- Chapter 76 - Your Majesty, I’m Still So Thirsty
Jin Yunhan’s throat bobbed hard, the byt packet scorching between her restless fingers.
She was yanked beneath the canopy as if ensnared by a spell. The Queen’s slender whip pressed against her knee where it rested on the bed, poised to strike at any moment.
No retreat, no escape.
Because the Queen’s fingertips had already slid along the taut line of her belt, tracing slow, suggestive circles at the edge. Jin Yunhan shivered, the gland at the nape of her neck throbbing violently.
Danger gleamed in Lin Ruxi’s emerald eyes, her lips curving with a smile that chilled and bewitched at once. “Didn’t Little Jin always know how to best serve her Queen? Then stay with me tonight.”
“Your Majesty, you’re still with child…” Her voice caught as she swallowed hard.
“So what you’ve brought me—is it really meant for the little Alpha instead? How thoughtful of you, Little Jin.” Lin Ruxi’s tone was rich with hidden meaning.
With a sharp snap, Jin Yunhan’s belt slipped free. In the Queen’s deft hand, it twisted into a leash, fastened snugly around her throat.
She froze, breath stifled, dragged down until her head dipped beneath the Queen’s skirts.
A push at her chest, and the Alpha toppled back. Lin Ruxi looked down at her, lips tilted in amusement, as though toying with prey—watching Yunhan’s panic with leisurely delight.
Jin Yunhan scrambled for balance, her hand brushing against Lin Ruxi’s gently rounded belly. The warmth beneath her palm jolted her heart like lightning.
That was their child. Hers and the Queen’s.
“Your Majesty…” Her voice trembled with caution, yet her eyes shone bright. “Please take care of your body. During this time… don’t let anyone else—”
She bit down on her lip, tasting a faint, sour bitterness. To beg the Queen for fidelity during pregnancy—what right did she truly have?
“So?” Lin Ruxi’s teeth nipped her lower lip, worrying the flesh with lazy intent. “Are you worried I’ll hurt the child… or that I’ll force you to serve me?”
Her fingers slipped open the buttons of Yunhan’s shirt. When her gaze landed on the faint scar across Yunhan’s chest—the one left when she was sixteen—along with the image etched into her own pendant, the Queen stilled.
Memories blurred and flooded back: the sweltering afternoon sun, a young girl saluting with downcast eyes, too shy to meet her gaze… the glimpse of delicate skin marred by a fresh wound at her collarbone, the mingled scent of soda and warm breath—
“So it was you… that child.”
Her fingertips traced the scar, lips brushing softly over it. Yunhan’s lashes fluttered, trembling harder with every touch.
Adorable.
For the first time, Lin Ruxi found an Alpha… adorable. The feeling bubbled like soda fizz rising in her chest—rare, unfamiliar.
Unfamiliar enough that she was willing to indulge in a game she once would have scorned as “childish.”
“So, little one… what’s your name?”
The name she had never asked that day—the unfinished part of a ceremony otherwise perfect.
Though she already knew, Lin Ruxi still asked solemnly, giving time a chance to circle back, to rewrite itself. If she had received an answer then… would everything between them have been different?
“My Queen… my name is Jin Yunhan.”
Her voice was so soft, as if afraid to startle a butterfly resting on her heart.
The memory reeled her back to that banquet. Beneath the crystal chandeliers, the Queen stumbled on ten-centimeter heels. By instinct, Yunhan had caught her slender waist, steadying her.
The breath of violets mingled with warmth against her ear. But before she could speak her name aloud, the Queen’s elegant hand had pushed her away, nearly sending her stumbling back.
Watching Lin Ruxi walk toward Jin Yunxi’s waiting figure, Yunhan felt, for the first time, a jealousy that cut deeper than envy—the sour ache of a shadow forever chasing light, fated always to be beneath it.
Her sister had everything, radiant as the sun.
And she… was only the shadow. Even the Queen had stepped over her to walk into the light.
But now—now the Queen’s body pressed close against hers, their embrace seamless, dovetailing like joint and socket. At last, the hollowed-out wound in her heart’s shadow was filled, breathing, mended.
She liked holding the Queen like this. It felt as though… she was holding a beam of light.
The warmth of the woman in her arms dispelled all gloom.
Lin Ruxi’s fingertips wandered over her collarbone, stirring shivers along the old scar.
“My Queen, I want to provide you my pheromones,” Yunhan whispered against her ear, confessing with unguarded honesty.
She lifted her face, eyes shimmering. “Not just because you’re pregnant. Instinctively… I want to give them to you. I want you to feel better.”
In the closed canopy, her pheromones burst forth, heat flooding from the place the Queen had kissed at her collarbone, swelling in time with the fevered throb of her secondary gland.
Lin Ruxi, leaning above her, felt her Alpha’s restless stirring. Clearly on the brink of losing control, yet still babbling about “meeting her needs.”
A little liar—but such an earnest little liar.
So be it. Let the Alpha have what she wanted.
She tore away the suppressant patch. Lemon-mint pheromones instantly tangled with her own violet fragrance.
The pheromones of an SS-class Omega—irresistible.
“Such loyalty, Little Jin. How could I not reward you?”
Suddenly, Yunhan felt herself caught—like a moon caught in orbit, drawn unerringly toward its planet, their gravity crashing into one.
She could hold back no longer. With a surge, she flipped their positions, teeth tearing open the byt packet clenched between her lips.
Heat blazed in her eyes, and Lin Ruxi’s heartbeat stuttered. Yet when Yunhan fumbled awkwardly, the Queen’s breath escaped in a teasing laugh.
“What’s this? Is this your first time, Little Jin? Don’t know how to use it?”
Alphas really were creatures of instinct. She had said it was because of the pregnancy—that they shouldn’t—but in the end, she still couldn’t resist.
Jin Yunhan’s ears burned at the truth laid bare by her words.
She tossed the BYT box into the water, stubborn yet earnest in her explanation. “Your Majesty, I only opened it to destroy it.”
Lin Ruxi blinked: What?
“If the pregnancy makes things difficult for you…” Yunhan pinned her wrist to the pillow, voice firm. “Then you only need to lie down. There’s no need to be with any other Alpha—it’s too dangerous, and too…” She bit her lip. As the child’s other parent, she suddenly craved this sole right, this obligation that was hers alone.
How could it be given away so easily?
As she bent down, her loose strands of hair—whether intentional or not—brushed across Lin Ruxi’s chest, drawing a soft tremor and a faint gasp from the queen’s lips.
And then clothing was gone. The moment wasn’t only a fleeting press of bodies but a rush of memory, both recalling that one uncontrollable night of chaos.
The girl was beautiful—her delicate face, her figure not as voluptuous as Lin Ruxi’s proud curves, but the friction of skin against skin stirred a different kind of pleasure.
Yet the sense of control—of her wrist being held while their bodies rubbed together—felt strangely unfamiliar to the queen. She gave a quiet hum, shifting her wrist slightly, tugging at the silken sash tied like a leash around the Alpha’s neck.
The queen was used to being above, looking down upon her subject beneath her skirts.
The ribbon tightened, forcing Jin Yunhan from top to bottom, subdued by the leash, her natural Alpha wildness hidden away in submission.
“Little President Jin,” Lin Ruxi said softly, “you lie down.”
With her head pulled back, Yunhan had no choice. Hands cradling her head, she looked up at the queen. Lin Ruxi slowly drew back, pleased to see the Alpha still salute her—this time at the very last moment her clothes fell.
The queen gave a soft laugh, crimson lips curling into a smile as she lifted her chin in pride, feigning indifference. She tilted her foot, hooking Yunhan’s chin, dragging slowly downward until her toe pressed exactly where the “salute” was raised—gently grinding.
“Still so honest, and yet not honest at all, Little President Jin.” Her voice teased. “Just like the first time I saw you, saluting with your hand. This time, you’re saluting with… this, in front of me, flaunting it?”
“Ah—”
Yunhan let out a strained hiss, dropping her hands from her head, her shallow breaths growing heavier.
“Does it hurt?” Lin Ruxi pressed down harder with her foot, expecting her to beg.
Instead, Yunhan grabbed her ankle. “Your Majesty… harder. I—I…”
Lemon-mint pheromones spilled into the air. The faint sting blended into something else entirely, something that made her crave more—heavier, tighter, deeper.
Of course. A twenty-something Alpha girl—twenty-four hours in a day, and aside from the hours spent sleeping, the rest of the time that fire between her legs was like a branding iron.
Lin Ruxi arched a brow, lifting her dampened foot, realizing for the first time just how true those words might be.
So much.
“Thirsty?” she asked with a sly smile, voice uncharacteristically soft, threaded with seduction.
“Thirsty, Your Majesty. I want water.” Yunhan licked her lips, honest as ever.
“Then… would this quench you?” The queen’s reward, like rain after a drought.
She sank down onto the Alpha’s face, violet-scented pheromones flooding the air.
But the queen never did one-sided deals.
The peach was presented directly to the “trading partner.” Yunhan cupped it with both hands, pressing her lips against it with devotion. Sweet, luscious—no matter how much she drank, it wasn’t enough. She nuzzled closer, biting down hard, inhaling deeply through her nose.
It felt like her very soul was being pulled out, that last swallow loud enough to set skin aflame.
Lin Ruxi’s limbs trembled, as if every drop of her had been drained into the Alpha’s mouth. Worse, the wretched girl had bitten her.
“Not allowed—” She wanted to forbid it, but the sound of greedy swallowing robbed her voice. She bit down on Yunhan’s neck instead.
Her strength wavered. The silk leash slipped from her hand and fell away. The freed girl, pardoned at last, tilted the queen’s hips higher, as though receiving divine nectar from the heavens, letting every violet-scented drop rain across her face.
“You little beast!”
The queen was lifted up—yet that Alpha still didn’t spare even the roots of her thighs.
Enough. She had had enough. Lin Ruxi reached desperately for the whip, striking down hard across the Alpha’s body.
But instead of retreating, the girl only seemed to grow more eager.
After the second lash, she was everywhere—her tongue tracing every inch of the queen’s body.
Lin Ruxi was painted through and through with her own pheromone, front and back, inside and out. Her fingers clenched the sheets, body tensing and relaxing in turns.
When release came, the world around her was almost dry—an unthinkable first. Weak, trembling, she raised a hand to slap the girl away.
But the Alpha pressed her face into that palm instead, nuzzling like a puppy.
Lin Ruxi’s heart softened—only to crack the very next second.
“Your Majesty, I’m still thirsty.” Yunhan lifted her drenched, delicate face, and earnestly recited, “Queen’s Code of Loyalty, Article 52: Learn from Her Majesty—frugality for the nation, no extravagance, no waste.”
“All your water, let me drink it. May I?”
“Get out.”
