutes. His hands were getting tired, and he felt it was probably enough, so he slowly let go.
He took half a step back, only to find with a start that Qi Yuxiao had woken up at some point.
The young man’s dark eyes were partially obscured by his messy hair. His pupils were clouded with an indecipherable mist as he stared at Tao Ran, motionless and profound.
It was not the first time Tao Ran had seen this look in Qi Yuxiao’s eyes, but being stared at like that still gave him a fright.
He first asked cautiously: “What is wrong? Are you uncomfortable? Why… are you looking at me like that?”
The other man did not speak, his gaze remaining unchanged.
Tao Ran finally felt like a piece of prey locked in by a starving beast. The hair on his arms stood up in immediate alert.
This was no place to linger.
He instinctively tried to step back and leave.
But before he could move his legs, the other man anticipated the motion. Qi Yuxiao quickly pulled his legs in, trapping Tao Ran in place so he could not move.
Tao Ran froze, his face showing total confusion. “Qi Yuxiao…”
Traces of drunkenness still lingered on Qi Yuxiao’s face. He blinked slowly. In his blurred vision, he only saw a familiar yellow shape swaying in front of him, as if trying to escape.
“Why are you running?”
His voice sounded somewhat dissatisfied.
As soon as he finished speaking, his upper body leaned forward. He reflexively hooked his arm around Tao Ran’s thin waist and pulled the boy toward him.
The distance between them closed abruptly.
By the time Tao Ran snapped back to his senses, he felt his stomach dip slightly.
Qi Yuxiao’s face had naturally pressed against his soft abdomen. He nuzzled it several times with great dependence, burying his high nose into the folds of the pajamas to sniff carefully.
Tao Ran’s back went rigid.
This movement felt as if it had happened a thousand times; otherwise, he could find no reason for Qi Yuxiao to do it so skillfully.
Then, he heard Qi Yuxiao say somewhat slurringly:
“SpongeBob SquarePants is so much more fragrant than usual tonight.”
