After Failing to Reverse the Plot, I Made My Escape - Chapter 36
“Baby, let’s have a child, alright? Hmm?”
“Will you leave again?” Even though the root of his tongue was numb from the kissing, Yu Fuqiu was unwilling to let go of Chang Tingzhi. He nestled tightly in Chang Tingzhi’s arms, desperately drinking in his scent.
“Why aren’t you speaking?” Chang Tingzhi remained silent, though his heavy, ragged breathing betrayed his emotions. Yu Fuqiu looked up and asked with trepidation, “Even if this is a dream?”
“Is it still not allowed?”
“Just one night. One night is enough.”
Yu Fuqiu called out in a small voice, like a lingering young beast, whispering Chang Tingzhi’s name with airy breaths. His head rested on Chang Tingzhi’s arm, his face buried in the man’s chest, his voice muffled.
Chang Tingzhi rested his chin on Yu Fuqiu’s hair. His expression was languid, his eyes narrowed slightly, and he did not refute Yu Fuqiu’s words. His voice was husky. “Tell me our story from before.”
“Our story from before?” Yu Fuqiu looked up in confusion, gazing at Chang Tingzhi.
“Yes,” Chang Tingzhi said softly. “I was always the one telling it to you. I want to hear your version of me in the story.”
“The you in the story, you were jealous, petty, and incredibly possessive.” Yu Fuqiu suddenly thought of something. “Do you still remember Lin Yang?”
At the mention of that name, Chang Tingzhi had no memory of it, but he instinctively furrowed his brows, disliking the person from the bottom of his heart. Yu Fuqiu smiled and began to speak of their past.
Back then, Yu Fuqiu had just finished filming an emotionally draining crying scene. His eyes were still red, and he was resting on a lounge chair with his eyes closed while Tan Ling discussed the upcoming schedule nearby.
“Brother Qiu!” A fresh, bright male voice cut in with a smile. “Drink some honey water to soothe your throat.”
Yu Fuqiu opened his eyes and took the thermos handed to him. The boy was a newcomer in the crew, playing the intern he mentored on screen, and acted like a little shadow off screen as well. He was sunny and handsome. Rumor had it he used to be a fitness coach, with beautiful lines from swimming and a smile that showed a small canine tooth. He did not call him “Teacher Yu” like the others; instead, he sweetly called him “Brother Qiu.”
“Thank you.” Yu Fuqiu rubbed the corners of his eyes and gave him a gentle smile.
Lin Yang froze for a moment before snapping back to his senses, his face flushing. “Brother Qiu! That scene just now was amazing. I almost cried watching the monitor!” He pulled up a small stool to sit beside him, his eyes shining. “By the way, the hotel gym pool is empty today, and the water temperature is perfect. We finish early tonight. I have a scene where I fall into the water, and since I am a good swimmer, I wanted to ask for your advice.”
Yu Fuqiu found it amusing but remained gentle. “We will see. Perhaps you can ask Teacher Chu; he is the best swimmer in our crew.”
“Oh,” Lin Yang was not discouraged. He continued to smile brightly and scrolled through his phone. “Brother Qiu, look at this movement.”
Yu Fuqiu instinctively looked at the image. In a moment of accidental scrolling, a mirror selfie taken at a perfect angle, showing abdominal muscles glistening with water droplets, flashed by before the screen went black. Lin Yang scratched his head in frustration. “I sent it to the wrong person! Brother Qiu, you did not see that, right?”
Yu Fuqiu replied, “No, I did not see it.”
At that moment, there were two soft knocks on the dressing room door before it was pushed open.
“Wow, so handsome, Brother Qiu,” Lin Yang whispered, leaning close to Yu Fuqiu’s ear.
The newcomer was wearing a black windbreaker. His backpack bore a badge from Q University, and he held a book. He was a student from Q University.
“Gosh, a top student too.” Lin Yang leaned closer and closer to Yu Fuqiu, but Yu Fuqiu’s gaze was fixed on the visitor, unaware of Lin Yang’s proximity.
In the next second, Lin Yang was hoisted up by his collar. He was forced into eye contact with the cold faced handsome man in black. He rubbed his nose and gave an awkward smile. Although he had not been in the industry long, he had seen many beautiful people, but only a few were truly stunning. One was Yu Fuqiu, and the other was the cold faced man before him.
“Tingzhi?” Yu Fuqiu sat up straight immediately, an unconscious smile spreading across his face. “Why are you here?”
“I just left the lab to collect some samples and stopped by to see you.” His eyes flickered. “Who is this?” His voice was flat.
“Oh, a newcomer in the crew, Lin Yang. He plays my intern. He is a very talented kid,” Yu Fuqiu introduced, his tone carrying the usual praise of a senior for a junior.
“Is that so?” Chang Tingzhi responded indifferently before letting go. He walked toward Yu Fuqiu and naturally reached out to touch his still reddened eyelids. “Another crying scene?”
“Yes.” Yu Fuqiu naturally leaned his face into the palm of the man’s hand, nuzzling it before giving it a light squeeze. Their interaction was intimate and natural, flowing with a silent understanding and warmth that others could not join.
Lin Yang’s expression faltered as a strange feeling spread through his heart. He interrupted the atmosphere, looking up with a perfectly timed look of admiration. “Hello! I am Brother Qiu’s fan. It is a great honor to work with him. Brother Qiu takes great care of me on set and has taught me so much!”
As he spoke, he leaned closer to Yu Fuqiu again and placed a small snack in his palm. Chang Tingzhi knew at a glance that it was Yu Fuqiu’s favorite dried fruit. Lin Yang added, “We get along so well. Brother Qiu is really friendly!”
The words sounded innocent, yet they carried a subtle sense of claiming territory.
Chang Tingzhi’s deep gaze lingered on his face for two seconds. Suddenly, he smiled at Lin Yang. “Then, may I ask how Teacher Yu would introduce me to this newcomer?”
Yu Fuqiu was momentarily stunned and hesitant. Chang Tingzhi was still in university. He could not exactly claim to be his guardian, and Chang Tingzhi certainly was not his son.
“He is my younger brother.” Yu Fuqiu breathed a sigh of relief and introduced him to Lin Yang. “My brother who studies at Q University. He is very smart and just stopped by to see me.”
As soon as he finished, he heard Chang Tingzhi’s low chuckle. The voice was magnetic and right by his ear, his sensitive spot. His waist went weak in an instant.
As if he had calculated it perfectly, Chang Tingzhi reached out and accurately hooked his arm around Yu Fuqiu’s shoulder, pulling him into his embrace. His movements were unhurried but carried an unquestionable sense of possession. Then, he leaned down and landed a light yet firm kiss on Yu Fuqiu’s surprised, slightly parted lips, which were still moist from the honey water.
The contact was brief, but it was enough to plunge the entire dressing room into a dead silence.
The apple in Tan Ling’s hand dropped to the floor. Her eyes widened, and she quickly looked down, pretending to organize things. The smile on Lin Yang’s face froze completely, and the hand that had been opening the snack stayed paralyzed in mid-air.
Chang Tingzhi sat back in the chair. With a pull, Yu Fuqiu tumbled into his lap, instinctively wrapping his arms around the man’s neck. It was a natural, intimate gesture practiced a thousand times. Chang Tingzhi sat upright and gave Yu Fuqiu’s waist a light pinch, satisfied by the tremor he felt in the body he held.
He looked calmly at Lin Yang, whose expression was shifting rapidly. The corner of his mouth curled into a faint smile as he asked in a deep, clear voice, “Brother? Does a brother kiss you like this? Hmm? Big brother.”
Yu Fuqiu rolled over and sat on Chang Tingzhi. The warm yellow light reflected in his eyes, and tears still clung to his lashes. He leaned down slightly and flicked Chang Tingzhi’s nose. “You were only in university then, yet you were already such a jealous person. A little jealous ghost.”
“Clearly I was the victim, but you were the one who ignored me when we got back. You gave me the cold shoulder and only talked to me after I coaxed you for a long time.”
“What about that brat?” Chang Tingzhi’s eyes burned. Sitting on him, Yu Fuqiu could feel the man’s gaze like a featherweight pressure.
“Who?” Yu Fuqiu’s head felt fuzzy; he did not react for a moment. “Lin Yang?”
“It was all because of you. That kid seemed so shocked that he stopped coming to talk to me after that.”
“Hmph,” Chang Tingzhi gave a cold snort. “Well, I am jealous now.”
“Haven’t you already had your fill?” Yu Fuqiu laughed. His long hair was loose, and the oversized hospital gown hung loosely on his thin frame, the collar slightly open to reveal his fragile neck and beautiful collarbones. His face was full of smiles, and a faint red mark from his previous crying lingered at the corner of his eyes like smeared rouge, making him look pitiable and lovely. His features held an unconscious blend of exhaustion and dependent charm.
Chang Tingzhi sat up, his movement forcing Yu Fuqiu to brace himself. His arms softly wrapped around Chang Tingzhi’s neck as he leaned in completely, sitting on the man’s lap. He tilted his head slightly, pressing his cheek into the crook of Chang Tingzhi’s neck as his hair cascaded down and a pleasant scent wafted over.
Chang Tingzhi’s body stiffened imperceptibly for a moment. His Adam’s apple bobbed as dark colors swirled in his eyes. His fingertips lifted Yu Fuqiu’s clothes, stroking the fair skin. The burning heat of his palm nearly scorched him.
“He had his fill, but I haven’t.”
Chang Tingzhi’s voice was husky. After speaking, he leaned down and captured Yu Fuqiu’s lips again, gently probing inside, swirling through the numbing mouth and sucking on the pink tongue with slow bites and licks.
“Woo,” Yu Fuqiu’s face flushed from the kiss. He pushed Chang Tingzhi away and looked up slightly. “This, this is the hospital, and it is a dream.”
“Since it is a dream, all the more reason to look for excitement.” Chang Tingzhi’s voice seemed to possess a certain magic, luring Yu Fuqiu forward step by step.
Yu Fuqiu’s brain was as hot as mush, and he had long lost the ability to think. Without hesitation, he took the initiative to kiss Chang Tingzhi. Chang Tingzhi’s hand familiarly squeezed the soft flesh, over and over, like kneading soft white dough.
“Woo, not enough. Husband, husband, mmm, love me.” Yu Fuqiu tilted his head back, straddling the man’s legs, his waist unable to stop moving. He acted spoiled, his eyes full of liquid desire.
Chang Tingzhi laughed low, pulling back slightly to create a small distance between them. A thin silver thread of saliva appeared between them, looking even more intimate under the dim light. He pointed to a damp spot on his shirt. “You miss me that much?”
“Yes, I miss you so much. Husband, husband.” Yu Fuqiu opened his eyes, biting his lip as he pleaded in a small voice.
“Did he ever come here?” Chang Tingzhi’s fingertip pressed against his lower abdomen, asking gently.
“Wha, what?” Yu Fuqiu’s mind was ravaged by a fierce emptiness. He was forced to move on his own and did not hear Chang Tingzhi’s words clearly.
Chang Tingzhi cursed under his breath. Yu Fuqiu cried out, yet he only accommodated the man more.
“Baby, sit down.”
“That is it. A good child should be self-sufficient. There is only so much food; you decide how full you want to be.”
“Don’t, don’t.” Yu Fuqiu was tired from the movement and cried out as he turned to flee. Just as his fingertips touched the edge of the bed, his ankle was seized in the next second and he was dragged back violently.
The man circled him from behind, his slender fingertips tracing patterns on his skin. “You were the one who said you were not full. How is it that you cannot take it after only eating a little bit? Why so delicate?”
“Baby, Qiuqiu, Qiuqiu.”
The man bit him fiercely, looking at the glazed eyes and sucking on the tongue that hung helplessly from his lips.
“Let’s have a child, alright? Hmm?”
“No, you said we would not have more.” Yu Fuqiu cried out, his fingertips resting weakly on the man’s shoulders. The light cast his shadow, which moved rhythmically over and over. He sobbed, “No more.”
“Just one, alright? Just one.” The shadow’s movements suddenly slowed, and Yu Fuqiu’s mind went dizzy from the friction.
“Let’s have a child that belongs only to us. Not his, but mine, my child, Chang Tingzhi’s child.”
The movements varied in depth.
“Woo,” Yu Fuqiu sobbed quietly. “Okay, I will have one, I will have one.”
