- After Mistakenly Marking My Ex’s Older Sister, the Disabled Alpha Stood Up
- Chapter 72 - Clearly Panting with Desire
Jin Yunhan had been hiding in Jin Corporation for a full month. During that time, she lived like a startled bird, terrified that the Queen might find her, skulking about like a little thief caught stealing kisses.
At mealtimes, she would occasionally appear in the staff cafeteria, but more often had her assistant bring takeout. As for sleeping, she had converted a private lounge into a makeshift bedroom, just enough to get by.
Jin Yunxi couldn’t make sense of it. She told her sister to go home, but Yunhan flatly refused—insisting on staying in the office twenty-four hours a day. Her only “exercise” was wandering the company hallways under the pretense of stretching her legs.
The employees, meanwhile, suffered in silence. With little President Jin refusing to leave, how could they possibly clock out early? They had no choice but to accompany her in her all-night vigils, as if they were keeping watch over falcons.
Secretly, everyone prayed: Little President Jin, please just fall in love and get married soon. Let some Omega tame you already! Stop treating the company like your personal home, eating, sleeping, and doing everything here!
Her reputation as “Workaholic No. 3” began to spread through the business world. In Yatran Palace, Lin Ruxi heard of it and merely let out a cold laugh.
After being marked so deeply, the dependence on her marking Alpha gnawed at her. She longed—constantly—for that overwhelming fullness again. That infuriating lemon-mint pheromone clung to her memory, making her restless. She took a long sip of lemon-mint cocktail, brows drawing together.
The liquid swirled with a clink inside the tall glass. An eager little Alpha massaged the Queen’s shoulders, pouting. “Your Majesty, were you satisfied with her service?”
Her heart soured just like the Queen’s lemon. Lin Ruxi smoothed a hand down the girl’s taut abs. “Darling, you were wonderful too.”
What she left unsaid was—the two of you together would be even better.
Still, she was angry with Jin Yunhan. Not only had the woman failed to come crawling to atone, she even dared to avoid her.
Even receiving a casual text from Jin Yunxi asking about her felt irritating.
That wretched little sister of Jin Yunxi—she had actually made her climax, actually dared to sink her canines in and mark her. The audacity!
“Your Majesty, what was it you wanted to see me about?” Jin Yunxi pretended to forget their agreement, playing dumb. She fully expected Lin Ruxi to press hard, step by step.
Yet to her surprise, the Queen replied offhandedly, “Nothing.”
And then never pursued it again.
Jin Yunxi was left stunned. What… Lin Ruxi suddenly changed her nature?
“Ah Yun, what are you daydreaming about?” Yan Qingruo leaned against her in the soft embrace of the sofa. Jin Yunxi worked intently on her laptop while Qingruo playfully fed her from time to time, lips parting to hold a glistening cherry before slowly slipping it into Jin Yunxi’s mouth.
Their tongues brushed, lips briefly grazing. After tasting the fruit, Jin Yunxi couldn’t resist planting a quick kiss on Qingruo’s lips, her chin resting lightly on her shoulder. “Something feels off.”
She had told Qingruo before: agreeing to have a child with the Queen was only a stopgap.
But the Queen had let her off so easily. Even the garden meeting arranged with Yunhan never happened—Yunhan had vanished, buried herself in overtime, and hadn’t stepped foot outside the company since.
Both of them were acting oddly.
Qingruo’s imagination sparked. “Maybe the Queen has her eye on your sister? She’s a pretty capable Alpha too.”
She then revealed what she had seen the other day: a bite mark at the back of Yunhan’s neck. “And I caught the scent of violet pheromones on her. Whoever marked her was at least SS-rank.”
Only an Omega of equal or higher rank could detect such pheromones.
Jin Yunxi froze. SS-rank Omegas in Yatran were rare as phoenix feathers. The only ones she knew of was Qingruo herself—and Lin Ruxi.
Qingruo was clearly out of the question. Which meant… Yunhan’s SS-level bite could only have come from Lin Ruxi?
Jin Yunxi’s eyes widened in disbelief. The Queen dropped me just like that—for my sister?
It felt like a dream.
But Qingruo’s lips curled into a faint pout. “What’s this? You don’t like the idea of the Queen shifting her affections?”
She actually used the phrase shifting affections! Hmph.
Jin Yunxi quickly laughed it off. “Of course not! I’m thrilled. The more they tangle together, day and night, the more obsessed with each other they become—the better!”
Still, unease lingered. If Lin Ruxi really paired with Yunhan, she would no doubt toss a mountain of responsibilities her way.
Just as Yunxi had once dumped tasks on Yunhan whenever she fell in love, the Queen would now do the same to her.
What goes around comes around.
“I don’t like it when Ah Yun thinks about anyone else.”
Qingruo’s silky nightdress had slipped down to her waist, baring shoulders mottled with fading kiss marks. She swirled the glass in her hand, the cherry drifting lazily in honeyed water, catching the light.
“Ah Yun~” she cooed, pressing the chilled fruit against her Alpha’s earlobe, her voice lilting with teasing sweetness.
Jin Yunxi’s lashes trembled, but she only drew her closer, eyes still fixed on the merger plan glowing on her laptop screen.
Qingruo bit her lip, trailing her fingertips over the back of her Alpha’s neck, circling the sensitive gland and scratching lightly with her nail.
“Be good, don’t move.”
Jin Yunxi tried to keep working, her lips just slightly parted—when Yan Qingruo suddenly seized the chance. She leaned in with a mischievous glint, slipping a cherry into her mouth before pressing closer.
“Is your computer really that fascinating?” she teased. “You’ve been at it for an hour already.”
Bracing herself on the sofa with one knee by Yunxi’s side, she bent down, the cherry half-falling from her lips.
Instinctively, Yunxi leaned forward to bite it—only for Qingruo to slip away at the last second. Her soft tongue tipped up, brushing Yunxi’s lips as it held the cherry just out of reach. She rubbed the fruit against Yunxi’s teeth but refused to feed it to her, before slipping the pulp between their mouths, juice spreading with sweet stickiness.
Realizing how badly she’d been neglecting her wife, Yunxi decisively caught the next cherry with her own mouth, biting down on Qingruo’s tongue tip as she pushed the pit back against her.
“This time,” Qingruo murmured with a smile, holding a plump green date between her lips as she leaned in, “let’s try a jujube.”
“Alright.” Yunxi’s hand slid around her waist and yanked her in, making her fall neatly across Yunxi’s lap. Their noses brushed, breath mingling.
The slick fruit was passed into Yunxi’s mouth, but the moment her teeth grazed the skin, Qingruo’s tongue darted in, twining and teasing like a snake.
Sweet juice spilled everywhere. Qingruo bit lightly onto the pit, then drew out the flavor with a breath before pushing the pulp back to Yunxi.
A low sound escaped Yunxi’s throat. Her palm pressed the back of Qingruo’s neck to deepen the kiss, her tongue sweeping through with hungry dominance, stealing every trace of her Omega’s breath. The date was crushed between them, swallowed with mingled heat and saliva.
By the time the fruit was stripped clean, Qingruo tipped her head back, hair spilling loose, lips glossy and eyes shimmering with allure. She panted, voice sultry as she asked, “Sweet?”
Yunxi shoved her laptop aside, pinched another green date between her fingers, and dipped it into the honeyed warmth already waiting. Smiling, she drawled, “Not sweet enough, wife. I want honey-brewed jujubes~”
By the end, Qingruo’s lashes were misted with tears, the corners of her eyes glowing red.
…
Gurgle, gurgle—the sweetness was heady, the fruit plump with ripeness.
“My favorite is still the jujubes my baby brews herself.”
“Do you like it?”
“No I don’t, Ah Yun is so annoying~”
Her body trembled soft as water, yet deep inside, joy unfurled like a blooming flower.
Yunxi drank up every last drop, but thanks to the endless “poses” that followed, her “overtime” stretched on without end. The next day, the furniture store once again delivered a brand-new sofa.

That same day, Jin Yunhan received a new project lead. The other party claimed to be the CEO of a rising new-energy company. Faced with such a big opportunity, she couldn’t afford to let it slip by.
“President Mu, this way please.”
The woman who entered wore a wide-brimmed vintage hat that shaded half her face. Her aura was commanding, each strike of her stiletto heels against the floor sharp and rhythmic.
“President Jin,” she said, her voice cool and familiar, “long time no see.”
Yunhan’s heart nearly burst out of her chest. That voice… it was the same as the one that had filled her ears that night—with drawn-out moans and broken cries.
Her fingers tightened convulsively around her coffee cup. She bolted upright, wanting nothing more than to run. The movement was so frantic that scalding coffee sloshed over the rim, burning the web of her hand.
“Hiss—ah! Hot!”
“What’s the rush, President Jin? Where are you planning to run off to?”
The woman removed her hat, emerald eyes glinting as they swept over the suppressant patch freshly stuck to Yunhan’s neck. The corner of her mouth curved into a cold smile.
With a neat click, the office door was shut by Special Assistant Jin.
“Good luck, President Jin. Our boss has high hopes for you.” Jin Fan grinned, even giving Yunhan a wink and a cheer-up fist.
Yunhan wanted to cry. She even raised her hand halfway in a pitiful gesture before dropping it again in despair.
Because outside the door stood another Alpha—the one with sun-browned skin who had joined them in that unforgettable “threesome.” She now guarded the entrance like a loyal sentinel.
The door wasn’t just locked—it might as well have been welded shut.
“You’re President Mu?” Yunhan stared at the ceiling, the floor, anywhere but at Lin Ruxi, feigning ignorance.
“Such selective memory,” Ruxi drawled, striding toward her. “Last month in my chambers, you weren’t this timid.”
On the contrary—when she was on top, she had been anything but timid.
The projector’s glow lit up Yunhan’s suddenly flushed face.
She wanted to vanish.
“Uh—I, uh, need the restroom!”
Scratching her head, she lurched to her feet, metal chair legs screeching across the floor.
But the queen was ready. Her hand pressed firmly on Yunhan’s shoulder, the residual heat of pheromones searing into her skin. “Run where? The whole floor is mine now.”
She leaned in deliberately, breath hot against Yunhan’s reddening ear. “Or… do you want your sister to find out how her precious little sibling warmed my bed in her place?”
Clutching her forehead, Yunhan feigned amnesia. “Ah, what are you talking about? I’ve been drinking a lot lately—my memory’s not great.”
Ruxi only smirked, slowly peeling off her silk gloves. Her fingers traced Yunhan’s taut jawline as violet pheromones curled heavy in the air. “Still pretending?”
Her hand suddenly clamped the back of Yunhan’s neck, nails grazing the trembling gland. “Then how do you explain this bite mark laced with my scent?”
Yunhan went rigid, kicking over the trash can at her feet.
But Ruxi’s lips were already brushing her fevered ear.
“That night… sometimes you were like a frightened little deer.”
Her hot breath, thick with pheromones, seeped into Yunhan’s lungs. Ruxi’s other hand slipped into her suit pocket and drew out a wrinkled tie. “But the moment I bit here—”
In one swift motion, the tie looped around Yunhan’s wrists, pulling taut. She yanked back hard, binding her completely.
“—you panted more desperately than anyone.”
Cold sweat slid down Yunhan’s spine. She could hear the dry swallow in her own throat. Her hands were shackled tight as if in chains, and under Queen Lin Ruxi’s control, she was utterly powerless.
