- Chapter 1 - The Car Is Yours
Character Dynamic: [Gentle and Alluring Doctor (Top) vs. Cold and Arrogant CEO (Bottom)]
Friendly Reminder: The CEO is the bottom and the doctor is the top. Please do not mix them up.
At the Jingjiang Grand Court Hotel, elites from every industry gathered as a business gala took place.
Lu Shian shook off the woman clinging to him and left through the hotel’s fire exit. Standing at the door waiting for the elevator, he gasped slightly. He tugged at his tie and dialed his driver, Xiao Xu.
“Get to the underground garage,” Lu Shian said. His voice was low and raspy, clearly strained by an unusual surge of emotion.
“Understood, President Lu. I just finished the maintenance on your red striped Bugatti supercar, so I will drive it over to pick you up immediately.”
Lu Shian leaned against the wall and hung up. He pinched the bridge of his nose while his lips parted to let out a muffled, suppressed groan. With a ding, the elevator doors opened. He stepped inside and quickly pressed the button for the first basement level.
In the underground garage of the Grand Court Hotel, a red striped Bugatti was parked near the elevator entrance. It stood out among the sea of luxury vehicles.
Meng Yu sat in the driver’s seat scrolling through Weibo with his right hand while his left hand tapped idly on the steering wheel. Suddenly, a call from Ms. Lin popped up, and Meng Yu answered quickly.
“Dr. Meng, have you arrived?” a woman’s voice asked over the phone, accompanied by the background noise of music and conversation.
Meng Yu’s voice was warm and gentle. “I have been here for five minutes. Are you coming down?”
“I am so sorry. I ran into an old friend and I might be delayed for another half hour. If you are bored waiting in the car, feel free to come up.”
Meng Yu chuckled. “I am just a doctor. What common ground would I have with you business elites? I will wait for you in the car.”
Lin Xiyuan had expected this and did not push him. “Alright then. I will have to trouble our public servant, Dr. Meng.”
Just as he was about to hang up, Meng Yu remembered something. “My car is in the shop, so I drove Meng Wan’s car. Do not look for the wrong one when you come down.”
“She just picked up that sports car last month. It is quite flashy. How is it? Do you like it? I could buy one for you too.”
Meng Yu smiled again. “Not really. It is too flamboyant.”
Lin Xiyuan laughed. “Fine. Hanging up now.”
“Yeah, do not drink too much.” Meng Yu hung up. Thirty minutes was a long time, so he figured he would play a game to pass the time.
He had just opened his game when the passenger door was suddenly pulled open. Before he could turn his head, a wave of alcohol mixed with tobacco and a faint, unknown scent rushed into his nose.
Meng Yu frowned instinctively. As he turned, he saw a man in a formal suit sitting directly in the passenger seat.
“Drive home. Get Dr. Song over here,” Lu Shian said as he shed his suit jacket. He irritably ripped off his tie and unbuttoned the top of his shirt.
Hearing this urgent yet alluring voice, Meng Yu’s eyebrows twitched. The voice felt familiar. He instinctively turned on the interior light and leaned closer.
“Can you not hear me? Drive!” Lu Shian furrowed his brows and pressed his hand against his chest, looking restless and agitated.
When he finally turned his head, he collided with Meng Yu’s scrutinizing gaze.
Meng Yu froze for a moment when he saw the man’s face. Lu Shian, seeing Meng Yu’s handsome features, knit his brows even tighter.
“You are not Xiao Xu,” Lu Shian panted. His alcohol clouded mind struggled to find a spark of clarity. His driver definitely was not this handsome.
“You do not remember me?” Meng Yu asked after a long pause.
“You look familiar,” Lu Shian replied. He reached out and grabbed the collar of Meng Yu’s T shirt, leaning in to inspect the man’s face.
His long lashes trembled and his eyes were hazy. Lu Shian felt an unbearable heat rising within him. The face before him began to overlap with a figure buried deep in his memories.
“Lu Shian, do you remember now?” Meng Yu let him stare, his own gaze darkening with a sudden, burning intensity.
“Are you Meng Yu?” Lu Shian asked, his voice growing more confused as he spoke.
“Yes,” Meng Yu answered softly. He then asked, “Did you take something?”
Or rather, had he been drugged? Lu Shian’s current state was anything but normal.
“Are you really Meng Yu?” Lu Shian did not answer the question. Instead, he stared at Meng Yu with obsessive persistence.
Meng Yu repeated, “I am.”
“Then sleep with me.” As soon as the words left his mouth, Lu Shian leaned in and pressed his lips against Meng Yu’s.
The sudden kiss caught Meng Yu off guard. The scent of alcohol on Lu Shian’s breath made his head spin. Before he could recover, Lu Shian pulled back slightly.
“Sleep with me, and this car is yours.”
The car is mine?
A laugh escaped Meng Yu’s lips. Lu Shian must have had some bad liquor to be this drunk. Giving away an eight figure car just like that, President Lu was certainly generous.
Lu Shian’s logic was entirely consumed by the fever until Meng Yu pushed him back into the passenger seat and buckled his seatbelt.
“Stay still and do not move,” Meng Yu said. He then sped out of the underground garage.
It was raining outside. Meng Yu originally intended to find a hotel, but Lu Shian could not stay still for even five minutes and kept leaning toward him. While waiting at a red light, Meng Yu tried to make a call, but Lu Shian was making it difficult. When the light turned green, he could not move in time, triggering a long string of honks from the cars behind him.
In frustration, he pulled over near an adult novelty store. He calmed Lu Shian down and jumped out of the car. Two minutes later, he returned with protection in hand.
He was soaked from the rain. Just as he closed the door and reclined the seat to dry his hair, Lu Shian pressed against him, radiating heat.
Fortunately, the lighting here was dim and the window tint was thick enough to block any view from the outside. Combined with the rain and the empty street, it was a lucky break. Otherwise, the news of Fangsheng Group Chairman Lu Shian having a rendezvous in a car would have topped the headlines tomorrow.
Fifteen minutes later, Meng Yu’s phone, which he had tossed aside, began to ring.
At that moment, Meng Yu’s world consisted only of Lu Shian. He could not hear any outside noise and let the ringing serve as background music to their intensity.
It was not until the phone rang for the fourth time with persistent determination that Meng Yu, drowned in tenderness, finally remembered Ms. Lin, the person he was actually supposed to pick up.
