- After Snagging a Stuffy Giant-Wealthy Daddy
- Chapter 11 - Age Gap. Daddy is a Mature Man in His Prime!
The teenager’s soaked body pressed against him, bringing a chill, while his soft hair brushed against the man’s jaw like a fluffy little animal. It was merely a drowned-rat version.
Shao Tingyue had a mild case of mysophobia and instinctively resisted this strange, subtle tactile sensation. However, his hand, which was hanging at his side, moved slightly and ultimately did not push the boy away. He could feel the fragrance on Li Chu becoming more intense, as if it were seeping out from his very skin.
Not far away, the sounds of play and laughter from the poolside could be heard vaguely.
Shao Tingyue lifted his eyes and happened to catch the gaze James was casting in their direction. As soon as the other man made contact with his cold, placid eyes, he hurriedly looked away as if scalded. A flicker of unnatural fear flashed across his face.
Li Chu felt as though his head were very heavy. After leaning against a firm object that had a bit of elasticity, he felt much more comfortable. Moreover, there was something beating thump-thump underneath him.
“So noisy. Be quiet.”
He reached out and pressed his palm against Shao Tingyue’s chest. The heartbeat remained relentless, even speeding up.
Li Chu tilted his head and looked up at the man blankly, feeling inexplicably that the man’s complexion did not look very good. However, he could not pay much attention to that. He leaned his head back and let out a soft, drunken hiccup.
“…”
A wicked fire rose from the bottom of Shao Tingyue’s heart, but he had no way to vent it. He could only half-carry the boy away.
The Rolls-Royce was already waiting at the hotel’s private entrance. Shao Tingyue shoved Li Chu into the backseat, sat in himself, and ordered in a low voice, “Return to the mansion.”
The air conditioning in the car was turned up a bit, quickly dispelling the chill on Li Chu’s body. He slumped on the spacious backseat, moving uncomfortably because his posture was not right. The wet clothes made him feel very uneasy, and he could not help but reach out to pull at his collar and clothing.
“Do not move around.”
Li Chu was startled by his displeased tone. His expression was aggrieved and ignorant, and his hands stayed still for a few seconds.
Before long, he began to squirm restlessly again. This time, it was not just tugging at his clothes. His hands were fumbling randomly on the seat, and his legs were kicking unconsciously.
“Li Chu!”
Shao Tingyue frowned and caught the boy’s flailing hands with a large palm. “What kind of drunken madness are you throwing? I told you early on to do less reckless things with Mingzhu. Did you ever listen to my words? If there is a next time, I will throw you out.”
Li Chu pouted, his expression appearing somewhat sorrowful.
His parents had passed away early, and he had grown up moving between relatives. The words he heard most often were that they would throw him out and tell him to get as far away as possible. Therefore, Li Chu feared holidays the most, because he had nowhere to go. He was a burden that everyone was eager to discard.
Shao Tingyue thought his words had been too harsh. His brow furrowed slightly, but ultimately, he did not continue to lecture the boy.
Forget it. Just treat it as a child being ignorant.
Li Chu had just turned eighteen and was exactly twelve years younger than him. Was he not just a child?
Li Chu had quieted down after being scolded, but after a short while, he started moving wildly again. Having failed to suppress him several times, Shao Tingyue’s patience finally ran out. He deftly caught Li Chu’s wrists together and used one hand to undo his own necktie.
“What are you doing?” Li Chu protested in a daze, attempting to struggle.
Shao Tingyue ignored his protest, his face dark as he wound the tie around the boy’s wrists, circle by circle. Even though it was made of silk, red marks appeared with the slightest force. He stared at them for a few seconds, then heartlessly tied a knot.
The driver did not dare to drive too fast, fearing that a sudden bump might make the young master vomit and displease the boss. This unique Rolls-Royce Silver Spur on Hong Kong Island was unusually prestigious. He had elderly parents and younger siblings to support, so he could not lose this job.
Li Chu’s drunkenness had completely taken hold. Bound by his wrists and curled up on the seat, he looked quite pitiful.
Shao Tingyue looked at him in such discomfort, and that wicked fire in his heart grew more intense, crashing around in his chest. He wished he could call Shao Qixin immediately and tell him to pack up Shao Mingzhu and send her back to the UK.
Li Chu began to ramble. At first, there were only a few fuzzy syllables, but they gradually became clear, carrying a heavy nasal tone. “Mom. Dad. I miss you so much.”
Shao Tingyue lowered his eyes, his gaze landing on the teenager’s slightly parted lips. His thoughts drifted back to over a month ago.
When the car passed through the noisy night market in Yau Ma Tei, he had glanced out the window while stopped at a red light. On the crowded street, an old tram passed by. The teenager was wearing clothes washed until they were pale, leaning against the tram window with his head tilted, staring at the skyscrapers reaching into the clouds in the distance. His side profile looked exceptionally clean under the streetlights, yet carried a sense of out-of-place bewilderment.
The green light turned on, the car started, and the boy’s figure was quickly left behind.
However, at the next corner, they met again. The teenager had gotten off the tram and nimbly slipped into a bar. Upon meeting again, the boy had been wearing an exaggerated golden wig, a tight JK sailor skirt, and was carrying a tray, trying hard to imitate the allure of a mixed-race girl.
Shao Tingyue pulled his thoughts back, his breathing deepening. Li Chu’s murmurs had not stopped.
“Uncle. I beg you. Do not turn me in.”
“Do not hit me. I did not break the plate on purpose. I will pay for it.”
“Go home. I want to go home.”
The light and shadows from outside the car window flickered across Shao Tingyue’s face from time to time. He reached out and touched Li Chu’s childish cheek. The texture was softer than he had imagined. It was wet and warm, similar to a freshly baked soufflé from a western restaurant.
Shao Tingyue lowered his eyes and finally comforted him, “Be a good boy. We are going home now.”
The car drove up to Victoria Peak. The brightly lit Shao Mansion sparkled in the night. Li Chu remained immersed in his chaotic dream, occasionally letting out a vague whimper.
When they returned to the Shao Mansion, it was already deep in the night. Shao Tingyue did not disturb too many people, only having the night-duty servants prepare hangover soup and clean clothes. He personally carried the groggy Li Chu back to his own bedroom.
He was as light as a kitten. His back, hands, and feet were all very slender, only his hips. Shao Tingyue weighed him slightly with the palm supporting him. He did indeed have some meat on him.
When Auntie Mei saw the uncle and nephew return in this state, especially Li Chu being carried like an unconscious person, his wrists tied, she was so frightened she thought something had happened.
The servants deftly helped Li Chu change out of his damp clothes, wiped his body with a hot towel, put on comfortable loungewear, and fed him a few spoonfuls of hangover soup. Throughout the process, Li Chu was dazed but very cooperative, only occasionally grabbing the servant’s hand and vaguely calling for his “Mom,” which could not help but stir pity in the elderly servant.
Shao Tingyue returned to his study and switched on the desk lamp. The cigar box was right at hand, but he did not move it. On the table were a few documents sent over by Liang Wei, regarding the details of the maiden voyage of the new ship and several land project proposals.
Shao Tingyue casually flipped through a few pages, leaned back into the large leather chair, and raised his hand to rub his brow.
He did not sleep well that night.
At first, the dream contained normal scenes, but gradually, the scenario began to distort and switch.
He was back in that mesmerizing bar. This time, there was only him and a teenager with a graceful figure in the booth.
He was still wearing his soaked shirt, which became even thinner in the dream, sticking to his skin like a translucent film, outlining a waist that could be held in one hand. Like a siren in Greek mythology, he carried a raw desire within his innocence.
The teenager approached silently. Water dripped from his wet hair, landing one drop at a time on the back of Shao Tingyue’s hand. It was cold, yet it seemed to carry an electric current.
The air was filled with the fragrance of alcohol and that clean, sweet scent on the boy’s body. He did not speak, only looked at him with those warm, moist eyes, and then his soft lips gently touched the corner of Shao Tingyue’s mouth.
Hum.
A strange and scorching throb instantly swept through Shao Tingyue’s entire body. He reached out and clutched that delicate waist, pulling the person fiercely into his arms. The tactile sensation of the warm, soft skin was extremely real, and the entanglement of lips and teeth was deep.
The teenager’s suppressed, fragmented whimpers rose up, like a little kitten’s claws scratching at his heart. The waist under his palm was slender enough to be held in one hand, yet it trembled slightly in his grip, as if it could be easily broken.
The dream became increasingly chaotic, weaving together fragments of reality and fantasy. The shimmering water of the pool, the dim lighting in the car, and now, in the dream, this soft body pressed tightly against him, exuding a fatal allure.
“Second Uncle.”
Li Chu’s voice exploded in his ear like a thunderclap.
Shao Tingyue sat up from the bed with a start. In the darkness, his breathing was rapid, and fine beads of sweat seeped from his forehead. His heart pounded wildly in his chest, and a parched, hot sensation coursed through his limbs, finally converging on a certain place.
Shao Tingyue looked down, his expression turning extraordinarily ugly.
