After Marrying the Cold Omega in Secret - Chapter 61
Once in the car, Chu Jin, in her drunken haze, lingered repeatedly on Chi Ye’s lips.
Their warm lips pressed together, like touching soft marshmallows, always carrying a hint of sweetness. Chu Jin gently sucked on her lower lip, insatiably savoring it with tender licks and nibbles.
Her heart burned hotter, until she couldn’t resist lightly biting down.
Chi Ye let out a soft hiss, her brows furrowing slightly.
Chu Jin immediately cupped Chi Ye’s face, fingers threading through her silky hair, caressing gently as if holding a treasure.
Chi Ye’s breathing had already grown erratic.
But the kisses didn’t stop. Chu Jin trailed downward, finally pausing at her neck to plant a soft kiss.
Her voice was husky with desire as she murmured, “You’re so sweet, baby.”
Chi Ye, who had already been holding on to her last shred of composure, couldn’t suppress a slight tremble.
Feeling her reaction, Chu Jin lifted her chin, returning to their original distance, gazing deeply into Chi Ye’s eyes as she teased, “What’s wrong, baby?”
Her fingers brushed Chi Ye’s lips, now as red as rose petals from prolonged kissing, glistening with moisture.
It made it even harder to look away, harder to control herself.
Chu Jin stared greedily at those lips, mesmerized, as if gazing at prey she had long awaited.
Chi Ye, equally intoxicated, gazed back with dazed, shimmering eyes.
Her lips parted, uttering just one word.
“It tickles.”
Chu Jin’s lips curled slightly as her fingertips traced Chi Ye’s lips, her voice low and rough. “Why is everything tickling you?”
Her tone carried a hint of amusement, laced with provocation.
Chi Ye, already flushed, grew even more embarrassed at those words. Her shimmering eyes sparkled with fragmented light, making her even more irresistible only fueling the heat in Chu Jin’s chest.
The confined space of the car was thick with an ambiguous tension, like a misty, humid haze they couldn’t escape. In the dim light, just looking at each other was enough to stretch their last thread of reason to its limit.
One more provocation, and it would snap entirely.
Fortunately, the car had unknowingly arrived at the villa’s entrance.
The moment it stopped, they hurried out.
Earlier, on the road, a light drizzle had begun to fall, and now faint raindrops still drifted through the air. Without an umbrella, they dashed straight into the cool night.
Chu Jin pulled Chi Ye inside, heading straight upstairs.
The dizziness from earlier had faded, leaving just the right amount of intoxication enough to act as a catalyst for desire.
The bathtub was already filled, with only a dim yellow light left on, heightening the intimate atmosphere.
Between kisses, Chu Jin gently slipped off Chi Ye’s dress. Though they had seen each other before, standing bare before one another tonight still carried a hint of shyness.
Chi Ye was the first to falter, covering Chu Jin’s eyes with her hand. “Don’t look…”
Chu Jin smirked, pulling her hand away and holding it in her palm. “My baby is so beautiful, why shouldn’t I look?”
“Smooth talker.”
With that, Chi Ye stepped into the bathtub, submerging herself, hiding the alluring sight beneath the water.
Gazing down at the bathing beauty, Chu Jin followed her in.
Luckily, the tub was spacious enough that sitting face-to-face didn’t feel cramped.
Chi Ye, now submerged in the water, had completely relaxed. A tender affection lingered between her brows, and a faint smile played at the corners of her lips.
After a moment of gazing at each other, Chu Jin felt something lightly brushing against her side. Lowering her eyes, she saw Chi Ye slowly raising the tips of her toes.
The misty fragrance wafted through the air as a slick droplet of water slid down onto Chu Jin’s shoulder.
Long, slender legs emerged from the water, glistening faintly under the warm yellow light, damp and glistening just like Chu Jin’s heart.
Chu Jin watched Chi Ye, her heart surging with emotion, yet she suppressed it, feigning composure.
“What’s wrong?” she asked.
By now, Chi Ye no longer concealed anything. Her eyes were seductive, shimmering with the allure of spring, and she uttered just two words:
“Come here.”
Her voice was soft, yet it carried an irresistible magic.
That whisper was like a spark, instantly igniting Chu Jin’s already wavering heart, burning all the way to her throat, leaving her mouth dry. She couldn’t help but swallow hard.
A mischievous glint flashed in Chu Jin’s eyes before she suddenly grasped Chi Ye’s calf and, with lightning speed, leaned forward, sending water splashing everywhere.
Her movements were swift in the blink of an eye, she had Chi Ye pinned beneath her.
Her palm slid up from the smooth calf, tracing upward to grip Chi Ye’s waist, pulling her off-balance body firmly into her embrace.
Before Chi Ye could react, Chu Jin’s lips were already on hers.
This kiss was far more intense, far more fervent than the one in the car. With no more reservations, both of them surrendered completely.
The dim, flickering light cast tangled silhouettes against the steam-filled air. The water in the bathtub rippled with their movements, the once-gentle waves now churning violently, splashing wildly until they were utterly drenched.
Only when their breaths grew ragged did Chu Jin reluctantly pull away from Chi Ye.
The other woman’s cheeks were flushed, her eyes hazy with desire.
Chu Jin whispered, “Shall we move to the bed?”
Though the water was thrilling, it was too restrictive. Chu Jin much preferred the spaciousness of a bed.
Understanding her meaning, Chi Ye gave a slight nod. “Okay.”
With her consent, Chu Jin adjusted her position in the water, then slid a hand beneath Chi Ye’s lower back, lifting her effortlessly onto her lap.
Chi Ye immediately pressed close, arms looping around Chu Jin’s neck, legs intertwining around her waist.
Chu Jin then supported Chi Ye with one arm while bracing herself against the edge of the tub with the other. With a flex of her core and legs, she rose from the water with ease.
As an alpha, she had ample strength, and Chi Ye, though tall, was light lifting her required no effort at all.
Reaching the bed, Chu Jin leaned down, settling Chi Ye onto the sheets before hovering over her.
Their eyes met again, and like a flame meeting alcohol, the heat between them flared instantly.
Chu Jin lowered her head, pressing a fleeting kiss to Chi Ye’s eyelashes light as a dragonfly’s touch then to her cheeks, the tip of her nose, before finally landing on her earlobe.
This was Chi Ye’s sensitive spot. Chu Jin lavished attention on it, teasing with meticulous care before ending with a gentle nip.
But her lips didn’t retreat. Warm breath lingered against Chi Ye’s ear as she murmured, voice trembling with restraint:
“How about using your mouth?”
Chi Ye knew exactly what she meant. Flustered, she tightened her arms around Chu Jin’s neck, pulling her down until their bodies were flush, her face buried in the crook of Chu Jin’s shoulder.
Making sure the other wouldn’t see her flushed cheeks, she responded softly, “Okay.”
With consent given, Chu Jin continued lowering her head to plant kisses, leaving passionate marks trailing down from the neck.
Outside, the rain had unknowingly turned into a downpour. Lying in warm bedding while listening to the rain was an extremely cozy pleasure.
Chu Jin had always enjoyed staying home on such rainy days before – curling up on the sofa to watch a movie, then sleeping when tired. Though when alone, she still felt somewhat lonely. Now with Chi Ye by her side, that emptiness was perfectly filled.
The two lay facing each other on their sides, still gazing affectionately after their intimacy, as if wanting to carefully trace and memorize each other’s features to treasure in their hearts.
Just then, a “gurgle~~” sound suddenly came from under the blankets.
Chu Jin smiled sheepishly.
With gentle expression, Chi Ye asked softly, “Hungry?”
“I didn’t eat this afternoon, and just now used up some energy,” Chu Jin blinked.
“Then I’ll have the housekeeper make some food,” Chi Ye said.
Chu Jin checked her phone – it was already 8pm. They’d rushed back in the afternoon without eating the prepared meal, which was probably discarded by now.
Moreover, it was quite late to ask the housekeeper to cook again. As a fellow working person, Chu Jin felt it inappropriate and shook her head.
“No need, I can cook some noodles myself.” With a smiling glance at Chi Ye, she tentatively asked, “My noodles are really good – would you like to try some?”
Seeing Chu Jin’s slightly expectant eyes, Chi Ye nodded, “Okay, I’m hungry too.”
Delighted by the agreement, Chu Jin leaned in to lightly kiss her lips before quickly getting up, already eager to showcase her culinary skills.
Though it had been a while since she last cooked – back when helping in the kitchen during that dating show. After cooking on the first day (when Chi Ye had cooked), she’d just assisted occasionally before meals were handled by the crew.
Of course some guests occasionally showed off their cooking skills on impulse – but never Chu Jin.
Though not skilled, her noodles were indeed quite decent, having even earned praise from the pickiest eater Song Xunyu.
Going downstairs to the kitchen, she checked the well-stocked fridge with all kinds of vegetables, but chose only eggs, greens, ham and two portions of fresh noodles – sticking to what she could handle.
Chi Ye sat at the island counter, chin propped on hand watching Chu Jin’s figure, heart warmed like spring sunshine.
“Need any help?” she asked softly.
Chu Jin declared confidently, “No need!”
“Just wait to enjoy the meal.”
Expecting her to start cooking with practiced ease, Chi Ye was slightly surprised when Chu Jin first pulled out her phone, fiddled with it for a while to pull up a clear broth noodle tutorial video, then propped it on the counter.
As Chu Jin began prepping ingredients following the steps, perhaps sensing the gaze behind her, she turned to give Chi Ye a smiling glance.
Explaining, “Though I need to check the tutorial, the result tastes really good.”
Maintaining her relaxed posture, Chi Ye continued watching with chin in hand, “Okay.”
Admittedly, Chu Jin worked quite fast – in under twenty minutes, two steaming bowls of noodles were served on the table.
Each bowl contained a fried egg, a few slices of ham, and some greens, topped with a sprinkle of chopped scallions.
The aroma was irresistible, instantly whetting one’s appetite.
It was a feast for the eyes, nose, and palate.
Chu Jin handed Chi Ye a pair of chopsticks. “Try it.”
Chi Ye took a bite. The taste was just as delightful as it looked light yet rich with the natural flavors of the ingredients. The piping-hot broth coated the noodles perfectly, and with a bite of greens, each mouthful was deeply satisfying.
After often indulging in lavish delicacies, this simple bowl of noodles brought an unexpected sense of comfort.
Chu Jin watched Chi Ye’s reaction closely, eager for her verdict.
After swallowing a mouthful, Chi Ye looked up and praised sincerely, “It’s delicious.”
Though the words were plain, Chu Jin knew this was high praise coming from Chi Ye.
Only after receiving her approval did Chu Jin start eating.
Whether it was hunger or something else, Chu Jin found the noodles exceptionally tasty today, better than any she had made before.
Perhaps her cooking skills had quietly improved.
Maybe this was what it meant to be a natural-born chef.
She finished quickly, even drinking up the broth.
Chi Ye, too, was a gracious eater. Though her appetite wasn’t large, she polished off the noodles, leaving only the soup.
Once both were done, Chu Jin wasted no time, gathering the bowls and heading to the kitchen.
Chi Ye urged her to rest, but Chu Jin was stubborn refusing to let the housekeeper help or Chi Ye interfere.
Mainly, Chu Jin wanted to finish quickly so they could head upstairs to freshen up and rest. It was late, and Chi Ye surely had an early morning ahead.
So Chi Ye returned to the island counter to wait.
After the warm meal, her slightly cold hands and feet had warmed up. Watching Chu Jin’s back, her heart swelled with warmth.
Perhaps this was the simplest, yet rarest kind of happiness.
And she was lucky enough to have it.
Real, not a dream.
Just as she was lost in thought, a notification chimed from the phone on the counter.
Chi Ye glanced over reflexively.
It was Chu Jin’s phone left there after she finished cooking following the tutorial.
A WeChat message popped up:
[Jiang Xu: Sister, are you asleep?]
