After My Nemesis Discovered My Cross-dressing - Chapter 6
The following day was Monday. When Gu Qian entered the office, it was exactly eight o’clock in the morning. After the high-level executive meeting concluded, he returned to the CEO’s office to continue with several online conferences. By the time he finished, it was already eleven o’clock in the morning.
“President Gu,” Assistant Liang knocked on the door. “Mr. Meng is waiting outside. He is clamoring to see you.”
Gu Qian took off his glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose. “I will not see him.”
Just as he spoke, Meng Siyao’s voice drifted in from outside the door: “Brother Qian, I am coming in!”
Assistant Liang turned around quickly to try and stop him, but the person outside was a step ahead, forcing his way into the office. The assistant looked at Gu Qian’s expression, and cold sweat began to form on his forehead. Fortunately, Gu Qian raised a hand slightly, signaling for him to leave. Assistant Liang immediately acknowledged the command, exited the office, and closed the door.
“Brother Qian, long time no see.” Meng Siyao sat on the sofa without any hesitation, asking in a casual tone, “Did you miss me?”
Although they worked at the same company, Meng Siyao’s current rank was far too low. He usually had no chance to see the CEO, and they never crossed paths after work hours.
Gu Qian looked up at him. “What did I tell you?”
“I remember. I am supposed to call you President Gu at the office,” Meng Siyao said with a grin. “But there are only the two of us here right now. Do not be so serious, Brother Qian.”
He was tall with handsome features, but he lacked any sense of proper posture, looking every bit the playboy. Gu Qian did not waste words and asked directly, “Tell me, what do you want?”
Meng Siyao replied, “Actually, it is nothing much. I just wanted to report the progress of the project I am handling.”
“You do not need to bypass your superiors to report to me,” Gu Qian said flatly. “I only care about the results.”
Meng Siyao shifted his position. “Then can I not come to catch up with you personally?”
Gu Qian tapped the tabletop with his finger. “I will give you one more chance. Tell the truth.”
“Brother Qian, you really do know me best.” Meng Siyao stood up and walked toward the desk. “I am a bit short on cash lately because I want to buy something. Can you lend me some money first?”
Gu Qian countered, “What do you want to buy?”
“Do not worry about that. Just lend it to me for now,” Meng Siyao scratched the back of his head. “Also, do not tell the old man about this, okay?”
Gu Qian was sparse with his words: “No.”
“I am not asking for much, only twenty thousand yuan.” Meng Siyao grew anxious, and his voice became louder. “Gu Qian, surely you are not that stingy!”
Gu Qian leaned back into his chair. “I can lend it to you, but you must write a promissory note and return it by next month.”
Meng Siyao’s eyes widened. “Where would I get the money to pay you back?”
Gu Qian reminded him, “Do a good job on your project. You will receive your commission next month.”
“You,” Meng Siyao was at a loss for words. After a long pause, he managed to squeeze out, “Gu Qian, you are ruthless.”
Gu Qian tilted his chin up slightly. “If you do not want to borrow it, then leave.”
In the end, Meng Siyao honestly lay on the coffee table to write the promissory note. He muttered to himself as he wrote, occasionally casting a resentful glance at the CEO. Once the note was received, Gu Qian transferred twenty thousand yuan to his account as promised.
Before leaving, Meng Siyao suddenly remembered something. “By the way, Brother Qian, have you seen the old man lately?”
Gu Qian lowered his gaze. “No.”
“I have not seen him in a while either. I wonder what he has been busy with lately.” Meng Siyao shook his head. “Never mind. It is a blessing as long as he is not picking a fight with me.”
Once he left, the office returned to silence. Gu Qian opened his desk drawer, took out a silver box, and tipped out a piece of candy. A moment later, he pressed the internal intercom.
Assistant Liang entered quickly. “President Gu.”
“Do not let Meng Siyao up here again,” Gu Qian instructed calmly.
“Yes, President Gu. I understand.”
At ten o’clock that night, Gu Qian finished his work and returned home alone. After stepping out of the shower, he dried his hair and walked to the table, unconsciously picking up his secondary phone to check for messages. To his surprise, there were no unread messages on his secondary WeChat account tonight.
Gu Qian stared at the screen in silence for a moment before putting the phone back down. He lay flat on the bed but felt no drowsiness. After a while, he got up and walked into the walk-in closet.
While picking out a dress, he reached for a pink floral sundress as if possessed. He had felt this dress was too short and had only tried it on once after buying it. After all, he could not openly go to a women’s clothing store to try things on. Online purchases often differed greatly from the advertisements, and since he was tall, the dress appeared even shorter on him.
After changing, Gu Qian returned to the bedroom just as he heard a vibration. It was as if the timing had been precisely calculated. He picked up the secondary phone and entered WeChat.
Y: “I had some business entertainment tonight. I just got home.”
Before Gu Qian could reply, another message arrived.
Y: “Are you asleep, Qiqi?”
77: “I am not asleep yet.”
Y: “Wait, an instant reply?” Y: “I am a bit pleasantly surprised.”
77: “…”
Y: “Could it be that Qiqi was waiting for my message?”
77: “Wishful thinking.”
Y: “Fine, my heart is broken.” Y: “[Heartbroken.jpg]”
An undetectable smile touched Gu Qian’s lips as he sat on the edge of the bed.
77: “Did you drink?”
Y: “I did, but not too much.” Y: “My alcohol tolerance should be better than yours.”
77: “You are too confident.”
Y: “In certain aspects, I am indeed quite confident.”
Gu Qian pursed his lips, feeling unconvinced, though he knew the other man likely did have a higher tolerance.
Y: “I smell like alcohol. I am going to take a shower first.” Y: “If you are tired, go to sleep first, okay?”
77: “Go ahead. I will sleep if I get tired.”
Gu Qian exited WeChat and began browsing the latest news. After a while, drowsiness crept in. He turned off his phone and closed his eyes to drift off. Just as his consciousness was fading, the phone near his ear vibrated again.
Gu Qian opened his eyes halfway and reached for the phone.
Y: “I am finished showering.” Y: “Are you asleep?”
Gu Qian woke up fully and sat back up.
77: “Not yet.”
Y: “What are you doing?”
77: “Getting ready for bed.”
Y: “Are you wearing a pretty dress tonight?”
77: “Yes.”
Y: “Can you take a photo for me to see?”
77: “No.”
Y: “You could yesterday. Why not today?”
Gu Qian looked down at the dress he was wearing and typed back slowly.
77: “It depends on my mood.”
Y: “What is wrong? Are you in a bad mood today?”
Gu Qian’s brow twitched. After hesitating for a few seconds, he opened the camera, adjusted his posture, and took a photo from the waist down.
When Qin Yue clicked on the photo, he instinctively narrowed his eyes. In the photo, the person was wearing a small pink floral dress, revealing two long, straight legs. Because of the kneeling posture, the snow-white flesh of the thighs was pressed together, appearing slightly plump like soft clouds. One could feel through the screen that they would be wonderful to the touch.
Perhaps fearing a wardrobe malfunction, a slender, jade-like hand pressed down on the edge of the floral skirt. The long fingers were spread out, perfectly revealing that small red mole. Although it was not an explicit photo, the image was enough to make one’s blood boil.
Qin Yue’s Adam’s apple bobbed. Before his brain could react, his finger had already tapped to save the photo. He never knew that he was not only a hand person but could also be deeply attracted by legs.
On the other end, Gu Qian frowned when he did not receive a reply for a long time. He enlarged the photo he had just taken, but no matter how much he looked, he could not find anything amiss. Fortunately, a message arrived soon after.
Y: “Very beautiful.” Y: “I want to see what the whole dress looks like.”
Gu Qian felt that the man did not actually want to see the dress; he just wanted another photo of him wearing it.
77: “I do not want to take any more.”
Y: “But I really want to see.”
About two minutes later, Qin Yue received a new photo. Under the floral sundress, large areas of fair skin were exposed. The pink floral pattern made his skin look even more like cream. This body was not weak; it clearly belonged to an adult male, yet wearing a dress did not feel out of place at all. Instead, it was indescribably pleasing to the eye. Like his hands, the body possessed both beauty and power.
Y: “You are so suited for wearing dresses.” Y: “I want to buy all the most beautiful dresses in the world and give them to you.”
After reading those lines, Gu Qian’s ears felt strangely hot. This cross-dressing hobby was his most private secret. He had hidden it deeply for years, and he never dared to let anyone know. This was the first time he had boldly sent photos of himself in women’s clothing to someone else, and it was the first time he had received so much praise.
Y: “I mean every word.”
77: “Yes, I know.” 77: “Thank you.”
Y: “You are very well-behaved today.”
Gu Qian: “?”
Before he could type a retort, another message arrived.
Y: “Courtesy demands reciprocity. I will also send you a photo.”
Gu Qian was slightly stunned. For some reason, a hint of nervousness rose in his heart. As a CEO accustomed to being ruthless in the business world, he had not felt this kind of nervousness in a long time. It felt almost foreign. While he was dazed, a photo popped up on the screen.
Gu Qian clicked it instinctively. The moment he saw the photo clearly, his pupils constricted.
In the photo, a man had rolled his shirt up to his chest with one hand, revealing firm, full eight-pack abs that were clearly defined like a finely carved piece of art. He had just finished showering, and droplets of water still rolled within the grooves of the muscles. The muscles tensed and pulsed with his breathing, and as the droplets rolled down across the sharp V-line, they disappeared into the shadows below, dampening the edge of his gray trousers.
Gu Qian stared at the photo uncontrollably for several seconds. He let out a soft “Tsk” and exited the full-screen view.
77: “Who told you to send this?”
Y: “Would you believe me if I said I sent the wrong image?”
77: “No.”
Y: “I would not believe it either.”
Gu Qian: “…”
The image in the chat interface had not been pushed up yet. His eyes touched the thumbnail of the abs before he looked away.
Y: “Actually, it did not have any other meaning.”
77: “You just simply wanted to show off your abs?”
Y: “I simply wanted to seduce you.”
